Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews with guests appreciating the cleanliness, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. However, there were several complaints about noise, maintenance issues, and breakfast quality.

Great location, easy check in. The pool was lovely on a hot day. The room was comfortable. The only complaint was our room smelled of cigarette smoke. It was particularly strong in the bathroom and closet. Also, the tv was a complete pain To try and figure out. My tech savvy boys couldn’t get it to work. The breakfast was solid and service was friendly. Just hope next time not to have a smoke stained room.
- 5/5
Great place to stay in Vancouver, added bonus that it's close to Portland. Really liked how it was within walking distance to downtown Vancouver, was very convenient to walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel breakfast was good too, lots of options to choose from for breakfast so it made our mornings easier. Staff was very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway to Vancouver.
- 5/5
Jacob the front test clerk was very kind and professional.
- 4/5
A bit overpriced for the property. It's getting a bit old. Carpets probably need stripping/ changing. Would go again for a short stay
- 5/5
Breakfast was good and great location to sit down and enjoy. That we couldn't stay longer, date had an appt the next day so cut our check out time way down because I had to take him.
- 4/5
good location
- 4/5
Nothing extraordinary
- 5/5
The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. The only complaint was it was in a kind of a sketchy area. But then there are a lot of areas like that in Vancouver and Portland.
- 4/5
The breakfast served was pretty good with a wide variety of options. The coffee, though, was not very good.
- 3.5/5
Good location decent breakfast. Staff held my luggage for me until my afternoon train, an outstanding bonus.
- 1/5
This property is sadly in need of attention. The toxic smell in our hotel room was not improved with opening the window. Our room next to the elevator was super noisy, given the volume in the hallway. We could only close our hotel room door with a firm slam.“ No other rooms available,” according to staff, with a promise to move us to another room the following day. Next day we were told there are no rooms available. Electricity went out in most of the room to include the fridge, microwave, TV, outlets, and light fixtures. “Nothing can be done” according to staff on duty. We moved from a king to a crowded room with two double beds. No offer to reduce our nightly rate since we were not able to stay in the original higher priced room we booked for two nights. Breakfast items were not replenished 1.5 hours prior to end of breakfast hours. “We’re all out” said the one hard-working staff member in the breakfast room. Would not recommend this property.

Customer service. Comfort. Location
- 3.5/5
Inside the lobby it is very clean and they even maintain clearing the counter and area through the day. Out room was very clean. The sheets were fresh. There is no real areas for dogs to relieve themselves near the property. Just tiny curb spot across the parking area. And they have these weird beef frames where the metal pops out and can catch your leg or a small crawling baby or little dog. Ours was duck taped on the end but was still sharp. Not a good fix for that problem
- 5/5
Easy to find and centrally located. The breakfast was a little skimpy.
- 5/5
The hotel is pretty basic but is in a great location near a lot of restaurants (walkable).
- 4/5
It was nice to have Parking in Downtown Vancouver.
- 4/5
I have been here twice and both times the guests were very loud at night and also early in the morning in hallways. This has nothing to do with management, just the type of guests I guess.
- 4/5
The desk girl was very kind, She changed our room to a better one.

Check in was quick and efficient and the continental breakfast was delicious. I unfortunately had some sort of allergic reaction to my room, but the front desk was wonderful and quickly got me moved to another room. I also felt very safe as a solo traveler.
- 5/5
Location is excellent. I walked everywhere in downtown Vancouver. Hope to return with the family.
- 1/5
The Expedia app tried to help me, but the hotel management completely refused to assist me. They showed no concern for a customer, and honestly, if I ever travel to Portland again, I would never stay at this hotel.
- 4/5
The furnishings were a little tired, but clean. There was some noise from members of crew (rowing) teams that were staying there, but it was quiet at night. The hotel is close to restaurants, shopping, etc.
- 5/5
Clean room, awesome staff, large breakfast
- 5/5
The room was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, & the parking was ample. Breakfast was basic but more than adequate.
- 5/5
Just okay. Great for budget friendly.
- 5/5
clean but a little older
- 5/5
Friendly Staff. Clean rooms. Great location. Not a lot of choices at breakfast. Small elevator.
- 5/5
Not a lot of choices at breakfast. Small elevator.
- 3/5
The “suite” was extremely disappointing. The entire hotel smelled musty, and it seemed like the hotel tried to mask it with an overwhelming amount of air freshener, which only made the smell worse. The sofa was absolutely disgusting — heavily pilled, worn out, and looked dirty enough that I didn’t even want to sit on it. Overall, the room felt poorly maintained and nowhere near what I would expect from a suite experience.
- 5/5
Location and price Stayed here in the past and have nothing bad to say

