Guests have mixed feelings about this hotel. While some appreciate the contemporary decor and spacious rooms, others find the accommodations uncomfortable and the service lacking.

Valet and location No issues

The room was great but the price of the room was steep for the type of hotel. It is a standard business hotel with a high price.

Great location as the hotel is right on the waterfront and close to restaurants and shops. Staff is always friendly and the room was clean.
- 5/5
Very clean and distinctly minimalistic feel

The staff was awesome, but the building was lacking. The Gaucho restaurant, 8th floor lounge and the liquor cabinet were closed. The beds and pillows were not comfortable. The bathroom did not have a fan and the glass doors for the toilet and and shower did not reach the ceiling. Great view and wonderful walking areas. There is simple not a lot to do other than consume expensive food and drinks.Dominoes delivers there.

This is a nice clean hotel. We always stay here when in the area as it is in a nice location. The property is beautiful and it is always a good sleep.
- 5/5
The view from our room was beautiful, employee was very nice and they're valet fast and easy no long wait also 24hrs attendant . The whole place was spot clean and smells good, it's cozy and inviting if we ever go back I'd stay there again... Homeless on the other side of the street after we were driving late at night we ended up driving on the other side and it was homeless street but it was quite other than that nothing negative to say.

House shoes and a robot be nice. It’s a bit noisy on the outside of the hotel sometimes.
- 5/5
Extremely nice and helpful staff, easy check in and convenient locations for views, restaurants and city exploration. Very comfortable and clean room! You can hear the airplanes, but its not overbearing. There isn't much you can do about that for the location. Not a ding, just informational. Still loved everything about it!

You’ll find the beds and pillows super comfy, the rooms quiet and the staff delightful. Don’t hesitate to book your stay!! And enjoy the waterfront too.

Lovely staff, great location. Wonderful view.
- 4/5
The street noise was alittle loud on Saturday night, due to cars and train noise. We were in the back side of the property.
- 4.5/5
The room was very spacious, the bedding was super comfortable, the bathroom was spacious with a separate door for the toilet. The rooftop bar was great and had outstanding views of the Columbia river. I would’ve liked bath robes and self parking would’ve been nice. The $29/day destination fee seemed excessive considering there was no pool and bathrobes were not provided. So we paid $29 a day for the fitness center ?

While I understand that there isn’t anything the hotel can do about the situation, I was not expecting motorcycles to be riding up and down the waterfront late at night. It was noisy and prevented us from sleeping which at that point, I understood the ear plugs provided by the hotel.

On the water. Walkable to restaurants and waterfront. Rooms were nice and modern. Convenient location, very clean, excellent staff
- 5/5
The location was superb. The waterfront area was excellent for evening strolls, a family dinner, early morning run. With kids we really preferred not staying in the city, Portland, but also wanted to be close by for sightseeing and our activities. This was the perfect solution. As for the hotel, staff were very friendly, parking structure for self park is a short walk away, and the rooms are just as described. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
- 3/5
Everything was amazing except for all of “neighborhood noise”. This included a train that did 3 whistle blows sometime after midnight, the sports engines that reverberated between the hotel with a “city facing” view (an apartment building the same height as the hotel) that created the perfect noise tunnel. It is also in the flight path of pdx, so as soon as morning flights started, yep, you guessed it, those were thundering over too. Loud enough I momentarily mistook it for a blue angels squadron doing their maneuvers. The property is gorgeous, the staff was amazing, but sleep is so important. I will try it again, but it will have to be a water facing room that I’m guessing would reduce a lot of of the ”neighborhood noise”.

Was large and well appointed. Close to dining, shopping and coffee. Great for a weekend get away.

Curtains didn’t close all the way with my window facing another window.
- 5/5
Absolutely stunning hotel, walking distance to all things good. Extremely helpful staff. Room service food was delicious! Can’t wait to stay here again. Thanks so much
- 5/5
Hotel Indigo is my go-to stop when traveling in this area and I always look forward to my stay. Excellent service starts at the valet and continues to every staff member, making you feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. And the location is amazing for a city stay - waterfront parks are literally right outside the door and you have a plethora of dining options within an easy walk. And if you feel adventurous, you can explore the downtown breweries on foot.

