It’s been a very long time since I had to fill out paperwork info at a hotel. Old school for sure. 😊Clean room. Quiet area. Even though it was located near the interstate it wasn’t noisy.

The pillow is not comfortable. Also people upstairs the kid keep running around and make stumps noises. I know it is not a Management problem but they should check them.

Excellent room, very convenient location, very reasonable price. Nothing. I can't say anything bad about this hotel

While it's not super close to any fast food or takeout places, there's a mini mart nearby, as well as a restaurant. And if you've gotta have your Ludy's, it's just a short drive down a back street. I've never brought a pet, but I believe they will take pets, probably with a fee. If you're looking for a friendly, affordable option, this is a great one for going to the airport, passing through, or even staying for a few days.

Great property right of I-5 near SMF. Clean, comfy, and a soft pillow!

This is an older hotel that has been renovated and looks well kept. However there was no one at the front desk when we arrived and had to wait 20 minutes before someone came to check us in. Also, the shower in our room did not work and this was very disappointing.

until 1am. The man working there let me in . And i want to say thank you!!!
- 5/5
Great staff!
- 5/5
Quiet place
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, everything was in working order. Plenty of parking, quiet, calm area. Staff were professional, helpful and responsive. Very convenient location when traveling on I-5. Rates were better than all the other hotels in town.

Great place great time memories last forever

Hi. That day when I arrived at the hotel very tired, when I opened the door I was welcomed by this cozy and super clean room, which looks more like a small apartment because it has all the comforts like TV, microwave, coffee maker that also leaves you with 2 packets of coffee, sugar and cream, iron and dryhair machine, a sofa, the best part it was the confortable bed and pillow's, the patio is also very, very clean and I felt very safe because they have pretty good lighting on the night outside I was able to park my car in front of the door of my room, it is a safe place to stay, you will not find luxury but a super clean place and cozy place. Motel is clean, room easy to access from parking lot. Old, uninspired property.
- 2/5
I would stay for one or two nights tops. Smells like cigarettes. Poor cleanliness
- 5/5
Room was very comfortable, clean and had everything needed for our stay
- 5/5
Very nice staff during check in and check out. Nice stay!
- 4/5
The room was fine. The fridge was so loud. Also, the bed was very uncomfortable. I did appreciate having the ev charging stations right there. Breakfast would have been nice.
- 5/5
Clean room.
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
Did appreciate the microwave and fridge.
- 1/5
Literally wet liquid in our sheets. Did not stay and couldn’t get refund.
- 4/5
If you like firm beds, this is your place. Unfortunately, it was way too hard for my back. Staff was nice to get me an extra pillow though.
- 4/5
Easy to find after a long flight. Within walking distance of a decent meal. A good place to sleep.
- 5/5
Quiet
- 5/5
Nice spot
- 5/5
The Valley Oaks is clean, kind of quiet, and has good amenities. It’s comfortable, and even a basic room is quite spacious and pleasant! Feels like a lot of great value for every dollar spent. Pet friendly which is very helpful for me, and definitely a pleasant check in experience.
- 3/5
Fine for a place to sleep. But overpriced for what you get.
- 5/5
But zero service. The Indian owners do not believe in any amenities ! No SOUP FOR YOU!
- 5/5
Great accommodation. Clean room.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Close to freeway. Easy parking. Quiet. Room very comfortable.
- 5/5
Pleasant staff, clean rooms