- 4/5
Breakfast very little
- 3/5
rooms were clean breakfast was very good staff mostly friendly easy parking except the handicap ramp is in the back of the facilities. and we had hoped to have our grandchildren visit and play in the pool except it was closed had we'd known we'd gone everywhere
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 5/5
The rooms are nice and clean. Enjoy the fact they put multiple pillows on each bed. I also enjoy they still have microwaves in the rooms, as a lot of hotels are removing them. The breakfast is also always decent
- 4/5
Small rooms, small elevator
- 4/5
It was what we needed. Will start again.
- 5/5
Staff was great.
- 3/5
Bathroom wasn’t very clean, staff was great, Parking was free and easy, not a lot available for breakfast, Vending machines didn’t all work, the blackouts curtains dont close all the way letting light come in very early in the morning. Overall it was okay though for the price.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Staff was open, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Parking was great. Only problem was the TV was not properly connected. Did get it fixed.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay and everything was clean and well maintained. However, I phoned the front desk (twice using the "0" on the room phone and once using the local phone number) and the phone was never answered. I figured out the issue with my TV and other questions. But it would have been nice if someone would answer the phone at the front desk.
- 5/5
Clean and easy walk to downtown
- 1/5
The worst part was finding a pair of dirty socks left in the room, which made me question how well the room was cleaned overall. That’s definitely not something you want to come across when checking in. Overall, it did not meet the expectations set by the pictures, and I don’t think I would stay here again.
- 2/5
The pictures make it seem nicer than it is. Very outdated and run down. The beds seemed like they were broken. I was afraid to move to much. Not very clean. The breakfast was terrible, everything was undercooked and there wasn’t many options.
- 3.5/5
Location from Portland. There were bugs in my room. Tub wasnt clean
- 5/5
the breakfast was good and the parking was right outside the door.
- 3/5
Rooms are outdated and not clean. Window was wide open when we got there with a fully ripped screen (the room had an odd smell so I’m guessing they were trying to air it out). Breakfast was the typical continental breakfast.
- 3/5
The lady at the front desk was very friendly, check-in went well, this area of Vancouver is basically under the flight line of the Portland Oregon airport (PDX) and you get to listen to jets take off all night. The light on the TV cable box and clock on the microwave were very bright and I had to cover them up. The carpet at the entry way to way to the room was ripped up and the light in the shower flickered and sometimes turned off. The ATM in the lobby was broken and would not dispense any cash, the lady at the front desk said that she had been putting "Out of Order" signs on it but her boss kept taking them off. Breakfast was ok but there was no sausage or bacon and it its place someone had fried what seemed to be Summer Sausage instead which was not at all an ideal substitute. The elevator was slow and seemed to take forever to arrive even though when the doors opened no one was on it.
- 3/5
I was received well. Unfortunately I found the building and amenities very sub par. The lighting in the lobby was dim. In the hallways the lights are flickering constantly. In my room the bathroom light only had one lit when i tried to get the other bulb to light up it became apparent that it needed repair as it strobed aggressively. Furthermore when i tried to use the atm....it didnt have any cash. No notice saying it was out. The gym was very meager and the bathroom next to it smelled horrendous. Sadly i would rate this stay 3/10 i cannot reccomend a hotel that is not in proper working order.
- 3/5
Very comfortable for the price. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is the standard. The hotel is obviously older and could certainly do with some remodeling. The area around the hotel seems safe.
- 4/5
The front staff was great, the beds seemed smaller than other queens, the room felt cramped, mostly recommended for a quick stay not for many days, especially with children simply because it isn't too spacious. Overall well-maintained, quiet, and friendly staff. Kids enjoyed the complimentary breakfast a lot.
- 5/5
