Room was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and firm enough. Breakfast was good.

Older hotel but pretty clean, staff extremely friendly. Hot water is not great nor were the pillows. Housekeeping does not come every day but you can still get more towels etc… Internet goes in and out but plenty of parking and really close to airport.

Rooms were clean, nicely styled, with comfortable beds. Staff was extremely helpful, especially shuttle drivers. Pool was small but nice. Rear parking lot had good birding opportunities! Also recommend Cattletown steakhouse as a nearby restaurant the free shuttle will take you to.

Noisy room. I could not sleep.

BEWAR OF ROACHES...We found roaches in the bathroom within a few hours after checking in. I called the front desk to report the problem and to request refund and the Manager offered a whooping $10 refund.

Room was clean and comfortable. Just what we needed for a canceled flight. Airport shuttle was prompt and drivers were friendly. Front desk was professional, courteous and efficient. I would stay there again.

Clean and quiet

I don't know if all the rooms have the same bathroom but the water leaked out of the handicap shower. It was all over the floor. Also I would recommend installing a towel rack or hook along the sink for guests to hang small towels to dry.

The hotel was clean, staff was great and it is very close to the airport. Extremely convenient if you have an early morning or late night flight. You don't hear planes. It was very quiet. Highly recommend.

The hotel staff was the best part about this excellent accommodation. Every staff person was friendly and willing to help. I always choose Hampton Inn because they have a fresh, plentiful breakfast with good coffee available 24-7.

Though not ideal location for our purpose (Saguaro NP) it was easy to get in and out and where we wanted to go.

Everything about the hotel was excellent, staff included. Breakfast great! My only problem were the pillows…..too small and flattened easily even when doubled up. Staff replaced them for the second night, and we might possibly stay a third white we tour the area. The hotel is a bit dated but is still in good shape.

Staff was helpful and accommodating. Air conditioning in first room didn’t work. It blasted air for a few minutes and then turned off. Staff was helpful and moved me to a better room. I heard that some of the AC units don’t work properly. Maybe they should be fixed. This is AZ after all.

Excellent property. The breakfast and coffee was better than usual and attended to with extraordinary care. I loved that the AC was not next to the bed. The rooms ending in 13 are extra large. The pool and sitting area very inviting. Distance to airport very convenient. Not close to better dining.

Great stay - JUST STEPS FROM AIRPORT. We walked to and from, it was entirely safe and hotel staff welcomed us when we arrived after midnight. Couldn't be easier. Quick 1/2 mile walk from TUC.

We got robbed at the parking lot. Their cameras do not work. And the personnel do not help with absolutely nothing. The police said that they have had many many reports of this hotels for cars stolen. So be careful and do not rent in this property

We loved the breakfast in the morning. Had a long day of flying ahead, and it was great to have a light meal before our 12 hour journey. Many thanks to all> No clock in the room. I went downstairs thinking it was 6AM and it really was 3 am. No big deal, I went back to bed and waited for our wake-up call!

Juice machine was broken for most of our stay. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom emitted a sewer smell. Some staff were extremely friendly where others were rude. Very close to the airport. However, planes could not be heard at night.

First room we were given stank so bad, so we asked for another room. Second room had the same odor, but not as strong. I think the odor came from the shower drainage pipe. Perhaps the room had not been used for a while. Towels were threadbare. Pillows were uncomfortable. Breakfast was awful. Oatmeal was watery, eggs were fake, and meats were horrible. There was nothing to drink, other than coffee; no water or juice. They ran out of oranges. Had to go to Denny’s for breakfast. Used to stay in a Hampton Inn all the time. Never again!

You're mid shift registration lady Debbie was an absolute delight. She was so helpful and informative and just as friendly as could be.rooms at this location but for the most part it was comfortable. We stayed in room 121 and were unable to use the fridge due to it being warm as the seal was coming off.

Rooms were clean, all staff were sweet!!! I would stay again if and or when i come through this area again.

My fault, I thought I booked a king room with pull out…..went back to the desk and the lady wasn’t friendly, had an attitude and stated many times that she wasn’t going to accommodate us other than bring a cot. Since we booked through hotels dot com she was not going to move us to another room even though she stated she had some available. The room smelled terrible like someone just used the bathroom and she said she could send someone to spray air freshener! Other than that the stay was ok, spark next door is way cleaner and nicer

Breakfast items were just ok. Egg white "omlet". Very blah and the sliced sausage wasn't great. Both were barely warm. The staff and service was great. The rooms are nice size and comfortable. Not much lighting though. Pretty outdated but that didnt bother us.

We called ahead and told our room was ready - we paid extra for a balcony. Went to check in and told they weren’t ready as promised and advised to check into another room as we had driven all night and counted on a room to relax into as promised. Was never compensated since we paid extra and couldn’t get a balcony room. The room itself was pretty meh and typical quick hotel lodging with a tv that barely worked too the remote was bad.

The pictures made the property look a lot nicer and that’s definitely not what it looked like on the inside. The refrigerator in my room did not work, the TV in the room did not work. And the air conditioner hardly turned on. I did call to question some charges on my card and the person that I spoke to her name was Britney. She didn’t like the fact that I was calling to question them and at the end of the phone call basically hung up on me so that was very rude. I can definitely say that I would not stay there again.

