This is a comment for Expedia. I have a service dog and when we schedule a stay at a motel I would like to let them know I will have him with me. But thhere is noplace on the form to do that. It would help people like me to facilitate checking in.
- 2/5
Barebones. No shower products in bathroom. Terrible tv remote. Nasty sheets. Lousy breakfast. And overpriced for its quality. Would avoid.
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable. Well priced. The breakfast was a little sparse however great choices for breakfast are nearby in Travelers Rest (like Tandem). I would stay here again.

Disappointing
- 2/5
The location was good- 5 min from everything in TR. The front desk staff was nice, and the breakfast was what you expect from a hotel. The pool was green and unusable, the walls are paper thin, there was a 1" gap under my door so I could hear everything. The windows are single pane and there were people revving their engines super early in the morning- not the hotel's fault, but I have stayed in Airport hotels where I couldn't hear the planes, this was not the case here. The shower was old, and gross, the plate in the microwave was too big so I couldn't use it, there was no drain plug in my sink so I had to be super careful to keep anything small away from the edge. The housekeeping staff knocked on my door at 8:30am despite the 'do not disturb' sign and the fact that check out wasn't until 11 am. The best thing about the place was the desk chair- I had to work from the room for two days- and I loved that chair so much I am looking to buy one like it. The bed was comfortable as well.

3 nights at hotel was horrible the sink was clogged up requested to be fixed , also the refrigerator sounded horrible all night couldn’t rest at all there was no dead bolt on room 114 came back that afternoon they put one on and 2 night had to change my room !! Very horrible wouldn’t recommend to nobody !! Run for your life !!
- 3/5
The shower in our room was so small! You can barely turn around. The room got warm even with the air running.
- 5/5
This property is convenient, reasonably priced and satisfied everything I needed. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and the breakfast isn’t too bad. I think that’s a win for a hotel at this price point.
- 3/5
Breakfast was good, toilet was the old small kind, fella at the check in was rude.
- 2/5
The room was marginal in terms of being clean. The fitness center appeared to not have been vacuumed in some time, plus there were no towels in the rack that had the word "towels" under it. And the clock was not working - new battery? I got in tmy room shower and realized that none of the dispersers worked - so I took a shower with no soap/shampoo. When I went to the front desk and asked about it, I was told they were not working and being replaced, but there was no sign indicating that fact - hence a shower with no soap. The heating/cooling unit appeared to work, but I could not tell how to set it as the labels were missing on two of the settings so not sure what they did. The grill on the heating unit was gross - looked like someone spilled coffee all over it. I use stairs to go from one floor to the next, so the fact the stairs had not been recently vacuumed was obvious. Our room was maybe vacuumed, but it was not done very thoroughly. When I checked out, I was not given a receipt but told I would receive one by email - did not happen. I wanted a receipt because this was clearly a case of the hotel did not come anywhere close to my expectations and what I had to pay for the room (I think the rate was jacked up because Furman graduation.) Should I go on? Bottom line, this was probably my worst hotel experience ever.
- 3.5/5
The rate was great and it was only ever a place to sleep. The breakfast was poor quality and on a couple of days cold.
- 2/5
Very few seats in lobby. Hard to get things done no privacy in this small area directly across from the desk and coffee

Overall the property was meticulously clean. However, the floor in front of the sink in my room was very sticky, shoes stuck and pulled. The lighting in the room is terrible. Light around the sink was so low it was difficult to impossible to see for putting on makeup, even with the outside morning light coming into the room. The water pressure for the sink was a mere trickle. I am 5',130 pds. and had hardly room to move in the tiny shower. The bed and adjustable room temperature were very comfortable but the room was way overpriced.
- 1.5/5
Staff was kind and accommodating. The gross shower with orange bottom. The cakey caulking and paint that looks unclean. The damaged furniture and microwave. The cracked sink that leaked.

