Reviews
The hotel reviews are generally negative, with guests expressing dissatisfaction with cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. However, some guests appreciated the friendly staff and convenient location.
- Friendly staff
- Convenient location
- Lack of cleanliness
- Poor maintenance and upkeep

Had mold in it, there were stains on the chair. The air conditioner didn’t work. The shampoo and conditioner bottles that were provided were empty. The breakfast that was promoted was actually furthest from it. Not only that Expedia says that pool is open and it’s actually closed. It’s used for extended stay and you need to make sure you lock your car doors. Lastly there is an extreme odor in the rooms.

NOTHING EVERYTHING
- 1/5
Pool was closed. Couldn’t understand staff. No parking for trailers. Shower barely worked. No food at breakfast.
- 3/5
The photography is very generous. Rooms are much smaller than they appear, property is older. The room was perfectly clean - no complaints there at all. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We interacted with 2 different desk attendants and the cleaning staff and they were all just great. I chose this hotel because most other places advertised a "Continental Breakfast" and this one said theirs was a "Buffet". Which, to me, meant bacon, eggs, potatoes, toasts, etc. At least some kind of protein. What it actually is, is a Continental Breakfast with a waffle iron. Fine. Just not great. Overall, a nice stay. But breakfast was a letdown.
- 3/5
Convenient and good for a place to sleep while visiting. Price was good. Room wasn't the cleanest but you get what you pay for.
- 4/5
Easy access to freeway, clean room & hot breakfest. We stayed on backside so not bothered by traffic noise.
- 5/5
We always have a good stay when we are in town
- 2/5
Breakfast was very disappointing.
- 1/5
Drains in room clogged, stains on sheets, outdated, ac system was clogged with dust.
- 4/5
Clean despite the floor coming up in multiple areas. Would stay again if passing through again.
- 2/5
Train behind hotel was loud made it hard to sleep. Water leak in shower. No carpeting
- 5/5
Clean and quiet
- 1.5/5
I got charge an extra $100 for the deposit after leaving, after paying an initial $100. The guy working at the desk when I visited at 3pm was immature, and one of the cleaning staff members were as well.
- 3/5
The room was ok the bathroom need improvement had a working tv with my channels to choose from
- 1.5/5
We weren’t there very long to find out what we’d like too much about the property What I didn’t like about the property was the bed was extremely uncomfortable and it didn’t feel like the AC was working properly
- 4/5
Convenient for truck drivers
- 4/5
Nice people

Really strange,
- 5/5
I love how clean and comfortable the property was. I can't find a single thing to complain about
- 5/5
Convient
- 4/5
Large outdoors area and people were nice.
- 2/5
Good location The pool was out of service the room smell of pot the breakfast was a joke
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and spoke with a kind smile. The room was roomly and very clean.
- 2/5
First I would like to say the man at the front desk was kind and the property was landscaped and well maintained. The room advertised a pool but it was still covered and closed. The walls in the room are in need of paint. The light on the wall was crooked. The curtain was missing a pull. The remote had no battery cover. The sink and tub didn’t have drain plugs making it useless for bathing kids. The freezer had mold, The flooring by the air conditioner had signs of past water damage. We did stay the night as moving to another hotel was not practical when traveling with kids and dogs. The beds were old but comfortable and we did sleep well.
- 2/5
Not our standard of hotel stay
- 4/5
Clean.
- 2/5
Finally got another room and it had mold in the shower joints.
- 1.5/5
The hotel is in a sketchy part of town, I would not recommend staying with your family, if it's just you maybe. We will not be back.
- 3.5/5
Great location Breakfast was not good, only got 2 towels for our entire stay
- 0.5/5
Location
- 2/5
Noise pollution from trains right next to the hotel!!
- 0.5/5
Horrible , beds are not clean and the rooms are very old
- 2/5
The Wi-Fi didn't work in our room that was a big issue for me because I had no internet access unless I used my own data. I feel like I paid for Wi-Fi that I wasn't getting. No one came to the room after our two night stay to see if we needed towels or the trash taken out or fresh sheets. When I booked the room I was charged $119. I figured they would be some taxes included in it but when I looked at my bank account it said I was charged $205 for the room. I knew there would be some taxes but I didn't think it would be almost $80 extra so I won't be booking there ever again. Just really disappointing
- 5/5
Great hotel and great stay

- 2/5
Rooms were very unclean with ripped furniture and drapes.
