The noise was equally frustrating. I barely slept during my stay due to the constant sounds throughout the hotel. Starting around 4:00–5:00 a.m. every morning, it sounded like chairs and furniture were being dragged across the floor directly above my room. What made this even more surprising was that the area above was the lobby, meaning hotel staff were creating significant noise long before most guests would be awake. The lack of consideration for guests trying to sleep was beyond frustrating. Between the persistent odors and the early-morning noise, I would not stay here again.

Spacious and clean room. Great safe location in West Hollywood. Room service never seemed to work for me. My room was on same floor as hotel lobby and I didn’t like that this was just open for anyone to walk through to the rooms. Some noise but nothing earplugs couldn’t fix and the band was done by 11pm.

The hotel is located in a nice lively area in West Hollywood. You can find nice restaurants and bars in short driving distance. The room itself was spacious enough for two people and the price for the accommodation only was fine for the number of days we stayed. The staff was polite and helpful. We found the additional charge of 70$ per day for valet parking service very expensive. When it comes to cleaning, it's hotel policy to request it upfront in the reception - I would expect the service itself is standard day to day thing. Also with the price we paid it would be nice to have breakfast included, which was not the case.

Everyone is so good at what they do. You can tell that everyone loves their job. The staff is polite and helpful. Jerry, the bartender is super fun to talk to when you’re at the bar.

They put us on the 3rd floor right next to the lobby, and baggage carts. The first room on the left, with a pool view. The music was so loud till 10pm maybe, which was whatever but then the baggage carts being slammed into the wall all morning starting around 625am left a lot to be desired. Not sure I’d recommend staying here. Cool location though.

It's in the middle (kind the east end) of The Sunset Strip, The Whisky, Viper Room Rainbow Room (many may be out of business as is much of the city. Not large rooms but a room with 1 King is very pleasant and comfortable compared to the total lack of similarly priced hotels in the area. The Hotel Room Tax (for all hotels is so high, it can make the total price significantly higher. That's goes for all hotels, just seems kinda a lot.

It's be once again redone (I'm 59 in LA whole life. Be aware it is Ziggy Marley theme, some music by the pool. Staff was outstanding compared to virtually all other experience in the Vicinity

Check in is for 3:00pm. Our room wasn’t ready and wasn’t given a time when it would be ready. Not happy about that because they are strict on when you leave but can’t have the room ready for check in.

The Hot water is never hot. No guide working on the TV. Stayed in swim up room, very good, bed and sheets are nice but the hallways stink like a wet dog!

The location was great. The hotel was clean & lively. There was something happening every night. The valet, Leo, was amazing!! My only issue was in my booking with Hotels.com, it did not mention valet parking charge per night. It said I would owe at property and explained those fees but did not include valet. It was an additional $70 per night for valet. And you have no choice but to use valet because there are no overnight parking near the hotel.

The hotel was excellent. We didn't spend much time there aside from sleeping, but the spaces were wonderful, the room was very nice and well-appointed. There is a large tv, mini-fridge, and large, clean shower. We didn't use the pool but it was clean and it looked wonderful. The location was fantastic! There is live music there most nights, free for hotel guests. We would definitely stay here again!

We found a condom wrapper in the couch. The air conditioner was extremely loud when it is on. And the bed is droopy and run down. The experience was unpleasant.

Hotel Ziggy is a great location for a visit to LA with close proximity to great restaurants, comedy clubs and restaurants. Room was clean and ready early upon arrival. Was able to utilize the lobby with complimentary coffee, enjoy the pizza & free margaritas, and the fitness center. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Fitness center has plenty of equipment to get the job done. Was also able to enjoy some of the live music near the end of our stay. Was not aware of the local fees and extra charges prior to my visit, but desk clerk explained it clearly during check in. Would visit again.

Great place to stay. There was live music in the evening, bar was open and had a great vibe. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The courtyard and pool area was great. We didn't use the pool due to cool temperatures during our visit. Would highly recommend!

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Ziggy. Front desk agent was very nice at check in, and let us check in early. Complimentary margaritas were delicious. Saltwater pool was excellent for an evening swim. Our studio suite was spacious and well appointed. Pizza at Pizza Girl was delicious.

