The only criticism I have is that there were several areas on the floors in the hallway in the rooms where it appeared there were sinking spots that need to be addressed.

If you need a place to crash right off the highway, this is it, just stay on first floor. Hilton needs to clean this place up, so their amazing staff has the proper tools they need.

They only clean the rooms every other day. I was not told this. On the day they should have cleaned my room, it was not clean. I complained to the front desk and i finally got the room cleaned on my 3rd day of my 5 day visit. My phone did not work at all in the room. Maintenance came to look at it and said they could not fix it as they would have to take the whole bed apart. Very concerned about not having a hotel phone, even though I had my cell. Very unhappy.

Room was dirty- mold and mildew in the shower and shower pan was slippery. Also, they charge $8 a day to park your car. This is Tinley Park, mid socioeconmic and ghe parking lot shares with Texas Roadhouse and Jumbo Crab. It's a joke. Save your $$ and stay somewhere else.

The track for the glass shower door was visibly broken and didn't keep the door shut nor prevent water from going on the floor outside the shower, and the light on either side of the vanity mirror flickered like a strobe light so much so that it gave me a headache. There was a condom on the shelf under the TV and no full length mirror which a traveling female definitely needs. The bed was comfortable and linens were clean. The highlight was the pleasant and professional staff.

No free breakfast, it was $16.50 per person. The pool was broken, my room had a broken handle in the bathroom. Old run down hotel. 200 dollars per night is my problem. I will never stay at hilton garden inn again. I am going to tell everyone I know. This was a pathetic price per night. I would get free drinks and appetizers in down town Chicago. Just a terrible weekend

It was ok. For 300.00 a night I expected a bit better. Well upon getting settled in we encountered the fridge was not working. Made trip up to the front desk and Told them about it.. they brought one to replace it. The bathroom had no exhaust fan to expell the humidity from the shower. Toilet seat was very loose..

The best thing about the room was the shower had great flow, unusual in a hotel room. Sadly the list is long of what was not as it should have been. There was mold on the shower wall and soap dish, the cabinet for the refrigerator would not close all the way, the light in the bathroom had a horrible buzz, the bathroom door would not close, when anyone above us showered or flushed it sounded like a waterfall in the wall, and the walls and ceiling were so thin we could hear every step above us and every conversation in the hall. Needless to say, we will not be staying there ever again.

Didn’t enjoy this. They tried charging me for a new room when I already had a reservation and paid $390 dollars. Room was dirty, shower was filthy, then when I went to go check out there was a confusion of where our room was supposed to be. I checked my bank account after we left and they charged me for 2 incidental fees when it should have been one charge or $30 it was 2 $30 charges.

Location was nice. Front desk lady was very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, there was mold on the ceiling throughout the bathroom. Room service knocked at 8am to try to clean our room. We asked them to come back later due to checkout not being until noon. They proceeded to come two more times between 8 and 11. The power also randomly went out like 3 times. Not for very long and not sure if it was the hotel's issue or the electricity in the area. However, the weather was clear that night.

Ice machines don’t work on each floor, AC is out in lobby, water leak in roof at back door dropping into a bucket. Staff doesn’t quite know what they’re doing with check ins and taking payment. It takes forever to process anything, they are nice and courtesy but definitely check your itinerary for property costs as they may charge more unexpectedly and you need to address it asap. They also don’t give us breakfast vouchers as promised, our group all had to ask for them each day.

This is the third time we have stayed with this property. It seems to be heading in a different direction than when we first stayed. The staff is nice but seems to move at their own pace. The bar closed early and all the staff felt like it was our pleasure they were helping us. Even to a point of pushing gratitude cards at us and insisting we fill them out. There was always someone standing at the front desk and it took forever to get help. When we did get help, it was very nice but staff seems over worked. Property was clean.

The property and staff were absolutely fantastic and helped me deal with Expedia… Expedia on the other hand was awful. I got to the hotel at 7pm to check in and Expedia was supposed to have a Virtual Credit Card already loaded for the property. They did not do that and I had to go through their AI help service for 10-15 minutes until I could finally chat with a real person. That real person then contacted the hotel, then called me and put me on hold for 15 minutes, then called the hotel again and finally got it figured out. The issue was that the bill should’ve been $94.84 and Expedia’s virtual credit card amount was for $94.86 so it was not working. They couldn’t accept it because they would’ve then lost out on $0.02!!! The whole ordeal took 48 minutes from when I should’ve been able to check in, to when I was finally able to check in. It was due to no fault of the hotel and their staff was very helpful in getting it resolved. Expedia’s customer service took way too long to resolve the issue, and it was made even worse by discovering it was due to 2-cents…

We found a bug in our bed. It was a bug bed we are fairly certain. It was thanksgiving night I was with my children and had to check out due to this issue. The front deer was very unhelpful and refused a refund.

The nearby area is under construction, but the hotel itself is in fine. Several nearby restaurants, but most need a car for travel. For those who are runners or walkers, there is a nearby large Forest Preserve green space with paved paths.

It’s a 40 minute Uber to go and the venue was nearly impossible to meet up with ride drivers…lots of gouging to try to get back to hotel. Minimal and basic room with ancient air conditioning.
