Rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful, continental breakfast was nice with both hot and cold options. Parking lot is small. It filled up at night but there is additional parking in the lots right next to the hotel.

Octavia at the front desk was very personable and professional. She made us feel welcomed and valued. She even provided a stepping stool for my 4’11” mom since the beds do set up high from the floor. Breakfast staff were always friendly and served tasty hot food along with fresh fruits and bakery items. The coffee was good too; made from fresh coffee beans. Pleasant stay all around. We would book again in the future.

There were some concerning smudges around the restroom but overall it was clean. The room was clean and I felt comfortable walking around with no socks on. Everything was well stocked and ready to go in the room. The breakfast was nice with the hot items being hot and cold items being cold and lots of selection. The swimming pool was clean though we did not use it. The staff was friendly and available. I would give it five stars if not for the smudges and stains in the bathroom. We were four people but they only had three big towels available for us. I just used a hand towel for myself. My wife really liked the coffee. It was pleasant and charming. There was plenty of parking and we even got to park with no one next to us. Overall, it was a nice hotel, I would recommend staying there, and I would stay there again.

Breakfast wasn’t very good. Mediocre food at best, and not warm. A guest mentioned that the potatoes appeared seemed moldy, and the manager became very defensive and argumentative. We also thought there was something off about the potatoes.

Everything was great but little disappointed that we booked a room with a king bed but had to take a room with two queen beds. Was told it was the last room they had available.

The window in the room had a nice size hole (I took pictures) which whistled in the wind all night long. Terrible Will not book there ever again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast good. The biggest problem was that the shower took 20 minutes to heat up. I’m not exaggerating. No fun trying to get out the door and have to take a cold shower. We were there 3 nights. We informed them second day. They offered to fix it , but we aren’t comfortable someone in our room and had to leave to see grandchildren. It was too late getting back that night and to change rooms for one more night wasn’t worth it. We just knew when to turn on the shower.

mrs gladys and mrs Z were awesome. the hotel is loud. you can hear the people above you and the people outside the room at 6am. we were here a year ago and it was much better. we had other issues but they were resolved during the stay

The first night of our stay we were given a room with a broken shower head and no hot water. We were told that there were no other rooms available but they would put a work requestin for the next morning. The next morning we checked on the request to find there were other rooms avaliable. Portia was so helpful in getting us a other room that had hot water. She made our stay great.

The room was perfect! The beds were amazing! The staff was outstanding!! Miss Lizzie checked me in and we laughed and had a great time!! So pleasant! A beautiful soul...The breakfast offerings were perfect; try the pancake maker for sure!!! This hotel is still under renovation but you would never know it. Quiet, clean and a perfect stay!! Right across the street from the Ice Arena which means I'll be backkkkkkkkkkkk!! With pleasure. Thank you for an excellent stay!!!

One concern is that the bathroom doesn’t have an exhaust, so it gets really humid when you are showering.

The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. The only issue we kept running into was the key cards would stop working if they came into contact with with another type of credit card. We had to recode them 3 times. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good too.

The room smells like bleach and the floor was sticky. The coffee makers were not working Sunday morning. The Front Desk team is very nice but they wore clothes like they were at home!

I don't think the room was fully cleaned from the previous visitor and had to move to a different room. The second room was fine. The breakfast wasn't that good and the bagels and eggs were still hard/stiff from being previously frozen.

Hotel is under renovation so entrance and hallway are uninviting, filthy carpet in hallway, but I guess this will all be remedied soon, Rooms were however clean. Bed is way too high from the floor, difficult for even an adult to get up and on and would be worse for a child or the elderly. Still comfortable though. Breakfast is monotonous especially if staying more than a day. Workers use unhygienic practices to replenish food in hot food pans. Using gloves to open the chafers where everyone touches and using same gloves hand to touch the food to replenish. Need for tongs or change out pans. Overall, conveniently located to shopping and highways.

The hotel was nice and was in the perfect location between multiple shopping centers. The staff was welcoming and personable, which definitely helped the rating. Breakfast was like any other typical breakfast you find at a hotel. The entire room was clean and did not have any unpleasant smells. For being on the first floor near the entrance it was really quiet and peaceful. If you like high pressure showers, they have them. The part that made my stay less enjoyable was the beds. The beds were super hard and felt like I was lying on a table. If that works for you, then you’ll have a great stay. Due to the bed being hard I didn’t get much sleep and didn’t wake up refreshed like I have at other hotels.