Excellent value. Clean and properly maintained with the required amenities. Breakfast is nice with plenty of choices. Highly recommend
- 4/5
It was totally fine. Nothing special, but clean, and easy and safe.
- 5/5
Stayed here many times it’s always clean and very friendly staff
- 4/5
Clean room, staff were friendly, and easy access off freeway.
- 4/5
Breakfast menu was good.
- 3/5
The vending machine had no bottled water which i prefer when traveling.
- 4/5
Took a bit to find breakfast room, staff great, food ok but not great - didn't care for choice of meat and eggs were a bit dry
- 5/5
Hotel was clean. Staff was always helpful
- 5/5
Yes it was awesome 💯
- 3/5
Overall ok
- 3/5
Hotel was clean. Hotel is older but for the price it was good. Check out was 11am. House keeping came to our room at 9 before we had a chance to pack up.
- 5/5
Yes.
- 5/5
Didnt use it
- 5/5
The pool was closed for the season which was disappointing and there was no hot tub but the hotel was great.
- 4/5
Ok
- 5/5
If I need a hotel in the PDX area. This is where I go.
- 5/5
Yes room was very comfortable thank you! And breakfast was extra amazing! We loved every bit!
- 5/5
Nice quiet place. Clean rooms and the bed was like sleeping in a cloud. Definitely be back
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable and the parking was convenient.
- 5/5
Sheets were a little stained but otherwise great
- 5/5
Great value.
- 3/5
The room was clean for the most part items left in the drawers from previous guests. The breakfast were substandard for a hotel could use some improvement. First day was scrambled eggs and some kind of a sausage second day was some kind of a fried egg and bacon.
- 5/5
Friendly service, great location. I love the free parking
- 4/5
no problems
- 5/5
I love this hotel. Everything about it.
- 5/5
Love the free parking too
- 5/5
We like the clean room, refrigerator, and microwave. The breakfast room is wonderful and the free parking is so appreciated. We always stay here during the yearly bridge tournament.
- 3/5
Breakfast was great and staff efficient and courteous. We had a concern with the condition of the room. Wasn’t as clean as we expected. We ended up tidying it up ourselves.
- 5/5
Clean, fresh sheets
- 5/5
Great staff members
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
The room was decent and the bed was comfortable but it was so loud all the time. There is no sound barrier. Check in staff was great. Not a bad place but pick your room carefully.
- 3/5
Friendly and attentive staff. Good breakfast options and very walkable to downtown locations. Only negative was uncomfortable beds and overall cleanliness could be improved.
- 3/5
Breakfast was great. The staff were awesome, especially Ariel. My bed was not comfortable and my room was very noisy. I didn't feel safe in my room as the locks appeared flimsy and the door didn't stay in place when anyone walked by. There was at least an inch and half of space at the bottom of the door, letting in light and all the sounds. I felt like I heard everyone who checked in or out of the hotel on an intimate level.
- 4/5
It was nice. Having the Black Angus Steak House right next door made a New Years Eve out on the road ok.
- 1/5
Someone camera took all the stuff out the room after it was rebooked
- 2/5
Hotel has potential but dang…. On arrival, I had to wait ten minutes for someone to come to
- 5/5
Very clean and central to many locations
- 5/5
Clean, quiet comfortable stay and the staff were fabulous
- 5/5
My room is clean, the staff is friendly and courteous.
- 5/5
Excellent stay. No issues other than the shower head. Nothing like getting clean just to have the shower head be crusty with white buildup and green mold on it.
- 5/5
Good place to stay in downtown Vancouver!
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable ,
- 3/5
Pool only open seasonally and not advertised as such. Breakfast closed to early. But overall was clean and in a good area
- 5/5
Good place to stay
- 1/5
The floor wasn't clean, not vacuumed. The walls and the doors inside the room is dirty. Foreign hairs on tile wall and the shower head is filthy. The headboard of the bed has a lot of wet/dry spots. The TV glitches every once in a while messing up the closed captioning. The only good thing is the mattress that I slept in was nice.
- 4/5
Polite staff, good location
- 5/5
Everything was perfectly fine. Clean room, friendly staff, breakfast was good. Coffee was hot!
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Quite and clean
- 2/5
