The towels were a bit rough and could be softer and fluffier. The ironing board and iron in the room could also be upgraded. Aside from those minor issues, everything was great. The restaurant food was excellent, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. I would definitely consider staying here again.

After spending $400 for a room, it kind of stinks to get socked with a $15 charge for self-parking. partner did not like the bathroom lights for some reason.

Very convenient to the airport and a great high end mall and Raymond James stadium! Clean, nice executive lounge and room service was quick and really good. Only downside was the front desk didn’t know which side of the hotel faced the stadium…very comfortable beds

People who are working in the hotel are very nice and friendly, and location is perfect if you planing to attend concert or game, plenty of restaurants in the area. I really enjoy Kevin Murphy bath products. But overall hotel itself is old and require some maintenance, carpet doesn't feel clean and no slippers provided. Swimming pool also was't clean if you planing to swim. Shower is very old and I also found someone hair in the bed and on the towels... Bottle of water in the room cost $8. It looks like a nice place, but doesn't meet a basic standards for good hotel. And keep in mind free shuttle operating every 30 min, I wish I knew before heading to the airport, so ended up taking an Uber.

Only complaints about the room is the water pressure (too low) in the shower and takes a good 2-3 minutes till water gets lukewarm.

I fedu ted a star because there is a wifi charge of $15/day unless you download the app, another username, another password and account. Marriot thinks this is ok, but I don’t.

This is a great hotel with a great location. I love that it is connected to the mall and lots of dining options. The mall is top tier too. We used the airport shuttle to take a to and from the airport! My only complaint is that the rooms a slightly dated and the water pressure in the bathroom was rather low.

Clean and the staff was wonderful! The only negative is that you HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING NOW! It use to be free. It would be good to add this to all sales platforms (Hotels.com, Expedia, etc.) as it is per night.

I liked that it was close to Raymond James Stadium. Old, outdated, no mini-fridge in room, no dial tone on phone, no fan anywhere, crumbs on carpet by the window, crooked lamp shade upon walking into the room. Just not up to my standards. Overpriced by 3 times just because a show was in town.

There was confusion about the full breakfast that we prepaid for at the beginning and we had to get Hotel manager involved to resolve it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is very basic and had nothing we would eat. Instead we ordered from the breakfast menu. I would suggest not to prepay for breakfast which included “buffet” when booking as it turns out more expensive and limited than just ordering from the menu.

Lovely space and comfortable rooms. It's located next to a mall which was odd but it still felt safe and secluded. Heated pool with pool-side room service was nice! No real complaints. Be nice if breakfast was offered as the restaurant is pricy.

When I first arrive a staff help me with bags which I had a lot. The room was what wanted and every morning the room was cleaned ?. I worked out in the Gym 2 mornings .Every thing top notch. It was a plus that International Mall right here. Every day I can try something different. It was my Birthday week I couldn't ask for anything better. Thank u

My stay at The Renaissance was horrible from the start unfortunately. The shuttle bus took 1 hr to pick me up from the airport. The front desk associate Natalia gave me the incorrect room and wouldn’t change it. The room was very dirty. Bathroom was unclean with hair and dirty cloth shower curtains. The employees on the night shift were unprofessional and had an attitude. The day employees were very different. Nice and professional. The night shift associates made the property seem like it’s being ran by high schoolers. The property is nice aesthetically. The rooms are overpriced. It’s not worth what you’re paying. Honestly you’re paying for the location bc it’s connected to a mall. Please save your time and don’t come here because they ruined my vacation.

Nice room, spacious, clean. Daily housekeeping. Pool and fitness center facilities are well maintained. Front desk/parking staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant and room service food is delicious with prompt service. The only downside is the parking fee, no bathrobes in rooms and no fan in bathroom. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Would return.

Rhiannon made our stay exceptional. Her sunny disposition on the phone when we requested early check-in & late check-out was a delight. She went above and beyond with a gift of prosecco, fresh fruit, truffles & petit fors to ensure our anniversary celebration was special. She is a gem & the Tampa Renaissance is lucky to have her! Everything about the property in the experience was fantastic. We will definitely be staying here again next time we have a tournament. All of the staff members were extremely pleasant to deal with. The rooms were comfortable and super clean. We enjoyed the pool area too. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel and all of the food was exceptional. We also had one meal at the mall and it took us just three minutes to walk there. There were several options so it was very convenient.

The staff were fine, and the facility was nice, but I had to switch rooms because my neighbors were partying at 1am and the new room had pet dander in it, which I am highly allergic to, so I left the property at 2:30am and drove 2.5 hours home.

Breakfast was soggy due to the containers, steam evaporating, and water settle into the food. I wish a little bit more selection would’ve been great. The staff was outstanding no complaints. I would give the cleaning crew five stars. They helped out with everything that was needed and very prompt. When it came to the bathroom, I would say the fan wasn’t working to take the steam out of the bathroom. It got really hot in there. The water was not hard enough. I wish we could’ve smoked outside is a great area. Unfortunately it’s not smoking, though. You have to literally stand outside the hotel to smoke.

The staff are incredibly friendly. The courtyard and lobby are lovely places to spend time and the food at the restaurant exceeded expectations. The airport shuttle took a long time to reach us despite calling into the front desk. Also did not expect a lack of late night room service, but there is premade food for purchase to make up for it.

I did still give 3 stars because hotel staff were professional, it was very very clean, the pool was lovely, as was the facility otherwise. The airport shuttle was efficient and, interestingly, they allowed us to use our car seat indicating we had to install it ourselves due to insurance. Which is good, we know how it works but its funny they have this caveat yet provide those same children with such a suffcation hazard to sleep in.

