Breeze Inn & Suites

I don’t recommend staying at this place at all. There was bugs and hair still in the shower towels and washcloths were dirty with stains sheets had hair and crumbs on it. The AC doesn’t reach to the room in the back. Overall, I will never be staying here again and I don’t recommend anyone else staying here. I give it a 1 out of 10.

Very last minute booking... ( same day ) .. just needed an overnight. Very close to beach (one short block ) It was very afforablely priced. Only complaint was room was really stale smelling when we frist got there. But that improved...

Room was dirty. Carpet, couch and beds were full of stains. No bottom fitted sheets on beds. Toilet seat was wobbly and wouldn't stay up.

Amazing rooms clean property clean

Booked a king room over 2 months in advance. On arrival the clerk said, "you booked a king but we only have a double available." I asked to cancel and for a refund. Clerk acted like they were calling someone, said no manager available, and refused to help me. The company will not responded via phone or email. This is blatant fraudulent activity. Attempted to get Travelocity to help. The company wouldn't respond to the either so Travelocity just through their hands up and refused to help me.

The reception staff was very nice and so was the cleaning staff. The AC worked well and the TV was fine. There is no kitchen utensils or cookware and the range/extract looked like they were installed in 1980. For the money we paid we were ripped off.

Staff is rude. They refused our reservations with no explanation. They don’t change the sheets on the bed. I had to go and buy my own bed sheets to put on the bed. The cable only works sometimes. When it was brought to their attention they say that as long as one tv works then there is nothing they will do about it.

The staff was wonderful they really worked with me they were polite and they were considerate they actually went over and beyond my particular situation and I appreciated them more than anything this is definitely a good place if you need something that is l close to a studio apartment living space and a reasonable price with friendly and understanding staff members that treat you not like you're just a room rate but an actual person

Bathroom was gross, and only conditioner in the wall mounted dispensers and I had to refill the TP. Kitchenette sink did have soap. Otherwise pretty much what you would expect at this price point. Full size refrigerator was nice to have. We were here for one night only, but be aware that if you are planning on using the kitchen there are no dishes,pots, tableware etc. Bring your own. No blankets but the sheets and towels were clean.

Our room while dated, was pretty clean except for a few hairs here and there. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The parking was cramped however and it was made worse when they sold spots on marathon day, that didn't help. Also the room smelled strongly of incense which we were used to but got used to. For marathon weekend it was a good location so the route didn't prohibit us from leaving.

Basic mini fridge and microwave (worked but handle was broken). Minimal but adequate towels and linens. No problems. Room was nicely clean and very spacious.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms weren’t the cleanest, but it was still good.

Nice place for the price and location.No extra amenities but the price reflects that.

Please mop your damn floors! And didn’t see a mop one anywhere!

Our stay was wonderful as always.

Would not suggest this place. Kitchen had 2 burners and nothing else. No kitchen utensils, no coffee maker, no linen. Just a bare kitchen. Went all week without a fire alarm. Turned in the broken one on day one and never replaced it 5 days later when we left. They charge you to park in the hotel parking. Charged my visitors $20 for visiting 1 1/2.. Large cockroach in living room on 3rd day there. The nice thing was , it was walking distance to the beach.

No staff at night , And nothing mentioned at check in . No one on property to help you if needed. I accidentally locked my keys in my room when i went to car for something and ended up having to sleep in car all night . Saw other guests come in the middle of night and no one to check thrm in . Sad . Nice place but no service .

Everything was a great experience friendly staff and we enjoyed our stay

Unfortunately due to a popular festival all hotels were booked. We did wait until the last minute to find and book our hotel. So lesson learned on our part. The Only good thing about this place was the distance to the beach and the festival.

The room was clean but there was some things of concern. The bathroom shower curtain has mold on it, one of the sheet covers on the bed had a cigarette burns on it. The biggest thing is that we got bed bug bites. My whole arm and neck is full of bed bug bites. This is a HUGE health concern and should be taken care of by the staff. All those mattress’s, sheets and pillows should be changed. It is terrible.