The room was fine, it was smaller than I expected. The bathroom door was hard to open and close. It was a pocket door and it was very sticky. We were on the second floor and left our window open a crack overnight and there was a man smoking outside our window in the morning so close that the smoke wafted into our bedroom. The emergency door fire door was so large that it blocked full access to the elevator, making it difficult for the luggage cart to get in and out. And the biggest disappointment was with the breakfast that was included in our stay, there was no milk alternative, and so my husband was unable to eat anything except for the mystery meat that looked like hot dogs sliced up as breakfast sausage. Housekeeping staff was very kind, when I expressed my concerns and considerations to the staff, otherwise they didn't seem to care. We ended up going to the grocery store to get some non-dairy yogurt for. My husband, and the refrigerator was set in such a way that the yogurt froze. And the coffee was terrible.
- 5/5
Love it here as always. I especially love how close it is to lots of walking/running paths
- 5/5
Need to upgrade the door locks key card never working
- 5/5
Excellent staff, went above and beyond to help my son check in during a difficult time. So very grateful and thankful to the staff !
- 5/5
Yes excellent customer service 👏
- 4/5
Everything was very good, except when housekeeping clesnrd the room on the third day, they did not change the bedding with clean sheets. They simply made the bed with the same sheets which remained on the bed for 8 days.
- 5/5
Room was smaller than expected, but that could be my mis reading...still 5 stars even tho I felt a bit judged a few times. Probably won't be back, I have other places I prefer to stay than this one. Oh also, only 1 washer and dryer in he entire building! There was always somebody waiting for you to be done so they could do laundry. Come prepared with quarters, front desk only has 1 roll available to sell. I had to hoof it to Chevron hoping I didn't get skipped in line for a load. Very small washer.
- 5/5
Great basic rooms
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful as usual. I love staying here on my trips to Vancouver.
- 5/5
Awesome place
- 4/5
Room was clean and the staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
Clean
- 4/5
Nice room....clean, modern, quiet, large tv, comfy bed, good breakfast offerings
- 5/5
Friendly staff, nice room, good location, reasonable rate.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and very comfortable.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms.
- 5/5
Room, service, staff. All very, very good
- 3/5
The room only clean 1 day of the 5 day I was there. Every time I would walk in the lobby staff never greeted me. The continental breakfast starts at 6am, it should be early for us early workers. My wife called to tell them day anything for birthday? Since it was mine, they said they can do a card but I never received anything.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, breakfast, nice service. Good value for 2.5-3 star hotel.
- 1/5
I was in my room when they opened the door without any warning and walked in. I was half-naked there, and they kicked me out of the hotel. The woman who worked at the reception was very rude, and she said that she doesn’t care about anything — she will do whatever she wants and nothing will happen to her because of it.
- 4/5
Hotel was great, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Cleaning staff was also very thorough and kind. The hotel was clean and quiet, I would return in the future. All the staff appear to care about the. Work the provide.
- 5/5
Yes, it was very good.
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Easy, quiet and clean
- 3/5
The beds were good. The front desk person who checked me in did not ask if I wanted housekeeping the next day as I was there for three days, so at the end of day two I heard the front desk clerk ask a guest if they would be wanting housekeeping. I went up and asked....will I be getting housekeeping today? She said let me check, came back and said no but she could ask them to?! I said yes please, and gave the housekeeper ample time to do the room. I wish it had been a better experience. Also....strange that on Saturday and Sunday breakfast is 30 minutes later....weird because my schedule does not discriminate days of the week. It just seemed wierd. Other than that it was good.
- 4/5
Great for a night, great breakfast, great price.
- 4/5
Room was clean besides comforter being ripped, good breakfast and nice customer service and great housekeeping
