The room was ok. The beds are not a queen but just a full size bed. The front desk was nice and helpful.
- 2/5
Room smelled like pot smoke , there was a bug in the bath tub. The coffee maker looked like it was 10 years old and worn out.

First of all, the staff was very friendly and polite. The room was decent for the price. I had to open my door to air it out a little bit, because of a musty odor. That was fine, because I always have air freshener with me. There needed to be fresher towels in the bathroom, because those I had looked as though they had been used recently, washed out in the sinked and hung to dry. There was some half eaten ice cream left in the refrigerator freezer, so I know that was not cleaned out or inspected when the last guest checked out. Bring some kind of bug spray with you unless you don't mind a few bugs crawling around as you sleep. I did encounter 4 spiders crawling around, but since it was warm weather, that is to be expected. There is a nice size TV, in the room and great channels to watch when relaxing. It's close to the highway, and Casino traffic, but the noise was minimal. The beds sat on what looked liked some kind of spring board, and made a squeaky sound when getting into it, but the mattress was very comfortable. After all that being said though, I would rate this hotel as a 2 1/2 star. Good for the price of the room. I would stay again.

About what you would expect from a budget motel. A lot of freeway noise and car alarms went off frequently throughout the night.

Room was fine, staff welcoming. a lot of noise from other guests outside, above and on sides. I was awakened by a phone call from reception saying someone complained that my TV was too loud.. I was fast asleep and TV not even on. That was annoying. If you want a good nights sleep, go elsewhere.
- 4/5
The room was good check in was easy.

Great place to stay.

Receptionist very nice

I really appreciate being allowed to get into my room early. I intend to continue coming back to this motel in the future because I have family in the area.
- 5/5
I only had one problem with the TV, but they fixed that immediately. Very pleased.

Every thing was good
- 3/5
Not bad, not great. Felt like a military operation at checkout. We were 5 minutes past and basically all the maids were rushing us out and received phone calls from the front desk wanting us out. Five minutes... Good lord.
- 5/5
Nice property good staff
- 5/5
Convenient location for highway access. Easy reservation, check-in and check-out. The non-smoking double king bed room was clean and the price was great. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
Basic motel quality, no frills.
- 2/5
Bed was so uncomfortable
- 5/5
This was a budget-friendly, pet-welcoming stay that didn’t feel like a nasty dump motel. It was clean, smelled neutral, and was in mostly great repair.
- 5/5
My room was clean. The staff was really nice. The bed was comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised. Good value for my money
- 3/5
Had to step in and around toilet before you could close the door. Door couldn't close all the way. Supposed to have breakfast. It was a bag to go. Warm spicy sausage biscuit, sweet breakfast bar and powdered sugar donuts. Not what I expected. Check in and out was fast and accurate. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
The staff was great and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Even though the property is old and run down, I was pleasantly surprised with how good the room was.

