Our stay was short but great! The first night we had an issue with our room and the lady in the front desk working in the morning quickly helped us get into another room! We really appreciated her help and would definitely stay here again!

This Dunn Loring location was perfect! It was easy to access and an easy walk to the Metro station and Harris Teeter for groceries. The hotel was incredibly clean and well maintained. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful! The Bistro had wonderful food and the small market had some good snack options if needed. The parking under the hotel was very clean and felt safe. Our two complaints are the pool area was closed and we wish we could have used the pool and we did not have a microwave in our room. These were not deal breakers though and I would definitely stay at this location again!

- Safety deposit of 100 dollars (not mentioned anywhere). Maybe Expedia should mention that. - Lady at the breakfast was rude. Constantly interrupted. Not nice. Although, to be frank, that was only one person, rest of the staff were helpful.

The rooms were clean, the staff were not helpful telling me about the parking situation, and the breakfast was mediocre.

Tv wasn’t functional 1st night. Had to be moved to another room , which was commendable. Felt problem should’ve been handled in a smoother and more customer friendly fashion

The shampoo and conditioner were out of stock. Very inconvenient when you get in the shower, and there is no shampoo or conditioner.

Thanks to Fatima at reception for a friendly and very helpful check-in. Good location, about 5 minutes walking distance to the Dunn Loring metro station and numerous restaurants. $15/night for self-parking in the underground garage is pretty reasonable for this area. No significant complaints. Would stay here again.

Buying an expensive Starbucks breakfast was a downer.

Our stay was excellent from check in to check out. Martin was the VERY best - he deserves recognition. Kyong made check-out pleasant & quick. Ferrante and Bruk at the Bistro were Top Notch. Thanks to the 4 of them making our staff Worth Our While!!

The room was very good but we were not happy to find out at check-in that there was a $100 fee plus $20/day for an emotional support dog with a doctor’s letter as well as a $10 charge for parking.

The bad: The lighting in the room is horrible! Not even opening the drapes helped.

Today I was pleasantly surprised by how polite the receptionist was. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name because I was in a hurry, but I really appreciated it. I stayed for around five hours, and the experience was very pleasant

We were not made aware prior to check in that there was a charge for parking. Also, there was a musty smell in the room. In addition, our room came with breakfast for 2 (paid additional for this service) yet I was charged at the counter despite mentioning this to woman behind counter - she completely ignored me. Lets just say I won't stay there again, nor would I recommend this hotel. The bed comfort was marginal at best.

We like to get a hotel room at this property because it is one walkable block from our relative when we come to visit. That said, because we booked through Expedia (and not directly through Marriott) when we checked in they gave us the worst/most noisy room they could have given us which was right off the elevator, next to the ice machine, and a shared door with the room next door with very noisy, inconsiderate neighbors (loud conversations at 5AM).

The room was clean. AC worked great. Breakfast was amazing, although you have to pay for it. Covered parking was an added payed bonus. Metro station and several stores are very close by.

My room was very clean and comfortable, and I especially appreciated the blackout curtains for a great night’s sleep. The location was excellent, within walking distance to plenty of dining options and conveniently close to the people I was visiting. Overall, a great stay.

We loved staying at the Courtyard by Marriott. It was everything we had wished for in a hotel, clean, inviting and comfortable. Our favorite part was that we could walk to the Metro from the hotel each day we ventured into DC.

The sink made so much noise at 2:30am it woke me up. Towels were very thin.

In contrast, during our recent trip to Vietnam, even the boutique hotel staff provided us with excellent service. We never had to request drinking water or coffee in our room, even though we opted not to have our room cleaned. Coffee and water were always available in our room after we returned from our daily tours. Based on this experience, I will not return to this Marriott Courtyard location.

The staff at the front desk was very friendly for both check-in and check-out. The lobby area was particularly welcoming. My one complaint about my room is that it did not have a walk-in shower but rather a tub that you had to climb into. I didn't request a room with a walk-in shower because I thought they were pretty standard. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable. Onsite parking was available, but spaces were limited. Hotel is very close to the metro for tourists who want to visit museums and other sights in D.C.

My stay was related to work as the area experience inclement weather. The shuttle was literally around the corner which was convenient. The place was very clean, quiet, and peaceful. It is in a great location. Great restaurants around. We had some business to take care of as a family and it was very close to where we needed to go. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Overall experience was great the staff were friendly. The facility was very clean and appeasing aesthetics. My only hiccup was the bed was kind of uncomfortable for me but my spouse felt it was comfortable for him.

We stayed for 10 nights. Great location, near a lot of shopping and supermarkets. Wish the refrigerator were bigger. Could not even fit anything in it. Also, no room slippers :(