- 5/5
Clean basic room. No pool or hot tub.
- 4/5
Nice and clean, very nice staff, I ended staying extending. I felt, safe and comfortable, I hope the rest of the stay is the same. 😊
- 5/5
breakfast and overall service was awesome!
- 5/5
Clean and quiet.
- 3/5
Attention to detail is lacking. Holes and drywall on ceiling, mismatch paint in corners.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Front desk was great!
- 5/5
I arrived early but the nice man at the check in desk allowed me to have a room right then! Room was clean and had all that I needed. Soft bed
- 2/5
The toilet didnt refill , you had you turn the shut off valve off and back on to get water to fill. There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The toilet water line leaked. The housekeeping staff was told, no service needed, came back to toom to find they had been in the room, but only did half the normal housekeeping. Had a live band out side playing at midnight for some reason.
- 4/5
Clean room and courteous staff.
- 4/5
Clean rooms. Cozy bed and fair pricing. The breakfast was bit lackluster few cereal choices. All were stale.. and juices watered down.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was polite.
- 1/5
The room was in bad shape, needs repair. The refrigerator ran 24/7 loudly, the freezer is completely iced over. Air conditioner ran loudly 24/7 not keeping temperature. Blackout drapes broken where they would not meet and rusted where they meet in the middle in horrible condition. I had a do not disturb sign on the door, and got a loud knocking with a staff member standing at door holding a water and a cookie to make up for not being at desk when I arrived, when I said no thank you, I am sleeping, they stood there asking me really. They should have not bothered me and gave me a discount or something when leaving. Do Not Disturb means Do Not Disturb. Waking me with a water bottle and a cookie and I tell them no thank you, and they stood there dumbfounded, saying really, like I was stupid. RIDICULOUS.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, and the room was fine
- 5/5
Great parking and value
- 5/5
Quiet and clean. I enjoyed being so close to Fort Vancouver and many walking/running paths
- 3/5
Room next to be was bumping bass through the walls till past 4am.
- 5/5
I truly enjoyed this cute and comfortable hotel. Location was great, parking was plenty, room was quiet and comfortable, service at check in was great, overall just excellent. Upon check in, Abby was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. I wanted to watch the world series game but when I got to the room the tv for some reason was not working ( Not plugged in properly) maybe the anxiety made me miss that but I called the desk and Abby was up there barely after I hung up the phone. She came in and fixed the tv, it truly shows she cares about the guests at this hotel. I enjoyed how quiet and clean the room was. Breakfast was also pretty good, I would definitely recommend.
- 3/5
Rooms could use some upgrades! Example comforters on bed were ripped up and had holes had holes. Some one cleaned one of the days and took our dirty towels but did mot leave new ones
- 3/5
Room however was okay.
- 4/5
Good value for proximity to downtown.
- 3/5
Plenty of items to choose from
- 3/5
Breakfast time stops at 9a in weekdays and 9:30 on weekend. Weekend time really should be a little longer.
- 1/5
Old bad cheap hotel
- 2/5
NOT GOOD
- 3/5
Healthy
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, there were plenty of good breakfast options, was near a lot of good places to eat and hang out, relatively clean rooms and property, easy parking. I liked that I was able to book a second night without changing rooms!
- 5/5
Jacob at front desk were being super helpful as I was asking for some tape for me shoes, he went all the way to the back office or maintenance to get it for me. He saved my shoes for the next day!
- 5/5
Super soft bed. I slept like a baby.
- 5/5
Believe it is time to replace the bed frames. They squeak somewhat loudly when you get out of bed.
- 3/5
Room had a noisy AC, so they switched us to a new room. Much better. Then they didn’t refresh our towels etc on one day. Got some at the front desk but kind of irritating.
- 3/5
A lot smaller than perceived in photo.
- 3/5
The place looks old. Not old in time but old in carpeting and rooms quality. It was cheap but you get what you pay for.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 3/5
