Exceptional front desk staff socket in bathroom didnt work, there was no plug for the hairdryer within sight of the mirror. No milk for tea - only half and half. You cant make a decent cup of tea with "hot water" - it needs to be boiling. As I went to get a second glass of orange juice, my table was cleared and taken by other guests.

This hotel was very clean and safe - breakfast was delicious- there was a restaurant within walking distance and we were able to go for a walk - the staff was very helpful and friendly 😀

Great spot! Clean, food was good, and staff were friendly. Our toilet was not working properly the first night and it took a couple of calls to the front desk to get it fixed but other than that no complaints. Rooms were spacious and our stay was great. Heads up, you do have to pay for parking.

We stayed here with our football team for a tournament, all the way from Texas. This place was perfect. The kids had fun and so fdid the adults. Rooms were clean, the property was nice.

Had an early flight and this hotel is extremely convenient to the airport - 4 minute drive to rental car return. Very happy with my stay!

We were really pleased with all aspects of our stay. The 2-bedroom suite comfortably accommodated our group, and having a small kitchenette made Grandma especially happy.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast had a good variety and everything tasted fresh. The kitchen area was well-equipped, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely come back.

Everything was up to my expectations and beyond! The Wed. night Happy Hour was a very pleasant surprise. Breakfast was more abundant than most places. A wonderful stay and I'd go back in a heartbeat!!

The hotel is clean and comfortable, with spacious suites. The breakfast has a nice selection. My husband and I will be staying here again when we return for Yankees spring training next year!

Great hotel, had a room with two bedrooms which was great for family travel. Staff was excellent and even gave us a bottle of wine when they found out we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. Wish we could have stayed the full stay we got delayed on the way there and ended up missing 2 nights of our stay. Staff was great to help make sure our booking didn’t get cancelled. Would love to return to this property.

Airport shuttle driver was the best part of this stay. Desk person was surely and unfriendly. No name tag on and was eating her dinner at the front counter She did look up my Hilton Honors information and attached it to the reservation, however, she refused to give us two bottles of water because our status was not high enough. Was unable to provide any information about the local free trolley - had never heard of it. Staff did not make up our room, and when we requested it be done, they said they would send someone up and never did. Had to request clean towels be sent up the next morning. This is my 2nd stay here, but there is obviously a problem finding qualified and freindly people to work here.

Staff was great and improved cleaning once alerted. But, upon initial check in to the room I had a cockroach in the shower and 2 of my towels were covered in black hair.

The house keeping person went above and beyond making our room clean and comfortable. This excellent experience will keep us coming back for future stays.

Check in was bizarre. They seemed to have an issue with me using expedia. I was told "if you booked directly with us this wouldnt be a problem". They did comp some of the parking fee which was not mentioned on the Expedia booking.

Was here for my childs surgery, the room was clean, the 1st shower didnt make a bath and the water kept leaking. Ice machine didnt work but i was able to get ice for my daughters ice pack downstairs. When i checked out i was informed of a $12 parking fee per day which i wasnt told about when i arrived.

My family of 6 stayed for one night and we were extremely impressed. The rooms were super clean, the carpets looked brand new, and the beds were very comfortable. I’m extremely picky about cleanliness, and this hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations. We felt welcomed, relaxed, and well taken care of. I would stay here again in the blink of an eye! Highly recommended!

Daughter and I stayed the night before her early flight home to CA. No complaints at all; great facilities, location, comfort and cleanliness.

Nice staff, free breakfast, very spacious room!

Staff was helpful and nice but hotel is grimy and dingy, towels and bed linens worn out and frayed, carpet is dirty and everything felt “sticky” and dusty. The “smoking area” is also basically the front door entry way so every time you walk in and out you have to walk through the smoke and cigarette butts and spit all over the front walk.

Room was clean and suited all of our needs. We were only there for a quick overnight but our stay was fine.

Clean, look like newly remodeled rooms w/fridge, microwave etc , a lot of USB plug ins which is really nice & quality gym w dual pulley trainer. Breakfast was what you would expect- they have a nice outdoor patio area where you can eat that is covered. Just be careful in the shower- the grab bar is there for a reason-they must have the commando 9000 shower head, the water pressure will knock a lesser person into the wall - but its better than low pressure showers. Would definitely stay again when in Tampa.

Close to Airport. Hotel Shuttle is available after 8.30am on request. Modern clean rooms. Fully equipped kitchen with cleaning materials provided. Shower has toiletries provided.

Convenient location for early airport departures. Pool area is very nice for children and located close to the lobby area. Front counter personnel were friendly and extremely helpful. The lady who was working the desk when we arrived, was excellent!

It was a good experience. We ended up in a suite it was me and one other but the room itself slept 8-10 people it was insane. I was glad about it though because it’s exactly what is needed when my family travel so I’m glad I booked here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I wouldn’t call out any frills but it was consistent if that makes sense to anyone.

The suite was perfect for my parents and my husband and I separate bathrooms was icing on the cake but we still had shared space.

Everything was so accommodating...I walk using a walker and had requested a suite close to the elevator...and the corner suite was perfect. The front desk clerk Trinadad....got us checked in promptly. Breakfast on both days were great it was nice not to have to leave to get nourishment. Will book Homewood again soon even just for a staycation.

Everything was great except for the shower, it felt like I was in a Motel6. Also the knobs on the ac control was missing. Couldn't set a comfortable temperature. Other than that, I will definitely come back . .

I had a very disappointing experience with one of the staff. She was unnecessarily rude when I needed her help. Granted, I was having trouble with one of their policies, but her explanation and response to me was in a very condescending manner and really for no reason at all. She couldn’t have been more cold if she tried.

