Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating the cleanliness, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. However, there are consistent complaints about noise from the street and freeway, as well as issues with hot water and room cleanliness.

Was close to all downtown activities relatively walking distance has a good bar and Resturant

Its good. Its location is inside a downtown high rise including other businesses on other floors, so it was interesting.

We came down from Phoenix to see a comedy show. The hotel was in close proximity to the legendary Riolato Theater. The restaurant was perfect for a late night snack. Our room was clean and cozy..plus we were able to log into Prome and being the Morning Show. It was exactly what we needed to a

Great hotel in a convenient downtown location. Very modern room with excellent amenities. The hotel restaurant had a great lunch menu and there are several dinner options within easy walking distance if you want to go out.

This was our second visit to this hotel and it was really nice both times.
- 5/5
The bed is super comfortable the whole room is just so calming and peaceful. It’s my favorite hotel to stay at every time I’m in Tucson
- 1/5
This was a terrible experience overall. Elevators broken. No hot water in the showers. Messaging in app not working. No toiletries. No bathrobe. No slippers. No way to order breakfast. Just awful.
- 3/5
All the front desk staff I encountered after Chris who was great when I first checked in were in training and my card was charged multiple times, even though my stay was fully paid for in advance!! None of the staff knew how to remedy it and finally after my insistence the general manager was called and he was helpful. However one charge was for $1300 that even he wasn't sure how or why my card was charged? I spent a lot of my stay stressed out calling my credit card company trying to get the charges reversed. When checking out, on my way to the airport a trainee told me my card was declined for a room I had already paid for in FULL on hotels.com. The front desk manager then appeared she acted condescending and wasn't helpful. I finally asked for the general manager again who when he finally arrived from his office let them all know they were mistaken and I could leave for the airport. I would like to say I'd stay here again as the location is great, the restaurant staff lovely, but the issues with the front desk trainees and front desk manager and multiple charges to my card has put me off entirely. No apology from the front desk staff for any of the inconvenience. Too bad.
- 5/5
The room and especially the location..just across the street from the Fox Theatre! Only one coffee pod in the room (tgey had one decaf, one regular) That was the only improvement that I noticed was needed.

We arrived very late, the staff was friendly. Bed very comfortable and very clean room and bathroom. Just sorry we were not able to enjoy the other amenities!
- 3/5
Hotel was ok. Busy area with cars zooming past in the middle of the night. Rooms were small. Hotel restaurant needs to update its menu. Valet service was very good.
- 5/5
If there was one thing I was a little put off by it was $39/day for Valet (quite steep for Tucson) and $10/day for wi-fi. At most hotels wi-fi is now included. But all in all, I would stay here again. It's elegant.
- 3/5
Nice, clean rooms and comfortable bed. Only one coffee pod in the room and no coffee, tea, or water in the lobby. Parking on top of room expense was a lot.

The hotel is well located, the staff helpful and the room comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The parking lot is hard to identify, there is no instruction on how to get to the parking spots until you are deep into the parking. Also, the voice call in the parking device is barely working with a very poor sound quality. Another issue was that the "high floor" option was indeed in the middle of the building, but still mostly obstructed by other buildings. High floor should be higher in the building.

Parking was safe and underground so our car remained cool during hot days. Parking was extra. Our room was beautiful and clean and quiet. The hotel was beautifully decorated and unique from the moment we stepped in the front door. I loved all the potted plants. Overall it was a great experience.

Hotel was nice, $39 for parking and a cumbersome wifi system sign in took away from the experience. Location and staff were nice.

Beautiful hotel loved the fecor. . The restaurant was great. We had dinner, and the ribeye was perfect. The bar made a really good old fashioned. We had room service for breakfast. That was also really good. We had an omelet, French toast, and side of bacon. The bed was okay. Could have been a little more comfortable.

