Hot tub was very nice. Breakfast food was good (especially the biscuits) and staff did great job keeping it well stocked and the area very clean. Staff were all friendly. Bathroom soap, lotion, shampoo/conditioner were really nice… big bottles, not the personal size. Ordered some for home use.

This is the nearest hotel to McMenemies concert area: 20 min. walk. Room is large. Thanks for putting shampoo and lotion in a sustainable container. We checked in 2 hours early: thank you. 15 min. walk to truck food area. Easy on-off from I-84. Room looks directly over the parking lot. Like most hotels, they did not permit early morning lap swim before their 8am pool opening. Breakfast the usual very bland stuff.

Great hotel! I stay here about once a month when i travel to the Portland area.the rooms are very clean, the staff are friendly, and the location is quiet. I haven’t used the pool, the gym, or the sauna but they all look quite nice. Highly recommend

We stayed here to explore the gorge and be close to PDX when we flew out. This location was perfect for us and had a 6am breakfast which was great for us to get started on our hikes early! Comfy beds also

A kinder, safer place to park with easy access to nearby places like Walmart and restaurants.

We have been staying at this Best Western for over 20 years. It is a bit of a hidden gem. It’s close to the freeway, stores and restaurants. It is very quiet and maintained well. We love that they have a pool, hot tub and a sauna.

The toilet was broke and constantly running. The refrigerator sounded like it had an ice machine in it and kept us all night. House keeping knocked on our door at 8:40 am. We didnt answer, but they let themselves into the room. Completely unacceptable!! When I called the front desk to complain all they said was ok. Not even an apology.

The breakfast was amazing! The rooms need a little updating like the toilet and refrigerator both making a lot of noise. Other than that it was perfect!

Checked in on 3/6. Woke up on 3/7 with bites all over my chest. Grandaughter also had bites up her leg. When I spoke to manager Kim about bites; telling them there were bedbugs bites. They told me they checked the room and it was clean. Telling me I didn't get it from them and hung up on me.

Clean, convenient, plenty of room

Room was spotless clean, lots of pillows with different thickness. However, the pool was milky in color - and the hot tub was dark brown. I was told at check in the hot tub was to be fixed the next morning and had "just stopped working that day". ummmm, no. It was apparent it had't worked in a while. They should have DRAINED it with the water that gross. Breakfast had a lot of options unless you are gluten intolerant. Options without wheat flour were small condiment cups of cottage cheese with 2 tablespoons of cheese and sugar syrup fruit or yogurt. We stayed 3 nights and the pool / hot tub never were available (reason we chose this hotel- I needed to continue PT for recent hip surgery and swimming was approved by doctor). So disappointed with lack of communication on that. Otherwise a very clean and comfortable place to stay.

I found myself in Troutdale without a place to sleep - I was recommended to try the Best Western. I booked the room just a couple hours before arriving. Check in was a breeze, the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the complimentary continental breakfast was better than average. Prices were in line with other area hotels. Best Western was such a life saver this weekend, I'd definitely look to stay in one again.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy for sleeping. The location made it easy to walk to get food if you choose to.

They had great yogurt but wish there was more fruit. Coffee was great. The hard boiled eggs were hard and rubbery so that was not good.

I have no idea where the front desk guy was because he was never there when we came and went, you had to push a ringer for him. They put a $250 hold on your card and it takes over a week to get iy back.

Accommodations were fine, however, very disappointed that I did not receive points on my Best Western membership for two nights because we booked directly with hotel and not through BW. When did that policy take place?

They need to install grab bars in the tub/shower. The bathroom was tiny. The towels were terrible. The staff was very good. The breakfast was pretty good. Parking was free and adequate. Convenient location to many things.

The Staff was very nice and the lady that was in charge of breakfast was the sweetest ever making sure everyone got what they need. Breakfast was good too. There is nice hot tub and the pool we didint use it but lots of ppl did. The room was spacious and clean but to dark. More lamps are need it. Very conviniece stop right from the hwy.

The only thing I didn't like was after staying here many times, this time the bed we had in the room was quite firm so I woke up with sore joints every morning.

The room reeked of smoke, like someone had just smoked a pack in our room. I was in there for 5 mins and had a headache.

Found many hairs in the bathroom. The bathroom smelled like vomit. The chair had many stains covering it. The mattress was terribly hard and I could feel the springs.

Not clean, found a centipede in the bathroom. TV did not work the whole time, tried to get help and they just said the internet must be down..

Nice rooms, newer facility. Only complaint was load music on Saturday night that could be heard in my room. We were on the 3rd floor so hard to tell where it was coming from but definitely from inside the hotel. All else was good.

The mattresses were very comfortable, but the shower head sprayed in a way that would flood the floor if you didn’t point the head at the wall so you had to stand kind of awkward while showering. The breakfast was simple but good little tid bits were offered!

