All the staff we encountered were amazing. Very much recommend this hotel.

Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Had no issues with my stay. Tv menu options is limited but now a days most people stream on their devices so no problem for me. In all, it was a good 2 days stay.

I have been staying here for over 35 years and I must say that the hotel is getting a bit dated. When we arrived, I asked for a room on the 1st floor and was told at MY price point (which I paid over $600 for 2 nights), it wasn’t available; so, I asked not to be by the elevator or doors because I wanted less traffic and noise. The manager, who shouldered the checkin process the entire time, (?) stepped up and assured me the room I was receiving is not by the elevator (6th floor with the elevator “down far and a very good spot”)(mgr lied) I checked the room 1st and the keys wouldn’t work but the room was directly in front of the loud, squeaky parking garage door and parallel to the noisy, squeaky elevator!!!! I immediately went and demanded a better room and guess what?? Front desk had to ask the same mgr and 1st floor room WAS available “at my price point” all of a sudden! Had to ask for gift bag with water for the guests!🙄 The room had a stale smell and our bedsheets had stains. I called Housekeeping and was ASKED if I wanted them to drop off clean sheets because they only clean the room every 3 days! I replied “bring them now AND REMAKE THE BED”!😑 Fridge froze everything but overall nice sized room. Need better, more nicer front desk staff and cleaning staff. They were rude and wouldn’t smile and were unhelpful/uncaring. Maintenance folks & cafe folks super nice! May stay again…felt different vibe this time unfortunately

Excellent location along the boardwalk. Oceanfront room was clean and spacious with a comfy king bed and sitting area. Lobby area was kept incredibly clean with people coming and going from the beach. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to friends.

The hotel was great it was two adults three kids and there was plenty of space and loved having the ocean balcony view. Pool was great for the kids and they offered breakfast every morning.

Hotel room was good. The only problem was the other people stay in there smoking marijuana, you could smell it through the whole hotel and very bad in the bedroom couldn’t even sit out on the balcony it stunk so bad.

Great rooms with views of the ocean

It was right on the beach Mix up on their end at check in. They double booked our room so we had someone walk in our room and then maintenance walked in our room. They did compensate us for parking for that. On our third day our keys deactivated and they said we extended our stay which is not true. We were booked through Friday. Most of the staff was not friendly. There was a sewage back up on our floor not our room, it smelled so bad for an evening. The rooms are tiny, dirty and need up graded. Also the elevators are so slow.

Our only problems is that the toilets don’t have a strong flush. Unfortunately, some in my family have bathroom issues. This was my second time staying here. So I think it’s more of a water saving toilet thing. I do wish breakfast would end a little later than 9 especially as crowded as it gets.

Somewhere had not made it to the bathroom and had fecies on the floor could not come out your room without throwing up with the mess, To me that should have been a priority before anything else but it was not we were told it would be after something else . Did ask if I wanted to change rooms after I had unpacked everything and had driven so many miles didnt want to pack back up and move again. It just seem like it wasn’t a priority to them to get it cleaned up

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean. Shower had good water pressure. Fridge and microwave in room. Daily breakfast is quite good, lots of variety and seating. View from our room was beautiful and the beach is very well maintained with lifeguards. Staff is friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is the TV. Hardly any of the channels work and the ones that do are religious or shopping channels. I’d love to see an updated system which allows us to login to our streaming services. Lots of other hotels have that. There are lots of shops and kitschy tourist things to do along the beach strip and a walking path behind the building at the beach. Overall, it’s been a wonderful stay!

The entire experience was great. From the welcoming at the front desk. Breakfast had lots of options, the food was good and hot. The hotel was in great proximity to everything. The car garage, but did like that I had somewhere to park and didn't have to look for any place else.

The view was great right on the boardwalk. But they charged my card without me knowing it and they didn’t even know why. They were suppose to text me or let me know cause it happened on my last night they never did. It took four days to get my back account straightened back out. The pool was cold and full of sand where people came for the beach and jumped it. Never seen anyone cleaning it. Dirty bandaids were laying by the pool. Several of the brick around the pool were loss. They put a $250 deposit hold on your card and charge you $15 a day to park that isn’t included in your room. The door to the garage on your floor wasn’t working right. Instead of them fixing it they just left it unlocked.

