Everything was great and easy. Checkin was no wait and only took a few minutes. Room was cleaned and as pictures stated. Newly remodeled and very helpful staff. Perfect for a short concert stay!

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Special shout out to Joanne for being so nice and accommodating. My only complaint, which I did not discount any stars for, was that the blinds did not go all the way down to the floor and so they did not block out sunlight in the morning and that side of the room did get warmer. Other than that, the breakfast was great, hotel is clean and the restaurant food was tasty.

This was a great workspace! The desk and living area slightly separated from the bedroom made it a perfect place to focus. And it was nice and quiet! The staff was very friendly and helpful and everything was as expected or better.

The room was very clean, staff at check-in and out were very pleasant! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and were very happy they had last minute availability.

The property in general is clean and well maintained. Unfortunately the room assigned #101 was not to the same standards. It had a humidity musty smell from entrance plus found a dead cockroach and alive little frog croaking all night under the air conditioner, couldn’t sleep all night due to the fact. Finally at 5:30am went to the front desk and a gentleman called Danny handle the situation graciously and moved me to another room, however All I got as an apology was a couple bottles of water and a bag of trail mix..

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The gym was not terribly big but it got the job done. Breakfast was good and the hotel provided a lot of options such as waffles, French toast, eggs, oatmeal, bacon, tea, coffee, donuts, and more. The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel was also in a great location 10-15mins from downtown close to the expressway to travel to St. Petersburg or clear water. Lots of restaurants around as well. Breakfast was pretty crowded on the weekends and there was minimal seating.

The room was bigger than expected, comfortable, and clean. It had everything we needed and it was quiet overnight. Complimentary breakfast was perfect before we hit the road in the morning. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

I didn’t have a chance to check in because of the wrong date and they allow me to make the change after five minutes of paying for the room.

I resent having to fill this in in order to complete a survey. I will not attempt to do surveys that take more than 2 clicks. It’s annoying to get constant surveys. Find another way to manage your marketing.

Everything was great! The bed was super comfortable so were the pillows … the rooms were clean and the shower was awesome! They had breakfast with many options and pretty good coffee !

The reason for the average rating is that some amenities advertised as typical for an airport hotel were lacking. There is no real hotel shuttle service; instead, they will reimburse or arrange an Uber. There’s also no actual bar — the front desk will make drinks, but they are overpriced for what you get. What really bothered me and my friends, though, was the atmosphere created by having Newsmax playing in the common areas. This country is already divided enough politically, and it felt inappropriate for a Hyatt airport hotel serving travelers from all over the country to have headlines displayed like “Shut Your Pie Hole” alongside political commentary and images targeting women. A more neutral news station would have been far more appropriate in a setting meant to welcome guests of all backgrounds and viewpoints. If you prefer to avoid political or highly partisan environments while traveling, this may not be the best choice for you.

was that our room had a very oddly situated bathroom - right at the foot of the beds. Therefore, there was no privacy to use the bathroom. Additionally, the light which I am guessing acted as an exhaust fan as well (?) was extremely loud and was a shade of orange. Again very old fashioned and perhaps on a list for renovations? We stayed on the 6th floor. The most uncomfortable problem were your elevators. That was the worst elevators system of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The doors did not open on the correct floors and sometimes skipped floors. Is this a regular problem?

Breakfast was excellent. I rated our stay with good only bec of the layout of the room. Everything else was excellent. All our needs were met. There was no partition between the bedroom & living room. The open concept does not work if one of the guests in a group snores. Also, usage of light by early risers in the group does not work for guests who are still sleeping.

Place is close to airport. To get to downtown Riverwalk Uber range 10 to 14 bucks very easy to get in and out of main river walk. Place was clean . Staff really nice very quiet compared to other hotels. Swimming pool area was very relaxing. Also had a laundry area wich comes in handy. So you clothes goes back clean in suitcase. Breakfest was included.

