We was very pleased for a quick trip
- 4/5
We were there for 2 nights. After first night we were out of our room at 9 am and returned after 4 pm. Our room was not made up. As we had plans and we needed to get showered and dressed we could not have the room done. And it was code to 5 pm. I did not lie that and for that reason I will go to another hotel when we are in Washington
- 3/5
Could be cleaner.
- 4/5
Absolutely great experience with the indoor pool and comfy beds. We had a great time and would visit again. Robert at the front desk is great and was so accommodating for an early check in. The bartender jazzy was so personable and made the experience even better. Would recommend to anyone
- 3/5
Staff was nice enough. Room was good.
- 4/5
I would stay here again. The location is the selling point. Lots of food options and the Metro station in walking distance. Comfortable furniture in the room. Happy with the TV channel options.

Service was terrible. When I received the bill there were things included (drinks and food) that we hadn't had. When I told the man at the front desk he said he couldn't do anything about two of those charges, but that he was going to remove the other two. I then received another bill and to our surprise he had just changed those two charges to another one for a room service that didn't even happen. When I went to complain about it again, not only was he rude, but he also said he could do nothing about it and that if that service was there was because we ordered it. He didn't care that we were telling him we hadn't had any food, drinks or room service while we were there, and he didn't bother to check the times or anything else. So basically this hotel is making us pay over 50$ for foods and drinks we didn't have. On top of that, the room wasn't really clean when we arrived and the water pressure was terrible. We were very disappointed with the service, and the quality definitely doesn't match the price point.
- 5/5
We liked the location but our room was never cleaned & made up after the first day - they did fix the clogged sink in the bathroom however
- 3/5
Clean room. However our room was set up a bit awkward, not enough charging stations. Parking is odd, you had to drive around the corner, push a button to let yourself in. Not much was explained at check in, had to figure out that your keycard is needed to go up in the elevators. Had to ask where the pool was as well. The bed was very comfortable. Close to many dining shops,
- 5/5
The only problem was the bathroom door was dragging on the bottom and it was very difficult to open and close. Room 718.

The pull out bed did not have linen. We called front desk 6 times we never received it. They did not offer to give us another room. My son was very uncomfortable trying to sleep. As a result we were up all night.

The room was clean and nice size. Online, it shows that they have cots and cribs. I cane with a baby. The staff did not want to get me a crib. They claimed that they had none. I ended up with my baby in my hed which meant that i was up all night, worrying that he doesnt fall off...

Attended the cherry blossom festival, and the location was perfect. It’s a hotel was clean modern the staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

It was great
- 5/5
Friendly staff, tiny pool and close to the Metro for easy transport to the National Mall.
- 1/5
From the moment we arrived, we were not greeted. The front desk agent was unwelcoming, unresponsive, and did not answer our questions. We were not even properly provided with a functioning room key. Our reservation was for three guests, including a sofa bed. I requested assistance to prepare it, which was declined. Later, we realized the room had only two towels. Multiple requests (starting at 8:30 PM) for a pillow, blanket, and additional towels were ignored, and nothing was delivered. When my husband approached the front desk in person, the same dismissive and unhelpful attitude continued. At a minimum, a hotel should provide basic essentials such as a prepared bed, sufficient towels, and proper bedding. Unfortunately, these standards were not met. We were unable to rest and chose to leave after one night. To be fair, the following morning Nick and Michael were professional, acknowledged the situation, and apologized. We also received confirmation of a refund, which we appreciate. However, when a stay is so dependent on the conduct of a single staff member, it raises concerns about overall service standards. i highly recommend considering other options in the area.