Breakfast was fully stocked. Variety of options for different dietary concerns. Hotel shows age especially in hallways and elevators. However, if you want a clean room, comfortable beds, nice hot showers and beautiful view of the oceanfront and boardwalk this is your choice. Very family friendly and comfortable stay. Check in and check out efficient as well. Staff always helpful.

We were in handicap room , very satisfied . We were in handicap room which was well equipped except bathtub had no bathmat ...very slippery and unsafe.

Great location right on the boardwalk with paid parking onsite. Efficient check in and right in the middle of fun. An older property but well maintained, especially for being right on the beach. Would definately stay here again.

The oceanfront rooms are a must such a lovely place to just unwind. Boardwalk is within steps so is the pier. Great dining options totally walkable. Breakfast provided at the Inn is awesome. Parking area is a bit tight but many parking available.

It was okay for a short stay... Staff was great! My 6 year old loved walking through the lobby to get cookies. I would stay here again.

- The breakfast was ok except for Sunday morning. - The carpet and floor in our room needs a deep cleaning - We had to wait for clean wash cloths till about 2130 hrs our 2nd night. - Location and ocean view is great for me - I am displeased with having to pay for parking, I booked through a 3rd party and remember reading that the number I saw was the amount I would pay. I was surprised to learn about a 15.00 per day parking charge. I will not stay here again if possible, because of that fee! Last year (July 2025} we stayed at the hotel next to Country inn and that hotel gave us a free parking permit in Country Inn's parking deck (4 nights}.

Only thing I didn’t like was there was a scented spritzer in the hallway and I didn’t care for the scent. Hotel did turn it off for me

Everyone’s definition of clean is different. While it was horrible, there was still dirt missed in our room. Though I’ve seen worse in other stays elsewhere. Breakfasts were ok. Access to boardwalk and beach are excellent! There is a parking garage attached to the hotel, not included but charged at the time $15/day to park. Really no real good other place to park, so, probably can say that is worth it. You use your hotel room key card to access everything including garage.

Was a good value for the money. Busy hotel so elevators and breakfast was somewhat difficult, but good location on boardwalk.

The room we stayed in was nice, spacious and clean. Then you definitely couldnt beat the view of the ocean from the balcony.

The breakfast was spot on, the room was clean. My only complaint was the pool was so cloudy that you couldn't see your toes. Didn't notice at first and got out real quick.

Accessibility to the beach is a plus, we got the ocean view room and my kids loved it. Although we didn’t go to the pool i wish they would have maintained its cleanliness regularly.

Room was very clean and view of the ocean from balcony was great! Staff was very nice. The beds were suppose to be Queen and they weren't, as they were also very uncomfortable. Parking was tight as other guests would take up 2 spots. Didn't like guests from other hotels were parking in our parking deck. Lastly, it was a little uncomfortable each morning going to breakfast and the amount of homeless that were also enjoying our free breakfast.

Well employees are delightful and friendly. The pool is indoor kinda dark and gloomy not for me. The TV has no apps or ability to stream yóutube or Netflix. But breakfast was nice. The beach was nice but no way rent chairs or umbrellas no one around. So it's a nice place to stay one or two nights.

I had the perfect view of the ocean from my room. Watching sunrise daily over the water was spectacular. I liked that the hotel gave me a complimentary late check out until noon. The room was fine, had a nice ocean view. The parking garage is horrible to navigate and our door to our room had a giant gap in the frame that wasn’t addressed.

The room was pretty small & standard. The tv was old, it wasn’t a smart tv so we couldn’t cast anything to it or watch Netflix or anything. The toilet kept running & the floor was dirty

Arrived early but was received with a warm welcome. Ricky at reception was great. The room was comfortable, the bed comfy and the bathroom clean. Breakfast had a lot of options and the fact service starts at 5:30am is great for an early riser like me. Coffee/tea was available at reception all day and night. Having the beach right out of the door is the best!

This hotel is right on the beach with it's own parking deck.You can go right from the parking deck to your room. All rooms are ocean front. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast is the typical hotel breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfy. Some parts of the room could use some updating but still is nice.

The morning breakfast was wonderful. The ocean view was perfection. The rooms were very nice had everything we needed. Staff was very friendly and informative on their amenities. They also provided a list of road closures for special events happening during our stay. Truly a life saver having that handy so we knew how to plan our day. Easy access parking garage was also a great bonus. Would definitely book here again when in the area.