The shower offered shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I got in, turned the water on, and they were all empty. I had to get out dripping wet and find my own products. 😖The breakfast was very good and staff was wonderful. They charged $30 a night for a pet and you get nothing.
- 4/5
Great staff and spotless room! The room was nice enough but small. The bathroom was small but clean and had towels/rags for two people rather than three people as was booked. Cosmetic touch up was needed in the shower ceiling. The shower stall is small and had no built-in shelves/ledges for bathing necessities. Dispensers in shower contained no products. When I asked for them (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), I was happily and quickly given bars of hand soap and lotion. So, BYO bathing necessities. The pool was covered and closed. I'd stay again but will know what to expect next time. :)
- 5/5
Breakfast was good! The only downside was that the shower stall looked poorly updated and the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel dispensers didn’t work.
- 3/5
The hotel is fine except for the bathrooms. The showers all leak quite badly onto the floors. In the room we stayed in on our last visit the floor tiles are actually starting to become detached and move around because the floor underneath is starting to rot. They really need to attend to/ renovate the bathrooms. The rest of the rooms are updated and clean.
- 4/5
My shower floor did not look clean.
- 3/5
Any updates and repairs to the rooms are very poorly done. Our shower head barely trickled water and was held together with duct tape.
- 4/5
It was fine for a one night stay
- 3/5
I stayed in a pet friendly room and there were odd fragrant inserts in the air conditioner vent that made the whole room smell artificial and gross and the sheets were overly fragrant. There was construction happening on the first floor where I was staying and materials piled up in the hallway. I was also staying near the exit door which was loud until about 11pm. The property needed to be cleaned up – there were shopping carts from a nearby grocery store and a lot of trash around. The breakfast was OK but the flat egg patties were not good.
- 2/5
It started out as a pleasant enough experience, but once the desk clear announced my room number being a single female, and there’s two gentlemen standing behind me I thought that was a rule number one of hotel check to never verbally say a room number. It was a first floor room. There was people all night long on their phones in the hallway. Lord knows why they were in the hallway. Dogs were barking. And we’re not gonna talk about the mold in the bottom of the shower door. The toiletries in the shower we’re completely empty. All in all it was a very disappointed experience, considering I’m a repeat guest
- 5/5
It was very clean. The staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
The area, town and shops were wonderful. It was a short distance to the Swamp Rabbit trail. Place was comfortable, clean and friendly
- 3/5
We stayed in this hotel for 325$ per night because no other option was available due to basketball games in the city. It was definitely overpriced. It looked like the hotel was recently cheaply renovated. Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and ready to help. Breakfast was free, but below average. We didn’t have a good rest due to a lot of extra noises.
- 3/5
It was okay stay. Nothing special, but comfortable enough and good rates. We were stopping by Travelers rest and needed one night stay. Convenient location.
- 3/5
Roach in bedroom
- 5/5
Wet clean and local dining ,shopping etc
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful.
- 3/5
We stay here often bc of its proximity to family in the area. The shower in our room this time leaked horribly all over the bathroom floor. This room had an unpleasant smell to it. I’m assuming it was due to guests having to use a shower each day that leaks water all over the floor.
- 2/5
Gym was extremely dirty, staff was incredibly rude.
- 1/5
Yes, no tp holder, no light bulbs in one of the lamps, very poor insulation between rooms. We could hear the next room very clearly in conversation.
- 3/5
The shower was out of shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. When we checked in, the front desk worker said three words to us: “ID” and “sign here”. She never said when check out was or breakfast or anything. Odd experience