The hotel was clean and up to date. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff was mostly very helpful and cheerful. Pool was kind of small but perfect for the kids which was all we needed it for. The parking garage was convenient and easy to use. The only issue we had was our key cards kept stopping working and you can't get to your floor, pool floor or in from the parking garage without your hotel key card. The staff got a little testy when we constantly needed the cards fixed.
- 5/5
Fantastic staff! Great amenities for a smaller hotel. The only thing that was a negative was it’s a bit of a dangerous area (Navy Yard) and lots of huge rats in the neighborhood!!
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Able to get to all of the area landmarks within a few minutes. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great place to stay .. very close to lots of local places and things to do . Would stay here again .. only one elevator working while I was there but other than that enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
great
- 3/5
The staff were nice. One elevator was broken so the wait was long as we were on the 11th floor. There were no extra blankets for the sofa. There was only one coffee pod for the in room coffee service.

Great hotel. Customer service was great hotel was nice and clean .. Restaurants near by almost walking distance was convenient.

The room was in pristine condition. The front desk staff was very accommodating by moving me into a room that was more of my preference and unjudgemental helping me when I locked myself out of my room.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Great staff, clean rooms, and well-organized the way the place was run
- 5/5
Room well taken care of. Staff very helpful and friendly.
- 2/5
Front desk staff bizarre with generally bad attitudes. They would be better off working in a rendering plant.
- 5/5
In dc for the museums. 2nd time at this hotel. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.
- 3/5
Room was nice, staff was great. The pool however was disgusting. It had hair all through it and little white stuff floating around. If you do decide to park with them it's 55$ the refundable fee will be taken back and used for the parking.

Clean room, helpful staff and good location. Great stay!!!
- 4/5
Suite was great except AC was super loud.
- 4/5
One of my cons was that the spare blanket provided in the room was covered in hair. I went down to the front desk to request a new one but it took them over an hour to deliver the blanket as there was only one housekeeper available. This was around 2 am and we were asleep by the time the blanket was delivered. My other con was the confusion around parking. Upon entering the parking garage I took a photo of the QR code at the entrance to open the gate. At the same time I was greeted by an attendant who was doing valet parking. The website said self parking so I was a little confused, but he gave me a ticket and I gave him my car keys. I was sent a text after checking in to enter my credit card info to pay for parking. I did that shortly after. When checking out the next day, I went to valet pickup and they were asking me to pay again. I explained that I was sent a text and they said I was good to go, but I had to remind them that they still had my car key. I figured out that the parking garage had two parking systems going on. This made the parking confusing and it seemed to confuse the staff as well.

