For what I paid for a night, I wasn't happy. The property is old and needs a face lift. My room was clean but dirty at the same time. There were stains running down the wall near the bed, curtains were missing, the tub was a dingy brown color( I didn't get in it)
- 3/5
room was okay
- 4/5
5 minute walk to metro station which gets you downtown in about 15-20 mins. Worth it for the cheaper hotel price! Lovely room. Great staff. The plugs on the lights were awkward to use with travel adapters and there weren’t any other plugs to use beside the beds. That’s my only fault/ improvement I can think of!

Quite functional hotel. Great location and supportive staff The hotel could make do with a bit of renovation on property and more cleanliness

Good and quiet but you need a microwave and a fridge
- 2/5
It was in a quiet area of town. The lobby is updated and presents very nicely. Turns out that is misleading. Very small room. The bathtub was chipped pretty badly around the drain and dark stains around the edges. We didn't feel that the room was cleaned thoroughly daily. The staff was not very helpful. No coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave. The ice machines were all out except one in a 6 story building. Parking was not on site and they charged extra to park down the street. The "attached" restaurant never had more than one person in it, so we opted to skip it. Even the staff was sitting outside looking for patrons to come in.
- 3/5
Although the hotel is a bit old,the location is ok,the service is good.

- 4/5
Location was ideal for our activities.
- 3/5
Old dated rooms with uncomfortable beds. Nice location though
- 3.5/5
Good location Unstable WiFi connection in the room
- 4.5/5
Good value for money. Close to metro. Close to cafés. Safe neighbourhood. And clean area
- 3.5/5
Very comfortable beds, clean fresh sheets, very good breakfast, great housekeeping in this location. The room had a loud room a/c, plus a dehumidifier with a noisy compressor and a free standing mini fridge so it wasn't a quiet to sleep with those three kicking in and off all night long
- 4.5/5
Location, price A bit old facilities but is ok
- 4/5
We had already paid online, but they wanted to enter our credit card for the $50 deposit in case of property damage. There was free coffee in the lobby and two vending machines offering water, juice, and snacks, but the prices were very high—$5 for a bottle of water that would normally cost about $1. Since the rooms do not include a refrigerator or complimentary drinking water, buy water beforehand from the nearby CVS. The room was comparable to a great 3-star Hilton hotel I stayed at previously. The main differences were that they did not provide toothpaste, slippers, or bottled water. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we found no dust or cockroaches. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The bathtub looked a bit old and worn but was clean and functional. There is an ice machine on the second floor, which we appreciated. Parking costs $25 per night, but if you don't have a car, that's not an issue. The subway station is only a 4-minute walk away, and we used it to get everywhere. If you plan to use the subway even just in mornings and afternoons, buy an unlimited pass—worth it. There is also an excellent nearby bakery called “Bread Furst” that serves breakfast. Dont miss it.

This was adequate for an overnight stay but the room safe didn’t work properly and the spigot for the bathtub didn’t either. TV reception was bad on premium channels, only some of which were available.

It was in a good location. Close to the metro station, coffee shops, & some restaurants. The rooms were small, uncomfortable beds, & the smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby.

The location is close to the metro and the staff is great Older property with new furnishings. Need more work on bathrooms

The room & service was great. Will come back soon
- 3/5
Overall a decent stay for the price and area. Parking was not worth being charged 25 dollars for. Front desk staff was very sweet and helpful
- 3/5
There was no refrigerator in the room , I was promised one will be there the next day and it was not there . The front of the hotel need to be sweep up daily. The rooms should have at least two water bottle daily…
- 2/5
They have updated beds and art but they need to update carpets and bathrooms
- 5/5
Good location. Close to metro
- 3/5
The room was clean but or bed felt pretty hard and the shower head is pretty low. Good for one night and we're overall satisfied with our visit.
- 2/5
Very run down
- 4/5
Parking is $25 a night.
- 3/5
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Expedia should remove it from their site.
- 5/5
No coffee maker or fridge, however they do have coffee downstairs and Bread Furst is just a walk away with amazingly well priced pastries and coffee for DC. The staff were very friendly and patient!