While there were areas of the ceiling in our room that had water damage, overall this hotel was super! Bed was very comfortable, room was overall clean, lots of garbage cans, breakfast was terrific, staff was terrific, someone was always cleaning. I would definitely stay there again!

Staff were great with check-ins..Our toilet kept running water because the commode wouldn’t fill with water. Called front desk and they said they would get maintenance. Maintenance called two hours later when we were ready to go to sleep. We told them come fix it the following day and no one did. Other than that it was a good stay.

We selected this hotel based on the reviews and were slightly disappointed. Although the beds were comfortable and the check in was quick the hotel room was not super clean as others reported. The lobby had an unpleasant smell and the layout of the hotel is awkward. Our room floor was clearly not swept. Or was the floor vacuumed. When I wiped up some stuff from the floor the napkins was brown with dirt. The beds linens were clean, room layout was perfect for our group of three and price was fantastic for an oceanfront room. Not completely unhappy but not thrilled either. Although we didn’t swim in the indoor pool it was very little. Halls and elevator not filthy but not clean, large cockroach on the elevator. Would stay again if tight on money but not my first or second choice. I also elected the hotel for the reviews on the free breakfast and we didn’t partake only because it was served from 5:30 am to 9 and we overslept.

Rooms are very nice, comfortable beds, bathroom and showers are clean, TV is much better than I was expecting which is nice and the view is ABSOLUTELY beautiful!! The staff were also very nice!

This was our second time staying at this hotel and once again it was great! We arrived to the hotel for check in and were told they upgraded us to a suite just for booking way in advance. Breakfast was always great as well! Would book again.

The beds in the rooms are in an advanced state of deterioration; upon sitting, they sink considerably, reflecting a clear lack of adequate support. Furthermore, there is a pervasive and unpleasant odor throughout the entire hotel. I formally requested to be relocated; however, the alternative room offered was smaller and featured beds that were equally, if not more, unsatisfactory.

The location was also excellent. It was perfect for walking to the Sports Center, local restaurants, and cafes, and we especially enjoyed the easy access to the boardwalk for morning walks.

The staff was very professional and very helpful. The rooms were OK. They were not the cleanest, the beds were made, and the showers definitely needed some TLC and a good scrub down. The lobby area was OK. The design and set up was nice. However, the furniture was made of cloth and you could see stains that a good shampoo of the upholstered furniture would have made a better impression when First checking in. The leather furniture could have used a good scrub down as well. Although the staff was helpful and very professional, the establishment could use a little more care in their facility. If you’re paying about four to $500 for a room for a weekend times however many hotel rooms are booked. Use some of the money to really update and clean your establishment and I feel like taking a little pride in what you have and take really good care of it will go a long way with your guests and potential guests. Thank you.

The desk clerk said it was because they nest on the beach. She offered to spray the room but we just wanted to get out!

Room was not bad, the refrigerator wasn’t working all my food went in the garbage but was refunded. The microwave was rusty when I asked the maintenance guy. He said we always get complaints about it, but they never fixed the issue. The staff was nice. I had a nice beach view balcony. Def will not go back especially with kids. Neighborhood not safe.

We found two cockroaches in our room. One between the desk and bed on our first night, another in the bathroom the next morning. The pull out sofa "cover" (there was no sheet on it)was dirty and had debris on it.

My go-to when I visit Virginia Beach. Only complaint is the mattress is nearing the end of its life, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Can’t comment on the breakfast that morning because we slept in.😁 Although in previous visits the breakfast has been fine, plenty to eat, fresh, hot.

It is not like they didn’t have options, they could have offered a clean ready room, or fixed the problem. Cleaning someone else’s used stuff is not my problem! So we just paid $$$ to be under a roof over our head for a night. Thankfully had not booked it for more than a night! We checked into another hotel same time as we checked out from there.

The room was wonderful, beds were super comfortable! Balcony view was spectacular. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was hot and delicious every morning with eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, cereal, bagels, etc. Pool was clean and fresh towels all the time. Definitely will stay again!