When we arrived the woman at the front desk was very apologetic and said she was working on setting up Ubers for another family and couldn’t answer our calls. So they do not actually have a transfer, but instead book your uber? After a very long day of traveling with three kids under 5 it was frustrating

That said, the remainder of the staff was friendly and accommodating, which helped balance the experience. The hotel itself was clean, though the bathrooms were quite small. The breakfast selection was adequate, but it would have been enhanced by the addition of a waffle maker for a fresher option. On a positive note, the hotel’s location is excellent, with convenient access to nearby restaurants and shops.

i came in on a red eye desperate for sleep. Unfortunately my room's AC did not work. i tried to sleep, it took a few hours to realize the room was not cooling. finally after 3 hours of not sleeping, the room was a warm 75 degrees. i went to the front desk, already too late to do anything about it the clerk said they would get the owner / manager in touch to try to resolve something with me. i never heard from anyone. i called two more times and still nothing. its been weeks now. in addition, when i asked for a simple cup of coffee (it was about 30 min after breakfast ended) the staff said, sorry, you will have to go somewhere else. breakfast is over! horrible experience. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Great experience from this underrated hotel. Fantastic staff who genuinelywanted to help, early check in, nice little continental breakfast with lots of options. Definitely a great choice for travelers looking for a place to stay near the Tampa Airport.

The only thing I didn't like was having to use Uber or Lyft. I would much prefer a hotel shuttle, which when I booked said was available. Two of the items on the menu were sold out. There was one item left that I liked and it was absolutely delicious (the chicken wings).

My room was still not ready even after trying to check in after 3pm check in time

The bed was atrocious!!! The sheets were not on correctly or a queen was trying to fit a king! I overheard other guest speaking of the comfort of their mattress. We obviously didn’t receive the same quality. I now have a backache and will need to take Tylenol for the coming days.

The only bad part was our transport from airport, the hotel sent 2 Ubers - there was 4 adults and I child plus luggage which was fine but the one uber driver was incredibly rude - he locked his doors and only put his window down an inch and kept saying he didn’t have room. The other uber driver was nice though and it wasn’t anything the hotel could control, they were embarrassed.

Fabulous hotel!! It was a suite, had a L shape sofa a 70"Tv, a separate side for the bedroom. Bathroom and shower....wow! Even the food at the placery for diner was so worth the price and really good. The breakfast wad reslly good, great selection. Called tge hotel, sent me an uber in a different pickup at the airport, very easy to find. Highly recommend this place.

On our first night the bar was closed because according to the desk clerk he was the only person working. The free breakfast was ok but in our opinion the coffee was horrible. Staff were pleasant.

It was a very good experience overall. Big rooms, the hotel very close to everything and still quiet, friendly staff. The only downside was the horrific elevators, and only one was functional.

A bit unusual in that they use LYFT for airport runs, but it works well and is likely cost effective. I love the spacious rooms, separate desk alcove, spacious walk-in showers and helpful friendly staff; just an excellent hotel overall.

It is a beautiful facility but the good news ends there. We had a double bed room on the 4th flr which had the hardest beds imaginable. So after a bad nights sleep, we were awakened by the sounds of an electric saw going. I wear ear plugs at night and it still woke us early. Complaint to front desk was met with resistance like they didn’t believe us. I asked for a credit of $100 for our poor experience at check out. I was told we would have to wait for it to go up the chain of command. Later in the day they approved the request. I do Not recommend this hotel.

The staff was very courteous and accommodating to my sister needs who has mobility issues.

The room was pretty decent but the toilet paper roll holder was broke and kept falling. Also, it doesn’t state the airport transportation hours on booking sites. I chose this hotel because it had transportation but learned upon arrival that the hours are 5am-Midnight. So I had to Uber to the airport at 4am so I could make my 6am flight. Other than that my stay was fine. Staff was friendly, overall clean and safe place to stay.