- 5/5
Nice !
- 3/5
Mattress was very hard
- 4/5
Great value in the D.C. area. Initially paid for overnight garage parking, but there were no spots in the lot. Returned the tag, and was refunded the fee. There are usually overnight spots available in the neighborhood, but just something to keep in mind. It looks like the garage is undergoing repairs.
- 3/5
It is upsetting that there is no "Days Inn" sign at all on Connecticut Avenue. Finding it, and understanding the parking situation, is also difficult (and expensive).
- 4/5
I loved the very comfortable clean beds in our room. No water, microwave or coffeepot in the room, but I guess, that's what kept the price of the room low. And the same with the bathroom. Very clean, but lacked lotion. I would definitely book this place again. So convenient and in the heart of the city.
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
Our stay was disappointing. The hotel showed clear signs of neglect, with poor maintenance throughout the property. The lobby was particularly unpresentable and failed to create a welcoming first impression. Overall, the condition and upkeep did not meet expectations, and significant improvements are needed in both appearance and overall management.
- 5/5
Affordable, clean room and bedding, great location and easy partking
- 5/5
👍👍👍
- 3/5
Can't beat this location and price. Steps to the metro or bus lines.
- 2/5

- 4/5
Room was well-organized.
- 4/5
bad; not many eateries, mainly residential
- 5/5
Very cleanly maintained. We had booked it at very last minute. The room was ready for us. There is a very good bakery near by for quick breakfast. Hotel had coffee available. Friendly staff.
- 2/5
Run down
- 2/5
The place is deplorable. From the lobby to the hallway, it was smelly, and the carpet in the room was dusty, which is why I had to check out early. The entire hotel needs refurbishing. I would never go back there nor recommend it to anyone.
- 4/5
Clean room, staff was good but amenities poor no fridge, coffee maker or microwave in the room. Advertised free on site parking, it was not.
- 3/5
Old property; could do with a facelift. Carpets were old and dated. Lack of coffee brewing option in room was a drag. However, lots of cool food places around hotel.
- 2/5
Loud noise from the restaurant on the first floor is a distraction. Not only the singing but the bass sound continues until 2am. Terrible.
- 5/5
Pretty decent hotel.
- 4/5
Entrance was hard to find
- 5/5
It was a little noisy after 11pm
- 3/5
Just ok
- 3/5
No refrigerator or microwave. Outdated rooms wifi was public no password needed to access.
- 1/5
The bathroom in my room had not been cleaned at all.
- 4/5
It could definitely use some TLC. The bathroom was worn and chipped in places and old. The bed was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner cover was cracked and broken in spots. The hallway and elevator area was worn and threadbare. The ice machine and vending machines were broken on my floor. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It’s right on the Metro line, with a station 2 blocks away. The National Zoo is 2 stops away. All in all not a bad hotel, just could use some TLC .
- 5/5
This hotel is clean and the customer service was excellent!
- 3/5
Good place to sleep. The room was clean, lacks of having a fridge or microwave.
- 5/5
No I came for a specific reason!
- 3/5
Tolerable for a budget hotel. Good location. Staff were courteous and professional. Lobby and hallways were clean. Room was only marginally clean. Outside areas and parking were filthy. No fridge, no microwave, no breakfast. Bed was so hard I might as well have slept on the floor.
- 5/5
Excellent service and attention
- 5/5
Upon arriving, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful. Walking into the room I was pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness and the attention to detail. I left the hotel came back later in the staff member at the front desk was extremely helpful and impatient as I am new to the area. Upon leaving and my checkout process was extremely efficient and the staff member at the front desk was again extremely helpful, very friendly. It is clear that time was spent in training.
- 3/5
Don't stay here
- 4/5
Good hotel
- 4/5
No laundry for own clothes in the property. Good hotel
- 5/5
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was competent, the location was good and most importantly safe and calm.
- 2/5
The security guard was sleeping on the couch in the lobby (it’s not really a lobby, just a long hallway). The heat was either on off or set to inferno… The elevators were super sketchy… Just was t what I was expecting.
- 5/5