- 3/5
Shower was kind of gross
- 5/5
Room was very nice. Recently remodeled. Beds were comfy. Staff friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
A couple issues to mention: the soap dispenser in the shower was empty but I was given two bars of soap, so I wasn’t left without. The walls are VERY thin. One of my neighbors played music in their room frequently throughout my stay and I could hear it as well as some Valentines “celebrations” late into the night/early morning. Although the hotel has no smoking/vaping signs all over, every night there was an overwhelming smell of weed throughout my room and the hallway. Staff was friendly, and parking was easy. It’s in a good location for what I needed. Overall not bad, but there could be some slight improvements. I didn’t do the breakfast or amenities so I can’t comment on that but it always smelt good passing breakfast each morning.
- 1/5
The shower was very very small. No shelving to hold our soaps etc. The body wash, shampoo conditioner containers on the wall in the shower were empty. After water.is running you can smell the stench of "septic ". The internet was horrible! The TV buffered the entire weekend. Luckily we were in the rooms a lot. I called the front desk to see whatbwas going on. I simply was told its working down there. The phone in the room didnt work. I had to use my cell to call 😆.. The walls are super thin.. we can hear everything! I do mean everything.. we could here a couple having sex as we waiting on the elevator... it was not the tv. We will not consider this establishment on put next trip.
- 5/5
Room was very nice. Very Clean. Comfortable bed. Staff friendly.
- 4/5
It was a pretty room. I only needed 1 night while visiting my son in the hospital. The employees were kind. The breakfast was decent. The bed and pillows felt amazing and the shower got nice and hot.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Clean rooms. Staff are professional. Breakfast hours and selection was great! Hot showers and adequate heat!
- 3/5
Room was nice and clean. Mattress did not seem new kinda sink a bit in places. No coffee pot in room. Had microwave and refrigerator but needed a coffee pot. Who wants to get dressed to get a cup of coffee when just waking up. Staff told me survey said guests did not need one in room. All guest I asked wanted one. Issues with toilet. Tiny towels. Breakfast was typical but greasy and not really appetizing. Bagels bread and rolls seemed old. I made a waffle which was good. If ever in area again will probably go toward Greenville to stay.
- 3/5
The ac unit was barely functional. The buttons were broken. The room upstairs was so loud just walking that the windows rattled. There was no shampoo in the shower. I had to wash my hair with shower gel. The tile in the bathroom floor was broken. The sheets were wrinkled. The lighting in the room left a lot to be desired. I won't be returning.
- 4/5
Good location. The front desk staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Good value for the price
- 1/5
Two days after we left, they charged us a $300 "cleaning fee" because they "smelled smoke" in the room. WE DID NOT SMOKE, VAPE, OR ANYTHING in the room. I spent hours fighting this travesty, to no avail!
- 4/5
The breakfast was delicious. The sausage gravy hit the spot.
- 5/5
the cleaning service left around 11:00 AM and we were not out of the room by than so they never came in to make the bed or clean the room i was given clean towels and wash clothes by them whenever i asked also had to ask twine to have an extra chair because there was only one and no other place to sit but the bed
- 2/5
Staff was pleasant. No problems with staff. The room itself was misrepresented and its images online. Very outdated. Extremely small. Dark with limited lighting. Bathroom quite literally had a pipe as the shower faucet, the toilet paper holder was hanging on the wall. The cover to the back of the toilet didn’t fit The basin itself. I understand based on the pricing that this was not going to be a five star hotel. But I do expect that the images online to match and represent the hotel. I’m staying at. It just was not the case for this location.
- 5/5
Service was excellent! The staff were very friendly. The young lady that checked us in was super sweet and very helpful 😁