- 3/5
Staff was pleasant. Allowed us to park our camper. Price was high for the room. Seen a cockroach in bathroom.
- 1/5
Yellow stain on blanket. Stains on walls. Black long hair on towels. Slept with lights on to avoid bugs. Was not the same that the pictures showed. Other reviews are very accurate I should have looked at them first but we were so tired.
- 0.5/5
Nothing. The breakfast was trash, it tasted like water all of it. My son spit his food out that how nasty it was.
- 4/5
Location to event Look a little aged and could use some fleshing up
- 1/5
Stay was horrible, pool was not accessible, holes in walls, taped up power outlets with things plugged in, just all around terrible
- 4/5
The location was convenient to surrounding stores. Everything was close by and right by the interstate. It was also quiet for the most part. We booked this hotel because of it's location and because it had a pool. When I checked in, I noticed the pool was covered with a black tarp and I asked if it was going to be open. I was informed the pool was not accessible and would not be opened. This was very disappointing. We were also never informed that there was a train that came through pretty often and the horn was loud, especially late at night. The trash cans outside were never emptied the entire time we were there, which was 5 days. They were over flowing and covered in ants.
- 5/5
Clean
- 3/5
They advertised a pool that was closed and not working. The AC unit in the room was rusted. The comforter was dirty, and the room Snelled.
- 3.5/5
no wifi
- 4.5/5
Did not have breakfast Not anything
- 1/5
Bad service
- 4/5
Staff very friendly. My only issue was they didn't have a sheet for the pull out bed in the suite. We went to the front office but they didn't have any either. We had to take the top sheet off the bed and use it. Room a little on the small side but can't beat it for the price!
- 3/5
It was ok for the price. The hotel ran out of breakfast food.... So thats the only downside I have.
- 1/5
I didnt like at at all. There was roaches. There was a hole beside the front door to the wall. There was mold all over room.. weird people lurking outside our room.i would not ever go back and if yall r smart yall wouldnt either. I tried getting a refund and was going to checkout but nobody responding to our complaints
- 2/5
Our room had a warped entry door that was hard to open and close (stuck on jamb/latch). The bathroom door was rotted out at the bottom 8 inches. The toilet was right next to a side wall that the TP was on (inconvenient and uncomfortable). The only "hot" item was waffles and the batter was so runny that the waffle was doughy. Upon being asked we stated that we did not need adjoining rooms, the other room should NOT have been rented. The bathroom was so filthy that they would not even shower, there was almost no TP on the roll and no spare. SAFETY HAZARD: The lights between the beds would just come on on their own, finally unplugged being concerned that a fire might start in their sleep. There was also an exterior outlet by the office door with no covering whatsoever.
- 2/5
Pool was not open. I picked a hotel with a pool for the kids. We had no pool. Also, I paid for a suite. I ended up in a king room with a pullout. So I paid for a suite, but received a lesser room.
- 1/5
The pictures on the site were nothing like what the actual property looked like. Very rundown and didn't know it was a motel instead of a hotel. Would not recommended this property to anyone. Only stayed there for 30 min, went to go get dinner that was 20 min away and rebooked another hotel in Rome, GA.
- 4/5
CONS: Cigarette butts all over parking lot, broken door and curtains. Old property. No hot food service in the morning. GOOD VALUE FOR TRAVELING OVERNIGHT.
- 4/5
fast and easy to get back on the road
- 3/5
Looked like people were living there. Mold everywhere
- 4/5
Unusually cold temps with high winds made hard to warm up, plus there were cracks around door and windiws not sealed very well. Took about 3 to 4 hrs to get where warm enough to sleep.
- 3/5
The area was very noisy, the floor was dirty and they only provided two towels.
- 3/5
Toilet was clogged, internet was out, phone didn't work, tub was not clean, shower curtain had an oder...other than all just just OK. Called the manager twice...no return call yet...6 days later???
