    Service was exceptional. Assistant manager Mackenzie was fabulous. She helped arrange last-minute brunch reservations as well as spa services. She was constantly checking in on my family and remembered our names from our first greeting. She needs a raise. Awesome hotel. Will definitely return on my next visit.

    1. Please don't allow smoking in the courtyard where people are eating and enjoying the outdoors. I had my daughter with me and the smoke really bothers her. Plus, smoking is passe, and some of the cushions have burn marks in them. 2. At check-in, please don't offer to 'upgrade' a guest's room for an additional charge. We know what we want and would like to spend. Or offer an upgrade as a courtesy for longstanding patronage. Otherwise, terrific staff. Mel was very nice to my daughter, and the little takeaway food for the trip home was a perfect finishing touch. Thank you!

    I love the Four Seasons Washington DC. The service is impeccable usually. It pains me to write anything negative, but the service this trip was mostly great, but not always great. Our breakfast was 15 minutes late, we had to switch rooms because of an error made by the front desk. The Four Seasons was very accommodating to us about these errors - free champagne, free cigar, free dessert. There is a mouse problem on the patio. It kind of ruins being on the patio if you are being interrupted by jumpy guests trying to avoid the mouse problem. We saw 7 different mice in our 1 hour on the patio.

    I arrived in DC to attend a memorial for my Mentor and could only stay 24 hours. The Four Seasons was incredibly accommodating. The House Car was available to take me to the National Cathedral for the memorial and Bourbon was very good. I received a room upgrade when I arrived and the accommodations were elegant. I will stay here again! The Four Seasons made a sad occasion as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

    The Hotel has a GREAT location on Georgetown live neibourhood. Also very near to all great spots to visit in DC. What was not amazing; we did not like so much the restaurant, was very dark and noisy. Service and concierge were excellent!

    We loved the location, cleanliness, and fully trained staff who were professional and friendly. We also enjoyed our room that was big, clean and quite. This is one the best well managed Four Season Hotels we have visited in top tourist areas. We loved the spa that was extremely nice and clean. with great pool and Jacuzzi. We noticed wheel chair accessibility to pool, Jacuzzi and shower area. Very well thought engineering and set up. We were welcomed with amazing arrangement of gourmet chocolates. All around we were happy with everything and recommend it to both families with young kids and elderly or just a get away for couples.

    Spacious rooms and nice location in Georgetown Only complaint is that they texted prior to arrival to ask what time would be there. When I said around noon they responded would try to have our room ready early. When we got there wasn’t ready and actually was not ready until after normal check in. If that hadn’t of texted we would not have had that Expectation

    The hotel room was amazing. However, we were disappointed in the ambiance in the spa area. Plastic weave furniture, no hot tea, or snacks, and the cold draft coming from the outside was not relaxing AT ALL. The spa waiting room & post massage area needs A LOT of work. I have been to RedDoor, Salamander, and Lansdowne spas and they rate better.

    the personnel greet you with a smile, fresh flowers every day , fresh coffee and the cup cakes in the morning, the restaurants the best in the city ,food was well season and served hot with a smile. The spa had fresh fruit, water and power bars ,the steam room and shower gym, swimming pool wow . I called this my peace room it smelled so peaceful. If you forgot something home they had it there. The personnel made me feel like a Queen .on my birthday they send cups cakes to my room wow they was freshly made with a note wow . I'll be back .It's my new home

    After a very long check in process finally got into a room but the bathroom doors were jammed so couldn't use the toilet. It was tiring to change rooms after a long international flight with a bad jetlag. Woke up in the middle of the night to take a shower but the water didn't turn warm for like 10 minutes.. stood in the shower freezing. The tub, which I scrubbed myself!!, water doesn't go down fast enough so forget about changing the water. I think that this building is so old all these issues seem like the usual for guests. The elevators were being replaced though while I was there after one of them closing on me - has no sensors! The manager kept apologizing and offered me a bottle of water and a fruit plate. For a $1000/night you would think to expect a 5 star facility, which Georgetown is clearly due for a major run through their problems.

    The hotel itself is in good walking distance to the main monuments as well as the river. It was very clean and very well designed with good air conditioning. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. On the one day it rained, we were immediately offered umbrellas and when I came back after a particularly long walk on a hot day, I was offered a bottle of water as I passed the concierge! These are very thoughtful, delightful people who made our stay exceptional.

    The rooms are excellent. The overall conditions are top flight. Breakfast room needs to be warmed up with a redecoration. It looks a bit like an afterthought. Service and the food was v good. Finally the public areas need more seating to allow for afternoon browsing.

    All staff members from those at the enterance who greeted us, to the concierge, to the servers in the restaurant and the patio bar, were so welcoming and kind and attentive to us from the start to the finish of our stay. I could not have asked for a kinder and professional group of people. Our room was kept spotless by the wonderful housekeepers who meticulously created a clean and comfortable room. Special thank you to Mohammed who attentively served us in the hotel restaurant and was so professional and polite. He truly loves his place of work and taking care of his guests!! Mary Chris was also so sweet and professional as our server. The food is beyond delicious! I don't think there could be anything you ordered that wasn't spectacular! Thank you all so very much. I can't wait to go back!

    Long weekend to attend a wedding and this was a great 'home base'. Hotel is right in the heart of Georgetown and just minutes from national monuments. Hotel has a clean contemporary design and the staff were wonderful. What else can I stay, it would be the first place I would think of for a 5 star hotel in DC.

    We rented a superior suite and were very disappointed at the fact that it was very dark and had absolutely no views (brick wall facing) literally, we tried to change but were told that most if not all their rooms have no views. the food was very mediocre and it is a very business like, conference like type of hotel, no charm what so ever! the service is excellent but unfortunately it doesn't make up for the rest.

    I took my fiancé there for valentine's day, which was also our 2 year anniversary. We have made it sort of a hobby of ours to stay in beautiful / fancy / luxurious hotels. (So far only up and down the east coast, totaling probably 25+ at this point) In all of our stays I've never been more disappointed. I selected this hotel based on its name and reputation: bad decision. I selected their some valentine package to surprise my fiancé and make her feel special. For a price of $800+ for the room alone I stupidly assumed they would at least leave flowers or chocolates or ANYTHING! we got to our room and there was NOTHING!! She was nearly in tears over the fact that there was nothing special or personal in the room. I went to the front desk to check it out. I was told, "they usually bring 'it' to the room after guests check it." I don't understand that. Then I asked what was Included in that package and was told chocolate covered strawberries. They brought us a long plate with 2 chocolate covered something, a broken ball of cake and a sticker!!! Really??? For $800!!! That's only the beginning! ! Our previously set dinner check was $300 for French fries as a starter, some odd horrible rib steak, and my Lobster soup literally had maybe 1 piece of lobster the size of a nickel. I'm not even convinced it was lobster. Im not exaggerating, it was the worst food / dinner I

    Absolutely amazing. Only stayed for one night but wish I could have stayed for a week! Customer service was outstanding, never had to open a door or lift a piece of luggage the entire time. The employees went above and beyond to help us feel welcomed and comfortable and get us anything we needed. The room was huge and the breakfast was delicious!