- 3/5
Staff was friendly but hotel was really run down. Maybe we got the worst room possible because we arrived late?!? It was overall a disappointment considering the price we paid.
- 3/5
Room needs more cleaning attention. Instructions for the TV needs to be available.
- 3/5
Bed was very uncomfortable. We didn’t get hardly any sleep due to this.
- 4/5
I always have a great stay here.
- 2/5
Bathroom was not clean Whole place needs upkeep
- 2/5
Wouldn’t recommend staying here.
- 3/5
The room is dirty. Not sure if I want to use the shower because the floor is so dirty. And the room smells bad.
- 5/5
Everything about our stay was excellent. The room, the service, staff and all aspects of our stay were wonderful. I have always like Best Western and this one was really reminded me why?? We will be back!

- 5/5
Clean room, excellent staff—the hotel is being renovated so you can see they are doing some upgrades to the rooms. Overall we plan to bid this more often.
- 2/5
Bathroom toilet leaked. Shower dripping and leaked onto floor. Odor in room. Cold food.
- 2/5
This is an old facility that cannot compete with a newer facility charging similar prices. Everything is small. The amenities are lacking, the fitness room was being used as a storage room and closed. The business center was open to the lobby and next to the elevator, with no visual or audible privacy. The tv remote only had channel keys, no scroll function so the guide was unusable. The breakfast area had different seating arrangements but was difficult to maneuver around because the space was so small.
- 2/5
Smelly dirty and all torn apart under construction also. Will not return
- 2/5
Pets not allowed in bed. Told will be charged $300 if pet in bed. Did not stay due to fear of any fur getting anywhere. Guy at counter was friendly, just needs better of pet policy
- 1/5
Unfortunately it wasn’t a pleasant stay. We only lasted 10 mins due to black mold in the bathroom and a very damp room: husband has mold allergies and within those 10 mins began wheezing so we had no choice but to leave after they didn’t have other accommodations available for us.
- 1/5
A complete mess. There are renovations taking place and the pool and gym were closed. However, we were told that our room was recently renovated but it was not clean! Curtains burn spots on them. Bathroom looked like it had been chewed on and had what appeared to be urine stains on it. Shower was gross! The mini refrigerator in the room was so loud that it sounded like it was going to explode. Noisy hallways throughout the night. Hallways smelled like marijuana. When discussed with management I was repeatedly told that “housekeeping had not reported any cleaning issues and that the hotel was smoke free so if others are smoking in their room, we will fine them when they leave.” Asked for a refund upon arrival due to the condition of the hotel and was told no refund.
- 3/5
Ok
- 3/5
Staff was very accommodating
- 2/5
After checking in and parking my car, I noticed the pool was Closed and full of green algae water...unpleasant to see, wanting to take a soak. After parking, entering from the back door, the gym was Out of Order, then passing the public laundry, on the way to my room noticed that both the washer and drier were Out of Order. My 1st floor room appeared clean, already updated, but the hammering, slamming, drilling etc in the room above was unwelcomin. The last straw was finding out the shampoo and soap dispensers mounted in the shower were empty after I was already in rhe shower. I mentioned this to the staff when checking out, and his comment simply was Sorry. This establishment charged what I consider top rate for very sub rate comfort and convenience. My new schedule will have me in town nearly every week, and have now crossed this establishment off of my list.
- 2/5
It was not what we expected. I think they were in the middle of renovations.
- 5/5
Hotel is in the process of updates. If they continue, should be really nice soon. Fine right now, just some things quite dated.
- 2/5
The bed was comfortable and the shower water had good pressure and was hot. The heat/ac worked well. Then the fact that they are renovating the hotel and the filth and the noise (not at night) was beyond. They provided the skimpiest towels and not enough. We were able to get more towels. The floors were very tacky and I washed them with the towels after I showered. We stayed 4 nights and that was 3 nights too many. I will never stay in a Best Western ever again! Oh! There’s ONE ice machine in the entire hotel and it wasn’t working for 2 days. We wanted ice for our drinks and ended up buying a bag of ice at the grocery store nearby and ended up throwing the majority of it out.
- 3/5
The property was under renovation so common areas looked messy and disheveled. Boxes everywhere in Lobby. Floor was messy with packaging foam. The room itself was clean and had already been renovated, but others in the floor were not.
- 2/5
The room that I stayed in was smelly like it had been closed off for a very long time. I believe the air conditioning may have mold in it. I had to go and buy air fresheners so that I would not get a headache. The two nights that I stayed there I felt like I had sinus issues.
- 1/5
Room was gross, hotel and grounds are poorly kept. Good area but I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.
- 3/5
It shouldn’t be so difficult to get a late check out, especially during the week when I’m quite sure they are not fully booked. When you do get a late check out the housekeeping service shouldn’t come knock on your door and wake you up to see if you’re out of your room. It is extremely annoying and I will most likely be finding elsewhere to stay when I am in town.
- 1/5
This hotel had construction going on when we arrived. The whole lobby was a mess. The pool was shut down, the fire pit advertised wasn’t functioning or they refused to start it. There were soap/shampoo/ & conditioner mounted in the shower but nothing had anything in them. We will not stay here ever again.
- 3/5
Overall I guess was ok! Started out with additional $26 out of pocket upon arrival even though already paid through Hotels.com “added fee’s not covered by Hotels.com”. Room was clean and fairly comfortable.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean. The staff was helpful.
- 5/5
The staff was cheerful and helpful.
- 3/5
The property is undergoing renovations which is why I have the lower rating. However, the sheets, towels and washcloths had old stains on them.
- 1/5
The pool was not open. It was under construction. The gym was also not open. They were redoing the baseboards and carpet on our floor at 8 o’clock at night. There was no soaps in the shower. Our room had a musty smell. The shower looked very dirty. The free breakfast had almost no options. There was poor, lighting outside of the entrance and in the parking lot.
- 1/5
Did not stay. Waiting for manger to issue promised refund
- 1/5
Pool was closed. Fitness center was closed. The key system was not functioning so the staff had to always open rooms. The shower head was broken. The dispensers for shampoo and conditioner and body wash were completely empty. There was a half empty shampoo bottle in the shower, probably from previous customer. Manager was unavailable to speak to and never returned the call as the desk person promised. The breakfast items were depleted by 7:00 AM. We spoke to the an angry customer in the parking lot who left in the middle of previous night supposedly due to the bed bugs, they showed us pictures and bites.
- 5/5
Quality site. Recommend without hesitation.
- 2/5
The bathroom had mold in it, there were dead cockroaches in the hallway, and the fitness center was closed. I will not stay here again