Excellent hotel
- 5/5
Really nice staff! Incredible convenience. Close to the metro, no need for a car. And at night parking is free on the street if you do have one. Lovely cleaning staff. I wasn’t a fan of the strong perfume smelling incense they burn at the front door, it’s pretty overwhelming.
- 5/5
Front desk knew all the spots for having a good time. Clean and friendly environment.
- 5/5
The bathroom was very clean!
- 3/5
The front desk clerk Nour was extremely rude and confrontational. The rest of the staff and the hotel were amazing.
- 5/5
Everything was very nice
- 4/5
Room was very nice. Front desk was very helpful. Two areas for improvement - coffe service was not refreshed by housekeeping, so we had to go downstairs in the morning to get refills. Also, the front desk staff had difficulty on both days working with the computer system on our billing
- 4/5
Staff was wonderful!
- 3/5
shower was cold. Other than that everything was great
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect lot of options for food.
- 5/5
9 minute walk to Baseball stadium $12 Uber ride to DC only negative was the Breakfast bistro was too expensive 2 Coffee, 2 Bagels and a cookie $39 there are 2 coffee cafe 3 minute walk from Hotel
- 4/5
The property was very well maintained. The staff was very professional. The only thing I did not agree with was the parking. The underground parking was very tight and expensive, but unfortunately comparable with the other rates in the area it was adequate.
- 4/5
This was our second time staying with you. The woman who greeted us and checked us in was lovely. Big smile and very efficient. The bathroom in the lobby was in great need of both times I used it. That was not the case the first time we stayed. Our shower diverter was not working (10PM) and Engineer Chris did his best to repair it. Results were good enough but more water was still flowing from the tub spout. We had to turn off the AC at 2:30 AM
- 5/5
The staff at the front test were awesome. The lady that checked us in was the most professional and kindest receptionist that I have ever encountered at a hotel. She truly went above and beyond to help us with anything that we needed. I would stay wherever she is working because I know that the customer service would be over the top. The hotel was neat, clean and quiet. I was happy that everything that we needed before and after the game was in walking distance.
- 5/5
Great area
- 5/5
The Courtyard is great. Unfortunately we were put in a handicapped room and the bed was not up to Marriott quality
- 5/5
We were spending the day with our kids and grandkids; the front desk manager arranged for us to have rooms right across from each other, which was greatly appreciated
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Besides the small pool, this hotel was fabulous!
- 4/5
Overall very nice. Mentioned more than once to front desk that the hall needed to be vacuumed. Wasn’t done in the 3 nights we were there. Good location in Navy Yard with easy walk to restaurants.
- 4/5
I love that the hotel was within walking distance to Nationals Stadium. We were in town for the Savannah Bananas game and I wanted something close. Nice area with restaurants and bars. I felt safe walking back late at night to the hotel as well. Parking is a little iffy. Spots are narrow and the garage is tight.
- 5/5
Very clean, updated hotel with great, kind staff!
- 4/5
The property was located within an easy walking distance to a variety of different restaurant options, and the baseball park.
- 3/5
I had a great experience until my last morning. After double checking that the check out time was 11am I got into the shower at around 915, only to hear my room door open and then close whilst i was in the shower. Ten minutes later as I was getting dressed housekeeping tried to enter my room again. I opened the door and explained i was still in the room and had not checked out (it was around 930 at this time i think). About 20 minuyes later housekeeping tried to enter my room for the third time! I again opened the door and explained that I was still in the room. The young lady that I spoke to had a bad attitude and was waving a piece of paper at me that apparently indicated that I had already checked out, which I obviously had not. I understand that mistakes can happen, but after the first time they realized I was still in the room they should have updated the record to say that I had not yet checked out. I did not appreciate the bad attitude that I received. I did tell the Front Desk person what had happened when I checked out and she was extremely apologetic, she said that a mistake had occurred on their end and that the system indicated that I had checked out at 650AM, when that obviously was not the case. As i said, I understand mistakes can happen but I don't understand why someone did not take the opportunity to correct the mistake once they realized that I was still in the room.

Very expensive for an average room
- 4/5
Great Location and Comfortable Stay!
- 3/5
Wish we had parking.
- 4/5
Great friendly staff
- 4/5
Liked easily accessible parking garage. Room was nice and clean. Heat/ac was hard to reach comfortable temp. All staff were friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
Great location for catching a Nats game!
- 4/5
The “City view” rooms aren’t worth the extra cost. Onsite (hotel) parking is expensive ($50/day). TV remote is far from “user friendly."
- 1/5
We discovered in the night that our mattress had a huge wet patch, which seeped through the sheets. When we stripped the bed, there was a faint odor of urine. Management moved us to another room but refused to comp us for the night - nor were they particularly apologetic.
- 5/5
Great location. Very walkable neighborhood. Staff was friendly and the on-site Starbucks was a real treat.
- 3/5
Besides having to pay a fair amount for parking overnight in their garage, the hotel experience and staff was quite pleasant.
- 3/5
I like the location, but the AC in the unit was broken and was either blowing cold air very hard or would switch to very hot air within seconds. As we got into the room around 11pm and it took us time to realize what exactly was happening it was too late to call
- 4/5
Great location close to the baseball park and Capital Hill. The metro stop was close by for further attractions. There were also lots of walkable dining options. The Bistro coffee and breakfast was pricey, but there was a fantastic coffee shop next door that we frequented during our stay. Would definitely stay again.
- 3/5

This new hotel is very clean and conveniently located to everything in the area. I enjoyed my stay and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
- 4/5
Checking in wasn’t too good
- 4/5
Was a great location and comfortable, they did replace towels even though we hung them up letting them know we would reuse. Front staff was really helpful when we needed anything.
- 5/5
Clean and good service.
- 4/5
Great location to visit family, attend ball games and walk to museums and also the Anacostia River. Safe area with lots of families and dogs! Room was clean and comfortable. The AC was loud and kept coming on thru the night blasting cold air. Very hard to control. There must have been a youth group staying on our floor as kids were running up and down the halls until 10pm
- 5/5
Very good staff. Parking very convenient.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Walk everywhere within 10 minutes.
- 5/5
LaShae was so welcoming and helpful upon arrival! She listened to my rant about my stay at a property prior to booking the courtyard Marriott. Assured me i would have a great stay here and it was definitely that! When checking out, Barbara was so nice and helpful! Thank you for being so great!!