- 2/5
Dirty floors, dirty bed sheets with dog hair all over. We asked to switch rooms and the attendant was accommodating. When we got to the “new” room, there was vomit on the bed skirt and the carpet had not been vacuumed. We had to ask for another room yet again. They pit clean sheets on before we went up. No continental breakfast was served. Very Smokey smells even in the non smoking rooms. Trash and debris in the parking lot. But they did have a friendly desk staff.
- 1/5
I had no breakfast, the fridge was not working and the room smelled ugly
- 2/5
not as advertised. No lake veiw, no breakfast. Gave a no smoking room. Supposed to be smoking.
- 2/5
I would stay . Went another hotel. Obviously lost my payment. First time ever. Not one to be overly critical
- 1/5
2. Linens were dirty. 3. Killed 25 flies in the room. 4. Gnats in the sink. 5. Room smelled. 6. Dirty. 7. Baseboards hanging off. 8. Staff didn't know how to do a refund, and said I could come back the next day.
- 2/5
- 2/5
Pool out of order and older property in need of general updating. Staff was very nice and hotel was clean but just not in great shape.
- 4/5
Great but I received phone calls about my credit card from the front desk
- 1/5
The room was infested with flies, there was chewed bubble gum on the bed, and dirt on the sheets. The night shift clerk was nice. When trying to discuss a refund since we left after 1.5 hours the day shift and second shift clerks were rude.
- 2/5
Pool was closed. Breakfast area wasn't stocked very well and the room was moderately clean. I should have paid more and gone somewhere else.
- 1/5
The outside grounds had paper/garbage/cigarettes & butts all over. The interior rooms had dead spiders and bugs smashed on the walls. The bathroom was dirty. Finally the train tracks were very close and trains were very loud throughout the night. Will never stay there again.
- 3/5
Refrigerator was running but not cooling sodas I needed for driving. The extra security lock was broken. There was NO breakfast offered - other hotels modified breakfast - this motel eliminated it. Check in via night window - no admit to lobby. No guide to TV stations. Dated and old - but appeared clean.
- 4/5
Room was very clean, beds and pillows were amazing. Lever to turn on shower didn’t work. We chose this hotel for continental breakfast but they didn’t have it open for Covid.
- 2/5
Tv didn't work. Wet slippery bathroom floor from a leak. Not friendly staff. Comfortable bed and fairly cleann room.
- 3/5
The check in was difficult, to say the least. As the hotel didn’t get payment from hotels.com and I had to wait 25 plus minutes to get in the room. Then there was no breakfast which was part of why we stayed here
- 2/5
The air conditioning was inadequate. Set the temps at 65 degrees and the room was still warm. The toilet was disgusting and filthy. I always carry a small blacklight which detects soiled bed sheets or carpets. Shining it on the toilet revealed a good deal of urine stains running on the sides of the bowl. These are the things you cannot see with the naked eye. Toilet paper wasn't changed. There was a light bulb out, and the property was unkept. Weeds everywhere, right outside the door. Horrible.
- 4/5
Had ants on nightstand and bed. Spent majority of time having to deal with that. Train right next to hotel. But lady at front was nice.
- 2/5
Not very clean. Cracked flooring to trip on. Toilet broken and ran constantly until I temporarily fixed it. Garbage cans in the parking lit hadn't been emptied for several days. I won't be back.
- 3/5
The staff was really kind but the blanket had many stains on it so we had to use our own. We only had 1 towel for 4 people. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
- 1/5
Location was good. Cleanliness was horrible. Bathtub was too filthy to use. We have had less than desirable conditions with Quality Inns recently and will not use Quality Inn in the future.
- 3/5
Rooms are in need of updating. Paint, flooring has gaps in laminate seams. Bathroom was in need of fresh caulking.
- 4/5
Room was nice. Great bed but bathroom needed repair.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly. Lots of open space around. Breakfast was good. My only complaint is the hotel is next to a railroad track and trains went through several times that night.
- 5/5
The property was beautiful and the breakfast great. Overall a great stay.
