Extremely convenient.

Front desk staff gave incorrect information regarding rooms and views. If you looking for a hotel with a view DO NOT GO HERE. The location of this hotel is horrible. And when we spoke to the manager he told us we could leave if we didn't like the room . Very disappointed with this hotel rooms and view of a brick wall and an apartment building next door. Other than that this is a nice cleans hotel and the rest of the staff was helpful and nice.

One of the drawback is the property is hedged around a turnaround and finding the exact narrow lane may be a learning experience. Other than that parking is thru a valet only and obviously incurs charges but the car is brought up quickly.

Breakfast was good bit missed it most of the days because it ended early. We usually have breakfast between 9:30 and 10am but it was closed by then.

I love it here! The room was spacious enough and was so glad to see like a timeshare set up complete with refrigerator, microwave , dishwasher , a mini dining table, a gas stove and a convertible sofa bed. Clean room and of course we had comfortable sleep at night. The added breakfast is icing on top. I highly recommend this hotel when you are the nation’s capital!!!!!

For a hotel group like Hilton have a enormous opportunity to support sustainability and do their bit for the environment by switching to glass plates and steel utensils. This will help reduce all the disposable plates and cutlery going to landfill and contribute towards their sustainability goals.

Everything was fine, but we had requested a higher floor; they didn't turn us down immediately, yet the view from the window consisted solely of the windows of the building across the street—absolutely no scenery. Furthermore, the air conditioner blew in a fixed direction, forcing us to move our child to a different bed while we slept to the sound of the unit running, having to keep ourselves covered up against the draft.

The gentleman who helped me with check in was very friendly and polite. The lady who checked me out not so much. The room was alright. The two plugs in the bathroom didn’t work. There are only plugs on one side of the bed and no wall outlets in the bedroom. The toilet runs constantly which is annoying and the a/c fan is loud as well. My room was alright just didn’t like that I was put back in a corner. Also, I left for a bit and when I came back then there was bowel movement or something on the toliet. It wasn’t there when I left which is very weird. Don’t know if I would stay here again and this hotel was actually chosen my someone else who said it was in a prime location. They had a wide variety of breakfast items.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Homewood Suites. The room was well appointed, we had a separate seating area, plenty of space, a full fridge, clean and well kept. Having breakfast available was very helpful as we were there for work. It was a typical hotel breakfast but the area was kept clean and the person working the breakfast on top of everything. This hotel is conveniently located near a lot of nice restaurants and in a safe area.

The breakfast was a poor choice. The valet parking is expensive compared to the parking garages around.

Nice hotel, a little older. I liked that it has 2 rooms so you have pull out bed and bed in the bedroom. We couldn’t find extra blanket and the ac in room is pretty loud. They charge for ESP fee if you bring your pet. I liked that you could leave your car parked until 3pm even though we checked out around 10

Breakfast was very tasty. The location is perfect and safe. Beds were comfortable. The room was not very clean. The surfaces were full of dust. There were no slippers which was uncomfortable. The room was not cleaned every day.

Something should be changed about the chaos at breakfast. So many people. Need larger area.

Parking is expensive at the hotel but there are garages that are cheaper but they are not open 24 hours. We used a lot was closed 11pm-7am and used uber and Lyft all stay or walked.

1. we had to change rooms. The first room needs up grading. The staff was accommodating. Breakfast needs more than one person overlooking the amount of guests and making sure breakfast is restock such as coffee. I did not use the laundry.

Was able to get in our room early after traveling all early morning. However when we got to our room the heat/ac was not working. Waited over 2 hours after letting them.know. no one came. We ended up being moved to a different room. Paid for a city view room and our view was off a high rise building. Staff was very friendly and nice. Breakfast was okay. The weekly Wednesday snack and sip was nice.

Had a hard time connecting to the internet.

We greeted on our arrival with cookies and water and were checked in immediately. Room exceeded our expectations and was comfortable and beautiful. Breakfast was plentiful and had wide arrangement of foods. We walked most of the time as public transport was not close by. There are a few fast food restaurants down the road from the hotel but not a lot of other choices.