- 3/5
Being harassed by the parking team (Christina from the garage) for demanding to move the car already parked, because there is only a limited, special area in the parking garage for the hotel, considering the high parking fee of $32 per day, was not acceptable to me.
- 5/5
Absolutely outstanding staff.
- 5/5
One of the best hotels in a long time! From the moment we arrived, the team at reception was outstanding. Stephanie, the hotel manager assisted us fulfilling our needs upon arrival. It is a beautiful property, comfortable rooms, and a great bathroom. We intend to enjoy another stay in a few weeks.
- 5/5
rooms were very clean and all hotel was excelent
- 2/5
Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. We stayed for three nights, and when we arrived, our room was filthy. There were dust bunnies coming from the vents, tape hanging from the ceiling, visible dirt and hair in the shower, and soap residue everywhere. Even the lampshades were worn out and looked neglected. The worst part was the bed. The sheets were heavily wrinkled and stained. You honestly couldn’t tell whether someone had just slept in them or if that’s how housekeeping considered them “clean.” The photo attached shows exactly how we found the bed — that was not after we slept in it. That is how it looked upon arrival. We were shown two additional rooms, and both were in similarly poor condition. A third room was slightly better, but by that point we had already spent so much time dealing with the issue and had a dinner reservation to get to, so we had no choice but to take it. The staff offered us a complimentary dinner for that night only , that they gracefully allowed us to use it for a lunch. Great location, but the hotel desperately needs a deep, thorough cleaning and much better housekeeping standards.

- 5/5
Room was nice, clean, spacious. The best element was the front desk staff - all were gracious, pleasant and professional. A special shout-out for Ajah (Asia?) - who shared her thoughts/experiences with us on rental apartments in the area (our trip was to explore apartments for our move to Tucson). Her willingness to make our visit better even though our question had nothing to do with the hotel, was greatly appreciated!

TV didn't work... missed the end of the world series game. Fridge didn't work, 3 days without replacing tissue paper even though the empty box was displayed prominently. Power outage, and nobody could explain. No coffee downstairs, no coffee cups downstairs. Service at the hotel bar was almost nonexistent. Paid a lot of money to enjoy a supposedly high end downtown hotel and was thoroughly disappointed.
- 5/5
Great vibe, clean and new.
- 2/5
The hotel’s location was great, and it honored requests for early check-in and late check-out. However, the cleanliness of the room was a major issue. Upon arrival, there was trash on the floor, including an old used band-aid, and the carpet had visible stains, one of which looked like oatmeal rubbed into the fibers. The sconce bulb was out but was fixed after contacting guest services, and the bathroom sink, which was leaking, was repaired after another call to guest services the next day. I was informed the bar was closed midday due to staffing shortages, and on the final day, there was no hot water for a shower. The staff was cordial but seemed disengaged, offering no extra effort, and Marriott status went unacknowledged. Despite high ratings on Bonvoy Marriott and Expedia, my family’s experience fell far short of expectations. The aesthetics and decor didn’t match the service we received.
- 4/5
Overall, I was very happy with my stay. The hotel is well-kept. We ate at the restaurant. I had the airline chicken and my son had the risotto. Both dishes were good but extremely salty. The dishes had nice flavor, so not sure why the chef relies on salt so much. The room was nice—some road noise from the street. I would stay there again, but I would not eat at the restaurant.

- 0.5/5
The room’s air conditioning was very poor and the room was noisy from the traffic from the street below.
- 5/5
What a beautiful hotel! Everything is new with crisp, clean design. Staff were very friendly at both check-in and in the restaurant and bar. We got a very nice upgrade to a large suite with deep bathtub and huge shower! We ate dinner at their restaurant and the scallops and halibut were excellent! We walked downtown a bit and found a nice bourbon bar, Batch, just a few blocks away. Parking is easy underground, although they do charge for that service. We would definitely go back!
- 5/5
Modern design and furniture, very comfortable bed, located centrally near downtown and easy access to other parts of Tucson. Parking was kind of confusing at first.
- 5/5
Clean room and close to restaurants and bars

The rooms were clean and spacious, great staff
- 5/5
Excellent design, with its own character. Parking fee
- 5/5
Room decor Parking, self parking was awful tickets didn't work,.had to go to the front desk multiple times

The only negative was street/traffic noise as my room was on the west side of the building. I ended up using a white noise app on my phone to sleep.