- 1/5
The room smelt
- 3/5
The room was fine and the breakfast was ok. It was disappointing that the pool wasn’t open .
- 3/5
I made The reservation because it was a pet friendly hotel. But I didn’t see anything about only select rooms allowing pets. So we were charged a massive pet fee and the check in person was rude and very unhelpful. Not a pet friendly hotel at all.
- 5/5
I love the area and the hikes around
- 4/5
There was gentleman leaned out of third floor window smoking when I pulled up. 😆 No products for the shower(pumps were empty). Beds were very firm, breakfast wasn’t terrible, pool looked a little green…
- 5/5
The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Staff was nice and breakfast was acceptable.
- 3/5
This was a convenient place to stay and the price was right. However, there were multiple days when the hallway on the third floor smell like skunk! I brought it to the attention of the front desk, but I’m not sure if they could or would do anything about it. It’s an older place and the showers are a bit small, but it was well kept clean.
- 3/5
Good location for the weekend trip to visit family and friends . Check in is 3 pm came early around 12:30 pm was told could not check in till 3 pm come back was aboe to check in then i asked to extra pillows during my booking and was told they have none room was ok not best but worked for the weekend when i went to check out i checked out just before 11 am then they said they tried to call me and i was charg
- 4/5
Everything was as described online. I would suggest more care to the pool area. Pool jets were not on so the water was looking pretty stagnant on our last day. I took it upon myself to clean as much as I could but it needed a good filtration. Hopefully management addresses before it becomes a health hazard.
- 3/5
This room was nasty the shower was a mess had a 1/2 galvanized pipe for a shower handle
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Like the lobby and accessibility to TR.
- 1/5
Impressed by a different BW+. This was not that. The area is great. The staff was not overly helpful. The shower was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in a hotel. There was a pipe used as the handle for the shower. It was special. Given the condition and amenities, this property was overpriced by $30/night.
- 4/5
Was decent. Iron was old and outdated. Was next to stairs and door so it wasn’t very quiet.
- 4/5
2d time staying at this property. Staff very friendly and the best breskfast. Only issue the bathroom fan and room safe did not work.
- 3/5
It was okay, but area around outside of hotel was littered a lot!
- 3/5
Employees friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
For the price, I couldn’t expect much more than what I got I suppose. The room was clearly outdated in its layout but had at some time had a face lift to try to hide the age. The a/c was old and sounded like it. It’s smelled musty in the room. Housekeeping had been there but had just gone through the motions. There were greasy areas on the furniture. Microwave and refrigerator worked but were showing wear and tear. The sad little coffeemaker was suppled with equally sad little packets of bad coffee. But for one night, leaving early in the morning, I couldn’t have expected much more.
- 2/5
Needs a refresh. Not clean.
- 4/5
Pool close. But not bad
- 2/5
Location liked. Wallpaper was coming off wall in foyer, upper floors smelled like old ash tray and trash.
- 4/5
It was quiet and comfortable, no frills
- 3/5
The bed are hard as a rock and the bathroom is tiny.
- 3/5
Needs updating.
- 1/5
The bathrooms were run down and dirty.
- 2/5
The linens and towels were perfectly clean, the breakfast options were fine and adequate. The room, especially bathroom, smelled of mold.
- 3/5
First of all, you have my name wrong. My reservation had the correct name, but the email asking for review had the wrong name.
- 1/5
Room was dirty, had cockroaches, water leaking from the bathroom ceiling, and management that didn't try to make things right.
- 1/5
Smells stinky smells bad Indians eyeball your wallet and complain about the booking prices demanding more money wouldn't stay here if it was the only hotel available.
- 5/5
Nice room, very safe
- 1/5
Room appeared to have not been cleaned. Dust on the counter tops hair all over the sink and shower.
- 4/5
Perfectly good hotel in the price range. Well presented just modest. Would stay here again.
- 3/5
Average but fair for the price. Only complaint I would say is the $100 deposit they require takes almost a week to be returned so just be aware
- 3/5
The room was very small with sink in room. The bathroom was not much more than a closet. I am not planning on staying there again
- 4/5
Great stay and very clean room was smaller than expected
- 4/5
Very quiet and clean
- 3/5
Toilet was running all night
- 2/5
Check in went fine… polite man at desk. Upon arriving in our room we noticed the ceiling in the bathroom was falling, shower shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers didn’t work. I had to go back to the front desk in my pajamas to ask for additional shampoo, etc. Microwave was filthy, bugs in bathroom and main area. walls were paper thin. I mentioned at check out that the hotel could use some improvements and was told they were planned for the future. Definitely will be paying a little more and stay somewhere else next time.
- 5/5
It is a good one night stay
- 2/5
The carpet was not vaccumed, and the bathroom had water bugs.
- 1/5
For sure, next time, I will NOT stay there and I cannot believe I paid $170 for one night! NEVER again! Atrocious!
- 3/5
The bathrooms were not clean. The shower door was installed in such a way that you had to get hit by the cold water when trying to turn on the shower.
- 5/5
The stay was fine
- 1/5
The experience we had was worse than any hotel we have ever stayed in before. There were German cockroaches, at least five that we saw while we were there. One was on the bed, two were on the wall beside the bed, one was sticking its head out of the power socket and one was by the sink. The room smelled bad, a mixture of a bad, weird smell, and also Fabulosa cleaner. Although the sheets were clean and the toilet and shower were clean, the door was disgusting, and the floor had sticky spots on it. Equipment in the workout room didn’t work. What looks like a fire pit by a lake on their website is actually a tiny cement area by a supermarket and the parking lot. We came during a snowstorm and was snowed in and the night worker said the entire hotel was sold out so we were stuck there, (the roads were ice by that point) but I seriously thought about sleeping in the car because I could barely sit in that room and there is no lobby to sleep in. It was like a nightmare to be honest. There was no manager on duty that night or the next morning or the following morning. I’m not sure if there is ever really a manager there. He assured me he would pass along the information to the manager, and he said that we would definitely get a refund. We actually gave him one of the roaches in a tissue that he kept supposedly to let his manager know. But we were never able to get a refund.