This is undoubtedly one of the best value hotels in DC! The location is great, just two blocks from the Metro, and the staff were outstanding. Lisa at the front desk was on her way out of the hotel after her shift when I came to the front desk and asked if there was anyone who could sew a button back on my dress coat as I was heading out to dinner with important contacts when the button came off. Small thing, but it looked awful! Lisa found thread and a sewing kit and fixed it in just ten minutes! Rather than pass the buck, and even though her shift was over, she took care of me and made everything perfect for my big event. I can't thank her enough!
- 5/5
Yes the laundry was nice and clean staff was very friendly and helpful
- 3/5
Did online check in yet front desk staff did not notice until afterwards and made us stand 10 minutes just to get checked in. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable-- no comfort as it indicated that there was a pillow top mattress. Bathroom floor was very slippery, no microwave or fridge in room, very loud customers, thin walls, no amenities as described, no breakfast, no tea only coffee which we don't drink. Wouldn't recommend to others
- 2/5
The room was dirty when I arrived, and the hallways and lobby constantly smelled like weed. The ice machine didn't work, and people were very noisy in the hallways until 3 a.m. Overall, not a great experience.
- 5/5
Was very nice room and staff
- 3/5
The room was only okay. Rug was old, TV reception spotty at times, no mini fridge, had to request a coffee maker and the bathroom was old and worn also. The place definitely needs to be updated and refreshed. The location is great though and the staff helpful.
- 4/5
Everything was amazing! The staff even helped me save $50 on my room!
- 5/5
Had a good experience.
- 5/5
Friendly staff!!! Clean rooms as always!!! Always seems so clean when I check in!!
- 3/5
The room was in good condition, but the lobby was messy. Lots of loud guests in other rooms.
- 2/5
EIN needs to be accepted and I had issues regardless where I purchase or locked the deal. They did not accept my EIN which is against the law.. Some crap given it has t be 501 C from D. C 501 C are federal tax exempt not state and D.C is not a state
- 4/5
Good affordable housing for extended stay visitors.
- 2/5
The check-in process was slow. The front desk staff was not sure if the deposit was charged or not. He asked me to check my bank account. But the amount definitely would not appear on my bank account immediately. This is time wasting.
- 3/5
Room was reasonable, yet outdated. Staff weere courteous.
- 1/5
Yes, I was comfortable in that room. The heating was horrible and the water was cold. Also, bugs were in the room which made it very uncomfortable for me to sleep.
- 2/5
Nor safe area
- 4/5
Rooms are clean, service is good, prices are decent but it smells like weed everywhere in the hall, unfortunately.
- 5/5
Attention to detail. Clean and presentable rooms. A fair price.
- 2/5
It felt unsafe and dirty. Staff were fine but someone had peed in the elevator as we were checking in. We left one night early.
- 5/5
The property is always well staffed, or so it seems. The property is normally clean and orderly. Sometimes there are people who are hanging around the front entrance to the facility and that’s not always a good look.
- 5/5
Too many people hanging out around the perimeter of the property who may or may not be guests.
- 5/5
No
- 1/5
A/C was broken , shower water don’t get hot and it was to many bugs
- 4/5
Very clean
- 1/5
There was a smell in the room, the bathroom was outdated and didn’t look clean. The bedding was not comfortable to sleep on and they charge $25 or more for parking depending on the car size. The front desk receptionist upon arrival was not friendly and at first told us she didn’t have any rooms available since we checked in at a later time.
- 4/5
Room was nice as well as the staff. The lobby and parking area could benefit from some TLC. Overall not bad for the price.
- 1/5
I was robbed. They took fifty dollars from me for parking, and the parking lot is cramped and uncomfortable. I checked out of the hotel early and didn't receive my money.
- 3/5
Location good for American Univ. 1 1/2 block away there is an excellent bakery that also serves coffee, Bread Furst, but they open at 8AM.
- 2/5
Room heater didnt work so i had to get my room switched .over night front desk was rude .
- 5/5
Rooms are very clean and orderly.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Room was clean, heater didn’t work.
- 5/5
Clean and neat!
- 3/5
Location was perfect. Other than that nothing special. Older hotel. Very little positive features