The room was in good condition, and the staff was very nice, but most of the housekeeping staff did not speak English. I would suggest, spraying the room for ants. I saw one ant on the coffee table, and about seven more ants around the sink.

My stay was so enjoyable, and the room was the perfect layout for my stay. The staff was so welcoming and did everything to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was a beautiful touch with something for everyone. Highly recommend staying here, and will again when I go back into town.

The room was large enough & looked clean, but we did see a cockroach when I lifted up the coffee & tea holder. The other Negative was that the parking lot was so dark last night you could hardly see the Hotel. The sign was very dim & there weren't really any lights outside.

The staff was very nice and friendly and helpful. The hotel is in walking distance of several restaurants which made it very convenient since they only had breakfast Service, however, they do have a bar too.

There were Roaches in my room!

Bathroom door handle was broken so couldn't close it while using toilet or shower. Little bugs were crawling all around the sink which is in the main part of the room.

Room was in good condition, the setup was weird where the sink wasn't in the bathroom, no trash by the sink, coffee station was odd with no trash, tub drain didn't drain and no hot oe cold water in sink. Shower took 10 minutes at dull blast to get hot water. Staff were friendly, breakfast was cramped, no place to sit to eat, very limited selection and missing some items every morning. Bar very small and limited spirits available. Requested several brands and told they would look in the back to see if they had it. Which they did not. We went elsewhere for food and drinks.

Only after booking did I receive notice that the property is undergoing major renovations from May–September 2025, impacting both parking and the overall guest experience. Nose when I arrived on my floor instantly you could tell that EVERYTHING had been newly renovated, it was stunning! I loved the corridor and when I got to my room I was floored. It was extremely spacious and ALL the features and fixtures were update and very modern. I will definitely be back for sure. The corridor & room made you forget all about the construction that was afoot! I just wish I took photos!!!

Appreciate that the hotel is being renovated but I was not made aware of the construction until after I paid for my reservation. It was an inconvenience to have limited facilities and dodge construction work on site.

Lobby is under going a renovation but all in all everything was great. Good job with the free hot breakfast and room was very quiet

Hotel is being renovated and should be closed during the process. Everything is covered in dust and the public areas and elevators are draped with tarp. The room itself was very dated, especially the bathroom.

Our room was recently renovated and very nice and comfortable. The hotel is undergoing maintenance so there was a lot of construction. The elevator was very slow die to construction. Breakfast was very limited. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Shuttle to airport was great.

My stay at the Hotel was pleasant! Very enjoyable for my son and my mom. I was disappointed at the beginning when I was not able to get a room on the first floor due to the renovations that were taking place, but the hotel representative was very nice about the situation. We were able to make the best of our stay, the location was great for my son‘s appointment, and the breakfast was delightful with a convenient sitting area with additional tables away from renovations. I would come back to this hotel after renovations.

Appears fairly worn although currently being renovated. No safe in room although the room door says there is one. Room itself was large and bed was comfy. Good, strong, hot shower and it didn’t spray water all over the floor like in many other hotels. Crowded in breakfast area due to renovation. Staff was friendly and helpful. Once renovation is complete, this hotel will be much better.

I was notified the hotel was under renovation. I was expecting loud noises but nothing at all. The room was spacious comfortable for my 3 kiddos.

The staff was very helpful but I should have been notified of the construction before I purchased. It would have made a difference. The elevator got stuck with someone in it, the first room had a very dirty carpet and we got moved. That one was better, but it was not the best experience. Very disappointed

Although I commend the support staff for their customer service, the cleanliness of the hotel was less than stellar. The day before my scheduled reservation, I received a phone call from the front desk to notify me that the hotel was undergoing construction and to enter from the back of the building as the check-in area had been moved. Construction notwithstanding, there was a rank smell that permeated through the elevator and the hallway of the floor that I was assigned to (2nd floor). After noticing the conditions upon check-in, during the day of my check-out, I decided to skip the complimentary breakfast and leave early as mt wife's eyes became watery and irritated from the rank smell. I will definitely bypass the place in the future.