Middling property in a middle market.

Cleaning products used smelled horrible. Had to open eindoe

You cancelled our reservation. Found out about cancellation at check in. We were biking on SRTrail and didn’t check our messages. You didn’t call until the morning of the reservation.

Clean, awesome staff, great location
- 5/5
Our trip was great
- 4/5
The staff (especially the weekend front desk) were top notch and truly exemplified hospitality. The shower gel/shampoo were empty and the in-room safe didn’t function…but neither really impacted our stay.
- 4/5
The hotel was fine. Big room. The toilet was noisy when it flushed - just that kind of toilet, I guess. Desk staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

Worst customer service ever had prepaid for a room said that they didn’t have a room available because they didn’t have anybody to clean it but yet they were three people standing by the behind the counter did however have a room to give to the next guy that was paying 100 more dollars per night than what I was paying Said I would be refunded my money within 7 to 10 business days. Also said they canceled my reservation earlier that day but when I called before I left a six hour trip to get there, they told me that my room was ready and set up for my arrival And I was traveling for a back fusion that was scheduled for the next day, but I would be in the hospital for 4 to 5 days afterwards
- 3/5
The shower seemed tired, none of the soap dispensers worked in the shower. Carpet was old.
- 1/5
The hurricane impacted the hotel and our plans and I received no help from the hotel or hotels.com on the matter.
- 2/5
I requested a refund 72 hours in advance for my last night that I DID NOT stay at the hotel and between Expedia and the hotel no one makes responsibility. I’m not sure if using Expedia is an advantage anymore
- 3/5
Nice hotel a little dated but that’s okay.. Only problem I asked for a room on the lower level due to heavy medical equipment and they gave me a lower level room but all the way on the other side of the parking lot and didn’t have a cart to carry heavy medical supplies in the room.. Also, had the jetted tub in my room used it and when I got out noticed that the tub leaked all over the floor..
- 1/5
There's sink bugs in the room, I don't think I should have to pay for this stay, I can't move because they said there is no more availability. All the local hotels are booked as well, so we could leave!

This is my 2nd stay at this property. The staff were very nice! I traveled with my service dog and they welcomed him as well! The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable!! Beautiful view of the mountains. I will continue to book at this property when I visit my son at Furman University!

Average. nothing special.

Great place!!! Staff were super nice and helpful! They went out of there way to make us comfortable!!