- 2/5
The hotel is dated and its bed was terrible, the bathtub was discolored and it looked dirty. The elevator was dirty and wet. The front desk staff wasn’t the friendliest, but the room service person was great very friendly and helpful, she was great.
- 1/5
.
- 4/5
Clean comfortable room
- 3/5
No water, but there is ice cube and coffee 24hr. Receptionist open 24/7 Place located near groceries, bakery, restaurant, metro station, bus stop.
- 1/5
Terrible. No soap, machine for air conditioner/heater was physically broken the plastic was falling apart. Leaving the fan on made me sneeze too much. Probably old pipes and materials on the air conditioner that can cause harm and make people sick. Mirror was also broken in the bathroom.
- 1/5
So dirty
- 4/5
Staff were so very nice. We had some issues checking me in and a problem with the TV--the extra care that staff took was really above and beyond--so very kind, friendly, and sweet, both front desk, management, and maintenance. This is a great hotel, just two blocks from a metro. Only improvement I'd suggest is coffee maker in the room.
- 5/5
The room was flawless, the bed comfortable as can be. The late checkout topped it off! Just a perfect weekend treat to myself. Let’s do it again soon! 🙂
- 5/5
The room was spotless and the staff was nice. Hotel located near metro.
- 4/5
Staff, staff, staff - FABULOUS!
- 5/5
Clean room, and good front desk service
- 1/5
I was told to leave although i paid for everything. the lobby lady was racist with me because my name is mohammad.
- 5/5
Courteous staff
- 3/5
I enjoyed the surrounding areas
- 3/5
No microwaves, 1 ice machine working, some questionable people hanging out outside, nightly parking rate- limited. There was however two accessible computers to use and print from if needed. Room was clean.
- 5/5
room was very pleasant
- 4/5
Room was clean, had everything but a fridge. Maybe we needed to ask for one. Beds were comfortable but definitely full not queen size. Parking was plentiful for $25/ night which was listed ahead of time. Overall, it was a decent hotel for this price. Everything else around is much more expensive.
- 1/5
Parking area is open. This is a pretty average hotel.
- 4/5
There were vending machines for food/drinks/snacks but I did not use them. There was coffee in the lobby. There's an amazing bakery up the street, and an Italian and Thai restaurant across the street that were great. A grocery store and the Metro subway was two blocks away. There were non-guests hanging in the lobby and outside which was not great but they did not bother me or other guests. The front desk staff either ignored me or took a lot of time to help whoever was in front of me with their reservations. I got frustrated on the two times I tried to get help and just left after waiting more than five minutes. I just needed change to leave the housekeeper a tip If I am in the part of town again, I would book at the hotel again. I just needed a clean room, working shower and access to food and transportation. I had what I needed and with my room requests fulfilled, I had a good stay.
- 2/5
Bathrooms was shabby..., not clean, tub surface was broken, etc.
- 5/5
Excellent in deed
- 5/5
There was many convenient shops nearby. The room was clean and quiet. Would go again.
- 5/5
No thank you
- 4/5
Staff and room were both good. The description says they have food and bar on location. This is actually a different building. It was a nice restaurant also but the hotel description was misleading. We would stay here again if/when we are in town
- 3/5
Not having microwave cofficee machin no fridge and not enghe shampo .
- 3/5
Proximity to where we had business in DC is excellent!! The location was perfect!
- 5/5
Great front staff and adored the check in service here! Free coffee or tea at front too!
- 5/5
Great for price quick check in and out and friendly staff
- 5/5
A good, decent room and bathroom. The bed wasn’t as comfortable but this was a vast improvement from a year ago to date!
- 3/5
The room was as clean as it could be. There’s rust everywhere and it’s so run down.
- 3/5
Pictures of the property are definitely not recent. Hotel feels older than the pictures make it look. Bathrooms are small. No coffee maker in room. Only available in lobby. Staff was nice when need to interact with, but they did not acknowledge me or my wife anytime we walked by. Best part of the hotel is the proximity to the metro and buses. Extremely convenient. Overall, it met the need of a place to sleep but probably not someplace I would book again.
- 1/5
At the time when we arrived, they had no information aboutreservation and had to spend a lot more than hour and a half to find their reservation. Very poor service.