Room: 918 *Shower leaked badly onto the bathroom floor and carpet outside of bathroom while showering. Staff already aware of the issue and still assigned me to this room without any warning. *Multiple bath towels and bed cover with stains. *Air conditioner didn't blow direct cool air. Staff stated "whisper quiet"air and room "will eventually get to the temp selected." Staff gave me a VERY loud fan that I couldn't sleep with because of the noise. My rest was diminished immensely trying to sleep in a lukewarm room. *Safe didn't work and it took the engineer over an hour and a half to arrive and fix it. *Bed was lumpy, overly firm and uncomfortable. *Shower gel bottle was completely empty when I checked in. *Valet staff told me that valet for my vehicle wasn't available when I checked in at 8:15PM. A HUGE reason that I selected this property was the valet service since I have a very nice car. Beyond disappointing. *Hairs from previous guests (and other debris) VERY visible on the carpet when I checked in. *Assigned the wrong floor when I checked in. I directly booked the 9th floor and was initially assigned a 2nd floor room. Fortunately the front desk staff adjusted their error after I made them aware of the mistake. *You can clearly hear the music from the nearby clubs/bars late into the evening...even from my 9th floor room. *No bathroom fans or air fresheners for use after a #2. The ONLY bright spot was Kelsey the bartender (5 stars)
- 3/5
Felt very new and trendy Extremely loud road noise from cars and motorcycles. We were on the 2nd level.
- 4/5
Convenient location. Parking was a little confusing, but ultimately ok. Nice hotel.
- 5/5
The check in was super easy and fast, the room was well decorated and clean, the location was perfect for access downtown!
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay in downtown Tucson.
- 5/5
Great staff, valet. Be prepared to pay for parking. Typical downtown rate. Room was clean and beautiful. Wonderful restaurant.
- 4/5
Room was nice, had a small sign that called it our room the urban room and that we could move if it became to loud. Unfortunately it was after 11 pm when we heard all the noise (loud cars and a train) so we didn’t get a lot of sleep. The restaurant had high reviews but what we had, burgers and tacos tasted burnt.
- 5/5
The suite that they upgraded us to was comfortable and well appointed. The very best part was the free standing tub. We went for a nightcap and sat for about 10 minutes, no one approached us so we went to the room instead. The bar area is beautiful though.
- 5/5
It was a lovely upscale property with very pleasant and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Nicely renovated property with friendly staff. Walking distance to concert venues. Comfortable lobby and bar. Excellent food at restaurant. Nice, clean room and bathroom. If you like strong water pressure in the shower, this is the place for you! It was so strong he shower drain couldn’t handle it well, which is my only complaint.
- 5/5
Awesome downtown hotel. The staff upgraded us to a suite. The suite is super clean, great decor, comfy bed. The bathroom is huge and well appointed. We really loved the suite. We plan to come back.
- 3/5
Our bathroom overflowed and we’re moved to another room at midnight. After it happened I checked reviews and it had just happened before to another guest. Given breakfast vouchers for it but serving staff made us feel like we were freeloaders using them. We were given the restaurant menu, once they saw the vouchers they brought out a simple paper menu. We were the only guests eating breakfast, took long to get our food served and didn’t come back for refills on drinks. Parking was a steep $32, the ground parking garage was detailed with arrows where to park. There’s sections for tenants. Guest park further in. We did appreciate the front desk staff who offered to comp the fee. Downtown traffic doesn’t stop, cars are so loud. This hotel is for the business people because meeting rooms are beautiful and many places to sit with incredible chairs.
- 4/5
Menu at restaurant very limited - food preparation average- the staff were very good and attentive
- 5/5
After trying to charge my EV at a public station which failed, decided to stay and made reservation. On the way there, i ran completely out of power right in front of The Kent. Ethan, the valet person, saw it happen and helped me push my car to a safe parking space without even knowing I was going to be a guest. Battery, including reserve, was completely drained. He had me go to check in and spent hours making sure I got enough charge to get back in the road safely. This type of dedication to the universality of kindness flowed through every part of the hotel in all if the staff. While certainly not the cheapest, certainly one of the best stays in my 30+ years of personal and professional al travels! Thanks to all the staff and may the peace you spread come back to you all 100 fold!
- 5/5
Everyone was very kind and welcoming. The room was very clean and upgraded, loved the decor throughout. Breakfast was delicious.
- 5/5
Çhurch St side rooms have a lot of traffic noise.,...
- 1/5
They rape your credit card. Double charged me for parking $39 twice. They don’t mention parking is not included
- 5/5
Beautiful property, reall comfortable beds and pillows, awesome shower with great water pressure, our room and the property were very clean. Front office team were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Saranhi and Stephanie were particularly helpful when I mistakenly selected the wrong check-in date.
- 5/5
We loved the hotel and the dining/bar. The room and hotel are beautiful. Unfortunately, it was so loud and we kept waking up to cars reving their engines racing through downtown literally all night. That’s not the hotels fault at all, but it did make us think twice about staying downtown again. Plus the homeless situation was pretty bad.
- 4/5
Good location great facilities
- 5/5
Beautiful and great service
- 3/5
This property has a lot of potential unfortunately poor execution detracts from the Marriot Bonvoy brand. $39 per night valet parking and the valet always seemed to be awol. The shower leaked all over the bathroom requiring use of all the towels provided to clean it up. That was unfortunately the only cleaning that happened. We reported that our room had not been cleaned and needed fresh towels. We did receive fresh towels but no effort was made to clean the room. Another unfortunate problem and not the hotels fault is the continuous road noise including street racing Saturday night into Sunday morning. We were on the 9th floor and surprised how much noise there was.
- 5/5
Great location and a beautiful property.

