The Roth Hotel

The Roth Hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach is so close and so beautiful. Great for long walks or a run. A great location easy to get to many activities. We would love to return!!

We originally booked two nights, but once we realized this place was truly a hidden gem, we asked to stay one more night. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and helpful, and they made the extension easy We stayed in Room 5 and everything was excellent.The room was clean, comfortable, and well thought out.The shower was perfect after the beach, the bed was very comfortable, the TV had cable and apps like Netflix, and the sofa bed was great for a family movie night with our daughter One of our favorite parts was the back dock. In the morning, drinking coffee while waiting for the sunrise, we saw dolphins passing through the canal, heard fish near the deck, and watched pelicans flying around. It was peaceful and beautiful Having parking included was a huge plus, especially because parking around St. Pete and Sunset Beach can be limited and expensive.The location made it easy to enjoy the beach without stress The kitchen had everything we needed, even more than expected, and the pool was perfect for our daughter after long beach day Everyone made us feel welcome from beginning to end.We are definitely coming back. These were our best vacations in two years, and The Roth Hotel played a huge part in making them so special Thanks! P.s: Don't move my chair 😅

Everything! We love that there is a fishing dock in the back, but you can be on the beach in less than 5 minutes. It’s quiet and quaint!

Beautiful, updated and cozy. I really loved everything about this stay. Really like the way it feels secluded and private. The owners have put their heart in this one. They have everything you need and then some. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

The location cannot be beat. Being on the beautiful blue water was the best. The place has everything you need for a spectacular trip. Already planning another trip to The Roth!

Second stay at the lovely Roth Hotel. Location is perfect. Very quiet and our room overlooked the beautiful waterway (great to see the dolphins on the 2nd day). Parking was great. 5min walk to the beach and plenty of decent beach chairs and umbrellas available to take. Room was great and spacious. Bed very comfy. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Such a cozy nice place to stay.

We were in the family room (Room 1) on the first floor. We loved it! The room was very clean and very comfortable with a view of the bay from the living room windows, there are dolphins swimming by on a regular basis, and beautiful Sunset Beach is literally a block away. There were only two downsides I can think of: (1) the pool is very nice but is strictly for lounging---it's not big enough for lap swimming, and (2) the closest place to get a coffee or food is a 20 minute walk. (1) wasn't a big deal since we could swim in the ocean, and (2) wasn't a big deal because we rented a car and there are tons of great restaurants and coffee shops within a short drive. But I think it's fair to say that if you plan to stay here, having a car is necessary. In any case, we hope to stay here again the next time we visit the area!

Kitschy place with cozy Adirondack chairs around the deck overlooking the boats with a beach trail to walk around, as well. Lovely spot. Comfy large bed and clean. I always prefer a larger bathroom but it was fine.

Beautiful, newly renovated room. The deck area on the intercoastal water was wonderful with plenty of chairs and tables. Sunset Beach area of Treasure Island is very nice.

Beautiful pool area with tropical trees and flowering plants. Intercoastal views are lovely.

The Roth Hotel is a cute cozy place. The staff is friendly and answers quickly when you have questions and gives suggestion. Check in was easy. The dock area was great for morning coffee. I will be back

The unit was beautifully renovated. It is in a great location one block from the Gulf and on the water facing the bay. We enjoyed the sunrise sitting on the patio facing the bay.

The hotel is conveniently located just one block from the beach, allowing for easy walks to take in the most beautiful sunsets. We stayed in Room 7, which offered wonderful views of the waterway. The room was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, featuring a living room with a queen pullout couch, a small kitchen/dining area, a separate bedroom with an extremely comfortable king-size bed, and a well-appointed bathroom. The property is nicely updated and exceptionally well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The location was perfect for us, clean, safe, and close to great restaurants and entertainment. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Roth Hotel Boutique to anyone looking for a charming, relaxing getaway.

Spacious room, excellent amenities

We began staying at The Roth Hotel over a year ago. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. There's a very nice dock on the Intercoastal Waterfront to fish and it's a short 1 block walk to Sunset Beach. The area has a Free Beach Ride if you choose to use it and free parking on site. There's dining, bars and shopping within a few minutes. Each unit has a kitchen area if eating in is preferred. The property is very clean indoors and outside too. The Perfect Beach Area for couples and/or family get togethers. We'll definitely return again soon.

Close walk to the beach The condition of the beach in that area is not very good. And the pavilion is completely fenced off and has caution tape all around it no available bathrooms or showers at the beach

Quaint and very quiet which is what we were looking for. Showers were on the cool side-very little warm water.

This is our favorite beach stay in Florida! Canal out back....fishing, dolphins, manatees and so much more! The rooms are so clean and comfortable! The beach is literally a block away for sunset! You cannot beat this!!

Perfect location. Close to sunset beach. Very nice decor. Only minor complaint is not enough places to hang wet items. After a day at the beach, it would be nice to have more places to hang wet suits and towels.

A hidden gem one block from Sunset Beach and the property sits next to the the intercoastal (Blind Pass). Every room has a small kitchen area and a small dining table. Nice pool with grill and outdoor seating areas. From the dock Dolphins frolic and fishing is good. Free parking too. Pure serenity with restaurants, bars, and entertainment nearby. A free beach ride service is a phone call away. Definitely a unique getaway within minutes of downtown St Petersburg. It's a great place for family and friends too. Highly recommend staying as often as possible. I live 75 minutes away and visit about once a month throughout the year.

Amazing quiet stay with fishing off their private dock and swimming in the pool. A hidden oasis of relaxation. Many of the nearby (within 3 miles) restaurants and bars are open and there's a free beach ride available. We love visiting and highly recommend this property.