Then i check my bank account the next day and discovered an additional $300 charge on our account. I calles to find out why and was told that they smelled marijuana in the room after we left. When confronted with the fact that we don't smoke marijuana nir did we smoke marijuana. I was told by the female i was speaking to that she is a certified Marijuana smeller an that marijuana is illegal in South Carolina. I again explained that illegal or nit we did not smoke anything in the room. I tried to explain I work in the medical field and my husband is a commercial truck driver and is tested regularly. That person I was speaking to became irate when we again told her we did not an would not smoke anything in a hotel room. That maybe the cleaning people did. They have refused to refund the money. I was told I could speak to the manage and that he came in at midnight. However when I stayed up to call the manager at midnight I was told he would be there around 1 or 2 AM. I again explained the situation and again was told that we did it. I then told the gentlemen on the phone that if this did not get resolved I would contact an attorney. He then told me he could no longer talk to me an th call was disconnected.

Great place to stay in every regard!!!
- 4/5
The motel was clean and quiet. Our room was nice and clean. The water pressure was really low in the sink and shower. The shower needed a better cleaning.
- 2/5
Checking in was long and had to wait 15 minutes while the clerk did other tasks and ignored us. When I asked about the pool hours she didn’t have a clear answer. Said until 8 or until it was dirty. Not sure what that means. Made me rethink of getting in it. Room smelled terrible. Bed was hard, and we didn’t sleep well. Breakfast was so-so. Bagels were stale. Coffee was very strong and tasted old. Gym is not 24 hours. Machines are older and dirty. No working ice machine and stairs on our side were emergency exit only. Which was bad because the elevator smelled bad. They put a $100 hold on your account for incidentals and we had to pay county taxes so the price in Hotels.com doesn’t include those, so be prepared to pay more.

Second stay here. Showers had mold both times. Very convenient location and good price with facilities and breakfast included. Went to gym, treadmill was defective. Pool had sediment on bottom but to be fair, I went at 9pm. Lots of free parking.
- 5/5
The staff was super polite
- 3/5
The staff was very nice and accommodating. Continental breakfast was good. The beds were pretty comfortable. The bathroom was not up to my standard of clean. Overall for my stay, it was fine for what we needed.
- 5/5
Nice and new. Good hot breakfast, ready at 6 am.
- 3/5
No issues really. The hotel was great for what I needed, which was simply a safe and affordable room for the night. I really appreciated the very reasonable pet fee.

When I arrived at 3:10 pm there were a lobby full of check-in's and I was 3rd in line of at least 6. The Front Desk Clerk Paro (sp?) was the only one at the desk. She was doing it all and everyone knew she was working hard and she was very comforting did an excellent job. Her help showed up about 3:20pm. Mind you check in as 3pm. It all worked out and Paro deserves a RAISE! Hotel was clean, comfortable, close to town/restaurants and even Food Lion! Location Location Location!! Breakfast was hands down one of the BEST breakfast of any higher end hotels and it was tasteful and abundant! Thank you All for your hard work and attention to detail in making my business trip a pleasure stay. Very grateful. Thank you again!

Room stunk like chemicals and pet odor. We asked for a different room but nothing was available. We were just traveling through so two workers at the front desk said that a refund was definitely okay and encouraged us to look for another hotel. We then had to call Expedia so they could connect with the hotel and approve the refund. When they connected with the manager the next day the story changed. They would not offer a refund and said plenty of rooms were available, which was not the truth. In the end Expedia offered us credit which we are very grateful for but the hotel manager would not budge an inch. Just terrible customer service and completey dishonest. Pay a little more and stay at a nicer hotel, we did.

Saw several small bugs on the sheets. Dust in A/C unit. On a good note, the beds were very comfortable.
- 5/5
Just fine

Breakfast area is too small. People were running into each other all morning. The shampo and body wash containers in the shower were empty.

