Our first time staying there and it was a very nice experience

The room was well appointed and very quiet - just what we needed prior to my cousin’s surgery .

I expected much more when it came to cleanliness. However, the service from the person working at the bar/Starbucks was excellent — they prepared a delicious coffee and were very kind and attentive.

The night shift Guy was awesome but let me tell you that the next morning I got up I went out to breakfast. I came home and when I got there, my door keys didn’t work. I then made my way out to the front desk clerk, and when I gave her my ID. She said that my name is nowhere to be found in the system with that itinerary number. They would not let me in my room for two hours, and I had to call the law for them to do that because they said somebody else’s name was on my reservation that I checked in the night before. Extremely dissatisfied and I want a refund.

The only good thing was the rock bottom price which now that I think about it should have been a clue that the property was crap. It smelled moldy in the hallway the bathroom in the room reeked of old piss. The curtains were covered in mold. The drain in the tub was clogged. If the property manager reads this, go fix ALL of that in room 203.

It was good place for the night. The hotel needs some upgrading like the carpet smelled and room felt musty. The staff was friendly.

Clean room spacious and cozy

We were only there a few days and didn’t get to use the amenities, but the time we spent there was very relaxing and nice . Rooms were clean and beds made up every evening when we got back from our daily outings . Would stay again .

The room was clean the bathroom was clean and nice and staff were very good. The A/C of our room kept shutting off and on no matter that we had it all the way down to 60 degrees it kept shutting off making the room very hot at different times of the night.

Staff nice, nothing bad to say. For what I paid it is what I expected.

I had a late night for my anniversary on 02/14 and my partner and I were due to have a late check out until 1pm but I was woken up not once, but 4 times by kids playing ding dong and ditch. My partner and I couldn’t go back to sleep and had to get on the road after check out.

The hotel was old but just okay. I saw some type of mucus substance on my nightstand. Hair was found in my shower and shower curtain was filthy.

Very well situated on the I75 corridor and convenient to parks , stadium or beaches. This hotel needs a facelift. The usb ports are non existent and the bathrooms are tiny.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff welcomed us and made sure we were pleased with the accommodations. Everything was clean and well stocked. We loved our room and balcony, and we would gladly stay here again in the future.

The hotel and room was disgusting!! They were renovating construction paper taped to the floor full of dust. It's a safety hazard

We did not get the room as requested during check in. The hotel is presently going through a remodel. Betty, who greeted us, changed the room to fit our needs and put us as far away from the construction as possible. Room is exceptionally clean and very quiet.

Construction is going on due to there was a fire in one of the rooms. Room smells musty due to rhat. You can aee water damage on the wall Drywall is buckling, picture on wall had water damage and still hanging. The property was overbooked and we were suppose to get king bed with balcony and had to get 2 bouble beds with no balcony. Staff is very nice.

Loved it. Rented 2 rooms with balconies. One had a nice view of the pool and the other one had a view of the front parking lot where you could only see the top of the building. Beds were soft. Rooms clean. No complaints.

Had a great trip. Was a little further away for the football stadium than I thought it would be. Staff was great. Got locked out of the room and Maintenace had to break the lock to get us in. The lock slipped back when the door shut. Front desk was great and the Maintenace guy was super funny.

Perfect if your going to visit USF. Nice customer service, everything clean and neat.

It was okay, people upstairs walking hard throughout night and kids running. A roach was in my room.

Gym was good room was pretty good when we 1st checked in. Price, reasonably nice hotel, and convenient location was most impprtant at time of booking and satisfied all well

My stay was OK at the Marriott. Truthfully the beds were not very comfortable (only me on the stay in a double queen bedroom so had to check out both beds), shower drain was very clogged and wouldn't drain, mold on the shower curtain and ironing board needs a new paid (it is like ironing your clothes right on the metal).

Surprisingly it was dirty. There was makeup smeared by the doorknob in the bathroom, the bottom of the door I could wipe off dark spots, the thick white blankets had brown spots on them like they didn't even change them from the last guest, and there was only 2 rags. There was also smears on the roof in the tub, hopefully they werent from roaches. Under the beds was full of dust, and someones old glasses that looks like theyve been there for years. This is after checking in 6 hours late. Luckily, the guy at the front desk was a nice person, and gave me fresh linen and sheets as soon as I asked. Kind of seems like he's used to it, sadly. There was also no free breakfast, just a Starbucks.

I got this hotel mainly cause of the balcony and when I checked in the guy up front gave me the balcony right in front of the entrance, which is literally the worst one and the littlest balcony. And did not enjoy it.

Enjoyed the property with the exception of shower/ tube combination. Needs to be updated. Check-in attendant told me all the rooms were combo type rooms with none being shower only.

Good location kind of hard to find the entry from the road but everything else about hotel is superb. Great staff, very accommodating, would highly recommend.