Where do I begin….. I booked 3 rooms paid in advance. I knew it was a motel so I didn’t have high expectations. But the dirty bathrooms, roaches were unexpected. Literally everywhere was sold out because of Funk Fest. So we all had no other choice. We went to Walmart and bought pillows, sheets, blankets and cleaning supplies. We complained to the front desk about the dirty floors and we had to get the mop and bucket to mop our own floors. We Lysoled & disinfect the entire room. Put our Walmart sheets on the bed and prayed for the best. We had to keep our luggage zipped because of the roaches. Needless to say it was very uncomfortable.

We scrambled to find another place to stay, and luckily found one. We just needed a place to lay our head that evening, and it was so disgusting that we couldn’t justify staying. I am currently in the process of getting a refund, but no one has picked up my calls and the front desk woman was not too helpful.

When I arrived at this motel I saw that it was sketchy. The building was not in great shape and the people around there were off-putting. There was not much of a choice of where I could stay because every hotel was booked far in advance so I’ve seen good reviews about this motel and thought it couldn’t be terrible, unfortunately I was wrong. It was. I opened the door to the room and placed all of my belongings on the floor. When I got into the bedroom I lifted up the sheets and saw many stains that resembled blood. Then I looked behind the bed and saw there was a needle. That’s when I exited and checked out of the place. I was not offered any compensation for my stay.

Great value for our stay. Location very convenient for walking up and down the boardwalk. Appreciated having two rooms and the kitchenette was more than adequate. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Suggest bringing extra bed cover if the nights are cooler. Harris Teeter 2 to 3 blocks/10 minute walk. Note: no elevator for second and third floor for those with limited mobility. Definitely will return.

location was good, the room was large (i had a suite), but there were a lot of inconveniences - housekeeping is seriously wanting. there were no face towels, the bed was missing bed sheets (only had one torn smaller flat sheet over the mattress cover that did not fill the entire length of the bed (they do not have fitted sheets at all), no blanket and no cover flat sheet. taking a shower was a nightmare - the water did not drain and you basically stand in a puddle up to your mid-shin in water. same with sink it was super low and didn't drain. the property is pretty outdated. old carpets, old furniture with stains and significant signs of wear and tear. the night staff (young guy) was very friendly and accommodating, he brought in the bedsheets and a blanket within minutes. the sheets were torn and had holes and stains in multiple places (not his fault, again - housekeeping issues) and pillowcases had multiple stains. also, their check-in is 4 pm, not the usual 3 p.m so you either have to wait an hour or pay for early check-in. they (the day staff woman) do not let you park there before 4 pm even though there were plenty of parking spots and tell you to either pay to park there or pay for early check-in. the stay was ok, but i don't think i will be returning.

This was a great property for the location and the time of year.

It was great. They clearly continue to keep the maintenance up on this old motel. The bathroom was in pretty good shape. They had redone the grout in the tub and sink. They need to redo the floors, but it seems like the floor job is next on the list. It was clean. It was quiet. It's close to the ocean. The staff was great.

Staff was very hospital. My room was not the cleanest, the shower still had sand in it from the previous occupant.

While the location is great, the room's AC does not cool the bedroom; the kitchenette was not equipped AT ALL for cooking or eating; and, it was not as clean as expected.

Great place to stay with a good price. Found a dirty razor in the shower, probably wasn’t seen when they cleaned the room. If you have a second car it’s an additional 30$ to park it overnight. Overall not bad for VA Beach. Very comfortable beds.

On the map shows the hotel is on the beach, but it’s on Pacific Blvd. However it’s a great location everything is close to it. It doesn’t have a pool, but with the location you have a lot to do. The rooms are big it’s like an apartment with the living room, and bedroom. The pictures don’t look so good with the colors when you look at them on the website; however when you are there it looks better. The room was quite, it had a nice view. I would recommend it. It has been the best room size that I seen in VA beach. It was clean. The towel were really white and smell clean. Overall it was a great stayed!!