As sson as you walknin into the lobby theres a musky smell, as the room. Although this property is smoke free, a lot of guests smokeon the balconies with doors open therefore the smell of cigarettes and others lingers right into the bedrooms . This place was absolutely lovely for a family vacation. Not fancy by any means- obviously an old building. The elevator situation is a whole part of the experience, which is a bummer and the free breakfast is pretty bad and poorly set up. Having said that- we would definitely stay there again.

I was in the area for business and made a last minute decision to stay at the beachfront a few more days. I was very pleased that I selected this hotel. The room was clean and exactly as advertised with great oceanfront views. The continental breakfast (included) offered plenty of variety and the staff were friendly & worked diligently to keep up with the demand. All staff I encountered were friendly & helpful. I was able to secure a late checkout which isn’t guaranteed. The outside grounds were well maintained as well which just added to the warmth & care of the property. It felt safe for a single traveler. I will be back!

My only complaint was that we ran out of towels on day 3 and housekeeping never came, but i did go to the front desk and they did replace towels needed, but the dirty ones were never taken. Besides that our stay was great. The balcony was perfect, beautiful view of the beach.

Rooms were clean, beds were ok, bathroom shower took FOREVER to walm up. Door of bathroom is a sliding door which wasn’t great, the door kept coming off the rail. Breakfast also just ok, not well stocked through the morning, pretty boring and tasteless sadly. Old hotel I think they are trying to upkeep but renovations. Parking garage is an absolute nightmare to navigate. We will not stay here again.

Very nice hotel. The staff was super helpful after a toilet malfunction. The problem was taken care of very quickly. The site is right on the beach with a fantastic view with easy walking to all the shops in the area. Breakfast was nice but nothing special. We enjoyed our stay.

We had one overnight and Country Inn & Suites was perfect. Check-in was fast & easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hallways were clean, the elevator worked well, the room was clean. The ocean front view was perfect. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower worked very well, and there were plenty of towels. We will be happy to stay here the next time we’re in Virginia Beach.

The room was awesome, i loved listening to the waves crashing on the shore from the storm. Breakfast in the morning, parking on the same floor. room pretty quiet, all modern and updated. The door was a little hard to open to the balcony and if I had to complain I would complain that the fan in the bathroom didn't shut off. But seriously loved staying here. It was comfy and being away from home is hard. I enjoyed the desk area, and the nice surprise of having a fridge. Would have been nice if it had a freezer area too. I tried really hard not to make my room door slam to be considerate of others. The staff was helpful as I came in and had to change my room because I didn't want to be across from the elevators.

The location is perfect to enjoy the Virginia Beach. Very easy to get to, free parking for guests. The room was very spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The best part was how nice a quiet the rooms are, we could not hear the church bells tolling from inside our room. Loved it and what a view of the ocean!

Breakfast was fine. Location was great. The pool cielinf was peeling and dripped water on me the whole time I watched the kids swim. All in all a decent place for the price but not in the best shape, and be careful if you have a large car.

We were given a room upgrade. It was a nice room, clean and well appointed. All of the staff was pleasant.

The staff were amazing and check in was easy. Unfortunately the room had a strong urine smell that made the stay unpleasant. The service staff did come to try to vacuum the room and get the smell out but the smell remained.

The cons, I was somehow given a handicap room for my reservation but Ricky offered me a ground floor that was available. Without thinking of possible inconvenience of being right across from the fitness center and pool. I didn't want to take a room from someone else that might need it. Entering my room, a staff member left their phone in the bathroom in which i returned to the front desk. For the first three nights other guest were frequenting the pool with children screaming loudly past pool hours (10pm). Saturday night it was so bad that i had to report it to the front desk along with others who were being disturbed. The microwave stopped working on the 5th day and it needed to be replaced by Quinton, who was helpful and got me a do not disturb sign and trash bags because i didn'thave any replaced after i placed the can outside my door. Housekeeping is very consistent at a quarter to 9am every morning until i asked for no service by writing a note on my door. I thought they only came on the 3rd day of a guest over 3 days. I didn't even receive an offer of a discount for the disturbance. Most of the surrounding shops were closed but i mostly just wanted a peaceful vacation that was 50/50.

Location is great, price fair. Very slow checking in on arrival, front desk staff ok not super friendly or warm. Not rude but not friendly. Breakfast over at 9am, used to 10am most everyplace ever stayed. Indoor attached parking garage is a plus but very tight space for any large vehicles, like a Suburban we drove. Scratched a rim getting in first time. Mattress needs to be replaced, decent but not very good sleep. Room and property very clean but in need of serious updates. Wall trim held up with clear masking tape, paint stains on bathroom shelf, no heat in hallway . Easy check out.