A comfortable night stay for rest with our dog. Would stay again.
- 4/5
We have stayed here multiple times and will stay again, but it was not as clean as it normally is.
- 4/5
Red Roof in West Memphis was a great place to catch a good night's rest on a long trip. The property is a little run down but was very clean. We were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful staff member. If the need ever arises again, we will be repeat customers for sure!
- 3/5
These are exterior access rooms. I was given a walkup on the very end. It turned out to be a smoking room. I called and asked if there was a non smoking room and there was, but I had to carry luggage back down and go all the way back to the desk. I was tired when I checked in and did not ask, but the desk should have asked me smoking or non. The room was pretty nice/new, except for a cigarette burn on the duvet, but it did not smell like smoke at least. They charge you $50 deposit, refundable supposedly when you leave. I used a credit card for the deposit just in case I needed to dispute anything. I mentioned the refund upon checking out, and it was refunded pretty fast, whereas the night clerk said it could take 5 days. Okay choice for a cheap hotel, but I could never stay in a room that smelled as bad as that first one did. Neighborhood seems a little iffy.
- 1/5
Leaking refrigerator
- 4/5
Old but in decent shape
- 1/5
The ice had not been removed nor had it been salted in the parking lot which remained in the shade of the building. You had to park and enter and exit, load and unload luggage on solid ice! There was no soap in the dispenser by the sink , nor was there any body wash or shampoo in the shower dispensers.
- 5/5
Definitely will come back here if I'm going to Memphis again!
- 4/5
It was good
- 4/5
Close to casino buffet
- 2/5
Beds are hard as a rock and walls/floors thin so you can hear everyone walking upstairs. No big deal unless the upstairs guest check in at 2am. We ended up leaving then since we couldn’t sleep any way. Motel is really rundown.
- 2/5
Didn’t have towels and housekeepers are rude
- 5/5
Clean room and good parking. Great for a rest/sleep, with 2 service dogs, while traveling. Checkin/out super easy, as I booked the room prior to arrival. M
- 4/5
Well done service
- 5/5
I chose this place because it allows large dogs. I heard the clerk tell the person in front of me they no longer allowed large dogs. We both stated that was we came here. I’ve stayed her before. She honored our reservations, but if they no longer allow large dogs, this location will no longer be useful to me. I paid the deposit, so I don’t see what the issue is. My small dog is the one that might cause damage, and I don’t travel with him. My big dog sleeps on the floor, doesn’t chew, doesn’t have accidents, and doesn’t tap like a little dog. I hope they’ll continue to allow large dogs.
- 4/5
Easy on and off the interstate. Have stayed several times
- 5/5
👍 we like no hallway, outside door. Comfy bed
- 5/5
The people were friendly, the room was clean, and it was a comfortable room. Now if they could just do something about holdup coffee...
- 4/5
Nothing
- 3/5
Room was adequate.
- 3/5
The “gentleman “ at the front desk should probably not be in customer service. He would probably be suited as the intake person at the jail. Not friendly or accommodating. This is not the first time I have dealt with him. I realize that due to location he has to deal with some less desirable people, but he may not be the right person for the job.
- 1/5
My Team have stayed in this location multiple times, NEVER! Had an issue until today! They are now running scams in order to not return your deposit, there was a missed understanding according to Harry the Manager, with another hotel guest, when for whatever reason that guest put his/her bag-pack in my teams truck, my team did not notice until after they had checked out! the item was returned!! when ask about the deposit, the manager and the other guest started yelling and cursing my staff… and the manager give the runaround about the deposit… it’s ok keep it! We won’t be returning I rather pay more somewhere else where no scams are being done!
- 1/5
move it made a crazy noise. We had WiFi but no WiFi TV and to top that the remote didn’t work and my hubby ran to the desk to get batteries 10 minutes after we checked in and no one was around. This is a hotel you’ll only stop once at and never go back.
- 1/5
It was dirty and nasty all the bed covers were burnt they left dirty towels in the bathroom
- 1/5
It was dirty burn marks on furniture bed covers burned marks dirty towels left in bathroom and they charged 10.00 dollars for dirty towels and I paid because I wanted my deposit back and I haven’t got it back yet I want my deposit for 2 rooms 100.00 !!!!
- 1/5
Overpriced for what you get and we would never stay here again—we even cancelled our reservation for our return leg. The room was humid, and the bathroom smelled of weed. Beds were on metal stands that made noise with every movement and loud bangs when you accidently kicked or hit them. Towels are small and very scratchy. Only liquid soaps provided, no bars. The shower had good water pressure and the bathroom fan allowed for noise privacy. The fridge & microwave in the room worked, as did the ice machine in the lobby. Hotel is located across the street within walking distance of a casino, but the area is sketchy and the parking lot smelled like urine. There was fair grass space nearby for dogs potty.
- 4/5
Mostly highway workers going back and forth. All were very cordial and respectful. Housekeeping staff was professional. Front desk staff both Calvin and Lynn were awesome. The side door is a bit scary, but it's about safety for them.
- 5/5
Extra clean at a great price.
- 4/5
The only downside, which is small, was the metal frames for the beds. They made crazy noises but the room was great, cleaning ladies were a blessing, and overall a pleasant stay! Best bang for the buck while traveling with 2 dogs! You won’t find a better deal.
- 5/5
It was a good stay
- 5/5
Good location-easy access to freeway. Food options are close by- Mexican restaurant across the street & places to eat within the casino close by. Easy check in process. Comfortable bed &:pillows. Room met our needs for a one night stay on our travels.
- 5/5
Conveniently located but no breakfast.
- 4/5
Property was a great value for the price. A good amount of outside noise happened throughout the night. If you are just passing through, this is a decent place to stay.
