Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham West Palm Beach Airport

I like the closeness to a main road. The rooms look like they need updating. Dishwasher would get full of water as if the sink was draining into it after bringing up the first day it was fixed but it happened again it was brought up again no one fixed it and our room didn’t get cleaned garbage still in room when we came back from an all day conference to find no one came to clean. Disappointing when we paid over a 1,000.00 for 3 day stay.

One of the cleanest rooms we stayed in and the rooms were huge!

Great stay - was there for a golf tournament and travel was easy with lots for food and grocery options around!

They charged me for an extra room that I did not stay in. I payed for 3 night in a room that I had extended the stay. The original one night somehow did not get canceled and they charged me for it. Also and refused to refund it even though we weren’t in that room. Convenient location, but will never stay here again

Room was clean and spacious. I gave a 9 vs a 10 because I booked for 4 people but there were only 3 towels. Gf breakfast options. Not just yogurt and fruit for that matter.

Unfortunately, the floor we stayed on had a strong body odor smell, and the room itself did not feel very clean. The bathroom floors had a slippery film on them, and several appliances and surfaces appeared like they had not been wiped down recently.

I was happy with everything. The people at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer. They accommodated a room change for me when the people next-door were up all night being very loud. They gave me adjoining rooms with my cousin who is helping me with the surgery. I was so pleasantly surprised with the staff who were always friendly. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was great and the breakfast staff was friendly. The drivers of the van knew the roads and were efficient and friendly. I can’t say more. It was a delightful experience all the way around.

Hotel was conveniently located for my travel plans. Morning breakfast for no charge was adequate and I was thankful that the hotel offered more than cold items. The happy hour listed wings and a pizza available for purchase and that was not available . The lobby bar could have been better stocked- maybe more than 4-5 people would’ve attended but the bartenders were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel offered a shuttle for a weekly fee of 35.00 and that saved me a lot of money. The shuttle was always available and on time!!! Front desk workers were pleasant and helpful. My room was roomy - TV had plenty of channels but was not a smart TV. I did not use maid services. I had plenty of linens etc. I did not cook in my room but could’ve. I heated things up - all in all great hotel. Plus I did reserve the nights on a Black Friday through Expedia so I got a great price!!!

The evening bartender was fantastic. The lady doing the night shift Fri night was atrocious and didn't want to get off her but and stop watching her videos to help my roommate get into our room. Room was nice, Michael greeted us and was very friendly. Tried to help with tv issue but was oit of his hands. Offered another room but was to late in the evening and kids were tired and disnt want to move.

I also was expected to pay for enhanced WiFi for each device I used - this is unlike any other hotel in the world that I have stayed at. Normally it is priced per room with up to 3 devices, not this place!

The room was extremely noisy due to freeway traffic. Had trouble sleeping. Your breakfast was nice though!

This place was a godsend after our flight got cancelled out of PBI. We were able to get a last minute 2BR suite for all five of us, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Shoutout to Michael at the front desk for helping us store and retrieve our luggage both on arrival and departure!

The room is kinda old but clean. Comfy beds. Easy check-in. Easy to get to restaurants and Target. laundry room available.

A pound arriving at the hotel our room had already been given away, even though we were arrived before midnight and had made two phone calls to the hotel as well as reached out to them via the messaging app twice. We we were assured our room would be their first when we arrived. I arrived at 10:30 PM and they stated our room has been given away. They did provide us with an alternative room. There were poop smears on the seats of the chairs in the sitting room area as well as the chair in the bedroom. The wallpaper was peeling away from the walls. There was also a handicapped room, so unfortunately everything was at waist night. This wasn’t too bad just a little inconvenient. The staff were absolutely wonderful, kind and courteous. The breakfast was acceptable. It would’ve been nice to have some bacon as a change from the sausage they provided every day even Sunday.

The property was very clean. The free breakfast was just enough and many good options. Staff at night was not as helpful. Had to call every night for something — blankets (finally delivered after 5 calls); towels as not enough left by housekeeping (I had to go pick up from front desk) and toilet paper (I guess housekeeping didn’t notice we were in our last roll and it was almost out). Other than that, it was wonderful! Location was great!