The valet was the best part of the hotel service. The check in was ok after having to wait 15 min for the manager to make sure the room was ready and then another 10 min for them to give us the keys. The photos are a little deceiving

Front desk staff unfriendly and dismissive, place loud, heard every step from upstairs room, room tiny unlike photos, kinda ugly too. And way too cool, wannabe, they are even too cool to have toilet paper holders, I had to leave the roll on the floor, never seen that before. Parking $65 and no other alternative. The front desk guy was extremely rude when I asked a simple question about the floor. I expected the extra charges so that was whatever. Property its self was definitely older with a rock & roll bandaid on it.

Terrible. The staff was fine, amenities, room, whatnot. But they foolishly charged me 400+ on mistake and have yet to remedy the issue. My vacation has been ruined.

It was incredibly upsetting the hidden fess. We were quoted $365 for a room and were charged over $600. This place does exploit musicians by marketing as a musician haven and then price gauging. We should have canceled and gone somewhere else.

Room was cozy & clean, bar was best for drinks only, ambiance is music based, so it’s festive & fun. The surrounding area is best part, easy to walk to many lovely restaurants & shops nearby. You’re right on sunset blvd, so sitting outside is fun, watching night traffic! Staff was friendly.

There is a $150/night hold piut on your card at Check in that was not disclosed at time of purchasing. There is also a special tax that is specific to California that is also not mentioned. It would have been nice to have known this ahead of time. Also the shower runs out on the bathroom floor and causes the floor to be saturated. And the pool closes at 11pm even tho there is not a lifeguard there ever so what’s the difference.. it it was clean and staff was exceptional.

Our stay was awesome! This is such a vibrant and lively hotel. Every staff interaction I had was amazing. Everyone was so nice and wonderful from the staff working the front desk to the bartender who would make us our daily margs. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Sure, it’s a little loud when the DJ is playing but that’s why we stayed here, we wanted to be where the action was and we felt like we made the right decision. The pool was also so much fun! Overall great stay!

The staff at the Ziggy were top notch. The hotel had a great vibe and was clean. The only thing I didn’t love was the massive deposit we had to put down. I must have missed that during the booking process but the hotel itself and staff was fantastic.

This was the 4th or 5th time we've stayed here and each time we have a problem with how slow the shower drains. Since we were only here for 1 night we didn't inform the front desk. Not sure how housekeeping doesn't figure this out when they're cleaning the showers.

I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback regarding my recent stay, in hopes it will help improve the experience for future guests. 1 Cleanliness Concern: I noticed a large stain on the mirror next to the bed, which appeared to be biological in nature. I took a photo for documentation. I attempted to inform the front desk staff as I was leaving for an event, but they were assisting others at the time. I did notify an admin staff member upon my return. 2 TV Remote Issue: The volume button on the TV remote did not function properly. While a staff member came by to assist for 20 mins, the issue wasn’t resolved, as the remote itself simply needed replacement or reset which I learned to do on ChatGPT after the tech man left. Please note the booger was spotted after he left 😓 3 Bathroom Amenities: The pump dispensers for both the soap and the lotion were not working. Additionally, the lotion had an unusual texture that seemed off. (I went to Gelman’s and purchased soap & lotion) 4 Nespresso Machine Miscommunication: The hotel website mentions that Nespresso machines are available upon request; however, I was in

I cannot express enough just how amazing the staff continue to be when I stay here. This was my fourth time and it keeps getting better and better! They also have a ton of fun activities throughout my stay! Yoga by the pool, how about a pool dance party. Killer music in the evening, they have you covered.

Cute little boutique hotel right in the middle of the busy part of Sunset blvd. Parking is $65 a day. But if you walk a block down to the AKA parking lot, you can park for $18.99 a day instead. Allen at the Front Desk is FABULOUS, and was so amazingly accommodating!

It’s a cute place. Didn’t know rooms were underground. My friend is claustrophobic and almost had a panic attack. The hotel itself is reasonably priced but all the fees added another 150.00 so we paid 450.00 for a 248.00 room. Probably won’t stay there again. Rooms small and the hallways smelled like sewage.. But a really cute place.

A great spot if you’re looking to be in WeHo at a competitive price for everything you get. The in house pizza is a great solution for quick bites.

The staff were very kind and personable. The bar has amazing food options and drink options. Everyday there is a free margarita hour. The pool is a great place to relax and swim in the salt water pool. Every night had live music in the lobby. The location is in a perfect safe location on the Sunset Strip.