A group. checked in at 2:30am yelling in the hallways, talking on their cell phones on speaker, slamming doors, repeatedly and partying on the balcony. Contacted the front desk, they wouldn't do anything about it. Told me "they just checked in, give them a minute to settle down." That minute stretched to 2 1/2 hours. I've been up since 2:30 and I'm working 12 hours today. Completely dismissed by front desk staff. I do a lot of business in Virginia Beach, and won't stay here again.

POOL AND ELEVATOR WERE HORRIBLE! It is noted that remodeling is being done, but we went to the hotel for the pool. It was not swimmable! The rusty ceiling was dripping into the pool. Children were afraid! But the room staff and breakfast were amazing; as well as the location.

We were given an upgraded room with a suite and moved up from the bottom to the 4th floor. This was very nice. I had a little trouble with the bathroom sliding barn door, it was really heavy. Shower water took forever to get hot, it was freezing for 5-6 minutes I had to wait for it to warm up smh. I was almost late checking out due to that issue. The housekeeping staff was very noisy on the floor prior to checking out. Other than those issues everything was fine.

The breakfast should have 4 waffle makers (there were only 2) to help the line and waiting time inconveniences. Also, ending at 9am is too early for many people who are there to sleep in a little. You should extend to 10am, which is around when my family normally eats on weekends, I had these conversations with other guests at breakfast. We all agreed this would’ve helped make it much better for all of us. The eggs also weren’t yummy - watery, strange texture. Breakfast was something I was most looking forward to and my kids barely ate. We enjoyed the pool but couldn’t hear the music, the room was quiet and every staff member I came across was very nice and helpful.

The breakfast had scrambled eggs that were nasty and watery, the sausage patties were dry and burnt. The heater in the room kept shutting off. So it was so cold for my husband myself and my kiddos.

We booked a first floor room through expedia. They gave us 7th floor and said I should have called the hotel directly. I paid extra for first floor ocean front. The young woman at reception on day shift was just a miserable person. Unhelpful and lacking in any kind of customer care skills. Would not stay here again. Oh and a fire alarm went off at 10:30pm and we had to hoof it down 7 flights of stairs. The exact reason why I booked first floor. Horrible stay.

Normally I don't leave bad reviews but this time I have to. One I was put on a beach property right next to an exit door which slams shut constantly, why you do not have a soft shut door I do not know. I was told by the front desk woman who was actually very rude and this is why I'm leaving the review. When I was checking in she gave me the instructions for the elevator and the parking and when I asked her how I would get to my room, instead of just telling me it's on the same floor around the corner she told me I would have to take the elevator and then take it down and just very confusing. She interrupted me while I was on the phone doing a talk to text to someone telling me that the deposit I had put down on my debit card would be automatically put back onto my card the next day. Not taking cash for a deposit is also ludicrous. It was not and I called to see what happened and they said it's a three to five business days. The place is clean that's what I will give you.

I had a challenging experience this past weekend due to several unforeseen issues at the hotel. An emergency situation required us to evacuate quickly with a toddler, descending four flights of stairs amidst chaos. Later that evening, the alarm sounded again, which caused significant distress to my child. Additionally, we encountered a pest issue, including the discovery of roaches, which was quite disturbing. This has been a horrible experience for my family and I.

The hotel was very clean. I loved that they had a parking garage. If you stay on floors 2-6, you can park on your room level and enter the floor from there. Also, I noticed they had a lot of security cameras. They have an indoor pool. Not sure if it's heated but it is available for use. All the staff I came in contact with, were very friendly and welcoming. I booked a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. The beds were actually full size. If you plan on using the pull out sofa, ask for sheets. Also, if you go during the off season, a lot of the shops are closed. However, there are places within a 15 minute drive. For anyone wondering - yes there is a Walmart ! Would definitely stay here again ! Thank you for a great experience !

Overall it was okay. The room had several spots and crevices that were dirty, our shower had a crack in it and the only shelf in the shower was broken so things couldn’t be put on it. The hair dryer was sticky and disgusting causing us to not be able to use it.