The breakfast in the morning was crowded and the food was not good. Laundry only accepted coins. No smart tv to stream. Kids crying in room next door. Window overlooked a/c unit. Air vents in rooms blew directly in you while you slept causing dry throats in morning. Room was of and rundown. Refrigerator running all night was loud.

I was attending a doctoral class for a week, so the room was perfect for my needs: easy access to Metro, refrigerator, microwave, comfortable, and spacious.

Hotel is beautiful, no on site parking and unmentioned deposit even on prepaid rooms

Breakfast is served until 10 a.m., and by 8:30 there's nothing to eat. Everything is empty. People have to fight over food. Change this, and your hotel stay will be fantastic.

I was unaware of the valet parking being the only option upon making the reservation, which made checking in more stressful, as well as more expensive due to the fee to have valet park with additional taxes per day. Entering the lobby, I had high hopes for our stay. However, upon entry to our room, cleanliness wasn’t up to standards. There was dust on the ceiling, hair in the sink and bathtub, an odd stain in the corner of the bathtub trim, dishes were dirty when using them. We went to hand wash the dishes to use them, there was no soap in the room to use. Our furnace made a high pitched squealing noise all throughout the nights.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly accommodating and helped us when I requested a different room.

Room was bigger than what you get in such rate, staff were polite and professional. Breakfast had a good menu with all varieties of food food options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Walkable from national mall and all museums and attractions in DC

Until maintenance came In to troubleshoot AC unit. Waited for approximately 1 hour before we could finally be reassigned to a new room, and only after we made multiple requests. The second room was dusty, and had a strong garbage odor. Bathroom supplies were low, or empty. No shower gel, and only 1 small soap bar. We needed up purchasing soap and an al purpose cleaner on our own to freshen up the room. It is also worth mentioning the room was never cleaned during our stay.

The staff was nothing but amazing to us. They took care of us the minute we arrived. Homewood offered us the best breakfast that we have ever had! The lobby was cozy and large enough to space out. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The water didn't stop running after I flushed the toilet. I had to flush it twice.

Good sized rooms, but the pull-out couch bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. Breakfast was really good. And, Wednesday night happy hour was a nice surprise.

Easy walk to the White House. Complimentary continental breakfast. Coin operated laundry. We had a 1 bedroom unit with full kitchen and sofa bed in living room. Room 708. Spacious and in good condition for the age of the property. No opening windows but fortunately good air conditioning.

They need to pay attention on cleaning the lobby, halls. To dirty.

Hotel front desk staff rude not courteous. Hotel charge high compared to their services. Our room smelled like someone was cooking with garlic the entire stay. Faulty toilet kept running, very noisy. I was disappointed with stay considering how much money we paid. And parking $56 plus tax per day! Just ridiculous.

The room smells bad. It is on the spacious side and has a nice kitchen. However, every time I step into the room, the smell is really unpleasant. Parking is super expensive.

I got this hotel bc it said it had electric car charging- it had a regular plug in - there was no charger- staff told me to go a few blocks over for a charger. Very frustrating!

The staff during our 5 night stay were all wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Promptly addressed our requests for more supplies. We live in Texas and were visiting for sightseeing purposes, so the only part that was a bit off for us was the breakfast menu. Otherwise everything else was fantastic!

One room, 319, smelled like sewage the entire stay. When we complained, they said they couldn't move us as they were booked. They provided a air purifier for 2 days but the smell was still there. I should have complained more.

Very spacious with extra living area in the suites. Excellent breakfast selections. Location was nice with nice restaurants, CVS, Wholefoods nearby on 14th street. The only downside was small entrance portal where all cars had to be valet parked at a slow pace.

It was a clean quiet hotel and my room was the same. The staff was very nice and courteous. The surrounding area of the hotel was also clean and well kept. No worries about personal safety. Although I didn’t use it, I noticed there was a convenience store (?) nearby which was good to see in case I needed it. I appreciated that the property also served breakfast (coffee was a lifesaver!). Thank you!

It was a family vacation. We stayed in the hotel for one week. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the city. The room was always clean and they were willing to give us extra towels when asked.