Pet friendly property with very minimal exterior areas for pet potty areas. Any available grass, bark, or dirt was scattered with feces. A homeless tent in the back, possible vehicle camping on the side streets. Not the best area.
- 5/5
Super comfortable beds, black Angus right in the parking lot , all good!!
- 4/5
Rooms are dated. Needs better breakfast options
- 5/5
Clean room nice staff good breakfast
- 3/5
Fine for athletes and school teams but otherwise we would not stay here.
- 5/5
Excellent CS
- 3/5
Breakfast was ok, staff was good, 2 double bed room very small, saw a man dumpster diving out our window as the dumpster was right outside our first floor window, difficult to get coffee in the early morning hours, tried at 4:45am, again at 5:15am, finally girl behind the desk offered to get me 2 cups. For the price, I guess it was ok, if I had paid more I would not have been happy. I probably would not stay here again.
- 3/5
Good restaurants nearby.
- 2/5
The sheets in our first room were dirty, with hair and makeup stains. When we asked for them to be changed, the front desk attendant explained she was the only staff member on duty and offered to move us to another room instead. Unfortunately, the second room had similar issues, the pillowcases had hair and even small blood stains. We were able to get clean pillowcases from the front desk, but the experience left us disappointed. Overall, the hotel has potential, but cleanliness and service need significant improvement. If the sheets were properly cleaned, it could be a decent place to stay.
- 5/5
Hotel was nice and clean friendly staff
- 5/5
Greatcplace to
- 4/5
Love the hotel overall staff are gracious and the rooms are clean to high level. But the doors are issue. Honestly need to put the investment of fixing so access is not a question. I wouldn't want someone who isnt capable of defending self to be stopped by card access that is " old " i mentioned to a staff they said they are old. Well that means time to fix, people seem to forget the best that door will be is now and unless investments are made, will worsen. Why are they waiting.
- 5/5
Perfect 👌 stay spot
- 4/5
Room was awesome and clean! It was really great until the staff the next day was rude, they didn't acknowledge or say bye to us when checking out.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The room smelled like are trying to mask the fact that it sas a former smoking room. A bit unpleasant.
- 4/5
We often stay at the Comfort Inn. It is close to the bus stop to go to Portland. The breakfast is decent, and the rooms are spotless. It is an affordable option to do business in downtown Vancouver, a half-mile walk, or jump on Interstate 5
- 5/5
Nice area
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Room is nonsmoking but smells of stale cigarette smoke. The elevator smelled also.
- 5/5
Very clean room
- 4/5
Unfortunately we did not know the pool was going to be cloosed...it said through September, other than that it was my 2nd stay there and I will stay again. Loved that Black Angus is right there, no need for uber. Loved the walk down to the waterfront, and visited the Saturday market on our way down....really nice area. will stay again
- 5/5
Everything was great. Staff was so nice and accommodating. Very convenient location. Nice stay.
- 5/5
Front desk People are very nice
- 2/5
They close the free breakfast early than stated hours every day
- 5/5
One of the nicest young lady to check us in on our trip.
- 5/5
We initially thought the beds were too soft, but they turned out to be quite comfortable. Great night's sleep. Our Friday night, second-floor stay was the quietest we've EVER experienced. Clean and bright bathroom.
- 5/5
Staff is very excellent.
- 2/5
The staff was fine. But the room was musty, there were homeless hanging around the parking lot, there was ALOT of noise at all hours… 3 and 4 in the morning there was still a ruckus…people in the halls banging around and making all kinds of noise. It was impossible to get any sleep! I won’t be staying there again.
- 4/5
The elevator is pretty small and clunky, rooms were super clean. Overall decent stay
- 5/5
Comfy and nice amenities
- 4/5
Everything was good. Ran out of coffee at breakfast though.
- 5/5
Found out at check in- No Cats! Had to sleep im the moving truck in pkg lot with the cat
- 5/5
Best.downtown Vancouver value. Easy to from car no matter the floor and despite usual/expected northwest state urban homeless population a safe feeling at parking. As a father of teen girl that is paramount . Definitely recommend over other local.options in the "budget " range