Great location on the waterfront in Vancouver. Close to several good restaurants, including Dos Alas Latin Kitchen which we thoroughly enjoyed and attached to 13 Coins, an old favorite. It's a great area to walk along the waterfront. Our room was nice, with a view of the water. All of the staff at Hotel Indigo were extremely helpful and we can't wait to return!
- 5/5
It could use a little more soundproofing in the bathroom area.

The view. Air traffic noise.

Clean And Nice Atmosphere Excellent Service With A Nice Location In The Vancouver Downtown Area
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, and lots of great amenities
- 5/5
Great staff they were all friendly and professional. The 13 Coins restaurant was outstanding too!
- 5/5
Very good hotel👍
- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff, decent gym. All good stuff. Just be weary of the construction noise coming from next door and street racers at night. Still give it 5 stars.
- 5/5
The hotel was excellent as well as the hospitality. The beds were very comfortable
- 3/5
The hotel is pretty, but valet is expensive at 50$ a night. There’s a parking garage you can also pay a lot for a few buildings away. Housekeeping broke a glass or something and left it on the floor, only made one of the beds and didn’t replace any of the coffee or cups. Other than that, as I said the hotel is pretty, it’s in a safe part of town and the beds are pretty comfortable.
- 3/5
The experience was satisfactory for the money spent.
- 5/5
Did not have breakfast
- 3/5
Also, Expedia might want to check back with Indigo: the "designer toiletries, hair dryer, microwave and mini-fridge" as described on Expedia website, do not exist.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff, nice welcome
- 5/5

- 5/5
The room was clean. The staffs were super kind. Many restaurants around the hotel were good. TV can be connected with my cell phone.Great over all.
- 5/5
Easy night out with plenty of dinner options.
- 5/5
Only complaint is all the outside noise in the evening from VERY loud cars made it impossible to get solid sleep until after 11pm. (Room was waterfront)
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay here the location was excellent. Lots of restaurants within walking distance along with the on site restaurants. The staff was very friendly and the room was very nice. We'll definitely be staying here again.
- 5/5
Wine tasting. And roof top lounge
- 5/5
Well appointed room. Comfortable beds, quiet and close to everything
- 5/5
Spotless throughout. A great place on the waterfront in Vancouver
- 5/5
Great place
- 3/5
We booked a water front room and enjoyed that part however when we got into the room and started to unwind for the night and I pulled back the sheets and there was long black hair in there! So I called the desk and they moved me to a lower floor and the first thing I did was pull back the bed and saw more hair again. I figured it must be the laundry service they are using. But then the bathroom was dirty. Hair on the floor and also the toilet. So for me the cleanliness gets a 0. Besides that the hotel was beautiful and the staff was great and so was the restaurant!
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Nice place staff very nice
- 5/5
Loved the waterfront area. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed the free wine tasting and coupon for drinks in the relaxing Witness Tree Lounge. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly, enjoyed the rooftop bar, and the room was nice and clean. Recommend staying in a room facing the water. Close to multiple wineries and restaurants.
- 5/5
Front desk was amazing!