- 3/5
Not as per Name of Days inn.
- 4/5
Ok facility but for the price it's more like a motel.
- 3/5
The place is no frills with little around it. But the room is clean and the bed is comfortable. If you're looking for luxury and beautiful surroundings- this isn't it. If you need a place to sleep for the night, it's fine.
- 3/5
Bed and aleeping area was nice and clean. Bathroom was okay but tub/shower was terrible. Very stained and worn. Finally has hot water when we were done showering. Check in thru text was too much. Had to re enter all info. Should be way easier. Parking waa terrible. The very limited spaces were so small you couldn't get luggage out of backseat once parked. Parking garage was xloses so not sure where guests can even park. Rate was reasonable for what you get.
- 1/5
The website lied about amenities, restaurant/room service and quality of rooms
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
The person in the front desk was very impolite The presentation of the hotel was not pleasant.
- 5/5
Good enough for one night for a visitor. Safe and quiet.
- 4/5
I like it.
- 3/5
The place needs a full renovation including new carpet, paint job and upgrades in the bathrooms. Get rid of the dark brown carpet please.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 3/5
Everything is too old
- 4/5
Parking pay
- 4/5
Location was ok. Room smelled extremely moldy and entire property in great need of renovation. We left within 5 minutes and went to another hotel in the area. Staff was extremely helpful.
- 3/5
Seemed a little dirty, but it was decent and did the job for what I paid.
- 4/5
Good location and easy parking available
- 1/5
There was spiders and spider web. Also other room’s people started screaming in the middle of night around 2 am.
- 4/5
Some residents were loud The hotel phone rang at 3am Front desk staff very nice Good place to stay to walk close to restaurants and the Metro
- 1/5
Very dirty old hotel, do yourself a favor and stay sonewhere else
- 3/5
the area the hotel was in was nice , the staff were also very welcoming! overall it was okay
- 5/5
the hotel is nice, folks. don’t be snobby
- 3/5
Broker air conditioner
- 4/5
Budget friendly place to stay
- 5/5
I loved my time here! Stayed here a week while I waited for my new apartment to be ready, and everything was great! Food options right outside, there’s a train station that was like a 5 minute walk, also a grocery store that’s a 5 min walk… and a train station that’s a 5 min walk. Beds comfy, bathrooms super clean, housekeeping comes often and they’re all so sweet and everyone at the front desk was amazing! I would 1000000% come back here.
- 3/5
No fridge broken ice machine on my floor. You can “rent” a fridge I found out on checkout. This is not a good option if in DC for an extended time.
- 5/5
The Italian restaurant next door delivers to the rooms. No in-hotel room service, But the restaurant was ok.
- 4/5
hotel is old and looks run down. bed look
- 5/5
Na
- 3/5
Price good. Parking is extra. Bed was hard
- 3/5
The area was very good but the building was very old, the bathroom and shower need update specifically the bed frame was very noisy. No microwave or little fridge in the room or even anywhere in the property for the gusts to use.
- 4/5
Tight parking space has always been an issue with this hotel. The parking garage in the back of the hotel has two foors with a car rental company using part of the space. The ground parking has a low ceiling with lally columns in the way. In our last visit they had the parking garage closed. If they are going to use the land, they should seriously consider having one built. It might be somewhat costly initially but will pay dividends in the long run.
- 5/5
On the bus line
- 5/5
Was very ean
- 5/5
Older hotel, looks a bit dated, but my room was clean and comfortable. Very safe and convenient area, easy walk from the Van Ness metro station and there are a grocery store, CVS, and multiple restaurants all close by. Room was a little stuffy because the wall AC unit struggled to move air beyond the bed area. I was a little surprised that there was no housekeeping service during my 2 night stay.
- 1/5
Will not stay here again
- 2/5
Hotel is walking distance to the metro station, grocery store and eating places. Room is clean but carpet is very old. No refrigerator and tried to get ice but wasn’t available. Maids do not speak English so brush up on your Spanish. Very late at night on our last day, we heard a guy yelling and fighting with someone, it sounded like it was on the same floor. I was very disappointed about that.