The room smelled like it was smothered in Pine Sol when we arrived. It actually was hard to breathe, and we had to open the door and let the room air out for a little bit. The bathroom had an empty roll of toilet paper when we checked in. Also, I understand it is near a beach, so some sand is expected, but the tile floor was very sandy when we checked in, so it obviously wasn’t swept or mopped very well between guests. The room had ants and a daddy long leg spider in the shower. They keep a insect/bug catcher under the cabinet. They also charged me an extra $10 per night for bringing both of my daughters, when I originally reserved the room for just 2 people. The room sleeps 4 people, so who cares if 3 people were in the room? Also, no other hotel on my cross country road trip charged me an extra for that. When I needed more towels the second night, they only gave me 2. I had to remind them that they charged me an extra $30 for the 3 nights, so I get an extra towel with no problem. The phone in the lobby was always busy when I called to request the towels. I had to walk down to the lobby to get some, and the employee (possibly owner) was sitting there eating pizza. Finally, when I checked out, I still needed public parking for the beach for a few hours, and they told me it would be $16 for 2-4 hours, but they rand it up and tried charging me $20 until I pointed to the sign that said it should have only been $16. Just overall, not very professional and bad customer service.

Loved the room setup. Property location was very convenient to the beach and many food options. Parking was easy.

Overall everything was great about my stay except when I needed new wash rags they had none said they didn’t do laundry yet. So the next day I went again and got the same answer.

No kleenex, no hand towels.

They have bed bugs. I got lucky I caught it before it got worse. And when I told the guy he like brushed it off like no biggie.

The refrigerator was unplugged in the doors were open. The air conditioning was off. The room was musty, the floor/carpet was sticky. The toilet barely flushed. I slept on the couch because I didn’t trust the bed. The television did not work in the bedroom.

Asked for a nonsmoking room and walked into a smoked cloud. Sheets couch and chair smelled bad. Floors were dirty. I cleaned the place myself.

Enjoyed my 5 night stay at Breeze Inn & Suites. Everyone was very friendly and the facilities were very clean and well maintained. Would recommend this hotel to anybody!!

Neither of the two TVs were working. Extreme noise until around 1pm. Hair was in the shower and gross slime like stuff in the ftig. The bedroom air would never get cool as the A/C is located in the living room.

Third time booking the Breeze Inn & Suites. My family love it here. Budget friendly space, with friendly staff. The suite has a living room area that our teens really enjoyed staying up late & watching tv until they wanted to sleep & they opted on using the pullout bed in the living room. The new management has updated the suite’s new carpets and the stove top is gone, but that didn’t matter to us we only came for a day at the beach trip. Checked in on a Friday after 9 pm went to get dinner which was with in walking distance & felt very safe. Next morning checked out & was able to keep our parking space that was 2 short blocks away from the beach.

Negs: traffic was loud at night, no elevators, had to pay fee for second car (wasn't aware), had kitchenette but no utencils, biggest issue was the air was a wall unit at the door but nothing in the bedroom which made it really hot. I would stay again but knowing now... i will bring plastic silverware, bring a fan for bedroom and drive 1 car.

Do not stay here unsafe dirty and no a/c in the bedroom found drug use needles in the floor by the bed was the room was left unacceptably dirty and no compensation was given to me and my gf or refund so we where stuck BEWARE if you walk around barefoot or have children never again I would include pictures if I was able to put them on here absolutely terrible

The convenience, location,and the price,parking was a bit tight but made it work.

The room smelled terrible and the bathroom was nasty it appeared someone urinated on the wall behind the bathroom door as well as pubes and other starange hairs and mess. The bathroom sink was cracked and dirty the microwave was missing the handle and was very outdated there were numerous stains on the carpet and sofa. When i brought these issues to the hotel owner they were supposed to send housekeeping to clean the room well it never happened then the next day we requested housekeeping again and they said they would be down shortly but yet once again never showed up. We had to take our own trash and collect linens from the desk not to mention the a/c is located in the living area with 0 air flow to the bedroom making it very stuffy and uncomfortable. The new owners are very rude and crooks this place needs to be shut down

Inexpensive hotel with basic decor, my room was clean and comfortable. Had a two burner stove top, microwave and small refrigerator. Bring your own dishes.Easy short walk to the beach. Overall I enjoyed my stay

Breeze Inn and Siutes was not what I accepted. The beds and sofa was uncomfortable, the pillows were old and flat. It smelled bad in the room. The toilet made some weird noise and bath tub was stopped up. I was supposed to check out on Monday but losted out on $90. Because they had a no refund policy. If I go back to VA Beach i know not to stay with them ever again.