I really liked my stay at this extended stay hotel. Very clean and spacious room with everything that I needed. Rooms were being cleaned daily, and the staff were super friendly and respectful. The hotel manager, Omar, was fantastic and was doing everything to make sure all the guests were receiving premium service and were happy from their moment of check-in to check-out. Breakfast was good and was offering different menus every day, so it was not boring; I really liked the breakfast buffet. The hotel is located in a close proximity to shopping center with variety of dining options. I enjoyed the Whole Foods, and City Pizza Italian Cuisine and highly recommend them. For me, everything was great and I will definintey come back for my next trips. Thanks to the whole team, especially Omar for his outstanding management.

Stayed here 3 times, every Christmas and New years for the past 3 years, first time we stayed there the pool was heated, 2nd year pool wasnt heated, 3rd time a month before the booking i reached out to the hotel and asked them if the pool is heated in December and January months just to make sure if i keep the booking we would have a heated pool. The reply i got from the hotel is that their pool was heated year round. Appon arrival for the 3rd time their i inspected the water and it was ice cold, asked the front desk twice to turn on the heaters, they said their maintenance staff will do it, i was there for 8 days, all 8 days the water was ice cold. Booked this hotel specifically for the heated pool, since December and January are a hit and miss for weather.

The room was spacious, but old. The fridge was turned down to 2 and was warm as was the freezer. If I hadn't looked upon entering, our food would have spoiled. Also the room was very cold so immediately upon entering I turned the heat on (it was January). The temp in the room read 65 degrees. After about 2 hours it read 67 degrees even though the heat was turned upon to 85 degrees. I went down to the front desk and spoke to Isabella. She said there was no maintenance man on duty but that she would send the van driver up. I also asked for blankets. The housekeeper was kind enough to bring 3 blankets right away. That helped a lot when we sent to sleep. The driver never arrived and no maintenance man fixed the heat the next day. If a hotel does not have a maintenance man at night, I suggest checking the rooms every so often to make sure everything is in working order. Frustrating cold stay. Also some of us got hot water for the shower, some of us. Very old hotel.

The room was in good condition, but the bathroom had a smell to it like the water that was used to clean it with was old water. The staff was great and courteous.

We loved the property, everything was great! We especially Loved the New Years Lil party at the bar!!

The drying machine does not work weel, i had to buy more and more tokens to run it again and again (4 cycles). The housekeeping lady was super nice and welcoming.

Location was close to the airport and there is shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Hotel was clean and in good condition. Love the breakfast buffet. There is a shuttle service for local areas within 3 miles for a fee. There is wifi but the signal was not strong. I would definitely stay here again.

I didn’t like two staff members standing in front of the building smoking. I have respiratory issues and is on oxygen. I had to go around to enter the building to avoid the smoke! Everything else was outstanding.

The room was spotless. The front staff was very prifessional and helpful because we misplaced our keys within a half hour of arriving, and the keys were immediately replaced. After about an hour, the front staff let us know that the lost keys were found by another customer and everything was fine

There was a pillow that seemed dirty and with a stain. Also there was crumbs or something between the bed and night table on the floor. There was a pubic hair in the shower when we came in. Upon entering the room had a little smell to it. Everything else was ok. Breakfast was good.

The room and amenities were fine and breakfast was good, but we had a lot of problems with the people who stayed in the room next to us. There were two different guests there. The first was extremely loud and smoked weed which we could smell. The second group were also extremely loud and smoked cigarettes which we could also smell. I had to contact the front desk 4 times. They did send security up to talk with these people, but other than that nothing else was done. I paid a lot of money to say in that hotel and having to deal with all that with no comped nights or anything wasnt right. I wont be staying in this hotel again.

The hotel is good, but the decor is dated. Quiet location, safe, good breakfast with porcelain dishes and proper cutlery. Finally, a hotel that doesn't produce so much waste, which is very commendable. Unfortunately, there's no shampoo, etc., in the shower; only a small bottle of shower gel.

Parking was safe and rooms were big and comfortable.

The room was very clean and well stocked. It was very quiet. I travel to West Palm Beach once a month and I will be staying at your hotel exclusively.

The staff were very friendly, the free breakfast was lovely but I did find 2 earwigs in my bathroom over the course of a week and 2 ants on my bed on 2 consecutive days. This wouldn't put me off staying here as the place was clean. I mentioned it at the front desk and they offered to have my room sprayed. The room was spacious and the shampoo, conditioner and soap were great.

Got really sick the night before my trip. Hotel wouldn’t give me a refund. I travel to West Palm 4-6 days each month. I’ve stayed at this Hawthorne several times. Never again.