- 4/5
The stay was fine. The AC randomly turned on and off throughout the night with a rattling sound. There was quite a bit of detritus in the AC itself, and the paneling to redirect the flow of air was missing completely. Housekeeping and front desk service was excellent, parking is $25 a night that was not mentioned on Hotels.com but not the worst price in DC I've seen for paid parking. Only about a quarter mile from the Van Ness/UDC metro station, which was nice.
- 5/5
Room was clean and well kept. The beds are firm but we like firm. Excellent place to stay for a weekend excursions. 2 blocks to the metro. Great quaint restaurants just steps away. Metro 2 short blocks with a Starbucks right at the entrance. Excellent bakery 2 doors down and everything is fresh. May i make sugestion and make sure you have at least one meal at the Viatmese restaurant, authentic excellent food, service is great, open bar and very reasonably priced. We even ordered for our trip home. Golds Gym 1/2 block away, CVS 1 block away with an ATM, barber accross the street. Pizza place right next door, great food with open bar. Bus stop right in front of hotel. Only took us 20 minutes on the metro to the Smithsonian center. You walk off the metro into the cener and you can rent manual bikes, electric scooters, etc. I would also like to compliment Peggy the eveng clerk. She was extremly helpful and knew everything about the area. The area is safe and in a beatiful residential neighborhood. They have early check in and check out. You do have to pay for parking but the area is safe and secure. The hotel does not have many perks but that is fine for short stays. It very convenient for transportation. If you want travel Uber or Lyft, they arrive quick. If your looking for quick travel into the center of DC this is a great location. Please nite you should mail away for your metro cards so you can easiky load your cards with google. You should also download the Veo for scoot
- 3/5
They charge for parking and there is limited parking space
- 4/5
2 doors uo, breakfast bakery & coffee... Nice ambience outside. Clean room desoite the outeard appearance. Quiet area. Friendly people.
- 2/5
it was okay for the price
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
I strongly recommend the gates, was a wonderful honeymoon, the upgraded our room as a honeymoon gift.
- 5/5
My experience with this hotel was absolutely amazing. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming and helpful
- 1/5
There was a used bar of soap left in the bathroom. The staff was helpful and kind. There were not very many food places in the area, and the one that was next door was awful.
- 4/5
For the price point and location, it was great! It's not a luxury hotel, but it was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there wasn't a lot of noise or anything like that.
- 3/5
It wasn’t good, housekeeping/room service/ maintenance didn’t come to make our beds, or give us new towels, or replace our trash bags. everything was left exactly how we had it before we headed out. had to use dirty towels from previous days since housekeeping wasn’t around to give us a new one
- 5/5
Enjoyed it
- 2/5
A five night/6 day trip, the hotel stay is not one I would recommend for an extended stay (beyond 1/2 nights). We arrived at night due to flight times, check-in was terrible. There system kept shutting down while trying to process our payment. They put a hold on the full payment not just the deposit, unlike some hotels ( just an fyi). But it took 4 attempts (2 phone calls to the room and me coming to the desk) before they realized it was their system, and not our card. The building needs major upgrades, it has a slight odor in the halls. We booked two rooms, sink leaking water everywhere on the second night, my son & father was moved. Maintenance had to come fix the tub in my room, due to leaking faucet. There was a gnat/mosquito issue. The carpet is not cleaned nor vacuumed daily. I hate I did not get a pic, but a used paper towel sat in the hallway from our first night until we left. The ice machine only worked on one floor. The elevators are very small, so if you use any mobile device I do not recommend this hotel. We struggled a bit with my son’s accessibility device when using the elevators & the bathroom (shower), although they state they have accommodations. It is basic cable television with limited channels, no “WiFi”. Fortunate for my family we use disposable bedding and other disposable items. Plus I clean and disinfect before use. 2/4 front desk were kind. Area is decent, it was cheaper to Lyft to National mall. Also close to the Metro train & bear bus lines.