13 Coins Restaurant and coffee shop were both excellent! Breakfast was delivered right on time!

- 5/5
Lovely property, with great dining, night life and location on the waterfront
- 5/5
Everything was top notch!
- 5/5
Great place to stay, very convenient, lovely water views.
- 5/5
Julio was great!
- 5/5
Staff were especially helpful and courteous
- 5/5
I honestly liked everything about this hotel.. I’ve been to many hotels in my life and honestly this might be my favorite one. Very convenient and staff was very polite.. I ate at 13 coins for breakfast which is apart of the hotel.
- 5/5
The hotel is perfectly located, the staff were incredibly polite and helpful, super convenient, pet-friendly, and spotless!! We enjoyed everything.
- 5/5
Aside from some pretty intense racing motorcycle and car noise very nearby at night, a great stay.
- 3/5
The bad: I expected the mattress to be stellar. But it was lumpy (7 out of 10). I was really looking forward to a wonderful room service dinner after traveling. The only thing superior was the bill, which included a 24% “fee,”plus a $7 “tray fee,”plus they still wanted a 15-20% tip. Overall, the food was far below mediocre, having arrived barely warm (there was no way to reheat it because there is no microwave in the room). The French dip sandwich included steak fries that weren’t cooked all the way through (they were inedible). The cheesecake slice had a row of coolwhip sprayed on the plate instead of properly whipped heavy cream. My window view was of the building being constructed next door (which I heard tools starting at 8am). All night the loud vehicles driving below on the street assaulted my sleeping; now I know why this room came with earplugs next to the bed. The bad about this hotel far exceeded the good. This was the first time I’d stayed at this hotel chain; I won’t do that again. This was a big disappointment.
- 1/5
We made reservations for a one night stay and four hours after we booked we had to cancel. I contacted the hotel within 4 hours and they would not cancel and refund my payment. Very frustrating.
- 5/5
Love the staff, the rooms are great and it is so convenient to restaurants
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful. Many great restaurants onsite and close by. I love the fact that the rooms have virtually no carpet. Beds are comfortable! It was very clean.
- 5/5
Beautiful, walkable location on the riverfront. Exceptional front desk and reception staff. Wonderful dining opportunities in the hotel and nearby. Large, comfortable room with a spectacular view of the river. This was a great experience. We will be back.
- 4/5
The food was mediocre for 13 Coins but hotel staff was excellent. Room was nice but i expected it to be a little more elegant than it was. I should have checked it out a bit more. Overall i had a good experience.
- 5/5
This was our second stay at Hotel Indigo, and once again, it was nothing short of amazing. The room was spotless, the views were fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. One of the things we love most is how convenient the location is — plenty of food, wine, and whiskey spots just steps away, and the Saturday Market is always a fun adventure during our visits. Hotel Indigo truly makes every stay feel special. We can’t wait to come back for visit number three!
- 5/5
Very clean rooms and very friendly and helpful staff
- 5/5
Really nice, modern hotel. Room is very spacious, great bathroom and amenities. Excellent location on the waterfront
- 5/5
Great upscale place
- 5/5
My niece at Indigo! Ahead of our stay we were assured we would have connecting rooms and we did! We've ran into hotels telling us we'd have connecting rooms only to be disappointed by not. No disappointments at Indigo! Everything was above and beyond our expectations! 13 coins restaurant was fabulous! 13 coins cafe was so convenient and wonderful! Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, quiet, and luxurious!
- 3/5
Very walkable. Valet was expensive though.
- 5/5
Great staff and excellent location.
- 5/5
It was our first time in this location at this hotel and we enjoyed it! The restaurant was easily accessible and our room had a beautiful view. The only negative was the car and motorcycle screeching noise at night.
- 5/5
Gorgeous property with several dining options and beautiful view of the river.
- 4/5
Nicely located by the waterfront of Vancouver. Very convenient with the surrounding of restaurants and a good promenade
- 5/5
Love the hotel and the waterfront area. Would love another breakfast option, but otherwise a great spot.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Park your car and enjoy everything with in walking distance
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Great staff! Would stay here again.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the food at the restaurant & the bed & pillows were very comfortable. Location was great on the Columbia River. I would stay here again on my next visit.
- 5/5
Selena the receptionist went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a great experience! It was my wife’s birthday and we had a great stay!
- 5/5
We had a wonderful time. The room was great, the location was amazing and the service was excellent. We will definitely come back again.
- 5/5
We have stayed at the Indigo whenever we are in town. Tried one other place and came right back. It’s clean and comfortable and the service is top notch.
- 5/5
Location, location, location and great service too! Our room was fantastic and amenities aplentiful
- 5/5
Great hotal.
- 5/5