THIS HOTEL IS INFESTED WITH BED BUGS. My entire body is filled with bites. Eye swollen shut and large red bites all over my body. The manager and supervisor handled the situation so incredibly poorly. Both should be fired or re-trained. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SHEETS AND PILLOWS. I was attacked! Urgent care classified it as an overdose on bed bug venom and THEY WONT ISSUE A REFUND BECAUSE I CANCELLED AND LEFT MY RESERVATION EARLY. Gross excuse of human beings and this treatment should not be normal!!!

We had a wonderful stay at your property. The room was cozy, well-appointed and everything worked! The bed was comfortable and all linens. The view from our balcony was spectacular. I appreciated there being a parking garage with direct floor access and found a wonderful breakfast in the mornings - loved the option for a nice bold coffee. I will recommend this to friends visiting again in the future as well as consider it for my next staycation :-)

Rooms face the boardwalk, easy access to the ocean, easy parking, great rooms, great breakfast, staff was awesome and easy check in & out. When arriving you have to enter from altanta ave. To a circular drive. It’s just before 18th street. There is a place to park to check in. Once you get you room card you come out on 18th st. Turn left and enter the parking garage. The parking is awesome. We were on the 5th floor. So we parked on the fifth level. But you can park any floor because there is an elevator. All doors from the parking into the hotel can only entered by your room card. So extra secure.

She has helped me during several visits, and her consistent kindness and professionalism truly stand out. The oceanfront view, great service, and refreshed rooms make this my go-to hotel at the beach. I have already planned my next visits and look forward to staying here again soon!

Overall I think this is a good option for someone who’s trying not to spend a lot to stay. It was very clean, super nice staff, accommodating check out times & extra parking time, & close to plenty of food options. You can request extended check out time to noon & can even stay in their parking til 3pm w/included access card to still get into the building. My only critiques would be how breakfast ENDS at 9am (which is oddly early), the door handle on the sliding balcony door was broken (but still usable), & the parking is very tight. But overall I think it’s on par for its price range & possibly even above it in regards to decor, cleanliness, & friendly staff.

The hotel and rooms were very nice and clean. Employee's were friendly and kind. Breakfast was ok although pretty bland compared to most. Parking is very tight. If you don't have to drive a larger vehicle, don't. The elevators are really slow. Couldn't imagine these elevators during the height of the tourist season. As with most hotels (and will never understand this) there is no or few places in the bathroom to hang wet towels. Its mind boggling! Overall the stay at this hotel was pretty good!

This was a super last minute trip. It’s off season so the room was very affordable. Room was clean and easy check in. The AC in my original room didn’t work and they had me in another room in 10 minutes. Appreciate the timeliness. I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel but the continental breakfast had a lot of options for being free. Definitely recommend the property. Parking on site. The garage is tight in some spots but very convenient.

Staff was super friendly. We had a nice room. Very clean only a couple of issues. Loved the view. We have mobility issues so we requested the first floor. Our AC unit stopped working the first night. They sent someone to repair it pretty fast however, they left out hotel door open while we were out. We thought maybe they were returning to fix unit so they left it propped but the AC didnt work and no one came back. Told them at checkout again upon leaving. We only stayed 2 nights. Only other issue was i wasnt strong enough to close the room door. It was catching at floor and you had to use bodyweight to get it shut.

It was our first time to Virginia Beach. This hotel was in a great location. We walked plenty of places. The room was clean and seemed updated. The view of the beach from our balcony was top notch. Tons of shops. The pool area was NOT humid and unbearable like most indoor pools. The parking garage turn was off the main street so it made it easier to get in and out. We did go in the "off" season and their parking garage was a little tight for my full size SUV but it worked for the amount of people there at the time. Breakfast had a nice selection. The dining area was a little small and the hours are short (hard to squeeze in breakfast with littles that early) but it works for the hotel. Would definitely stay again though.

The property is FABULOUS! IT IS BEAUTIFUL. The only downside was the UNEXPECTED $250 hold for incidentals that i was told about at check-in. I booked online and paid in full. This stay was a spur of the moment "Let's stay one more day" thing. That $250 hold took the money we had aside for the extra stay. Very unexpected. Otherwise, terrific stay.