It was literally fine. Just…fine. Not bad, not outstanding. Kinda boring. But fine for a night’s stay.

I had a problem with one room and they changed my room with no hesitation. It would also be nice for the hotels to tell you whether you have to leave a room deposit and pay for parking up front as well. The only downsize, no microwave or refrigerator in the room.

This hotel (the room i was in) has no microwave or refrigerator so had to buy food every day and keep my pops in ice and there is no room service and $25.00 per day to park. this is a really good budget hotel, but I would not be choosing this hotel again.

Polite and professional staff and check-in. Definately on our list to come back if we are in the area again.

This is my first time staying at this property. I frequent DC on a monthly or by monthly basis for legislative meetings. Was in a time crunch with limited budget. Bottom line, you get what you pay for but dollar for dollar and amazing value. The property is obviou

The room was a great size and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The lobby may look worn and could benefit from fresh paint but the room was in tip top condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. Neighborhood was great and metro into DC minutes away by walking.

Staff was very helpful and attentive to any needs or questions I had

We stayed at this hotel for convenience to an event, but it is beyond budget. Be prepared for marijuana smoke in the parking spaces, grungy carpets and no amenities.

The room overall was okay, the tube was filthy so was the toilet seat. The water in the tub wouldn’t go down.

Plus the rooms and stuff are pretty run down and small for the price you pay.

Very disappointing. Last time at Days Inn. We will have to really look at Wyndam properties now

Staff is great. Location is very convenient. One thing that made our last stay not very good one is loud neighbors next door. They kept us up until after 12 a.m. and we went to bed at 10 p.m. I called front desk and the the front desk person said she would call them. But it didn't help. We were very tired after a long day of driving, and dealing with noisy neighbors left us even more exhausted for the nest day very important appointment. I hope there are ways that could prove to be very efficient front desk may use next time to deal with such inconsiderate guests. Thank you,

AC kept the room cool. Negatives: I read review complaints about the parking price. I wasn't bothered by the cost ($25 @ night), but be aware that the garage is small and the parking is very "tight." Also, I used the text message system to request assistance. I never rec'd a response. Suggestion: Don't tell customers that they can text message when the texts are not monitored.

Although the bathroom was excellent for someone with a disability, the room actually had a terrible smell. The bed was okay, but the carpet seemed to need a good cleaning. For us, the location was the selling point. (Plus, we thoroughly enjoyed the bakery just four doors down the block) We had no interaction with the staff, except upon checkin and out, and when I reported the smell to the front desk, there was no response whatsoever. Guess they didn't care. Price was okay, too.

Great location

Affordable worth the price

The parking was pricey, and then I was told lot was full after being charged. Hotel staff was accommodating and found me a spot. But changing that much per night and not having an adequate lot is diabolical.

The bathroom was in disrepair. The toilet wouldn’t flush. When someone repaired it they never cleaned it. It was pretty disgusting. There are no amenities except ice. Ironically, the beds were pretty comfortable and the location is convenient.

Like the hotel it’s not far from downtown DC

Great location, convenient parking, minimal conveniences. No coffee maker in room, no food in hotel, etc. Great shower.

Such a disgusting place and it truly should be shut down by the dept of health.

The only thing that was disappointing is not having a microwave, but the stay was great

The property has seen better days. We did see workers doing renovations. Not sure for what. The floors definitely need modern paint jobs and new carpets in hallways and rooms. The room was clean, however, could have used a good rug replacement. Tub glaze was starting to peel a little on 6th floor room. Hotel ran out of papers cups the 1st day and downstairs. Only had one in room. Area is great and convenient for access to the Metro. Not the worst but not the best to offer. But can deal with it again for a few days.

This was an okay property we only stayed for one night but the hotel was very outdated. Our bathroom was leaking in the shower caused a water call on the floor we had to angel the shower head to the wall. Having to pay for a room and then pay for parking as well is pretty insane to me… $25 parking and it’s limited parking. Staff was friendly, night shift looked alittle more tired. Just need some updating however the area was nice.

The hotel is pretty run-down. I thought there would be an improvement from the last time in October 2024, but the hallway, rugs, and the bathroom toilet, noises the entire night... nah.