We arrived on Friday night and the check in was quick. We went out for the day Saturday morning at 9 and returned after 3 and then we heard a knock on the door at 4 and it’s house keeping. We were set to check out Sunday morning and at 8:30 house keeping knocking on the door????? What happened the day before???

This hotel is beautiful and is in an excellent location. The full kitchen is a plus. We get tired of restaurants when traveling so it was great to be able to make dinner ourselves.

I was very impressed with the hotel. The rooms, although a bit dated, were very clean. The best beds and most comfortable. Sheets were very clean and did I say beds were beyond comfortable. The beds and pillows were my favorite part. Room was so quiet and spacious.

Be warned, the one bedroom is not an actual separate room. Also the condition of several rooms are quite gross. The 3rd room we were moved too was the best of the options. Disappointing stay overall.

This hotel is immaculate!! The landscaping around the pool & entire property is gorgeous! Breakfast daily is delicious! Several options & they serve you. The day reception manager is Laquea & this girl is WONDERFUL!!! She was able to get us an early check in & was extremely gracious. We’ve never experienced this at any hotel in any State. Her accommodating us meant the world to both of us. We had just got off of a cruise ship early in the morning & being able to check in & settle in was so appreciated!! Also Angelina at the bar has the best personality & makes tasty cocktails. This hotel offers Shuttle within a 4 mile radius for a small fee. We want to give a huge thank you to Casimir (sp?) and Pedro for getting us places & especially Casimir fir the timely ride to the airport on our departure. The Hawthorn extended stay hotel and suites is definitely a place that we would return to!

Maintenance and housekeeping could step it up a notch and work together. TV remote didn’t work, toilet seat wasn’t secured on one side so it slid back and forth and they left less than a 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper in the holder, other than that a decent stay.

I only ate the hotel breakfast 2 times, the first time between 9:10am to 9:30am, no yogurt or sausage, no oatmeal, oatmeal packets are very sweet. The second time, with oatmeal & meat pat & yogurt, much better. I hope the quality of the breakfast will improve. I used the office printer once. I find it easy to use, and very helpful. The lake in front of the hotel provides a decent exercise for me. I also like that I can walk to Wholefood to get some dinner done in a healthy way.

Bed was comfortable. Heated pool was nice, though furniture needs updated. Breakfast was delicious, but hours too short, especially traveling with teens. They were never up in time. Room service was barely ok. Room was clean, but we only had our beds made on the last day. Constantly needed to call front desk in the evening to have things sent up to our room that housekeeping should have replaced. Overall though, we would stay there again.

It was a great hotel even for just a one night stay.

Very nice hotel

It was a great location and the interior was impressive. The breakfast and eating area were superb! The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and well stocked! The shower had no curtain, but that wasn't a big deal. Overall, that was a great experience and I won't hesitate to stay there again whenever I am in the West Palm Beach area!

The finishes are top-notch, and the staff treated us with respect and we felt valued as customers. We loved the breakfast that was provided for us. We dined at the hotel on a couple of occasions during our stay. We also like the nice and quaint bar and the very personable and friendly bartender named Edmund; He treated us like family. I would have to think very hard about any complaint that we had. The only thing that comes to mind is that one of our mattress's, seemed to be deformed and a little worn, it was indented and worn; seems like individuals have been sitting on the edge of the mattress in the same spot causing a huge divot make comfortable sleep difficult. We would stay here again.

I was there for a very short stay only a couple of nights. The hotel is OK nothing fancy average stay for people passing through the breakfast. Could use a little improvement. I recommend it.

Perfect for work trip

The elevator hall on the fifth floor smelled like unwashed bodies. The room also was overwhelmingly bad. Toilet wasn’t flushed. Toilet seat needed to be repaired. Bed was not comfortable or room sound proofed. Very disappointing.

The lobby and rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. Our room had multiple areas where the wallpaper was peeling. The ac was off more than on through the night, making the temp extremely inconsistent.

The hotel was adequate for our needs. The rooms were clean and made service was good.The staff was friendly and responsive. The breakfast was acceptable. The area is not convenient for a dining or other amenities. The happy hour, and the bar being open did not happen, and that could be improved.

Hot breakfast selection was excellent. Fitness room offered equipment that we wanted. Convenient to the highway.

Only reason I downgraded one star for comfort was the mattress was not the best, kinda sunk in the middle. Otherwise, seems like the best value is West Palm Beach!