Excellent suite. Kids loved the pool. Convenient to business and food in travelers rest.
- 5/5
Very clean room, Service was excellent, Also convenient to Greenville. Very reasonable price too
- 3/5
The staff at this property was very nice! The room had some minor issues- such as the floors being sticky & the headboard being crooked, but overall things were adequate for one night.
- 2/5
Shower leaks and was dirty on bottom. Told the desk people and they took pics of my pics but was never offered any discount. These rooms were 134 and 141 each night .
- 1/5
I don't like it when the hotel says it is pet friendly and then bangs us extra money for our little dogs!!!
- 2/5
I liked how friendly the staff was. Unfortunately the room itself was very lackluster and subpar. The shower was in very rough shape with uneven floors. None of the toiletries in the shower worked, it was very hard to turn the water off and on in the shower. The sink clogged up with every use. The electronics in the room did not work. The windows were painted over or had some sort of residue that you could not see out of. The air conditioning barely worked. Best Western is a go to for me and this stay really did not live up to what I have come to know as their standard and expectation. I am disappointed.

Staff was very accommodating

One night stay of a longer trip

Perfect location at the foot of the mountains.

What a great, clean, and family friendly environment!! I stayed here with my three grandchildren, ages 4, 5, and 6, and couldn't have been treated any better. I wish that all hotels were this exceptional. The breakfasts were delicious, the staff was exceptional, and the hotel wasn't overcrowded like other places. In fact, it was so much nicer than others because I was given choices for rooms that were more less costly. I'll choose Best Western again because of this specific hotel!!

The shower head was pulled from the wall and there was mold in the bathroom. We left a day early.

Staff is friendly, place is clean and modern.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The property was conveniently located to restaurants, stores, and other amenities. The room was clean, thought the bathroom might need some maintenance as the caulk is a bit moldy.

Shower pressure was horrible, dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were empty, and the air conditioner didn’t work! Won’t be back!

Clean and super friendly staff!

Very nice hotel and the complimentary breakfast was one of the best in any hotel we have stayed in.
- 1/5
When we arrived the bed had stains on it and the floors were sticky and the bathroom toilet had stains on it. The pillows had hairs and when the front desk was notified he stated that he would put pillow cases on top of the dirty ones and they couldn’t change our room. They refused to give refund. We booked at the Hampton Inn down the road and was a lot better.
- 4/5
This Best Western is fairly priced and in a very good location in Traveler's Rest. We were there for a road race and the front desk people were very nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and our room was adequate. We didn't get to eat the breakfast because we had to head to the race, but it looked like they had plenty of food. The lady at the front desk in the morning, Prado, was very sweet and wished us luck on our run!

Bath towels are small ( not much larger than a hand towel, towels are old and thin so did not dry. Breakfast hot food looked like it had been cold and heated up

It's a nice place to stop for the night.

Average at best. Not a well-run site. Not efficient. Unorganized.

I ended Ip driving back 2 hours based on Front desk experience and misrepresentation of property. Staff said they did not have a manager or anyone who could answer a question about something I saw on their website. They also frowned upon booking through a 3rd party although when I called the property to book there was no one available to book a room on the recording. Will not be staying in Best Westerns ever again based on them having zero control on properties bearing their name for safety for women. I take feeling safe on a trip seriously and when no one can answer a simple question and says they have no one in charge I am not staying🙃 You shouldn’t either. They bashed the very service that promoted their property. This is Best Western travellers Rest/Greenville
- 5/5
Great for the price. We are visiting out daughter at Furman and we are 5 minutes from here. Travelers Rest has good restaurants 5 minutes away. Food lion is within walking distance.
- 4/5
The desk clerk was helpful, attentive, and nice to us. When we got to the room, it looked like someone had diarrhea right before we walked in and it was all over the lid. The room itself was fine, other than that. A lot of cosmetic upgrades needed for bathroom, lighting, and closets, but we’re here for one night so I’m not concerned with that. The cleanliness is what bothered us.
- 5/5
This hotel was right in line with our stop.
- 5/5
It was quiet and clean.
- 5/5
Come to visit North Greenville Unkversity with my daughter. Easy drive to the University. Hotel was clean and service staff was awesome and helpful. 10% discount for people visiting NGU.
- 3/5
Front desk was very nice. But sadly the room did not share in that "niceness". The walls were chipped and in rough shape. The furniture was also in bad shape with scuffs and scratches. My son refused to take a shower because it was really dirty. Whether it was stained or actually dirty, i am not sure. And there was not enough room in the bathroom to change. The toilet and shower were behind a door with the sink outside in the main room.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and well managed. The beds were a little too soft for us but clean. Breakfast was good but a bit too repetitious. A good location and easy access.
- 3/5
This hotel offers great value for the price paid. No issues at all (except the 4:30am trash truck). We have no problems staying here again.