This hotel was u see construction and hotels.com didn’t warn me prior to booking which was hotels.com issue in my opinion.

Nice hotel for the night. Close to restaurants, construction didn’t really bother us, parking was a little weird, but not crazy. Staff super friendly, room was nice. Will stay there again.

The ONLY amazing part of our stay was the staff. They were splendid. Be WARNED that this Hotel is under serious construction. Like the front, that pretty fountain picture, nope. Closed and demolished. You will park out back with 87 huge cargo containers and heavy equipment literally right outside. Right next to your car. Workers everywhere. Literally. On lifts 4,5,6 stories up looking into your windows. Probably not on purpose but it’s unnerving. Drills, jack hammers, Sheetrock dust, dirt & plastic in the swimming pool. You name it. Carpet torn off the floor in our room. Pillows like bricks. Seriously. It’s the pillow you want in pillow wars. It was like something out of Final Destination. The original. Right down to workers in elevator shafts with hammers….then saying “yea you use that one. It’s good.” I couldn’t cancel my reservations because I didn’t book through Hyatt…and had to stay through 2 nights of that. Horrible. Nevvvvver again.

It was a jorribly smelling room, construction woke us up. Hammering and drulls at 8:45 am. Expedia shold not construction on the property listed

The pool was closed the day we were there, we booked this hotel with 3 children. We knew there was constriction but no where it told us that the pool would be closed.

Upon check in the staff member was very friendly and was the only good part about our stay. The room smelled of damp and indeed the carpet around the noisy air con unit was soaking wet. The hotel in general has an unpleasant smell and really is a building site. The makeshift breakfast area was made up of three large wooden tables in the conference room, they couldn’t even be bothered to lay a table cloth over them and the breakfast itself was very poor with an extremely limited choice. I would advise to stay well away from this property and book one of the several others in close proximity.

The hotel was conveniently located near the airport and restaurants, which is a nice feature. The hotel is currently under construction, and the noise was enough to send anyone into sensory overload the minute you walked into the hotel. We were able to sleep, but the construction started up again at 8 a.m. on Saturday, which disrupted our plan to sleep in on a long travel day. Parking was also limited due to the construction. If we were made aware of the construction before booking, we would have chosen a different hotel.

The lady at the makeshift front desk was not attentive and I had to repeat myself about six times before she heard my name. It was a very poor forst impression.

Entire property was under construction. No bar. No amenities open. A dirty mess. The check in desk is in the back and is clearly a room retro made for check ins. You’re paying for the Hyatt name but not the experience.

Carpet in our room old and stained and could use serious cleaning. Everything else was excellent regarding the staff and comfort.

We went for the Metallica concert, This property is under construction, the rooms are old, very expensive for the service received, we had issues with the toilet and the hair dryer. We are not complainers, but honestly I do not want to comeback to this hotel again.

I have been charged for a high-class Hyatt facility but received the services expected at a rundown cheap motel. Notice the hotel was under construction wasn't provided until AFTER I booked and paid for my reservation and that's when the hotel sent an apology for construction impacts. I hold Expedia responsible for advertising & booking my reservation without notice of the terrible situation I was actually exposed to (noise from above my room, construction debris cleaning noise from along with the facilities being in a rundown condition. I'm reconsidering using Expedia in the future. It's clear Expedia doesn't want to reveal the condition of the client's facility even though I would have simply chosen another hotel to reserve a room for. Instead, I get ripped off while Expedia gets rewarded. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

Nice and good breakfast

Stayed here for a day prior to taking an exam at prometric. I asked for a quiet located room however my room was just behind the elevator. Most of the night I could hear the elevator being used. I also could hear the planes landing nearby. The room was outdated for my taste personally but it was okay overall. Breakfast was okay as well. Plenty of parking. Easy check in and check out.

