Been coming for years, location is great Need a better and bigger patio to smoke, in the past, restaurant used to be really good.they used to offer unexpensive buffets , they don't no more, they gotten more expensive on there food

Rusty water in the pipes. Digital code to room door was very difficult to use and completely unsecure. Anyone could have the codes to these doors.

Everything was great. Room, Staff and the Restaurant had really good food. Thank you all.

Problems with the wifi and didn't get towels till next day. Everything else is good.

I had to wait 4 hours for my room to be ready. Bed sheets were not on & no towels.

Mean when I got to my room the battery for the lock ran out but the staff helped out and we’re understanding. They were all helpful tho right my stay and when I left even helped by calling a cab for me, bout to come back to the same hotel because the food was also very good.

I always stay at Velario when i’m in Tijuana. Check-in was fast and friendly. Staff and restaurant employees are also always very friendly. Very good food for a good price. Special thanks to the night clerk, David. David is always warm and very helpful to the guests. We had some late night problems and David was quick to help and assist us. Thank you David. See you again very soon.

It was ok, it’s my go to spot and been there before. Make sure in requesting a closer room available, if not they’ll put you all the way in the back top or downstairs level depending the vacancy and check 1st if your remote works to that little TV mounted on that wide room ..

Clean , spacious rooms. The staff is top notch, restaurant makes a killer chilliquilles..and a wide range of amenities, for select rooms, youll get what your looking for , jacuzzi, fridge, etc.

Staff was very courteous, clean room and property. Nights were restful and no loud music or noise at night. Was very pleased and stayed an extra day.

Room wasn't very clean. If you're looking for a quiet place to sleep, this is not it. I left after 1 night

Simple I will not stay here again. To start when I check in the guy was rude. I had to wait 1 to get out rooms because they were cleaning the rooms. I got there at 3:30pm got all rooms by 4:30. The floor in the room was dirty you can see hair and shoe print in the floor. At check out when they check our room and charge me for a water that we did that drink or touch we all had our waters from outside the hotel . But I check out at 6am I did not feel arguing

Very clean and organized hotel. Staff are warm and friendly. The breakfast is fantastic. Very safe and quiet hotel with a secured private parking lot for the guest. I will definitely return. Special thanks to David on the night shift. Also special thanks to the maintenance guy with tattoos. I don’t know his name but he is very friendly and helpful with all my hotel requests

I thought the place would be in an oh ok area but it wasn’t I was trying to surprise my wife but as soon we saw the surrounding area it had hookers all around also looked very dangerous to even take a walk around their thus we didn’t even check in due to this we ended up booking a different hotel I wouldn’t even think about staying here as it looks like the hookers use this hotel

Convenient stay. AC worked, TV worked. Towels available and hot water in the room. I will return.

La cama es de las más cómodas en las que he dormido, y los detalles en la decoración crean un ambiente relajante. Todo está impecable: el baño, la iluminación, y la limpieza diaria es de primera. La ubicación también es excelente, muy conveniente y segura, con fácil acceso a todo. Además, el servicio al cliente es de un nivel que pocos hoteles ofrecen — se nota la dedicación del equipo en cada detalle. Definitivamente recomiendo el Hotel Velario a cualquiera que busque una estancia cómoda, segura y con un servicio excepcional. ¡Sin duda volveré!

We did not get room reserved and there were no remote for ac and tv didn't work. Plus didn't give the massage that was promised in reservation too

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Velario. The location was perfect—close to everything and just a short distance from the border. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and comfortable throughout my stay. It felt safe and well-managed, and I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tijuana

Lugares bonitos limpio cercas de muchas cosas. Lamentablemente en la noche se ve un poco difícil la calle pero ya que estés adentro está bien.

Not costly, and close to border

We arrived on Friday Sept 19 afternoon. The young lady at the registration desk was not friendly. She was cold and seemed angry toward us. But the other staff were fantastic. Special thanks to David. David was warm and friendly every time we saw him. Thanks to the morning masseuse who was very friendly too. We enjoyed the breakfast at your restaurant and the waiter was very friendly as well. I wanted to give 5 stars but the attitude of the young lady at the registration desk was not good

Easy to get to tge cathedral and shopping stores, obviously is not closer to plaza rio where the nice shopping stores are but its convenient

Very clean, hot water and strong water pressure. Also very cold AC offered. The pillows are a bit too hard and thick for me, but otherwise everything else was great.

I had reservations for a king size bed and we got a queen size bed and it was horrible! Super hard and uncomfortable! The room was ok the ac didn’t work I told the front desk and it wasn’t fixed the window only opened a couple of inches

Good service at the front desk, staff was friendly. However, the bed was incredibly stiff. The pillows were also very thick and firm which made it difficult to get comfortable. To top things off, there were construction sounds nearby at 5am. I don’t recommend this place. But for the price I guess it’s ok.

My fiancé and I went to have dinner and breakfast at the terraza it’s really good and quiet, drinks 10/10. Customer service was excellent too, The only thing that I didn’t like was that in the room they had a folder to see the services and looked old and dirty. But everything else was fine.

The room was 2 floors undergound in the basement. Internet did not work

check-in was fine, room was clean. they ask for a $10 deposit that is returned in the morning. No soap or shampoo holders in shower so everything goes on the floor. I think when I stayed here 6 months ago that room was the same. Minor but very inconvenient. I would still stay here again

The room is super clean and very quiet. All furnitures are up to date and new. Most of all they have the best shower with strong water pressure and love their glass door.

My stay in velareo is always memorable I'm satisfied with customer service and how convenient it is from the boarder. Price of the do go up and down base on my stays and my reservation. Just hope they give you a discount for returning customers.

This is a nice hotel with very nice staff. But remember this is Tijuana, ZONA NORTE. If you come to this hotel, enjoy yourself and do not complain about anything. If you are not happy you should have paid for a more expensive hotel somewhere else.

I recently stayed a couple nights at the Hotel Velario. The location was perfect for me, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the price couldn't be beat. I also love that they have their own gated parking lot, and the parking is included! I plan to stay there next time I am in Tijuana.

I like going this hotel because it's very convenient and close to all my destination purposes. I don't need to go far to eat they have bar and restaurant inside the vasinity and very secure. You will definitely feel safe while checked in at velareo hotel.

This was one of the horrible experience ever checking in unfortunately I had to pay for an extra room which was already paid, but the reception is from the Velario was ensuring that the second room was not paid when in reality it was I reached out to Hotel customer service. Hopefully this will get resolved, and I would like to get my refund.

Safe place to stay. Average hotel with average amenities. Checked us in to 3 different rooms that had other guests in them. Door code wouldn’t work on the new room. Got woke up by smoke in the morning. Not happy about that.

A very clean and quiet property. It is close to everything being secure and safe. Nice little restaurant and very nice staff. The rooms are large and have privacy. It is a gem. A+

Got a weird call at 11pm from the hotel saying that hotel was full and they were going to give me a full refund . Got thing we were already inside the room and decided not to open de door.Couldn’t really sleep with my girlfriend and cops around the area are very corrupted.

I love Velario hotel! the place is secured & gated with 24/7 security. The hotel is walking distance from the many bars & clubs perfect for the night life. the staff is very nice they offer many things like taxi, spa & they even have a nice patio with nice decore and lights. The food is delicious with wonderful chiefs! Very peaceful will def stay here again! Thanks Velario for a great time!

Great staff

Stopped staying at the property many years ago and decided to give it another chance and i was impressed with avenida revolución its safe for tourists again. The property is clean its a litle outdated but its not bad.