Loud slamming doors, hot and humid in hallway, parking garage an obstacle course (so old and dangerous). I have never stayed at a Radisson that was more like a Best Western! Had a fire alarm at night. not a fire, but everyone out in poring rain.

Parking was tight for a Siverado but doable. We had a quote for the total cost, including all fees and taxes, but were charged an additional $10.00 a day for parking at the hotel. This was completely unexpected and greatly affected our review .

Cons: This entire hotel needs some love... My biggest complaint is the hotel room doors. They literally SLAM shut, not ideal when you have small children or for all the people trying to sleep. It just felt dirty, musty and outdated mostly in the hallways. The escalator is very slow so we always took the stairs which looked like they might have been cleaned once, 6 years ago. The parking garage is tight, however we just tried to park away from people to give us more space. Overall is was ok, but we won’t be back.

Parking available at same floor you stay that was a plus. Didn't have to walk too much

Property was very nice and rooms were kept clean! Staff was really nice and welcoming when we checked in. Only con was the parking situation in the garage - would be nice if they had overflow parking in a lot.

Room was clean, good view, good breakfast, tight parking if you are driving a large vehicle and you do have to pay for parking. Expedia says it is free but it is not. Overall good experience.

The hotel was good extremely clean only issue was the elevator not working most the time the doors wouldn’t shut all the way but that’s a repair problem other than that it was clean and newly remodeled . We enjoyed our stay

It was great to be located directly on the boardwalk, where there were benches to sit on, and watch the waves roll in to the beach. It was nice having a balcony to view the ocean, while enjoying your morning coffee in your room. Only thing we would have liked, would have been at least one dining option right on the premises. The breakfast options were great, and included with our room, but coming in later in the day, it was necessary to walk to a restaurant, or order food sent in. Probably wouldn't have been so bad, but it was pouring down rain when we arrived, and we really wanted to go out for a seafood dinner. Walked almost 2 blocks, but 21st Street Seafood served us a wonderful dinner.....best seafood combination we have had in a long time!

Breakfast very poor, minimal selection and poor quality. Paper plates and plastic forks not ideal. Position of hotel excellent and staff very helpful. Hotel needs a good clean. This is the worst hotel I have stayed at and do not recommend.

The room was very clean, ocean front room. They upgraded my room to a suite once I checked in so I had a room on the third floor instead of first floor which was even better. Plenty of space and the amenities were great. Breakfast was good. Elevators could get a little congested, but not terrible. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson at Virginia Beach, VA. My ocean front view was amazing. I loved the idea of having a separate sitting area. The suite was very spacious. I also appreciated the cleanliness.

It was great with wonderful access to the Beach. Breakfast was a little crowded but lot to choose from and enough, tables. Staff was always very friendly and there to help ocean view was wonderful.

It was really nice! The staff were all friendy. We were on the first floor and there was a bright light on the patio which helped me feel a little safer. The location on the boardwalk was nice and close to the pier. I would definitely stay here again.

Be aware of the parking scam made my reservation through Expedia and and use my credit card for only security deposit where they end up, charging me for parking without notifying me nor I ever signed anything saying that there will be a daily parking charge the front desk and the manager is not very helpful either in resolving the matter

Be aware of the staff and hotel manager, as they are not very courteous the biggest problem I dealt with was with the parking charges that were put on my credit card, and they never declared nor ever notified that they will be a parking fee. For the same price, there are better hotels available and the area definitely will not go back there again.

Country Inn & Suites in Va Beach is a very nice hotel. Clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and convenience to the beach & boardwalk allowed us to have a pleasant stay there while on our weekend vacation. Daily parking fee for garage parking.

Room was wonderful with an excellent view. The beds were very hard. Breakfast was amazing and the cleaning service was the best. Good restaurants were hard to find but there is an amazing Italian bistro on 19.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely recommend!

Tv fell off the wall. Was never notified the new tv was installed, it wasn’t. I’m totally fine with no tv. I’m just curious when the next 125 tvs will fall off the wall. I have plenty of pictures . Filling a claim with hotel, cc, and Expedia. Worst hotel chain ever.