Loved the location close to Metro , White House , Thomas Square , some Restaurants within walking Distance . I do not recommend driving and it costs us $462.00 to park our car at the hotel and we didn’t drive it one time !! It says pet Friendly which it is except you do not have a designated pet park and have to walk quite a ways to any grassy area. Tina was an Absolute Gem very Friendly and Knowledgeable and always willing to help. Would Definitely recommend.Breakfast was Awesome Everyday had lots too choose from .

My family and I recently stayed at a hotel that was both satisfying and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, and we all felt very relaxed there.

I loved how friendly staff was and how quickly breakfast was refilled as needed in the mornings! It was very convenient from all for all of the locations I needed to visit.

The room was very basic. The bedding and beds not very comfortable. Room service only every Other day. The body wash and shampoo empty in the shower. Breakfast was eggs waffles and gray meats. The surrounding rooms reaked of weed and food cooking in the rooms. The outside area of the hotel had many homeless as you travel out to stores and restaurants. I would not stay there again, unfortunately.

As always, Homewood Suites are consistently excellent in service. I routinely stay at them across the country and have never been disappointed in either the accommodations or the staff.

Please remember it’s a pet friendly hotel. Our room had a cat odor, strong enough to make us request a room change. There were no available room, unfortunately, so we had to stay in the smelly one. During next day, the odor became less noticeable, though. We also found a black plastic fork on the floor that raised concerns about cleaning quality. However, when hotel cleaned our room every other day during the stay, we had no more concerns about the cleanliness. So it might be a coincidence or bad luck during our check in. Other than that, the hotel is a good value for money. About 12 minutes walk from a subway station. The breakfast was pretty standard. Decent wifi

Would not recommend. Hotel is not in a good location. They charge almost 60 a day to park to your car, we waited one day over 40 minutes for the car. When you’re showering, little black things come up from the drain. Absolutely disgusting and dissatisfied for the price.

I love our room because it’s clean, it has 2 TVs, king-size bed and sofa bed that fit my party of 3. The receptionist Brianna is accommodating and pleasant. The staff are nice too. Breakfast is good. The location is also excellent because it’s in downtown Washington D.C. so it’s easy to get to the must-see places in the area.

Great customer service and clean property. They provide full kitchen in the room (including electric stove, microwave, and fridge), and also cutlery. A perfect comfortable place for family stay!

I liked the adjoining rooms. Did not like the location of the rooms which were right next to the elevator, which was not easy to block out. Our last morning there we had an early flight and the whole hotel water was out!! Not good!

Decent hotel. Valet parking only. Parking in the city is always tough! Gotta pay attn to directions or you’ll miss hotel entrance (if driving).

I think the place was way over priced for what we received. First off, the parking was $66 a day. The room was comfortable but we were very upset with the cleaning services. On Sunday we were out all day sightseeing, walking and very tired. We get to the room at about 3-4p and they JUST started servicing our room. So we had to wait in the lobby. Exhausted! We also noticed that the faucet in our room was coming out cloudy. I don't think I would stay there again.

Convenient no-frills hotel. My room had a bit of a strange layout - sink was in the bedroom and not the bathroom. There was a $100 refundable holding fee that was return upon checkout. I didn’t like that a lot of non-residents were standing outside the front of the hotel at night.

Enjoyed my stay at Homewood. I especially had a great sleep in the beds. It was quiet although right in the heart of DC. Highly recommend!

The hotel was fine, pretty average. Continental breakfast was pretty good actually. Staff at front desk was friendly but not a ton of amenities and rooms need some upgrades. The water in the bathroom sink came out milky and it smelled like weed everywhere. Room ac also musty. Again, it was fine. We enjoyed our stay but nothing super memorable.

We enjoyed our stay here with our 3 older children and have zero complaints. The property was close, convenient and a lot was within walking distance. It was nice having the valet and the service was quick. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was filling and we had no issues. We were even surprised with the complimentary wine and snacks on Wednesday as that was a relaxing treat after being out most of the day. We loved the city and will definitely be back.