I have never been more impressed with hotel accommodations like I received at Homewood Suites by Hilton. Although I had to wait an hour before my room was ready in which I only reserved for a king size bed occupancy and when my room was ready I received a two bedroom suite! I was thoroughly impressed and very pleased because it gave me and my daughter accommodations that we thoroughly enjoyed and didn't expect to have. The rooms were spacious the beds were comfortable and I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Room was not clean to Hilton standards. There was hair on the toilet, back of bathroom door and bathroom floor. Top cover on one of the beds in the second room was soiled or stained. Staff corrected it but it was not acceptable for paying over $800.00 for the stay.

We had a very minimal issue with the toilet, called the front desk and the friendly maintenance man was at our room within minutes and fixed it quickly no problem. We loved the pool and breakfast was easily the best free breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. Breakfast carnitas?! Amazing! Along with all the other breakfast staples. Also, I had never utilized an airport shuttle before, but took it at 5:30AM this morning and the driver woman was WONDERFUL Found something and exactly on time. She took us a behind route to skip traffic (there’s some construction for a few weeks) and walked everyone through exactly how to find their terminal. I wish I had gotten her name because she went above and beyond and was so friendly. I hadn’t thought much about this hotel when I booked it, but now if I’m back I’m for sure staying here again!

Honestly, 10/10. Easy to check in, easy to check out, walked across the parking lot and got some food and drink. The room was huge, had a stove and fridge, that i wasn't even expecting. If i come back to Tampa, this is where I will most likely be staying.

Easy access to restaurants and they even had their own food and cocktail hour. Burgers and hotdogs with beer and wine free. Have nice laundry facilities when you’re on vacation but have to do laundry.

The cleanliness of the entire property was top-notch — everything from the lobby to my suite was spotless and well-maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I really appreciated the kitchen area and the cozy living space — perfect for both short and long stays. The staff and service truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. Everyone I encountered was friendly and professional. The property itself is in excellent condition, with great amenities like the pool, gym, and complimentary breakfast. I also loved the location — close to the airport, restaurants, and shopping, but still peaceful and quiet. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tampa!

This was my first time staying at this property/ hotel. We were very pleased with our stay. The front desk staff was amazing. Very pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. No complaints This is my new favorite Hotel ☺️ we will be back.

We reported it right away, but the front desk refused to send anyone to check, offered zero assistance, and completely ignored the issue. No one followed up or tried to relocate us. The next morning, during checkout, the staff was rude, and the manager, Marcel, was incredibly unprofessional—he wouldn’t listen and defended the employee who had been dismissive and unhelpful. The room itself was also in terrible condition: • Leaking faucets • Mold in the bathroom • Light switches randomly turning on and off This stay raised serious health and safety concerns, especially with kids involved. Between the smoke exposure, the mold, and the lack of care from the staff, we felt completely disregarded as guests. If you value your health, sleep, or even the most basic service, do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs.

I told staff the shower leaking they sent maintenance and he said I had to turn harder if I did that I would rip the handle off the wall. Also, the shower was dirty and I wasn’t clean the whole time. I was there no car available when I came in to put my luggage on daddy go find them.

Loved the two bedroom option with kids. They had space to run around in the living area. Two bathrooms and kitchenette was fantastic especially w toddlers who need snacks and milk.

The hotel was great. It was quiet, clean, spacious rooms. The breakfast was great every morning. All the staff were very kind, welcoming, and helpful. There was a lot to do in close proximity to the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our room was like a studio apartment with the kitchen equipped with a microwave, stove, dishwasher, and full size refrigerator, and even a small dining table for 2! The big walk in shower was great, and the bed was comfortable. The sheets and blanket seemed dirty with hair, eyelashes, and even several stains which is why we gave 2 stars for cleanliness. Other than that, the room seemed pretty clean. The staff was professional and friendly, the breakfast was great! The pool was very relaxing, and beautiful, and qe really enjoyed watching the planes fly by! We highly recommend this hotel, and will book again and again!

This is the 2nd time we stayed here in a year. Last time we had a 2 br suites while traveling with our adult sons for a cruise. This time, came with my husband for his business trip. We had a King suite this time. Clean, spacious room, with full kitchen. Comfy bed and pillows. Staff is very friendly also. We like this property because it is very close to several restaurants and things to do, but yet tucked away by the airport. World of Beer restaurant just a quick walk around the building. It is a 5 minute drive to the airport. They do have a shuttle, which we used last time which is very good. A-1 Shuttle Service. We have a car this time and they have a parking garage right next to the property. Grab a ticket when you go into the garage, and when you check in at the desk, they will give you permanent pass for the length of your stay. It is $10/night, which I think is very reasonable. They also have a "mixer" on Wednesday night with free beer, wine, burgers, dogs and potato salad.Breakfast was usual fare. Eggs, bacon toast, bagels, cereal, etc.....

We stayed at this hotel last year during Memorial Day weekend and it was great then. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars was because the breakfast in the morning tasted dried out and reheated from another day. The sausage was over cooked and the boiled eggs seemed as if they were made days in advanced also the pastries tasted dry and old. The food was a lot better last year.

Parking was convenient and easy. Room was great queen and comfortable. Swimming pool was cloudy and tiles above the waterline were black. My husband is a pool guy and said there is no flow to filtrate properly. Walked over to the pump area and could hear it struggling to keep up. Resulting in us, not swimming in the dirty pool. Breakfast was good. Wish they had more meat options our morning they had double pork. We will return again, giving an 8 out of 10 stars

From the rooms to the staff, everything was phenomenal. The wife and I just took a quick two day weekend and the hotel was great. Rooms were clean air conditioner was nice and cold and also has fans on the ceiling which is a bonus. Breakfast was great Would definitely recommend.

Close to everything, Downtown, airport, shopping and dining and not to far from the beach. We loved the layout of the room. We’ll be back soon!