This property is tired. The linens smelled so strongly of cleaning product it was hard to sleep. the sheets were thin and tired. the room is cold and basic

Really cool rock themed decor and right on Sunset Boulevard. But when Expedia says the taxes and fees are included, they’re leaving out an annoying $60+ amenities fee. The hotel is expensive enough that the added fee made it not worth it for me.

I took the attached photo at night, illuminated by the pool lights. I noticed many comments about loud music.I was on the second floor, just below the lobby on the third floor. Most nights were fine, but one night the noise from either an event or neighbors above me was too loud for me to sleep. In summary, if you're looking for a relaxing hotel, this might not be your best option. It seems more suited for those who enjoy music and parties rather than tourists seeking a peaceful stay. On the positive side, the room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was excellent.

It’s the perfect location! It’s easy to walk to great shopping and dining options, amazing and friendly staff and great drinks and food. There are steady nighttime events scheduled- live music and DJs. The vibe was relaxed, chill, not stuffy which I prefer.

When arrived at the property we were told that parking is $65 usd each day and you have to tip the valet on top. Then when I was checking out they told me they are charging me $55 per day as service fee and they never told me that in the beginning neither online when booking. Lots of hidden fees beware. Also did not acknowledge that I was VIP Expedia member

Hotel Ziggy is an ex-motel in a sea of high end options on the Sunset Strip. Valet is overpriced and understaffed, leading to long waits and confusion. Rooms don’t appear to have been refurbished, with a chest drawers falling apart in my room. Despite a well advertised non-smoking policy the whole building smells constantly of weed. The music adds a certain thrill, but also renders much of the communal space unusable.

It was unique with the music theme. An area close to things. The valet service was nice, but way expensive.

Hotel was nice but more for a younger clientele. Bed was confortable, eveything was very clean. What I did not like is that you need to ask 24 hrs in advance that somebody make your bed and or change your sheets. But, for everything else it was a nice staying.

Was pretty quiet as no pool parties occuring. There was a Pizza Girl launch party happening in the foyer with free pizza for the new Ziggy menu. Everyone was so lovely. Always enjoy my stay at Ziggy. The neighborhood has a lot to do - I went to the The Comedy Store across the street. The hotel has a Hard Rock vibe to it. The pool is nice. The bar is welcoming and fun.

I was excited to stay at the Hotel Ziggy for its online vibe. I stayed on the second floor unknowingly the lobby was above me making for constant foot traffic above my bed all night long. They have guests go down to the lobby for coffee making it an inconvenience for morning drinkers. I had a female hygiene issue occur unexpectedly and while I was down there getting coffee, I walked to the bar area where staff members were sitting around not working. Bad look! I waited for the female bar attendant to finish her conversation with another woman sitting at the bar to ask her a delicate question. She said, “can you wait for me to finish what I am doing?” and walked away to grab a tablet and returned to talking to the woman at the bar. The woman at the bar smiled and I walked away to ask the man at the front desk with other men standing around because its where the coffee is located. I was humiliated and was told there wasn’t a manager to speak to about how I was treated. I sent a message to the business Instagram and heard nothing back. I look at my bill and I was overcharged for the mini bar items I bought, and it was an overall unpleasant experience and won’t be staying there again. As a frequent solo traveler to LA there are lots of other places that staff are expected to treat guests with respect and dignity.

To start with the positives, the staff was generally very friendly and accommodating. However, the lady in the breakfast area displayed double standards in her behavior, which was off-putting. The room itself was far from satisfactory. Located on the first floor, it was slightly humid, had some ants (though not too many), and lacked any sort of view from the window. Privacy was compromised due to the thin walls, as we could hear noise from the neighboring rooms and upstairs. The worst part was the unbearable noise from the ceiling whenever the people upstairs walked around – it sounded like bombs going off. Breakfast was minimal, and inconsistencies made it worse. For example, cheese was available on the first day but not on subsequent days, which felt like a basic oversight. Additionally, Hotels.com mentioned that the resort fee ($40 per night) included coffee in the room, but coffee was only available during breakfast hours in the lobby. This felt misleading and added to the frustration. Lastly, the valet parking was outrageously priced at $65 per night. While the valet staff was courteous and efficient, the cost felt unjustifiable. Overall, this hotel did not meet expectations, and we wouldn’t recommend it unless improvements are made to justify the high prices.