- 4/5
The only negative is its very close to a rail crossing so the trains Engineer needs to blow the horn at all rail crossing
- 4/5
Clean comfortable room we would definitely stay again on our next trip
- 4/5
The room was nice and clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable.
- 3/5
Unfortunately, the sheets were dirty (noticeably) & there was hair in the sink & tub.
- 3/5
Near where I need go staff very helpful and easy access to instate
- 5/5
Nice & clean hotel, great helpful staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- 5/5
The room was nice. Comfortable bed. AC worked great. I would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
The motel was right beside a railroad track in which every 3-4 hours the train came day & night so I didn't sleep well. The bathroom door is so close to the toilet that you have to step into shower to close the door. The rooms need to be upgraded bc of patched holes ceilings & a few other things.
- 2/5
The room was dirty. It had an ant mound behind the bathroom door; and spiders in the room.
- 5/5
We hope to be back soon !
- 5/5
Great room. Clean , comfortable, close to town. I recommend.
- 2/5
Train tracks very close to hotel. Many very loud trains throughout the night. Got to breakfast at 8am. No coffee, no breakfast meat, poor service
- 3/5
The hotel was clean but noticed the need for pest control due to ants. A good night's rest was far frim reality with the hotel being located right next to the train tracks.
- 2/5
A train ran through my room every few hours!!!
- 3/5
Check in was slow. Rooms clean except for the comforter on 207. It had stains on it like it wasn't washed for awhile. Breakfast bar didn't have decaf coffee or flavored creamers. Party going on in some rooms was very noisy.
- 2/5
The room was pretty nice for a motel, but had several issues. For one, when house keeping came in they would turn off the AC. We were there for several days and it was hot. When we came back to our room, the temp was not comfortable because it was turned off without our permission. Also, housekeeping messed with our stuff....nothing seemed to be damaged or missing, but in my opinion you don't touch my stuff to dust or make things look nicer. If I put a personal belonging down, it should remain untouched. Also, note that this is right near a train station which is very loud at night. It woke me up often. The room does not do a good job of blocking out noise. I heard people outside being loud as well. Especially since the door goes straight outside...you can hear everything from people talking to people parking their cars and closing their doors. There is also outside lights that beam into the rooms, which is pretty hard to block out as well.
- 1/5
We encountered spiders, spider webs, and any other bug you could think of. Bugs were in the room and outside of it. Imagine every time you go out the room you have to take cover so a spider does not drop down on you. Even the front desk staff was terrible. They didn't know how to speak to anyone or properly address a situation.
- 1/5
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The exit it was on, had nothing around. The air conditioner made allllll kinds of noise through out the night. BUT, that was quiet compared to the train that came through every hour of the night and blew it's horn over and over and over. You thought it was coming in the room. Went to wash up before bed and the faucet wasn't even attached to the sink. Had the water lines attached, but I could basically hold it in my hand!!! Room 212, told the front desk and they said someone else told them about it,,,,,,,,,, THEN FIX IT!!!!!!! Continental breakfast wasn't much at all.
- 2/5
Stuff was broken. The faucet was detached so when you tried to wash your hands it came out of the sink. Several of the outlets were broken, loose, or hanging from the wall. Not in good condition. The 1 year old kept going towards the outlets so it is definitely a safety hazard. Just not a nice place and not well kept. The stuff was as clean as it could by I think by the cleaning staff but in need of serious maintenance. Mold in shower to where my wife wouldn't take a shower and big blood stain on the mattress. Will not stay here again
- 3/5
the place was OK for a stop over but was overpriced for what you got. it was a good $50 room but not $100+ which is what we paid. we have been disappointed with Quality Inns in GA and will look elsewhere in the future.
- 5/5
I booked through Expedia and was told that I had to pay up front. Which I did, when I got there the clerk was very nice but she was confused about my payment then made a comment about booking thru Expedia they didn't get paid there full amount. The room was ok, old but reasonably clean. Pillows were small and lumpy, coffee pot didn't work, but it was quite and staff was nice. The breakfast was ok but blah. No pool that we could see. If all you need is a place to shower and sleep on the road it was ok.