The water in the lobby tastes chemically and when the TV wouldn’t work and we called to get it fix the night lobby staff couldn’t and did not offer a discount☹️

Stay was good. The check-in process was easy and the room was clean and spacious. AC is blowing cold air and having a fridge is a plus.
- 5/5
Outside of the hotel is a little sketchy since it’s downtown, but our room was great! Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent every morning as well. Quick check in and check out. Overall would definitely stay again when visiting Vancouver.
- 5/5
the staff are nice. the parking is big. it is located conveniently near the downtown area
- 5/5
Great location. Even though it was downtown it was very quiet.
- 4/5
Best wheelchair accessible room we've had. Perfect accessible roll in shower with shower chair. Staff was good accept for slamming doors at 4:00 am over and over on the first night. After I mentioned it, the next night was fine. Good breakfast. Sadly, the front walkway is at a steep incline and made it difficult for a wheelchair. Parking in back would be recommended for accessiblity. Would stay again.

3 night stay I definitely will come back again to stay

"Dumpster diver" behind hotel.
- 3/5
Hotel staff was very friendly The hotel is definitely showing its age. The carpet is worn & stained. The couch in my room was dirty and worn. Bedding and bathroom were clean.
- 4/5
Check-in process was easy & staff was very friendly. Room was easily accessible. Parking was easy. Only issue we really had was breakfast, the doors were locked prior to breakfast time being over, thankfully we were able to find someone to open them.
- 4/5
It was an okay place to stay. Needs updating. We changed rooms after the first room had a broken toilet. Didn’t feel safe to walk within a few blocks from the hotel. Watched homeless people going through the dumpster behind the hotel out our room window.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 4/5
Good location for what we needed. Comfortable bed
- 4/5
It was overpriced for what I received. My room smelled of chemicals and the bathroom was very small. I believe the price was higher due to a lot of events going on, but I was personally not happy with everything for my stay. It was average.

For the cost per night this place was not great. The 2 double bed mattresses were terrible, loud hallways, tiny outdoor pool, and no hot tub. The hot breakfast was very limited and we below what normal hotels have for hot breakfast. The key cards struggled to work all night and the following morning. We will not be staying here again.

Friendly staff

For starters we had to have our keys remade (We stayed 2 nights) almost 10 times as they deactivate VERY easily. Not too big of a deal but the tc was VERY small for the size of the room…. The outdoor pool was great, the person who designed this building and placed the pool with a building that blocks the sun between the best swim times of the day, anytime after 5 it’ll be all shaded and get cold real fast. LASTLY, MY CAR WAS VANDALIZED, thankfully it wasn’t stupid crackhead breaking into my car used a crowbar and ripped off my driver door handle, probably attempting to steal my car or maybe just my belongings, but was unsuccessful and left my door handle around the corner. But we stayed 2 night so the entire second night all I did was worry someone was going to break in or steal my car leaving it hard to relax. Car

While staff was helpful and polite the cleaning was not. We have short grey hair yet there was black long curly hair in both sink and bath. This was still there after the room was cleaned between our staying days
- 2/5
Contacted the front desk and said house keeping was gone, asked for it the next day and nothing. Called to ask and said house keeping was gone again but here is some sheets for you to change your own bed.
- 5/5
Clean room and very good service.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was absent a decent amount of time with the “we’ll be right back sign” out that cause a couple minor delays.
- 4/5
I was in town for a triathlon so only needed the room for the night before and to rest for a few hours after my event. You can hear every noise from the hallway though the door so it was a bit hard to sleep. The A/C was great as it was 96 degrees outside. Other complaint was the bathroom - the shower drain was clogged with hair and water pooled in the tub which felt gross. Otherwise it was fine for what I needed.
- 3/5
Good location, nice staff, decent breakfast… the only thing is the noisy AC, and the room key became demagnetized so we were locked out of the building and our room several times.
- 4/5
Decent.

Great place. Room was excellent, bed was comfy and breakfast was delicious

I now live in Arizona, so having a pool outside that I could enjoy was a big plus. Also free parking worked for me!
- 5/5
Was amazing
- 2/5
We stayed there for 2 nights. The first day the tv did not work, they did not have a person available to try to fix it until the next day. TV issue could not be fixed so we were moved to another room. In both of the rooms you could hear everything from the room next door.

Overall, you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a basic place to stay for a few days, this place will do the job. The moment we got there it smelled like the room hasn’t been used in a long time. The place was cleaned for the most part. There were a few stains on the sheets but nothing major. Bathroom was overall good and cleaned. Food was the average egg and sausage with waffles but again you get what you pay for. Overall, a decent experience. Would I stay here again? No.

I was disappointed in how far a walk it was to the riverside. The downtown did not have a lot of choices for dinner or entertainment as it boasts.
- 3/5
Fan was dirty.