I had surgery at Moffitt Hospital with a 3-5 day stay. Perfect for us because my wife and I could stay 1st night, then daughter joined us and one would stay in the room with me while the other got a good night's sleep in the Courtyard and rotate every day.

One night stay just don’t like to pay to park car

The customer service team were very prompt in services that I requested in my room, however the assigned room was not one of the best rooms, furniture pieces falling apart, no window view only a view of a roof top. noisy elevator, squeaky floors above my room, hearing people walking across the floor above my room all night.

I am glad that I chose to stay at that hotel. I stayed for 2 nights. Check in was fast, my room was clean and had modern and nice furniture, and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel was also quiet. I didn’t need a car parking so I can’t comment on that aspect. Breakfast was not included. Not a big deal considering how nice the room was!

I love staying here. This time was the only time I can say I had an issue. The staff here is amazing. They are always great so let me say, I'll continue coming. The room was not so great. This is the first time I had an issue with a room here. It smelled weird as soon as I came in but it was not a deal breaker. As soon as you cut on the light to use the bathroom, this constant noise comes on. Annoying but not a big deal breaker for a one night stay. The bedding is what was a deal breaker. There were red spots and hairs on the bedding. House keeping was gone for the evening but they immediately gave me new bedding to put on the bed, which I did. I re-made the bed and it was all good. I've stayed here plenty and this, I hope, is just a one off circumstance. I'll be back because they're customer service is awesome this was the first issue but I hope this doesnt happen again.

I stopped for a night passing thru and I’d say I didn’t want to leave, it was so comfortable and cozy that it felt like home. Would 10/10 recommend and go again anytime.

The stay was great just as they have been in the past. The staff is always courteous and professional. I always search here for any stay because I haven't had a bad experience. I will say I wasnt thrilled about the parking charge now. That being said, since the customer service and rooms are safe and clean, I can deal with it.

Ive stayed in several accommodations in Tampa and this is one of the few that felt safe. Being close to the theme park was very convenient.

In interior of the hotel has recently been redone and is inviting. I had a Cobb salad from the counter and it was very good. I would recommend it.

The Monday morning receptionist, Betty was amazing and helping me figure out my bill. She went over every inch of my bill with me thoroughly. She was very courteous and knowledgeable of everything that was placed on my bill. Thank you so much.

I enjoyed my stay. The beds were more firm than I am use to, but overall a great experience. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

It was very noisy because of the traffic on the highway. Didn’t like that you had to pay extra just to park your car. The room smelled shut up and like pee. Shower had mold in the tile. The room was so humid there was condensation on the doors and walls. The staff was all very friendly.

One elevator for that many guests is an inconvenience with wait times checking in. Not many amenities for the price and food in bistro is overpriced.

Easy access to I-75, was suprised to be charged $10 daily for parking at this type of hotel.

When entered propert it smelled old, humid odor. Place is older, but at least look clean. Hallways look updated and clean. Room was clean, but had humidity order coming from AC also shower had mold in the tile and curtain would not sustain water in pan, which floor would be full of water after shower.

Unfortunately the bathroom had not been cleaned, and there were several clumps of long dark hair on the shower floor and walls. Also, the shower never got hot, just a little warm at most.

We reserved and paid for 2 rooms with balconies a few weeks ago. When we arrived we were told no balcony rooms left so they obviously don’t care about reservations

Not happy with parking changes. The location was not downtown or anywhere special for parking. The AC was also noisy and made for a noise sleep. Shower curtain was too small for shower and water ended up all over floor in bathroom.

I stayed there two years ago. The service was fantastic and the location was convenient for visiting my daughter at USF. Decided to stay there again when coming out for my daughter’s graduation. They renovated since my first stay and it was even better! I loved the layout of the room and everything was so clean! The staff was so friendly and kind.

Shower curtain was so short all water spilled on the floor. Pillows were so uncomfortable. Just not comfortable at all. Plus was charged for valet parking when I parked my own car.

Paying for parking was terrible

The hotel was nice. The room that we stayed in air conditioning was not working that well and the shower was incomplete. Water was all over the floor and the curtain did not come down as if there was a tub there at one point of time. Also the fitted sheet did not fit.

They charge you $10 a day for parking. Even though you have already paid for the room. Also, the bathtub was leaking when I took a shower, so I used one of the towels to mop up some of the water off the floor and just barely mopping the floor with the towel and it was completely black. The only option that I saw was a Starbucks that had to pay, completely overpriced .. The building is old and very dusty. The air conditioning vents were completely dusty and we woke up with sore throats. This is not the quality that we expect from the Marriott, and I did send them an email to Corporate and never heard anything back. We picked this because we like Marriott, and the reviews were good, but I’m not really sure what happened since those reviews were written and we stayed here. There was another group staying there at the same time and had the exact same experience and we will never go back. Thank you