There was a shooting in the lobby of the hotel on the saturday night that we stayed there. Three shots were fired by a 14 year old at a party in the hotel lobby. Thank God nobody was hurt, but one of the glass doors was shattered, and everyone was traumatized.
- 5/5
The metro was just steps away in a lively district, filled with many different food options and bars! Room was bigger than expected, and they let us check in early!
- 5/5
Everyone and everything about the property was wonderful. Everyone was accommodating. We had a large group and the staff went out of their way to help with our needs.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, very clean and great bistro.
- 4/5
The hotel is close to Navy Yard amenities. While the room was nice, I prefer a walk-in shower to a tub/shower combo. Also, the nail salon on the ground level is overly scented and permeates the Lobby area, which meant my asthmatic wife had to race through from door to elevators, with each passing.
- 1/5
Expensive, felt there are better hotels compared to this with benefits.
- 5/5
It was very convenient to everything.
- 5/5
No good food breakfast in the morning

Everything else was wonderful!

Love this hotel, location & cleanliness

- 4/5
We had a nice corner room on the 10th floor. Wish the lobby was more like a true hotel lobby. The lobby is small and a nail business is just off the main floor. Personally think the nail salon space should be part of lobby for guests to enjoy.
- 5/5
This location was absolutely perfect for a Nationals game.
- 3/5
Overall room condition average, quiet, and safe, convenient location. However, Due to the sanitary and equipment issues of the bathroom, I would not recommend staying at this hotel at this time.
- 4/5
Good location for our needs. Will be less attractive once the circulator ceases to exist.
- 5/5
My stay was fabulous. The area is beautiful and very walkable for the numerous stadiums around
- 5/5
This is a very nice hotel and so convenient to walk to the many restaurants and bars in the area, and only 2 blocks from the Washington Nationals stadium!
- 4/5
The associate who checked me in is respectful and kind. He is very hospitable.
- 4/5
Good Location. Near public transportation.
- 4/5
General Manager left a text message earlier in the morning of check in that there was an issue with the cc on file and the room would be canceled if I didn’t provide a new# . So after that was provided the front desk check in was still confusing to them . The room was nice , but bath towels and wash cloths were short for a two person stay . We called down to the desk for one more of each , however they were never provided. Overall the room was nice , yet on the small side . It is convenient to the Metro ( if you take the Metro to the hotel , exit on the Department of Transportation side and save yourself a ten minute longer walk ) and Nationals Ballpark.
- 5/5
The proximity to all the metros, restaurants and the Nationals Ball park. There was a grocery store a hop skip and a jump from the hotel. The staff was very considerate and helpful.
- 2/5
The service at the reception was non-existent. One of the persons at the front desk was so unengaged that it felt like we were imposing on her even when we had a simple question.
- 5/5
I didn't realize parking was a separate charge but the garage was attached to the hotel and we were able to walk or catch the train
- 5/5
Very clean
- 4/5
The representative that checked us in was fantastic. She was so pleasant and nice for a 1 am arrival. My only gripe is on the breakfast. It's not your traditional continental like it is at most Courtyard's. They have a cafe in the lobby and, unless you ask directly, there's no indication on what is included in the breakfast for your room. We thought we were ordering the right things but ended up paying thirty dollars for two coffees and two yogurts. The guy behind us ended up asking directly and she told him specifically what we could order. It was so dumb. Either they need a sign or offer the information at check-in. Definitely not my favorite Courtyard stay.