The hotel later and they had power. Did you just not want us to stay there?
- 5/5

Power TV phone and Wi-Fi out. Should be refunded
- 2/5
The internet didn't work but they wouldn't rebate any money even though it cost me a lot of money in order to do the business I needed to do.
- 2/5
Did not like very much, no internet, WiFi, TV,hotel phone for 36+ hours. Extremely noisy, did not sleep for 2 nites due to speedway/raceway noise, loud music till 3:30- 4:30 am.
- 5/5
Like this hotel. I stay every chance I have an opportunity
- 5/5
Excited to stay again

- 5/5
Great place, classy, cool vibe, good location and the staff is super friendly.
- 5/5
Pros: comfortable seating options in-room, mini-fridge, walk-in shower, FANTASTIC water pressure, the hotel restaurant was very knowledgeable about food allergies and were so thoughtful about accommodating my needs. Cons: sleep disruptions from extremely bright indicator lights on ceiling-mounted device (alarm?) and enthusiastic drivers revving/racing outside after midnight, lobby is highly scented (which surprisingly didn't cause migraine and was a lovely fragrance for once, but might be a concern for others).
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. We went to the Arena to watch Jeff Dunham and it was a wonderful walk.
- 5/5
We just stopped in Tucson on our drive from Texas to California. Very nice respite after our long drive. Rooms are nice. We had dinner at the bar and it was decent. It’s conveniently right off the highway. We would stay here again.
- 4/5
This hotel looks lovely and is in a great location. But charging for W-Fi in this day and age?! Cheap. The valet parking staff especially should be mentioned: They were polite, friendly, and prompt.
- 1/5
Double billed which I had to have no less than 5 phone calls before they figured it out, and even after that, still didn't provide the updated folio. Had to do a chargeback.
- 5/5
Love love loveddd
- 5/5
Keep doing whatever you’re doing cause it works. Just put a clearer map in the parking garage cause it’s a labyrinth down there
- 5/5
What a lovely hotel ! Beautifully designed to reflect Tucson.
- 5/5
Outstanding, beyond my expectations
- 5/5
This is a nice, newer 9-story hotel in a 22-story office building. Get a 9th floor, west facing room if you can, for the mountain views. The location is convenient, with the trolley to U of A right outside. Coffee shops, whiskey bars, restaurants and funky shops are all nearby. The downstairs restaurant is nice, but very pricey. Friendly staff. Recommended.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Front desk was awesome! Room was very nice with a great shower.
- 5/5
It was great!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, great central location and friendly service.
- 5/5
Stayed for a business trip. Staff was very helpful the rooms are well appointed (4 of us stayed in different rooms), restaurant food was very good, and I would highly recommend this hotel for any reason if staying in downtown Tucson.
- 5/5
This hotel is a cut above the mainstream commercial hotels under the Hilton or Marriott banners. The restaurant serves very good food, the location is not ideal for walking around, but this is a solid property.
- 5/5
Leo Kent in Tucson was a unique comfortable hotel. I will stay Again.
- 5/5
The hotel is very well located. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Very nice room. My husband and I were traveling from CA to TX with our large dog so that's always a challenge but everyone was so welcoming and nice. Convention center right there with a nice grassy area to walk the dog. Would definitely recommend.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Maintained. Excellent and friendly service from front desk staff.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 5/5
Our stay was amazing. The staff and service were impeccable. Our room was upgraded to the corner suite overlooking the Fox Theater and it was so cool and super private and quiet. Will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Rooms are very nice and amenities are way above standard.
- 4/5
Staffing was not good in the restaurant but the coffee and food was very good ! There could be some improvement in the main entryway esthetic . Seating was disjointed and potted plants grouping looked a bit thrown together and was not consistent with the rest of the hotel.
- 5/5
If you’re looking for quality and comfort, look no further than The Leo Kent—they truly have it all and more.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Great location downtown. Staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Shelby in the restaurant was amazing! It was a great time. Will stay there again.
- 5/5