It was amazing. The staff was so sweet and kind. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are great! We had breakfast sent to our room from 13 coins. It was so convenient! Valet service was great.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel. Beautiful view. Wonderful customer service. Clean and bougie. I’ll be back!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Friendly and wonderful staff.
- 5/5
The staff is head and shoulders above the other local hotels!!!
- 4/5
Small rooms , front desk just ok
- 5/5
Very classy hotel! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Very clean, comfortable bed, friendly & helpful staff. Great location. Only critique is the walls are a thin and there is a lot of noise, but to be fair there were earplugs provided in the room.
- 5/5
This place was 🔥! We’ll be back.
- 4/5
Great location & dining options.
- 5/5
This is a great hotel! It’s situated right on the water front with excellent views. There are many in house eateries and some great perks! There was a free wine tasting in the evening and a $10 credit to put toward drinks or coffee. We skipped the valet and parked in the public garage just two blocks away. The room was modern, sleek, and comfortable. Loved the sleep sound machine! We will definitely be coming back.
- 5/5
This hotel was one of the best we ever stayed at. Great location with good restaurant on site and beautiful view of the Columbia River from our room. Definitely a must for anyone going to Portland/Vancouver area.
- 5/5
From the moment I arrived, I knew this was going to be more than just a place to sleep, it was an experience. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, making check-in smooth and offering great recommendations for nearby restaurants, all conveniently located within walking distance. The room itself was spotless; clean, fresh, and perfectly arranged with attention to detail. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, I slept better than I had in weeks. Waking up to the stunning views of the river was the perfect way to start each day. What really set this hotel apart was the ambience. It struck the perfect balance between elegance and comfort, creating an atmosphere that was both relaxing and unforgettable. Everything felt intentionally designed with the guest in mind, from the layout of the room to the thoughtful touches throughout the property. Customer service was top-notch, with every interaction leaving me impressed. And for the quality of the stay, the pricing was more than fair. Truly a great value. I’ll absolutely be returning, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this gem to anyone looking for a stay that goes beyond expectations. Steven & Alessja Cummings Room 417
- 5/5
Thank you
- 5/5
The staff were incredible and it was a lovely hotel. Feels like a boutique!
- 5/5
It is expensive and worth it.
- 5/5
The hotel and staff were great. The only issue is parking is non existent and you basically have to pay for valet because there isn’t a parking garage near the hotel.
- 5/5
Beautiful and comfortable!
- 5/5
It was fantastic!
- 5/5
Service is quick motel is super clean and felt safe always someone at the door
- 5/5
Awesome place to stay
- 5/5
Great reception and help from the front desk staff.
- 5/5
The staff was very kind and got me into my room early.
- 5/5
The location on the waterfront park makes for enjoyable walks and convenient access to eateries. Great, helpful staff at the Indigo.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
The property is beautiful, right on the Vancouver waterfront. We spent the weekend celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday and were very happy with the amenities provided, the dining options on property and within walking distance. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable and I slept well both nights.
- 5/5
Great staff. Very clean. Great location. Would stay here again
- 5/5
Great place to stay in that great city
- 4/5
It was good for the most part. I booked online and make sure to look for the price of the deposit so I am prepared at check in. I got there and the price online was not what was asked of me when we checked in. I spoke to a manager and he was able to clarify for me and said he’d let the sales team to update their site to reflect their deposit fee. He was very nice and respectful. I appreciate the help we got.
- 5/5
Stayed here after having a surgery with a nearby plastic surgeon. It was an absolute dream. Valet parking made it so easy to get right to the front door, quick check in, handicap accessible room made it easy for me to use the bathroom and shower. Rooms were beautiful and beds were amazing! Room service for breakfast was perfection since I couldn’t get up to go out to eat, cannot recommend this hotel enough! Staff was so friendly and accommodating! 10 stars!!!
- 4/5
The room was good unfortunately when I reserved I didn’t think about a corner room could be a city view. That city view was of a construction site and construction yard/parking. Which wasn’t noted on reservation site. The fan on low was like being next to busy freeway. Beside those items room was great.
- 5/5
I LOVE Hotel Indigo! It has very comfortable accommodations and I love the complimentary wine tasting included with my stays. I will surely be back!
- 2/5
I did have a nice view and the front desk staff were helpful. This time, just didn’t get the experience I paid for. As soon as I pull up to valet, the employee’s eagerness to help left little personal space for me ti maneuver or breathe really. As soon as I walked in the room, you could see it had just been spot-cleaned in between several reservations. Wine glasses and the shelf they sit on were covered in dust. Streaky finger/hand prints along the desktop. There was someone’s urine on the rim of the toilet. Someone’s hair in the corner of the bathroom. Wasn’t enough for me to call and switch rooms. But it was enough for me to consider other options next time I want to stay on the Vancouver waterfront.