Every team member I encountered was attentive, friendly, and genuinely smiling each time they greeted me — and that kind of positive energy was the best motivation I could have asked for during this trip. The breakfast attendant was exceptionally professional, and the meal was delicious. The front desk staff were equally outstanding — always kind and sincere in every interaction. I’m truly grateful for good people like this. Thank you for reminding me that we live in a great country filled with blessings. Because of this experience, Hampton Inn Tucson will remain my go-to hotel for the rest of my career — and honestly, it’s one of the reasons I’m seriously thinking about retiring in the Tucson area.

Our room was upgraded to a suite and that was super nice.

We checked in for an early morning flight from TUS. Didn't have breakfast. Up at 4 AM, took 5 PM shuttle. The room was spacious and somewhat handicapped friendly. Only a single desk chair and very large oversized couch which wasn't handicapped friendly. The bedding was to heavy for the Tucson Climate. The 2 pillows were inadequate and not firm enough making for a poor short night's sleep.

Comfy bed, super soft sheets, nice staff, shuttle…not much more one needs for a one night stay before and early flight!

I enjoyed the stay went to dinner at pinnacle peak then ate wonderful breakfast after working out at gym. Close to airport but no noise and close to local mission San Xavier del bac a beautiful historic site.

The overall hotel appearance is rather "tired" and could use a renovation, however, its located just a block or so from departing/arriving flights at Tuscon International Airport, which is super convenient. It took only 4 min to drop my daughter off at departing flights, by car. There are shuttles that are available any time as well. The staff was very pleasant & helpful. The breakfast was standard. Coffee was good.

The pool was not useable because of plant debris but because of high winds that was probably unavoidable I liked the dining area with the availability to sit on a cushioned surface since my back was hurting. I always try to stay at Hampton Inns when I travel I really should sign up for your loyalty program.

Great convenient to airport place to stay. We were only there 1 night, gore an early flight. Staff is kind and professional. Lacks 5 stars only due to unpleasant odor from bathroom plumbing. Sad to say we’ve experienced worse odor at our last stay…this we dealt with easily and would stay again

We live about 2 hrs from Tucson airport so we often stay at the Hampton inn when we have either a very early flight or we arrive very late on our return. We find it convenient, clean, quiet and their 24 hr shuttle is great.

Despite these challenges, I must commend the staff. The front desk representative was exceptionally helpful and accommodating as I navigated these issues. The maintenance team responded to address the odor concerns, and the bus driver kindly assisted me with my luggage. It seems these problems may stem from underlying maintenance issues that require more comprehensive attention from management. The dedicated staff deserves better working conditions and the tools needed to provide guests with the quality experience expected from the Hampton Inn brand.

Great stay, no issues

This was a great location to enjoy both the Saguaro National Park (east) and the Pima Air and Space Museum. We did not notice the plane noice in our room. Breakfast was better than most. Clean and friendly staff throughout the hotel.

Oue 4 night stay at Hampton was quite pleasant. We were very satisfied with the hot breakfast buffet items. We will absolutely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

Building 4 is where the 1401 is located - That’s not intuitive and there was not good signage for the 4 th building or how to get to 1401 - the rooms are getting pretty outdated . Needs a facelift

I had to request a room change because of high bleach smell. The second room was better but outdated. Hotel overall is outdated and breakfast not great at all.

Reliable shuttle to airport

Needed a hotel after our flight was canceled. Hampton is close to the airport and has a shuttle and free breakfast and worked out well.

Only disappointment was the exorbitant prices of snacks at the snack shop.

Clean, quiet hotel with great customer service representatives!

There was no closet. One wall had several brackets attached to it as a make shift closet substitute. The arrangement was covered by a large curtain. There was plenty of room for a regular closet. A little carpentry could accomplish that. The balcony space could have been used for that purpose. There was only one small sink for a room clearly designed for more than one guest. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable, the shower had shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers, a common trend today. The room was clean, smoke free and the A/C unit worked very well. The TV was querky, but a call to the front desk solved the problem. All the staff we came in contact with were cordial, professional and eager to please. Despite the few negatives, we enjoyed our brief stay and would return should the need arise.

Overall our stay was good but I would not say this is a 9 star rating, probably a solid 8. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Overall the room was clean. The front desk service was excellent. On the downside, the shower is stained from dirt and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned. The room and bathroom are extremely small with very little space to put your things. Breakfast was ok, not quite what we’re used to from Hampton Inn. The serving area was very small and cramped. There was nowhere near enough seating for all the people eating breakfast. Also at the time of booking and our stay, hotels.com had every room with one king bed also listed with a sofa bed which is what we needed. Apparently that is not the case at this hotel and it created some difficulties. Hampton Inn provided a rollaway bed but this is the 2nd time hotels.com has listed inaccurate information for our booking.

The breakfast was good with a lot of choices hot and cold. Very close to the airport but not much for dining options even with a short drive. Usually my stays at Hampton Inns are way above average but the facility has maintenance issues.

Close to airport and we were able to leave our car while gone for a week. Not any amenities in bathroom like shampoo, etc. but overall comfortable and quiet. Shuttle to airport available at all hours.

My only disappointment was the lack of an accessible bathroom with 2 beds. My mother had difficulty navigating the room with her walker, and the toilet was much to close to the floor for her to get up. We needed 2 beds as we were 3 people.

Area was okay; convenient to the airport but not an area to walk around. Our room had some electrical issues- the refrigerator worked inconsistently. They were kind enough to switch out the fridge but the issue appeared to be with the outlet. Overall, a nice stay. Go there for the kind and friendly staff, and great breakfast.
