    Two things I never thought to ask about was if there was construction nearby or if prom was being held at the hotel during our stay. Both occurred during our 3 night stay, and interrupted our sleep late at night-early morning. Other than that, I would stay there again. Thank you!

    Terrible I didn’t even stay I’d chose to take the loss and drive 2 hours home. 75$ for parking is an absolute joke when your paying 235 for one night. Terrible location no parking.

    The staff members were all so friendly. The location is incredibly convenient. My room was beautiful and comfortable. I just wish they had room service and/or better in-hotel dining options. That was really the only drawback. Beautiful hotel.

    I don't understand all the reviews that call this a "luxury hotel". THIS IS NOT A LUXURY HOTEL! A luxury hotel has top sheets on their beds. A luxury hotel has a refrigerator in the room already, not one you have to pay extra for. A luxury hotel has slippers and bathrobes in the room already. A luxury hotel has decent food in the lobby restaurant. This place is a rip-off start to finish. We stayed here because about 25 years ago we stayed at Le Meridian in DC and it was wonderful. This fraud using the name now is an embarrassment compared to the former Le Meridian.

Booked the junior suite and got a standard room which didn’t match the booking.com pictures and descriptions. We were told that the room we got it’s marked in the system as junior suite. We had to ask 4 times to get a baby crib in the room which was pre-requested in the reservation as well.

    It’s loud. The walls between rooms are thin, the windows are only single-glazed and the room doors offer no soundproofing. So there was a lot of noise.

    The check-in was superb - Samira was profess, very helpful and so welcoming! The lobby was decorated for Cherry Blossom festival and it was a warm, fun vibe! The Assistant Director ( can’t remember her name) made a point of welcoming us and was delightful to talk to. Likewise the chef who came out to ask us about our meals. The staff is incredibly helpful and it felt like a family atmosphere!

    We went out shopping for the day to come to a hot room. The AC was broken. Maintenance promptly responded. However, the room became very hot, and we were moved. I understand things happening. However, it did alter our timeline with our plans. So we were a tad inconvenienced.

    First, the balcony view on main picture is not of the hotel. The hotel is a squat, unassuming building that looks out at an office building across the street. Second, rather than increase the cost of the room they tack on a $36/night "destination fee. the only possible reason is to hide the actual per night charge.

    There was no refrigerator in the room, no coffee pot in the room. The bathroom floor had a months could tripped on. The floor coming in the door changing to the carpet was a trip hazard. The check in staff was good. The wait staff in the restaurant could’ve been better as we always had to ask for refills and they wouldn’t let us sit where we wanted even though there were few patrons. The room could have had a second chair since two people were staying. The nightstand in our room was a danger and had to be backed up from the bed so as not to knock into it in the dark at night. We paid a good fee and should have had better amenities.

    Check in process was straight to the point. Valet is so overpriced so we parked in the lot next door. Room was standard and clean. The only thing that threw me off was how I could hear everything from outside. It was weird. I was on the 7th floor and could legit hear conversations of people walking past and car beeping. I don’t know what that was about. But other than that, it was fine. Nothing spectacular but nothing horrible as well. Affordable.

    Watch out for the fees! I was charged an additional $30 per day "Desination Fee" whatever that means. It was supposed to get me $15 of food from their shop. Then they charged me for the food separately! And tacked on a gratuity I had explicitly rejected. Now I am faced with charging all that back. Really terrible operation, will never stay at one again.

    The room was comfortable and well-designed. Others commented that a coffee maker was not standard, but I requested one on check-in, and it was there five minutes after I arrived in my room. The view was poor, but I got a good price on the room, so I wasn't too concerned. Breakfast a la carte was a good deal, but the breakfast sandwiches were re-heated and not particularly tasty. A bagel was a little better but still bland. The free coffee was excellent. I did not buy the breakfast buffet, which was too expensive and not particularly exciting. Snacks were well priced. I had one beer at the bar, and the price was quite fair. I found the gym to be more than adequate. The entire structure was clean and well-maintained. Room service was outstanding. The cleaner assigned to my floor introduced herself, was polite, and offered to help in any way possible. Once I asked her to make up my room while I was at the gym, and she did as I asked. As a solo business traveler, the main need was a change of towels, and that was nice to have done in the short time I was away. The location is excellent. The hotel is halfway between the Washington Convention Center and Dupont Circle. Walking along the Massachusetts Ave. corridor is easy. The area gets good street traffic.

    Overall Le Meridian delivered on what you should feel as first time visitor in Washington DC. The hotel was right smack in the center of the Washington universe.Location was superb and the surrounding felt safe.     Clean and basic, beds comfortable but walls are thin so you can hear neighbors easily. No amenities in the room like a coffee maker- even a Comfort inn has those. Nice convenient area. The 30$ a day charge is really annoying - they charge you for things you probably don’t want- tour tickets and bikes- but then offer a 15$ daily “refund” on hotel food or drinks- so you have to spend 15$ on overpriced yogurts and muffins or the breakfast buffet. Stop charging people for things they don’t want- that is more annoying than just increasing the price!

    I enjoyed by stay at Le Meridien very, very much. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of great choices. Your front desk staff was terrific. Terrance was exceptional. From check in to my last day, he was always cheerful, pleasant, professional, and resourceful. I only wish the rooms had microwaves and mini fridges. It would also be nice if there was ice available on more floors. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful. I would definitely return to Le Meridien in the future and recommend it to others!

    The staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in was smooth, and they even offered great recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions. I travel often for work, and it’s rare to find a hotel team that genuinely seems to care about your experience.

    Access to the club with unlimited, water, fruit snacks and milk was incredibly helpful with a toddler in tow. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and it was much appreciated.

    Short version. I booked a club king room, hoping to enjoy the club benefits. I placed the door placard facing “at your service” when we left the room, presumably meaning for housekeeping to service the room. I then went to the desk to ask about the club feature and coffee. The front desk people were also extremely friendly and nice, and were very surprised that I hadn’t been advised of where everything was located when I checked in. Returned 1030pm, to find the club closed. To our surprise, the room hadn’t been serviced. I called the front desk, informed them of what occurred, and requested some new towels, which were promptly provided. The next morning, we got up, enjoyed breakfast in the club (very professional staff), and left our room, this time leaving NO placard on the door at all. We returned at 8:30 pm, again finding the club closed and room NOT SERVICED. Went to the front desk again, and reported the lack of service. While the front desk was very professional and nice, there was deflecting as to WHY room wasn’t serviced. Requested towels again - promptly delivered. I then went to the shopette, asked the girl a question (disinterested and short), then the bar, bartender lady was also very short, but sweet when given a $5 tip. In the AM front desk offered a 1pm CO and 10,000 pts. Was told that “someone” reported that our room had “privacy”on the door for our entire stay. Unacceptable-completely untrue. No placard on door 2nd day. Was offered 20,000 pts- not recd yet

    The hotel is very inviting and well appointed. The staff is always available and extremely friendly. The rooms are terrific and comfortable with plenty of room. A couple of blocks in either direction get you to most of the Metro lines, and there's plenty within walking distance (the Smithsonian, Dupont Circle, plenty of eateries).

    Very friendly and helpful staff!! Such a warm welcome when we arrived and came down for breakfast!! The valet was a little expensive but nice and easy to be able to just unload and not worry about parking. We have a 3 year old and enjoyed our experience.

    Overal nice hotel. I was upset at the price of parking 71 dollars a night . Also the hotel bar and restaurant refused to accept cash for payment even thou law prohibits this. Also rooms do not have mini fridges and front desk stated its “ old school”. They did deliver one to room after I asked.