Construction going on so just a mess

I am not sure that I actually stayed at the same hotel that was presented on the website. Hotel was under renovation, but I was not informed until after I had booked the hotel and just happened to look at my email en route to the hotel. On hotels.com this hotel was given an “excellent “ rating, this hotel I believe was not even “excellent “ before renovation began. I was very disappointed and therefore did not sleep all night. My daughter stayed up as well looking at the reviews to see if in fact that I did book the wrong hotel. There we found reviews of bed bugs. We immediately looked under the sheets. We laid down fully clothed and waited until morning. What was expected to be a cozy overnighter, turned into a tense overnight stay. Bed was made nicely, but there was some hair on the pillow and the electrical socket would not hold my flat iron plug, so to curl my hair was almost impossible. I never saw a wall plug that the where the plug fit loosely. Chris at the front desk was nice. Room is outdated, air conditioning unit extremely loud and went off during the night and had to be manually restarted. I definitely believe that another Hyatt hotel was shown in the picture.Under renovation should have been listed on website and not an email sent after booking that I may or may not have seen, then the option to cancel should have been given.

The staff at the hotel were very nice, and the breakfast was really good. However, the rooms were not very clean. Unfortunately, the hotel was under renovation, and I wasn’t aware of that until after I booked. Additionally, there wasn’t much parking space available in the back.

Had a spacious suite w a king bed. There was construction at the front of the hotel so we had to use the back entrance but it was not a deal breaker as it was directly by the parking lot w easy uber/lyft access also. The continental breakfast was great! They also offer complimentary uber/lyft ride to airport which was very convenient and appreciated!

We enjoyed our stay, needs some new fittings in this property. Elevators were too old and sounds risky. No microwave in the room and modern hotels do not arrange wash basin in the hotel room, this needs to go inside the bathroom. Coffee machine was too old. Overall great hotel but needs some interior adjustments.

Honestly would give it 5 stars across the board as I'm not hard to please. The only reason i didn't give 5 stars for more is just because the construction on the exterior of the building made it a little noisy during the day (they would finish at 5) and just untidy looking. Great staff! Very friendly and quick to address anything. I would return!

Breakfast was amazing!! Until they had 2 pending charges totaling $1300 and then ended up charging me $700 for a room i already paid for. I called multiple times and left voicemails for both managers. And nothing was done about it. So please watch before you get scammed.

Overall, our stay was fine, I know the hotel is undergoing renovations, I would say that it is needed! The bathrooms were pretty outdated, the bedding was really old and gross. We actually chose not to use anything but the basic sheet, because the quilt looked pretty gross. I hope that they are able to update these during the renovations. Other than that staff and Service were fantastic.

An above-average airport hotel. The pool area looked a bit tired and there was nowhere to change/no bathrooms etc. there. There was a gym but it was very small. Breakfast was OK but a little limited in terms of cereals/breads available. But overall the hotel was comfortable, clean and a short walk from a big shopping center that had lots of restaurants - we recommend the Italian! When we left the hotel booked us an uber to the airport, which was really convenient. This hotel was convenient and good value and I recommend it.

The Staf was excellent and very helpful. I was able to check in early and for me that is a the room was big and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and everything else. We walked to the mall for some shopping and dinner. I will come back 💜

Very comfortable upmarket hotel, perfect for connecting with a flight and enjoying the facilities for the day before flying home. Great staff, great shuttle and lots restaurant with 5 minutes walk.

This property of convenient for a overnight stay

In fact the second room wasn’t even available until 90mins after the 3pm check-in. Spacious rooms, but with incredibly noisy air-con units that seemed impossible to control or turn off. A surprisingly nice breakfast included. Good, free taxi to the airport (5 mins), they book Uber or Lyft on our behalf.

Hotel was clean staff very friendly

Pool.area was relaxing as well and the mint water was the icing on the cake for me.
