Great hotel, away from the noise and no parking fee.

The staff assisted me with my bags all the way to my room, the at the front desk is very helpful explaining everything about my stay.

The bath and the atmosphere

The parking was great and very convenient. One thing that really bothered me was the service during breakfast. While we were eating, a waitress came over and told us that the buffet would be closing in ten minutes. However, she said, “Hey, we are closing the buffet in ten minutes.” I felt this was far too casual and unprofessional for guests dining at the hotel. A more polite and courteous approach would have been appreciated. I found her tone disrespectful and inappropriate for a hospitality setting. As a paying guest, I expected a higher standard of professionalism and customer service.

The room was clean and the bed was very soft. I like that I get free parking and there r restaurants and super market near by.

the breakfast was too Japanese oriented. Usually in California I expect fruit and granola and yougurt which were not very available here.

The TV selection/programming available does not have digital/Apps mode to select networks such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney, Prime etc; even Choice hotels I've stayed in recently have these facilities available. In this day & age the above is essential. Other than that, the hotel is well located, quiet, has adequate free parking & well maintained.

I found the stay at Miyako Hotel quite enjoyable. The room was a nice size and clean. The bed was comfortable. Love the Toto toilet!!! Self parking was easy and accessible. I did not try the on site dining but it looked good. I also did not try the on site spa. Overall a very nice hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Wonderful all around. Spacious room, excellent bathroom with huge shower deep tub combined, delicious restaurant, and great Japanese American breakfast buffet. With 2 kids in tow we were very comfortable.

They charge $6.50 for a 12oz cup of coffee. The breakfast buffet was ok, but very expensive.

Absolutely wonderful hotel great location great customer service and the rooms are beautiful and big. Also best part of all is the bidet in the bathrooms and large showers and soaking tub.

Great hotel not far from LAX airport. Very clean but a little worn and dated. Think 1990. Rooms come with clean Japanese soaking tub and side shower. Mornings are a little loud due to adjacent bathroom water use but not enough to wake you. Japanese restaurant is at the lobby level so there is a heavy food smell when you arrive that you might not be expecting. The restaurant is good and convenient and has a full bar. I'll likely stay again but the daily rates are a bit high. Expect $290 a night, probably should be more like $180 or slightly less a night.

We had breakfast there and it was not good. The eggs didn't taste right, I don't think they were freshly cracked. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but we arrived at dinner time and it smelled good so maybe dinners better

Clean rooms but dated . Hall carpet was dated and old . Needs replacement . Staff still hiding behind Covid masks. I guess for international hotel protecting staff ? Breakfast was expensive for what you receive .

For some reason there was knocking all night long. Around 230am, it got even louder for about an hour. It sounded like shoes tumbling in a dryer. I couldnt sleep much but the room over all was great

It’s relatively clean. The ac doesn’t cool the room, we had to ask them to bring us a fan. The employees are nice and helpful. It’s convenient.

Clean facility. Kind staff..The bed was super comfortable I was in town for a work event and my rental car battery died as I was getting ready to head to the airport. Enterprise was going to charge me $60(and an hour wait) to come jump it but the kind guy at the front desk called one of the employees, Moose, to come jump my car for me. They were both so helpful. I was able to catch my flight in time because of those kind souls.

I loved our stay there. It was clean, wuiet and exceptional. The website was showing there was a jacuzzi tub which was not true tho. But other than that the setvice was exceptional. From check in, housekeeping , breakfast buffet. I love it. The bed and the mini terrace was perfect. The bathroom even tho it is not jetted tub, it was huge and deep. The water pressure wS strong even tho we were on the top floor. The only thing missing is the microwave - have to pay extra 35$/ night for it on top of the expensive price already. There arerobes and slippers but only 2 even tho we have 3 persons booked. Water was just 2 not 3. Those little things. And there was no toothbrush provided. But love their bidet, heated seat. The buffet even have to go cups provided. The spa was amazing! I could have stayed there the whole day. And the massage was heavenly. Almost extended it from 50 mins to 90 mins. I will be back for the spa for sure. It was a relaxing stay. One of the highlight of our trip.