- 3/5
It takes a while to check in, so much red tape, but the lady that checks us in is super nice, love her! I requested both times I have stayed for a lower unit, never get it but it's ok, parking lot noisy! No complaints!
- 1/5
Price on reservation was for 91.75 but some how Red Roof Manager added $50 for thatbilling. Upon checkin the manager would not give me a receipt. Upon check out early on 8/15/24 the cost was $143.75 vs 91.75. The room was noisy and we couldnt sleep so we departed at about 1 am. Under the bed ther was installed a metal thing that made noise when i moved. The upstairs occupants created disturbing noises also. I would not recommend this hotel or motel to anyone.
- 3/5
We stayed overnight at this Red Roof Inn in West Memphis.
- 4/5
It was pretty good!! Had a wonderful time!!
- 1/5
The place was in really poor condition. The guy checking us in was so rude. If I wasn't dead tired after driving 11 hrs I would have left. The room smelled of smoke. I have lots of photos in Management is interested.
- 5/5
They all was nice and it was clean
- 4/5
I was fine with everything else.
- 3/5
only stayed overnight
- 4/5
No frills, clean room. $50 deposit required though.
- 5/5
The inn was great. The booking agent was not. Double booked me and I'm having a hard time getting a refund on one of the bookings. But that has no bad reflection on red roof. Love this place. Great people
- 2/5
Found roaches in the room as we were getting ready to leave. The room had a smell, that I could not identify as well. Could hear noise coming from outside of the room, but not from other guest rooms.
- 3/5
Convenient but little shabby
- 3/5
Room looked clean, by the non-smoking room reeked of smoke and weed when we walked in.
- 5/5
I loved the cleanliness and it looked just like the add....lovely
- 1/5
Excessive noise
- 1/5
Room smelled awful and clearly had been smoked in. Drugs were left in room when brought this to front desk attention they seemed confused as to why i was bothering them. worst motel experience I've ever had. have photos to prove but site keeps removing when i share
- 2/5
There was something biting me and my husband.
- 5/5
Always our go to hotel for our team!
- 4/5
Quiet , clean , no bugs
- 5/5
Nice and clean and comfortable
- 5/5
It's in a nice safe location
- 4/5
After leaving the crap hole across the street, this property was a welcome surprise. No soap or shampoo in the room tho. All dispensers were empty.
- 5/5
All was fine. Only issue was that our room had only one handtowel for 2 guests.
- 3/5
Staff is pretty rude at the front desk but housekeeping staff are all very kind and friendly. Easy walk or drive to southland casino
- 5/5
It was a good stay
- 3/5
The stay was okay. They’re isn’t any breakfast or even coffee in the evenings. It’s kind of run down but the bed and shower was nice which is the main thing. It served our needs for the price.
- 5/5
This is a great place, clean and s5aff is great
- 4/5
.
- 1/5
Trash hotel. Don't stay. They stole my 380 dollars.
- 3/5
The man who checked me in was very nice and talkative. The room was average. It was actually higher in price than a Motel 6 I stayed in the night before in Mineral Wells TX that was a lot nicer. I probably will not be staying here again.
- 3/5
The bed was noisy. The room was clean and all amenities were available and in good working order.
- 5/5
I found 2 spiders in the room
- 4/5
Shower bars are needed in the shower. There is nothing to hold onto to wash the bottom of your feet. This very scary for a senior citizen. I loved the floors. Check the hangers in the rooms. Ours were dusty and rusty. Nice stay. I would book Red Roof Inn in West Memphis again.
- 4/5
The hotel was very nice. My only suggestion is to put safety bars in the showers. There is nothing to hold onto getting in and out of the shower.
- 5/5
Dog friendly
- 5/5
smooth check-in, clean room. the person working the check-in desk at night monitors the cameras for safety, which made us feel safe/secure.
- 3/5
The room itself was clean. The rest of the facility and surrounding were filthy. The locks on the door were broken and house keeping tried to enter without knocking. I braced a chair against the door itself.
- 4/5
Good cost-benefit.
- 1/5
Hotel was not fully booked so should have been able to get a coffee pot from another room. Bathroom was soo small.
- 4/5
The room was fine; no complaints. My only criticism is the neighborhood and limitations on dining options; one Mexican restaurant across the street...marginal and then there's the hotel/casino, also across the street, if you like that sort of thing.
- 5/5
The rooms are clean which is important to me. Didn't have breakfast only coffee and juice but that's okay when they allow pets to stay for free. Bed was comfortable. Not fancy but that's okay too for a one night stay. Excellent Mexican restaurant just across the street. Absolutely will stay again when we need a room in West Memphis.
- 5/5
Clean property with comfortable beds. Room was roomy & equipped with small fridge & microwave. Location was great for our one night stay and easy access back on highway.
- 5/5
I didnt have my soap in my room everything else was great it was my birthday
- 4/5
Very convincing to Southland Casino, however some hotels in area are much cheaper and look similar or better for your money. I believe the rate is due to Casino being right across the street.
- 5/5
No pet fee comfy beds
- 5/5
The property is quite safe and friendly .
- 5/5
Keep up the good work👍
- 5/5
The check in was fast and easy. They make you pay a $50 deposit that you get back at checkout. They called the room right before 11 and said time to go. Lol but the room was clean and spacious but the microwave was disgusting like something exploded in it and started rotting. Definetly would throw that out.
- 3/5
Hotel wasn’t bad, check in and getting into the room was easy. They accepted our dog which was wonderful, and the room was clean and normal. Only issue was the sound of some kind of metal or machine of some kind making a racket on all sides as well as above us at random times throughout the night. Other than that even the bed was comfy!
- 5/5
It was awesome
- 5/5
It was quiet and peaceful
- 3/5
Do not feel housekeeping really does that great of a job
- 4/5
Clean good location. Not really a problem but the ice machine is in the lobby. Could have more amenities
- 5/5
Nice customers service
- 4/5
Convenient
- 5/5
Will stay here again.