Great value. Helpful staff.
- 3/5
Staff was great, bed was comfortable, but the breakfast was very poor.

Pool was just okay, rooms were fine, location was good

Nice meal

Great location, good room, great staff
- 5/5
The air conditioning wasn't working properly. It was very humid.
- 3/5
The shower was clogged so had to shower in 6 inches of water and the hotel smelled like cigs but the beds were comfortable so you get what you pay for

Stayed at the relatives instead (decided at the last minute) Was told the area wasn’t safe
- 5/5
Great stay! Traveled with our pups and accommodations worked out perfectly.
- 3/5
Ok
- 4/5
Over all it was great! Very clean, very nice people who work there and Abbey at the front desk is amazing! The only thing that was concerning was the pieces of flat steel sticking out of the bottom of the mattress that was a definite safety hazard. With that being said I really enjoyed my stay!!
- 5/5
One of our cleanest places we’ve stayed and with our fur baby and really hospitable and friendly staff!! Highly recommend!
- 3/5
Cooling fan was very noisy; extremely heavy bedclothes for a very hot night!
- 4/5
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. Bathroom light began strobing out in the morning as we were leaving. Hopefully it was repaired before next guests checed in. Breakfast offerings wrre typical but adequate. We'd stay again!

Nice clean comfortable room
- 3/5
The room was clean. After a later check-in, I found myself bothering the one person working the front desk for WD-40 because our room door squeaked loudly whenever it opened/closed. Twice, we walked out to our car in the morning to find people dumpster diving in the hotel's garbage. Our room keys needed to be replaced/re-coded twice. The room's AC unit seemed to struggle a bit to cool the entire room. We had 2 queen beds, and I slept closest to the unit and essentially froze while everyone else struggled to stay cool enough to comfortably sleep. The breakfast offering was just ok. It was a fair price for what we needed, and the location was close to the highways to get us to where our adventures were scheduled.
- 3/5
Just fine for a stripped down, practical stay. It was clean but shabby. The lighting was not great. A few glaring LED lamps. But the bed was VERY comfortable and I loved the bathroom products. I’d definitely stay there again just not for the atmosphere.
- 3/5
The air freshener was over powering in the hallways and leached into the room. I was allergic to it. Couldn’t wait to get out of there the next morning. The pillows were very comfy and the bathroom was spacious. It was okay over all. I will not stay there again. They need to stop relying so heavily on air freshener for a clean smell.
- 5/5
Great clean rooms. Accessible to all freeways. Great pool! My granddaughter loved it.
- 4/5
Room needs to be checked for stains on the bed.
- 5/5
The front desk staff, the housekeepers, and the breakfast server were all friendly and extremely helpful. Cudos to this hotel. If we return to Vancouver we will definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
The hotel was clean and reasonably priced in a convenient location. It’s not fancy but I would stay there again.
- 3/5
Fridge and breakfast was excellent. Waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, toast were hot choices, everything else a person could want for cold choices. I only gave 3 stars due to our room smelled like mold. The beds were ultra soft and plenty of pillows. I would stay here again and just request a new room next time.
- 4/5
Property is quite outdated including the rooms. However, staff was very nice and breakfast was good
- 4/5
Didn't like noise
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
The room was comfortable enough, but there was a funky smell of too much cleaner, maybe cigarette smoke, it was very unpleasant. The room wasn't as bad, but still enough to bother my asthma throughout the night.
- 4/5
The surrounding area around the hotel is nice and really close to so many things, but right next to the freeway and major streets so can be noisy. The online pictures are a lot nicer then in oerson of the outside. It has been updated mostly and shares a parking lot with a restaurant. The first floor of the hotel is very nice, clean and put together. The 3rd floor has stains all overthe carpets though the hallway and smells like a drying wet animal. The room was nice. Tight entry but upgraded. Found silverware right under the edge of the bed and on the floor next to the TV stand. The sheets were stained but we never use hotel sheets, we bring our own. The bed was not comfortable to me but others might think otherwise. The breakfast was pretty basic.

Very convenient to I-5. Very short walk (8 blocks) to downtown. Pleasurable stay.