Staff friendly and professional. Old hotel but improvements have been made, new furniture, 2-room suite was nice. Mold on bottom of shower curtain was only complaint, otherwise, very clean.

Very conveniant beach access but super loud at night. Murphy's pub is just across the street with live music until late and the bedroom window faces the stage. Room smelled like someone smoked right before we arrived.

I stayed there Sept. 7th, and I do not recommend that anyone stays there until it is renovated. They have bed bugs. Room 301 my daughter and my fiance got bitten. It was 1:30 in the a.m. the office staff was gone. We slept in our vehicle, waiting for the office to open. Just hear management was allegidly on vacation, so there was no one who could properly handle the situation. Worst part of it all they have a no refund policy. How your establishment has bed bugs? I will be contacting Virginia Board of Health, I'll also be contacting Virginia's Better Business Bureau. I understand the rooms are cheap, and you get what you pay for, but damn BEDBUGS. I should've gotten a full refund. Also reimbursed for my laundry and the detail clean I got done to my vehicle to make sure we didn't bring back any bugs.

The motel was very nice and clean outside including the parking lot. There was still an old carpet though, so the floor should be renovated.

It's a walkable distance to most everything. The front desk person was polite when we checked in. However there was another lady there that was on the rude side.

Had issues with payment and refunding of charges

Didn’t like that we arrived 4 hrs earlier than check in and were charged $13 for parking even though there were plenty of vacant rooms/parking. Outdated but felt safe and was pretty quiet.

It was the best hotel ever! So clean and nice! Owners were great and check in and out was a breeze! Definitely want to stay again.

No cool airflow to the bedroom. Living area has to be freezing to make back room ok. Room needs repairs and you have to carry dirty towels to office before you can get new ones.

This place was easy to enjoy, great location, no muss no fuss.

The outside looked VERY sketchy, and was not what I was expecting from the website or Google pictures. But once I was inside the room I was pleasantly surprised.

Paid through app knowing its non refundable. I towed a small fishing boat. Couldn't park anywhere. The picture of the parking lot seemed adequate which is misleading. Never checked in. Went to motel 6 to sleep and park.

Pictures on the internet were not accurate at all, floor was tiled and full of sand. You couldn’t walk on the floor. Then there was a cigarette hole in our comforter, burns on the furniture. We didn’t get our room cleaned the entire visit nor get fresh linens or towels. The hotel had little to no insulation you could hear all of the street and parking lot traffic. Staff was polite though so there’s a least that.

We did not get to stay at this establishment because my husband’s name did not match my name on our credit card! We are married and share all cards I’m so mad. We shouldn’t have been allowed to make the reservation if this was a problem from the beginning. Poor communication!!

This place was dingy and did not feel clean at all. the back window wouldn't lock so I had to wedge a hanger in it to secure it. There was a flat sheet in place of a fitted sheet and it was too small to boot. I had paid for two nights, but left after the first and went to another hotel...would not recommend at all

Took 5 mins to get to the beach

The space was generous and it is nice to have a couch and chair and chairs at a table. The sheets were not big enough to cover the mattress, let alone tuck in. We had to ask for a blanket. The 'kitchen' had a fridge and a microwave and empty cupboards but no dishes, cups or cutlery. No cleaning was done during our three night stay and we had to ask for fresh towels.The night light/switch in the bedroom is insanely bright so bring something to cover it! The lights in the bathroom were way too bright and we took 2 bulbs out while staying. One night, guests were very loud outside from about 2.00 to 4.00am.

The receptionist on duty was exceptional. Pleasant, helpful and responsive.

My husband and I stayed only one night here. It was very nice for the price. Vrry clean and amazing staff. We will definately be going back.