The only thing good was the bathrooms had a really nice shower and deep bath in the executive room but thts it Staff was incredibly rude on the phone when I called from my room I was polite and they acted like I shouldn't be calling at all I had an issue with my ac not working when I got there and some guys fixed it wich was annoying but I didn't mind but the lady in room service told me there was nothing wrong at all very rudely she must be miserable but any ways it got fixed the guys even told me it wasn't working correctly and the lady at the front talked to me like I was stupid and shouldn't have even bothered to get it fixed also there was trash underneath my bed from previous stays I toook pictures as well there was an old Mac and cheese underneath I feel like for the price I paid of the highest room underneath the bed should definitely be clean also the restraunt was so mediocre the food was mediocre the staff were unnatentive to me and my fianve but to ppl in suits they were there immediately I had to get up and ask twice for the check because I was being patient and already waited and checked my watch for 15 minutes after they had taken all my dishes and told them I was ready executive room literally comes with nothing except the bed TV and mini fridge and a high floor level no spa acces no massage or anything like tht just a typical room nothing special. I've stayed at Marriotts with a similar level or better honestly.

Also the ac after running 4 hours it flickered and showed a service alert on the t-star screen. Did not tell staff till checkout as AC was running but not to its potential.

My stay at the Miyako Hotel was a pleasant experience. I’ve stayed here in the past and as always, their hospitality is outstanding. The room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable, and it was so quiet. I really appreciate that the noise level was at a minimum, so it made it easy to get a goodnight sleep. The biggest perk for me was their deep soaking tub. There aren’t too many hotels that offer this, so it’s a nice treat. I love that they have spa treatments and a restaurant on site. Next time I visit I’ll have to book a massage & try their sushi.

We were doing a road trip seeing friends and family in SoCal, so we just wanted a comfortable place for the night. This hotel exceeded all expectations. More than just a convenient place for a road trip, it’s a welcoming upscale and relaxing hotel. With the Japanese traveler in mind, the room had a Japanese bath, bidet, and even Japanese TV stations. Also our dinner at the restaurant served innovative sushi and other creative approaches to Japanese standard dishes. Highly recommended

Additionally, regarding the “Japanese TV channels” mentioned in the hotel guide/information, I couldn’t find any channels that seemed to match that description.

It was unacceptable and required me to take my luggage back to the front desk to get another room. The odd part is that the front desk person insisted that the first room was accessible or handicapped which is not correct as a handicapped person wouldn’t be able to climb into the deep bathtub. The front desk was courteous and helpful but the first room assignment was ridiculous.

The A/C was very good- quiet and even distribution of air. The upgraded room to a suite was just great and breakfast while we hv to pay at 20% discount was a good mix of Japanese and western fares. I love the Japanese breakfast- clean and flavorful.

We decided to do a staycation while attending the 2nd Annual Sake Festival at the hotel on Saturday. We didn't want to day drink and drive back home to West LA, so we booked a one-night stay here for $225, including taxes, on Expedia. There's plenty of free self parking, which is just great. Valet services are available if you need them, but we didn't. For that room rate, I really didn't expect much, but the Deluxe King room was massive! Very clean and just gorgeous! Large bathroom with a shower and tub area separate from the bathroom sink and mirror and Japanese toilet. There was every amenity you could think of in the bathroom, and lots of towels. After dinner and drinks at the hotel, we took a soothing soak in the bathtub, then wrapped ourselves in the plush robes, which was very nice. The king bed was large and comfy, with 6 pillows and very nice linens. There was a living room area with a couch, table, desk, and a separate little bar area with a sink and faucet and microwave. The only downside was the room temperature, as the hotel has central a/c, which you cannot individually control. Engineer brought us a box fan so we could sleep comfortably that evening, as it was otherwise too warm.

HVAC issues. Changed rooms to get A/C. 2nd room also no A/C. We were told it wasn't working bc we took a hot shower. Poorly handled.

1. My last trip, there was no hot water in the room and the TV didn't work. 2. This trip, there were no bath towels in the shower, the TV didn't work and when the person in the next room turned on the shower it was so loud it felt like an airport runway. Also, there was no ironing board or iron provided. Management needs to take note of this...

The hotel definitely requires a renovation. We found a contact lense inside the hand towel tray. The chairs in the room are very dated and partially worn off.

Our rooms are always clean and stunning. The only down side for me is the dearth of pillows. I like two pillows so I can read propped up in bed. I know they would have brought me a second pillow if I had only asked, so next time we stay in this marvelous hotel, I will do that. Then absolutely every detail will be perfect!

The hotel’s bar is horrible. The bartender gave a wine recommendation, but it needed lots of aeration to make it drinkable. Yikes

Stay was great til we had to leave early in the morning with the power off. Getting ready in the dark was a challenge. An hour later power still wasn’t on when we left. Front desk (older gentlemen) didn’t say a word to us.

The property lost electricity both nights and the restaurant was closed in the morning. The customer service was really bad as well.

Room is nice with balcony. Good location with no loud noises outside. Peaceful. The only issue i had was one of the housekeeping lady (its either the cleaning lady or the person in charge of housekeeping), she opened our door while we were inside the room and the door even had Do Not Disturb sign hanging. I rushed to the door and was able to ask her what's going on, she said she was checking something. Kinda fishy though. But there is a Safe to put your valuable things in.