Noisy. Music by the pool at 7:30 AM, some sort of super loud construction across the hall at 8:00. Restaurant was closed the entire time.

The hotel was very average compared to others in the same location. I decided to try this hotel because they had a bigger studio room for an extended stay, however the premium room was right on the strip and whoever stays there will be subject to traffic noise all day long which is not acceptable. We had to downgrade to a lesser room to avoid the noise while continuing to pay for the studio. The alternate room was much smaller, the AC was not working properly, it had a tiny bathroom and no coffee maker. Other than that the hotel lacks basic amenities like a microwave and a coffee maker on regular rooms. The staff was very nice and hard working but the property was a big let down. Anything else in the area with the same price point will be a better option.

Love this place-stay every few weeks and it just keeps getting better. The margarita hour is a great deal and the added continental breakfast is nice. Customer service is always great -Armando at the front desk was absolutely amazing-great service and took care of all our needs.

I was given the room directly behind the stage that they have live music / entertainment on, but was assured that everything stops at midnight at the latest on weekends and ‘it’s quiet’. Friday at nearly 2am I had to ask when the music would stop as it was impossible to even hear the TV in either of the rooms we had. At 4am I had to ask for the 4th time if someone from security could and stop the guests that had been running up and down the hallway screaming, shouting, slamming doors and generally partying in the hallway outside our rooms and stopping us from being about to sleep, they did nothing. Saturday was the same. This property is outrageous, you’re paying for a BEDROOM to SLEEP in, I’m BUYING SLEEP, PROVIDE IT! On checkout I asked to speak to a manager - no managers work on a Sunday.. reception comped $100 worth of amenities fees as apology, on a $1,000 stay, despite the fact that I said I wanted a refund. Was told that’s it, and to have a good day. Do not stay at this property unless you are planning on sleeping through the day and being awake all night.

This is our go-to hotel for Los Angeles on Sunset Blvd. There is a very cool rock & roll theme to the space, an area for live music, pizza and they even give you a complimentary couple cocktails for happy hour. It is across the street from the world-famous Comedy Store and in close proximity to West Hollywood bars and Rodeo Drive. Very clean rooms and friendly staff.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Ziggy! The poolside room was a dream, the venue fun and friendly. It's a very well managed hotel with good food, drink, and live music options. The location is perfect for exploring Sunset and Santa Monica Boulevards.

It was so good but I was a bit bummed that our trip fell on Thanksgiving weekend so the bands and the pool vibe that attracted us to the hotel was dead. On our last night there was an amazing jazz musician playing that my 15 year old was able to experience and that was fantastic because being under-aged I couldn't take her anywhere else to experience it.

Everything was good but not that many options for breakfast

The staff were super friendly and very hospitable. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean.

Staff was super nice, pool and bar were great. Vibe was relaxed but lively. Rooms were clean.

Property was a real vibe with excellent customer service. Rooms had some minor wear and tear, but were clean and comfortable. Would stay again!

The main entrance / music area is great. However the rest of the hotel is in need of more updates. The rooms have very thin walls and the shutters facing the pool don’t really block out light. Very noisy hotel if you’re looking for a good nights’ rest

The staff is nice, & if you’re around 35 y/o it would be fun. But we’re not 35, & for us the place was not suitable. The breakfast was limited. There is no comfortable dining; the area is busy & the amenities limited.

Accommodated my request for a quieter room away from the pool. Had a little smell to the room but wasn't unbearable.

There was no housekeeping or towel changes during my stay. Very disappointed.

If you are looking for a vibrant party spot right in the heart of one of the greatest areas of California, Hotel Ziggy should be your absolute first consideration. This is my second time to WeHo, first time was two months ago. At the first hint of an opportunity to come back I did, and Hotel Ziggy made that decision as easy as breathing.

Super fun and unique hotel in the heart of West Hollywood. Margarita hour was a hit amongst our group! We would definitely stay here again!

Very beautiful & eclectic! They even had a DJ in their quaint little dance area. Reasonably priced for such an awesome unique hotel. Room was so clean & had fun creative wall art, great lighting & bathroom had cool writing/poetry along the shower door. Walls a bit thin but luckily no loud crazy guests! No way to make hot tea in room. They told us to go to the bar for hot water! Weird. Close to lots of great dining & easy to walk. Overall great experience!