- 5/5
Professionally operated and very friendly
- 5/5
Stayed for a work trip everything was amazing
- 5/5
Beautiful place! Will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Beautiful view of Columbia River. Great access to shops/restaurants on Vancouver Waterfront. Great facilities and staff.
- 5/5
Fun night away
- 5/5
It was unbelievably beautiful, comforting and relaxing. The room was a very good size. The amenities were absolutely wonderful. The shower was large. The bed was comfortable. There’s nothing bad to say about this room.
- 5/5
Loved this place. My only complaint was not being able to have a river view room. The hotel wasn’t able to accommodate this request which was a frustration but also I understand that river view rooms may have already been full.
- 5/5
Hotel Indigo on the Vancouver waterfront is a great place to stay - the hotel is new with very nice rooms with lots of restaurant options right at the waterfront.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with plenty of drink and restaurant options.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel in a beautiful area on the river.
- 5/5
We loved this hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful!
- 3/5
The room itself was good. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great. The view was really disappointing for the cost of the room. It was disappointing to be looking onto a construction site. I also felt like the staff was kind of dismissive, which left me feeling disappointed in my stay.
- 5/5
Great access to the waterfront.
- 5/5
This property is in a great location. The staff was very lovely including the 2 times I had to call for questions
- 5/5
Beautiful and classy place
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful, thank you!
- 4/5
Beautiful property
- 5/5
Stayed here for a week for Thanksgiving week and loved it very much! Can’t wait to stay here again
- 5/5
*****
- 5/5
Loved the location!
- 4/5
If you need to stay in the newly redone downtown Vancouver, it’s by far the best.
- 5/5
Bar staff was less friendly and slow despite very few customers. Coffee shop was nice and convenient. Attached restaurant offered breakfast or dinner all day and was very good and very friendly, but expensive. As to be expected with the hotel/area. Parking is a pain. Valet is optional but is expensive. Two different prices given to us because of our vehicle size for valet. We checked the sign and confirmed the lower price was the correct one.
- 5/5
Staff and accommodations were exceptional. We had a wonderful time and the steak at 13 coins was done to perfection
- 5/5
It’s a great hotel with valet parking along with restaurants on site and a perfect location!
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at Indigo, it's truly a beautifully designed hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted and attended right away. Overall the atmosphere was friendly and inviting.
- 5/5
Singh the front desk lady was prompt helpful. Made recommendations. Very fast an efficien valley people were very nice and also accommodating even if we didn’t use that service.
- 4/5
I liked the spaciousness of the rooms and the eighth floor bar, the staff were extremely helpful, and I found the entire ambience to be very positive. I have two negative comments, 1 - that no robes were available and 2 - that there were no make up mirrors in the bathrooms. As a woman who travels frequently and uses hotels that rank at least a “4”, I believe these two concerns would affect my consideration when I came back to Vancouver.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our very last minute stay…hotel is really lovely. And we parked on the street(very easily and free all day Saturday and Sunday). We had our small dog with us and were charged a $50 pet fee, which was ok. What was not ok was the $29 resort fee per day. This hotel is not anything that resembles a resort. The property doesn’t offer much as far as extras and this amount was excessive. We usually stay in five star hotels and are not even charged that much in those properties. The Indigo was perfect for this trip and we loved being there….being hit with this resort fee upon check-out left us with a bad taste.
- 5/5
They did not have parking.
- 5/5
Great river view and sunset. The hotel and rooms were nicely designed. Variety of restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream, etc near by. Walking path along the river. We really enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Additional 29$ service fee. 45$ parking fee. Loud heating / cooling vent in room, very noisy.
- 5/5
Great staff, great food options, beautiful area
- 5/5
Terrible to wake up to someone on the megaphone at 7:00 am! Other than that, lovely!
- 5/5
Beautifully designed hotel with excellent customer service. I arrived early and had had a long drive. Adrian at the front desk was so nice and checked me in right away so that I could freshen up for my conference. They also provided a few perks, like passes for coffee and drinks in the bar and restaurant. Overall one of the best hotel stays I've had anywhere.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel! Perfect location for walking the area. Lack of parking was the only downside. Valet parking is very expensive.
- 5/5
Beautiful place
- 5/5
The staff was so kind and helpful.
- 5/5
The staff was AWESOME! Sighn and will were very accommodating and welcoming!