This place is quite wonderful. The interior is exceptionally beautiful. Their spa services are also truly amazing. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. However, the only minor issue was that the air conditioning in the room was not functioning.

The exterior and interior were gorgeous. The room was comfortable and unique. Cleaning staff was prob the best I’ve seen in years. The neighborhood surrounding the building was definitely undesirable, but not totally unsafe. Wish they had a bigger gym and pool area. Would stay here again.

I do have one suggestion, the smoking area is placed right where you would walk to your car in the parking lot, and since many of the guests seem to smoke, I have to walk through the cloud of smoke. I was hoping there was a better place to have the smokers .

There is a Japanese-style bath, which I use when I have business or personal event in the Torrance area.

From the city ?? Maybe At first I thought it is not deal. However, it was big issues. Also there was construction..going on and Very noisy.. during the stay.. I couldn’t sleep very well and even I couldn’t take a shower and use bathroom until 4;30 am..

However, there were two major issues during my stay. First, the water was completely shut off after 11 PM. The front desk said it was due to a city issue, but it really disrupted the experience—especially since I booked the room for the Japanese-style bathtub. Second, the in-room landline randomly rang in the middle of the night, which was unsettling. It may have just been a one-off glitch, but still worth noting.

We ordered sushi from the onsite Japanese Restaurant which I promptly threw up an hour after eating it. I do not recommend the restaurant.

Very clean hotel from the moment you enter. Japanese style bathroom with washlet. Daily room service included with room charge compared to other hotels that charge extra for the service. Lots of parking on hotel property and across the street. Parking was free which was a bonus. Restaurant in hotel was a little pricey but food was excellent. Small shopping center about a block away.

Great quality for the price point. It felt like a luxury hotel despite paying Comfort-Inn prices. Ultramodern Japanese interior, bidets in the toilets, full shower and bathtub in the room, and nice Japanese restaurant on-site. I was pleasantly surprised by this find.

Room was spacious with huge screen TV. Soaking bathtub was really nice after a long day. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its cleanliness and convenience.

The hotel was too warm our room we could not get the air conditioner to work so it was constantly hot in there. The room was a lot more beat up than the last time that we were there and smaller for a king suite.

Very lovely hotel, and great customer service. Although the one thing that wasn’t great but the hotel can’t control is the area that it is located in. There’s not much around in this area and it’s a bit industrial.

It’s a little pricey but I did enjoy the stay here on two separate occasions

I had to ask the front desk for a iron and ironing board when I can back from lunch but I swear by the time we got to our room and put our things down, there was already staff at our door SO FAST. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 Star rating is because they had us facing a large construction site next door. I woke up to SO much noise at 6am it was awful. I could still hear it through my ear plugs and you couldn't enjoy the tiny balcony until the evening when they stopped. We look forward to staying again in the near future.

This hotel surpassed my expectations. The property was very clean, with convenient parking available. Both the staff and fellow guests were friendly and courteous. Its location near the highway made it easily accessible, and there were plenty of nearby options for shopping and dining. I would absolutely recommend staying here and look forward to returning.

Our family really enjoyed this hotel. Super clean and excellent service. We lived th balcony and spacious room. We couldn't give it 5 stars because the wifi didn't work well and the beds were very uncomfortable. Otherwise, the hotel was wonderful!

Our check in was horrible. She was so rude. We were coming from out of state for a graduation and needed to get checked in a get ready in a hurry. I called the morning of check in to ask about early check in hoping for an extra 30 mins to an hour but they said it was first come first serve even thought I explained that we were coming from far away. So we arrive at 1:30 and ask for early check in and she laughed. I was surprised by her reaction. I explained the situation and she said rudely well idk but there are 10 people in front of you and shrugged her shoulders. I understand that if there is nothing you can do that’s fine but to have a snarky attitude like that was so uncalled for! So we left and returned at 3 and when we walked up to the desk she tossed the rooms keys at me with an attitude! Like wow! Never will I ever stay there again. If you don’t know how to treat customers then get a different job!

The hotel was very clean, service was excellent. The only problem was there was no cell phone service from the rooms. We weren't able to make any calls.

I miss Japan so I booked this hotel. The soaking tub was amazing. Quiet, nice bed that had different pullows firm and soft. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoy staying in Miyako Hotel. But I just have a little bit disappointment about the bath tub, it's not really safe for kids because the tub was too high, our AC wasn't working well on the first day. It was hot that time, but the next day when we mentioned it to the staff they fixed it asap. All the staff were so accomodate and nice.