The hotel was tucked away at the end of the island. It was cozy and quiet away from the treasure island crowds. Everything was very clean and easily accessible. Sunset beach was a hidden gem and the hotel supplying beach chairs and umbrellas was a huge bonus. Super friendly staff. The hotel was booked for the weekend but the entire property was extremely peaceful. 11/10 recommend. Craig’s recommendations were spot on!! We didn’t have a car and because it’s towards the end of the island, most restaurants, bars and shops weren’t really within walking distance. Not a con but just something to be mindful of! Lyfts were readily available and there is a free beach taxi you can call (but beware, they only have about 6 drivers so during peak times, they don’t always answer the phone).

The owner was very welcoming and responsive. It was easy to communicate. The property itself is very neat and clean. Great location - right across the street from the Sunset beach. None I can think of. Everything was great!

Everything. It is totally remodeled from the hurricane. Pool was awesome and the dock was beautiful and efficient. Had morning coffee on the bay side and watched the dolphins at Sunrise. Walk arias the street and the beach is beautiful. Lots is shells too. Best sunset too. Absolutely NOTHING. Best get away in awhile. I just live in Tampa so spend a lot of staycations at our beautiful local beaches.

We traveled with a small group of friends. This was our second time visiting The Roth. The owners are so accommodating, the grounds are super clean, quiet, we loved being right on the inner coastal. The dock is a very nice bonus. We love being able to walk to the beach and get to some great places to eat easily. We had a superior room with a great water view. We love the kitchen set up with a family room to accommodate being inside with friends. We were able to grill on the patio and loved the pool area. Overall one of our favorite places to visit.

Roth Hotel is a true hidden gem. An immaculately refurbished old Florida lodging, it offers a quiet, tasteful, cozy setting right on the Intracoastal. We had gorgeous views from our upstairs windows and enjoyed the salinated pool, often with no one else using it. Pristine clean and the nearby beach became our favorite in the area. A very short walk from our room, we found sand dollars and shells galore daily. Kitchen was fully stocked and came in handy as well.

This is a little gem in a stunning part of Florida. This quiet, perfect picturesque place offers some of the best views of Blinds Pass. With literally a three minute walk to the gorgeous Sunset Beach which is part of Treasure Island. Apartment 13 had views to die for! The complex is small but suitable for a perfect, quiet stay. We would recommend those couples looking for a very laid back vibe to stay here. Also the boardwalk at the back is an amazing spot to fish and just relax on the long chairs. A very happy UK couple who would love to return soon!

Every single day in this hotel was good

We truly enjoyed our stay for a two night getaway. Very low key and quiet yet only one block away from the beach and great fishing from the dock. We're returning often in the future.

Really nice place. It is an older property but has been rehabbed and in great shape. Kept very clean. Nice patio area in back sitting on the waterway. Ate breakfast out there both days. 1 block walk from the beach. Hotel has chairs available to take to beach but unfortunately no umbrellas. Close proximity to restaurants, boat/jet ski rentals. Would stay here again.

If you want to stay in a quiet yet comfortable place, this is for you! It's right across the street from the beach, so no car needed, bar and restaurant is literally a 3 to 4 minutes walk, so all of the party noise is far enough to not disturb you. The price is super reasonable and the view is amazing 😍

This place was awesome! King studio had all we needed, including a fridge and coffee maker. A block away from the beach, quiet location. Parking, swimming pool, beach towels and chairs provided made it all easy. The place was really well maintained. I’d stay again in a heartbeat

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway but still close to all the top sites of the area then I highly recommend staying here!

This place is a hidden gem, clean, quaint and rooms have a retro vibe. I really enjoyed it there and loved how close it was to the beach, bathrooms and paddleboard rentals. The back patio area overlooking the bay was spectacular and if you fish they have a nice dock. We walked to caddys for lunch , it took about 15 minutes. My only issue is parking, at night I couldnt find a place to park, spots should be assigned to each room and enforced. Overall I would go back.

Haven't checked out and we're already planning our return trip.

My husband and I had a very relaxing vacation. This hotel was in a nice area and was quiet. The room was exceptionally clean! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The other guests were friendly as well. We will book with them again!

My husband and I had a blast at The Roth Hotel. The place is super comfy, quiet and peaceful. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. We stayed at the superior room, that’s have an amazing view of the canal. The dock is a great place to relax. I highly recommend it and we’re planning to go back soon!

This hotel is the absolute BEST find in Treasure Island! The owners are exceptional, and will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable in your beachside paradise. The dock on the intercostal is amazing for fishing or just sit and watch the birds, dolphins and boats passing by. The rooms are spotless and cozy with all the beach vibes. They even provide beach chairs, noodles, a wagon and cooler. The pool is clean and accessible within the middle of a tropical oasis. This lovely property even offers more chairs and various high top tables around the property for guests to entertain with a great barbeque. Can’t say enough about the ROTH HOTEL….we will be back. Thanks again!!

What can we say other than loved, loved, loved this hotel. Everything was very clean and like new condition. We had a view of the beautiful bay from our living room. Bed was very comfy. Well decorated rooms and Kitchen was very nice. We could see fish at night off their dock with their underwater light. Dolphins came and chased fish within a few feet of the dock. That was priceless. Chris, the manager, was very friendly and very helpful, asking us if he could help in any way including taking our kayaks off of our truck. Yes, we kayaked off of their dock and it was great. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. We have been going to the Florida Gulf many times in the past 12 years and this is the best place/experience we ever had. Can’t say enough about this place. We cannot wait to return! You will not be satisfied when you stay here, you will be delighted.