I could hear loud noise from the street until about 3:00 in the morning. It sounded like a party on the street and drag racing. Was a little hard to sleep.
- 5/5
Room was lovely. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel!
- 3/5
The TV did not work for the first few hours of our stay. No one had come to fix it before we left for a concert. No room service menu in the room. Beds were comfortable, staff was nice, room was clean.
- 4/5
We had a one night stay at this absolutely beautiful hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were in town for a concert at the Fox Theater which was just across the street. We had a few staff issues including a rude man at check in, forgotten food at breakfast and the valet taking a really long time because they brought me someone else's car! I wanted to love this place but that was a lot of things to go wrong in the 18 hours we stayed at the hotel. Also we had room that overlooked I10 and if we stayed again I would request a room on the other side of the building. I had to sleep with earplugs.
- 4/5
The hotel is in a great location in the downtown area.
- 5/5
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and every single person who worked at LK was exceedingly nice and went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay! For being in the heart of downtown the rooms were whisper quiet (sure there is occasional traffic noise but jeez you’re literally downtown in a major metro area you can’t avoid that.) however I never heard a single door slam, a TV, people talking or just the general comings and goings of other patrons - and the hotel was fairly busy. And the Apotheke shampoo conditioner and soap was *chefs kiss* Highly recommend staying at this gem (Oh given it’s in the heart of downtown I think the underground valet parking is a thousand percent worth the $39/day)
- 5/5
loved our stay!
- 5/5
The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of luxury and coziness. The amenities were top-notch, and the location was ideal for exploring the city. I can’t wait to return on my next trip—highly recommended!
- 5/5
great hotel
- 2/5
The room was unexpectedly super small for the price I paid and as we went to leave we were accused of our card declining (we paid the time of check in, full prices and fees) and they attempted to charge us the full price AGAIN along with extra fees for no reason. They tried to charge our card 10 times. Thank God our bank only allowed a certain limit for the hotel. Almost got scammed
- 5/5
This hotel is wonderful! The staff is great and the rooms are warm and inviting.
- 5/5
This is my second time staying at this property and absolutely love it. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Staff exceed expectations with customer centric. St. Cruz restaurant in the lobby is amazing. Food and cocktails are great. My only feedback will be to improve service at the bar; I am yet to get a Wow service at the bar.
- 5/5
The beds were so comfortable after a long, exhausting day it was like sleeping on a cloud.
- 5/5
A short night because of my schedule. But we loved this place! Nice property!
- 5/5
Great hotel in a great location. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. I will stay here again when I come back.
- 5/5
Great hotel in the heart of Tucson. Close walking to a variety of restaurants. Value was excellent.
- 4/5
Good business hotel with walkable access to restaurants and bars.
- 5/5
The location was a 10 and the employees all were very nice and friendly
- 5/5
Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff.
- 3/5
The hotel itself was very nice and clean and the bed was comfortable The hotel staff seemed very unenthusiastic and not very welcoming. The bath was out of shower gel/soap, which I didn't realize until I was in the shower and too late. And the windows had no sound insulation, so the noise from every car that drove by and the music from the night club down the street kept us up all night.

Dramatically overpriced for what you get. No pool. Room service breakfast came in doggy bags. Good exercise room. Good location. Staff was unhelpful. I wanted the Graduate on campus but it was full and now I understand why this place had vacancy

I was a little disappointed at my recent stay at the Leo Kent. While the hotel was clean and staff very nice, i could not get hot water in the shower both mornings I was there. Also the windows I had available in the room were very small and the window treatments covered most of them so I felt like I was closed in. All in all, my experience was more reminiscent of a corporate work trip vs. a vacation stay in Tucson.

The room was loud with both street noise and hotel noise but other than that wonderful stay.

Beautiful hotel, super friendly staff, close to great restaurants.