The front desk staff was great. The issues faced was that our room on the first floor was infested with ants until I asked them for bug spray, which lit up the room. Also the balcony door did not open or close properly which only my husband could do, due to my mobility. On the second day, I spilled a little juice walking to the room and after drying, the spots on the floor were mopped up the day we checked out. I appreciated the welcome bag with the water and snacks. Good thing because the vending machine was under maintenance the day we checked in, there was a fire alarm at the hotel but guess was unsure if it was a drill or mishap. No announcement and the only way to get word was to come to the desk to ask staff since they didn't evacuate. A little concern on safety and evacuation for guests. Also the beach was shut down due to bacteria in the water but reopened two days later~ after knowing that, we didn't go in the water at all. Other than all of that, we stayed there before and will come back.

VB is fantastic. The second day on our stay the tv fell off the wall and nearly hit me. They offered me another room and I declined. Why would I want to move all my stuff to another room. They contacted me immediately but there was a major communication breakdown. The lady at the front desk told me they would fix the tv in an hour and a half. Waited nearly two hours and never heard from them. Went back to my room and the broken tv was removed and no new tv installed. Totally fine with no tv but the employees never communicated to me when they were finished. Will never stay at a Raddison hotel again. Also, I was charged an extra 21$ by the resort for no reason, getting that taken care of too. Filing claims with hotel, cc, and Expedia. Simply, the worst.

Only suggestion would be to start complimentary breakfast a little later to stay open a little later - 5:30 to 9:30 left the dining area too full.

Great experience!! The room was beautiful, the property is clean and inviting, and the service is amazing. The carport area is awesome, safe, and so convenient. I highly recommend this place if you are in VB - close to everything, awesome staff, fabulous place to stay !!!

I had a lovely vacation. The breakfast was tasty, the service was very professional and accommodating, the rooms and public spaces were very clean. I would stay here again.

Fitness center was antiquated and equipment had a dirty feel; the swimming pool was murky-couldn't see the bottom and appeared to require chlorination, Breakfast was well done with variety of offerings. We never saw any cookies on display. Easy access to beach and boardwalk. Trolley stop in front of hotel for traveling Atlantic Ave.

This hotel is very well set on Atlantic Ave. It’s close to food and shops, but so close to the beach. The rooms are nice and have lovely balconies that overlook the ocean. You can see the sunrise beautifully. The staff were usually helpful with a few who were a little sharp in their interactions. Nothing out of sorts to report. They did a wonderful job keeping main areas clean. The garage is very nicely located and aside from floor 8, you can access it from all floors so it’s super convenient! It’s tight though! Beach was nice and clean when we went. There are lots of food options walking distance and felt relatively safe as far as the strip goes. It does still cater to the younger crowd. Our hotel was pretty family friendly. One of the best things was the breakfast! While it’s the typical warm breakfast of every hotel, their cook actually seasons the food and that was refreshing and delicious! I highly recommend this place. Only downside is that the hotel itself is a little older and there are signs of wear and tear around the hotel. And they only clean stay over rooms if you stay 3 or more days. But they were accommodating for any change in towels and linen and taking out trash.

Pool: Not sure, as we didn't use it, but did walk in the area and it stunk bad. Could just be the water needed to be cleaned or something else. Again, we did not use it Hotel ground: Indoor 1st floor cleaned daily and looked nice. Everything looks fairly new inside. Outside (non-hotel issue): The VB ocean water, contaminated: Due to high levels of bacteria, we were unable to use it for several days. Making our beach vacation very limited and poor. This is a VB issue that should be resolved. It is every sadder that they know about the issue and refuse to resolve it, as they have signs already made up and ready to display. I would think twice about taking your family (kids) to VB to play in contaminated sand and water, all I can think of is swimming in poop. Again, this is not the hotel, it is VB not caring for the water or people.

I liked the layout of the room with the living space and desk close to the balcony. It was convenient having the parking level on the floor my room was on. I could take my luggage straight to my room without having to go through the lobby or take an elevator.

Very comfortable, spacious room. Only complaint is the parking garage. So tight and hard to park. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Only problem: phone in the room was not working and they were not able to find anyone to fix it. Any time we ordered a food delivery, etc they had no way of letting us know it had arrived.

The view was great! Right on the beach with easy access. Pro: pretty good breakfast, friendly staff, plenty of restaurants nearby. Cons: Breakfast ended at 9am which is very inconvenient for vacation changing this to 10am would be more ideal, the parking garage is very tight when full, pool is not heated, the overwhelming smell of marijuana in the hotel.