Room was great for our stay close to the airport. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The kids liked the pool and the hotel has a well equipped gym. We loved that it connects to the mall and we were able to shop and eat without needing to drive.

Good convenient location by the mall. Close enough to take a walk to the ball fields to catch a game. Staff is okay but not too engaged and not approachable. “Good morning”Hello” when passing by would go a long way. The room didn’t have much of a view but we didn’t stay in the room long anyway.

Beautiful property adjacent to large mall, which was great to explore and pass the time while I was there. Room was large and well-appointed.

Excellent location and right next to an upscale mall with tons of dining and shopping options. The hotel is immaculate and the room smells so clean when you walk in; it's wonderful. Drinks were great in the evening, lobby has tons of niches to sit in and there's a great open area terrace that you can relax in during the day or night. The gym is well equipped and I got a great workout there. The towels could have been a little softer but that's the only negative I could come up with. Great location, great hotel, friendly staff... will visit again!

We had an amazing time at the Renaissance in Tampa. Everyone was very courteous, kind, and helpful from the very first time we got there the valet hotel desk, staff room, service bar, and restaurant. The hotel was in excellent location we enjoyed doing that the pool and the bar service. also very happy to report. We had the best Long Island iced tea ever. Big shout out to the bar server from Chicago with the green glasses. I feel bad we didn’t get her name. Thank you. Enjoyed our stay the Moores.

Great place to stay close to the Airport and Westshore area. Hotel next to the mall is an added bonus. The lounge was also great but its not open all days so we couldn’t take advantage of it.

Lovely place for a family stay

The right place to stay for shopping at the International mall. What you would expect of a high class hotel. Only negative was you could hear any noise in the hallway and showers being used in another room.

Close to the Tampa airport, and also a shopping mall-with several restaurants.The property is nicely appointed and quiet. Oddly the parking is free, but the bottled water in the room is 8 bucks each. It’s perfect for a sports event, although a little expensive.

The property itself was nice. Had it not been for one incident, I would have rated it higher. In the night of our stay, 2/08, we woke up at 4am to an alarm in the stair well saying there is an emergency and to exit the building. After waiting out in the dark for 40 minutes, the alarm eventually went off and everyone standing outside went back to their rooms. It was not until the next morning that we were informed of a fire and was told it was not a drill. I am glad we were made to exit, so that isn’t my issue. My issue is that had our room not been by the stairs, we would not have heard the alarm. In fact, many guests slept right through it. My other issue is that not a single hotel employee came outside to explain the situation. We were confused, standing outside, and when everyone went in, it was near impossible to catch someone to explain. I was unable to go back to sleep because we still were unsure of what the “emergency” was until next morning. There are other things that come to mind in addition to a potential fire, so imaginations can run wild. Especially when you have your children with you. So, I am rating this lower due to communication and concerns that if the fire escalated, many guests may not have heard the alarm and could have been in danger.

The hotel is very nice and welcoming. There is Mall next to the hotel & cheesecake factory is attached to it. This area is safe and about a 6 minute drive to the airport. The hotel provides free airport shuttle. I would most definitely stay here again.

My car got hit by another car while waiting for valet. They were busy but only had one person working valet. I checked in and after an hour got a phone call to come downstairs. I went and they showed me the huge gigantic dent. They wouldn’t even compensate me

Grate place to stay, close to airport and connected to the posh shopping mall. They have transport to TPA airport, although we hired a car. It's an easy place to stap with very comfy beds. But the family opposite let their kids run around the hallway at midnight. The hotel used to be better soundproofer, they seem to now have a gap below the main door (thiner carpet or different threshold) so lots of noise. I do wo Der if it passes fire regs. Anyway everything else is great.

We only stayed for one night so we could catch our cruise the next day but staff was easy, friendly, everything went smoothly. Breakfast was well prepped, flavorful and had a variety of options for everyone. Check in and out was smooth, the room was clean and all was quiet. Will stay again in the future!

The property and rooms were quite nice and the staff was exceptional at resolving a problem. However, the noise level was too much to ignore. Loud music at 3am from the neighboring room the first night, but the house phone didn't work. I had to call on my cell. They sent security immediately. They moved me to a different room the next night and handled the transfer of my bags.That went very smoothly. Great! The next night more music and the AC units were extremely loud. If you sleep well with loud noises you will like this hotel. All others should pass. Also, no complimentary breakfast at these prices? The in room coffe machine was missing the part to hold the pod and the coffee dowstairs was horrible. Again, the staff was fantastic but I can't abide the noise level.

The property was nice. However, basic amenities in the room itself were not up to par. The TV was not working the first night, and the AC blew right onto the head of the bed. It was hard to wind down for the evening with no TV and everytime the AC cycled on I was blasted with cold air to the face while I slept.

You’re right at the mall so it is walkable to a lot of dining. The staff was great. And even with Hurricane Milton the property was well kept, friendly staff, and accommodating to our late check out even with a full booking on the day of checkout. Highly recommend.

I had an appointment in Tampa so the property was recommended. Although I did not appreciate someone coming into my room while the sign was on the door and I was out, I found the property uniquely designed and convenient for my travels.

Our air did not get colder than 72. We like it much colder.

We got in really late on a Thursday night and the receptionist kept saying that we didn’t get any perks because we booked with a third party. The sheets are super rough and loud and the fridge made a high squeaking noise all night long. Terrible experience.

Stayed here for the Zach Bryan concert due to the proximity to Raymond James stadium. Booked a suite, but on arrival we were upgraded the Presidential Suite! Excellent room...only issue we wished we were staying longer.

Excellent! We had a great time. I had no idea this is located at the Mall.