The pillow top mattress was flipped which made the bed super hard. We also had a running toilet most the night. Besides these two things it’s a great location and the staff was great.

Excellent breakfast (real eggs!) and very convenient dining options within a walkable distance. One disappointment was the noise. The hotel is on a moderately busy road, but the insulation on the building was terrible and the sound of every motorcycle and vehicle came through and kept us awake.

The parking lot was well illuminated. I felt very safe staying there. It was quiet. I’m glad it was pet free because of my allergies. The only negative thing I could say about my stay was the bed. I could feel the springs. Ugh.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. And it was clean, just not spotless. There were 2 strings/balls of fuzz in the hall the 2 days i was there. Not a bad stay, but not on my list of places i would return.

There is a lot full of semis that ran the loud trucks during our second night. Sounded like an air compressor was going off all night outside our window and we did not sleep.

The only reason that I didn’t give it five stars was the breakfast. I can’t image tougher eggs. Sausage was so-so. Too bad that I didn’t see the hard boiled eggs until the end. The staff are also great, knowledgeable and welcoming.

Breakfast and coffee in the mornings was perfect for them because it allowed them to stay longer in the mornings. The only issue was the noise level coming from the road was loud. Motorcycles woke up my in-laws several times throughout the night. Also, one day riding up the elevator there was a strong odor of marijuana. Almost like someone smoked in the elevator or one of the closest rooms to the elevator. Not a huge deal but pretty gross and embarrassing for all of us.

They advertise a hot tub, but the hot tub barely even swirls. Let alone has any bubbles, when we brought it to the front desk's attention. We were just told that it's a 25-year-old hot tub, so keep that in mind. It's basically just an oversized tub, but everything was clean and the room was clean and the beds were soft. Staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious! I would stay again!

I stayed at this hotel in 2022 with no problem. This time in 2024, when we asked for extra key for the room and were given one, we encountered rude staff Lucero who overcharged us. When I got the bill, I find that they changed my reservation without disclosing this to me in advance, and they charged me more money for an additional person. We did not have an additional person. We only had 2 people. One person was disabled and we needed a key for the driver to help with the bags. When I contacted the hotel for a refund due to their mistake, they refused. I was told by Lucero at the front desk, that I should have read her mind via ESP to know that they had mysteriously changed my reservation to add more people and charge me more money, and I should have somehow found them to "reconfirm" that we only have two people. When I turned in my key after our one night stay, there was no one at the desk. How am I supposed to read her mind? How am I supposed to "reconfirm" when no one is there? I had to dispute the extra charges from my credit card company. Lucero refused to give me a refund and correct their mistake, bc again, I should have somehow read their mind and intuited these extra charges that they never disclosed beforehand. I cannot address an issue I have no idea is happening and the hotel needs to disclose any extra charges in advance instead of hiding them.

This motel was really convenient to stay, hospitality, welcoming, very clean, good and extra space in the rooms. Breakfast was amazing and kids enjoyed the pool. The neighbours is really active and close from restaurant, attractions, and city centre

We had to change rooms because the refrigerator and microwave did not work, on a different floor The sofa bed did not have bedding, when it arrived, we were responsible to take care of it. The staff was very nice, but the manager was not available. We had a roach that fell from the curtain above the air conditioner, but it disappeared.

Stayed one night for an Edgefield concert. Great location a short walk to Edgefield. The hotel is average, as Best Western properties are. We would like to see them go back to using glassware in the rooms for guests...no-one should be drinking out of plastic cups wrapped in plastic film in this day and age...it is neither environmentally sound, nor pleasing for guests to have to use plastic cups for beverages, especially at these room rates. Additionally, the breakfasts could be a lot healthier and better prepared. There is virtually no consideration of vegetarians or vegan guests in what's on offer...soggy, watery, cold oatmeal just doesn't cut it. Are those eggs even real?

Overall a fine stay. We were on the first floor with a busy truck parking lot outside our window, and only the sheer curtains closed. The opaque curtains were on fixed hangars and could not be moved. This felt uncomfortable and let light into our room all night. The room was fine - very small/tight bathroom, but it worked.

Could be better how to treat customers whenever staff make decisions for their customers when they should not.

Family weekend trip to Peony Farms and waterfalls.

My bf and I stayed for a week and had a wonderful vacation. Everyone we encountered while we stayed at this hotel was lovely, helpful, and professional. When we first got there, the AC in our room wasn't working, but they fixed it by moving us to another room right away. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. They did a great job making up the room while we were out. Breakfast was pretty good. Not really sure about the neighborhood, it seemed ok enough and we felt safe, but we didn't really do much there, we traveled outside of the neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.