I would prefer a no pets policy. Allergies here, and pets should be kept at pet facilities. This location was remodeling, so there was some nasty hallways and elevators, but the room was good. The breakfast area was kept beautifully well.

The property was “under construction” but we didn’t see a single person working in construction in the 5 day we were there. Trashcans near elevators were disgusting covered in food and overflowing. Food and paper on floors in front of our room for 5 days- guess they don’t have housekeeping?There was one lovely staff member that was so sweet and bright and cheerful but the rest clearly hate what they do. Poorly managed and not what I expected from a holiday inn.

The staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was great with a nice variety of things. Lobby was nice and clean. Once we got off the elevator towards the room it smelled kind of musky. Bed was comfortable and i appreciated that there were no carpet in the room. However, our bed cover had faint stains and our pillows had no covers. We only rented for one night because we were attending a family function. Since we arrived late to the room and we were exhausted, we didn’t realize the stains and missing pillow cases until we woke up this morning. It wasn’t the worst experience, but it was the best.

My stay at this Hotel was an amazing experience for me and my family. First time in the Tampa area. Chose this hotel because of the great location near many stores and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and Helpful. We decided to stay an extra night and it was the best thing we could’ve done. We loved the breakfast in the morning. Rooms were super clean and spacious. I would definitely choose this place again. A+

Gladis was very nice to us. Even though keeping up with the breakfast crowd kept her very busy. She offered to fill my grandson’s Hockey water bottle with ice and gave us bottled water each morning. It is those extra efforts that made our stay more enjoyable.

It was very quiet and the surroundings around the Hotel were good. It was close to all the restaurants. The rooms were very good and well maintained. The staff and the service were excellent.

My husband checked in and paid for the room and after we paid they advised us they did not accept pets, not even emotional service dogs. We then asked for a refund to find another hotel and refused. Left with no refund and completely in shock. If you have a emotional support dog NEVER NEVER EVER stay at that facility!!!

The room was good. However, several employees were incompetent. The breakfast lady did nothing but complain and felt was no food for them she had to tell several guests there food for and that the people before them ate too much. The second employee, a reception clerk, literally had her car parked at the drive-up awning all day instead of letting guests pull up to check in. The third employee had to be woken up when we were checking out early morning.

Only thing inconvenient was - we were hoping a 2-3 hrs late check out due to a recent surgery of one our family members but they could accommodate only 1 hour late checkout. We ended up waking up the patient and walked him straight to car and left.

Staff friendly and helpful. I was able to get a room at last minute because another location cancelled. Thank goodness because the other location was not great. Enjoyed our stay.

The pool area is nice, but two things of concern. The pool isn't heated so it can seem a bit cold even on hot days and there is NO shade to be found anywhere by the pool after 12:30 pm or so. It was sunny our whole stay so you couldn't lay out long before feeling like you were roasting to death. Overall we had a good stay, but there are a few thing to watch out for.

Overall a great stay. The check in and check out process was simple and the front desk ladies were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Only feedback was that one elevator was broken- they need to fix that and that they didn't have pool towels and there were huge dumpsters right outside the pool gate I would think should be moved to a more discrete area. Otherwise, great stay.

If I had to nitpick anything, it would be that I prefer Blackout curtains when I sleep. The curtains in our room were light defused and not dark enough for me.

We'd stay here again. Friendly staff, clean & comfortable. Only negative was the air conditioner in the room - noisy & challenge to adjust.

The room was extremely worn. There were 2 large red stains on Carpe like red Gatorade. Toilet had low pressure and had to be flushed numerous time to get poo down and then it stopped filling at one point and I had to remove the back of the tank and juggle parts for it to start filling. The only thing that kept me there was that the sheets were clean and the front desk people were extremely friendly.

The only complaint I had was the air conditioning unit was very loud throughout the night and we didn’t get much sleep.

I booked a room with 2 queen beds I got a king handicap room with a very old horrible bathroom when showering water went all over floor They had no rooms to switch as they were overbooked

My wife and I stayed at this location a couple of years ago. The hotel has really fallen off. They currently have construction going on, so it's mostly noisy. We had someone next to us smoking marijuana, so everytime we passed by the room we could smell it, plus i had my 4 yr old granddaughter with us. I think there are a lot of guest there who were impacted by the recent storms. We won't visit this location anymore.