Convenient, safe, nice place.
- 5/5
You can't beat it, especially for the price! Super clean, large rooms. Desk clerk was very nice and helpful.
- 4/5
I needed a mouse for my laptop and they loaned me one which was very nice of them.
- 5/5
The man that checked me in was really polite and professional. Room was clean and spacious.
- 4/5
Very nice place and very clean. Check in and check out was easy. would stay here again
- 5/5
Me and my wife have stayed at this motel 3 or 4 times and we will every rime we come to woodland. We've paid between $72-$82 and the rooms r great. Its apmost lime a quaint littls studio appartment. We call it our home away from home. I would recomend this motel to any1 staying n that area.
- 4/5
had homeless walking around and microwave didnt work had the coffee maker in bathroom
- 4/5
They don’t have a pool even though past photos show a pool. I wasn’t there for the pool so it didn’t matter that much to me.
- 5/5
Well their cheap, and it's a place to lay your head so its better than some and not a good a other's
- 5/5
I love staying at this hotel, 2nd time I stayed here for a music festival and its comfortable and clean and everyone is nice.
- 4/5
Close to roadway noise. Several shady patrons on bicycles. Convenient place to stop.
- 4/5
Cops stay a round the property
- 5/5
Easy and friendly check in. Very clean parking lot and surrounding area. Our room was very comfortable with a bed and a sofa for comfort. The AC ran cold all night and the shower had nice hot water in the morning.
- 5/5
Its really quiet and a safe area.
- 5/5
Right off the freeway , nice place to stay .
- 1/5
It was horrible. There was no AC the TV didn’t work. The room smelled like piss. I’ll make sure I never stay there again. Hotels.com is really failing me lately. I think it’s time to find a new app because they don’t tell you the prices nor do they have good motels.
- 5/5
Good service fast check in room was clean. Thanks! I'll be staying here again.
- 5/5
Quick , easy to check in, very clean.
- 1/5
I don’t like the way they rip You off meaning Vally Oaks staff charged 100.00 for room and 15.00 for pet gave Us the key We went to use it and the key card did not open door We went back and they charged us 15.00 for pet again so yes I gave them a star because I could not give them zero star
- 5/5
Flight arrived late. Staff was in the office at midnight when we arrived. Checked in easily.
- 1/5
This place had bed bugs and refuses to believe they do and I got bitten up everywhere DO NOT STAY!!!
- 5/5
Appears in process of remodeling.
- 5/5
It was over night. Room was clean
- 5/5
The Manager was awesome !!!
- 5/5
The only criticism I have is that the shower was hooked up backwards. Hot water was to the right. It took me a while to figure that out! :)
- 5/5
Easy freeway access, easy, safe parking in back. It’s not the Four Seasons, but totally adequate - has everything you need. I imagine the building closer to the freeway is noisier.
- 5/5
Easy access from freeway. Short drive to Sacramento Airport or City. This should be rated at least 3.7 stars. Improvements are in progress.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay
- 5/5
Had a comfortable stay overnight. The room is spacious. Old furniture, worn but adequate. Clean. Quiet.
- 4/5
There was an iron and ironing board in room to use to iron clothes.
- 4/5
We stay here whenever we are in Woodland. It is clean and comfortable. Not fancy but good for traveling with pets
- 5/5
Really clean and friendly
- 5/5
Easy check in check out.
- 5/5
Check-in was a breeze and I appreciate being able to get set-up after 9pm. Room is clean. Thank you.
- 4/5
Just off freeway and still quiet.
- 3/5
While the office staff are pleasant the facilities are located next to the freeway and with the thin walls of the building it was incredibly difficult to sleep when they place you on the side of the onramp. The beds are hard and incredibly squeaky and there were cigarette burns in the thin blankets in our non smoking room. Other than that i have no complaints
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Pet friendly.
- 5/5
Excellent cheap hôtel, close to I-5. Clean!
- 5/5
We stayed here because it's not far from my family's house, so that made it very convienent for us. It's not close to very much except the freeway, so walking is probably not recommended, and nearby food options are limited. But for our situation, it was great. It gave us refuge from the chaos of the holiday, and was a quiet, comfortable stay. When I asked for extra pillows, they were very accomodating. This is the second or third time we've stayed here, and we've never had any issues.
- 5/5
Staff was very kind and accommodating. Thank you
- 4/5
It was good for one night. Not much around there. It was clean.
- 5/5
Good night stay.
- 5/5
Well run. Just what we needed for a comfortable night before an early morning flight
- 3/5
Note: no breakfast.
- 3/5
This is a budget friendly hotel. No amenities really. The room was clean. The bed was more of a full than a queen. We asked for more pillows at the front desk and the guy never brought them. The blanket was pretty thin and the alarm clock kept doing a weird low volume buzzing (yes I checked to see if the alarm was on or not!). It would buzz more when my phone was near it.. Anyway. It was clean. It felt safe. Budget friendly. Near a very yummy breakfast restaurant. It is on the same side of the street as the hotel.Find the rice factory and the restaurant is across the street. Sorry I don’t have a name.

😌
- 1/5
There was shady people . Didn’t feel like a hotel and felt uncomfortable. Definitely don’t stay there
- 2/5
The dark blue sofa was dirty black on the back cushions. Holes in the sitting cushions. Door did not seal tight, light came through between the frame and the door. The bathroom faucet was loose and moved around. The hinges on the bathroom door were dirty and tarnished. All these problems piled up to give this establishment all thumbs down. For $91, my money would have been better spent elsewhere.
- 4/5
Decently maintained. Reasonable clean. Friendly front desk. Was fine for an overnight rest stop.
- 2/5
Property is worn & tired. Right next to freeway - so lots of noise (not property's fault) however air conditioner so loud it almost covers the truck noises on the freeway! Holes in the coverlet, thin blanket and sheets. Fairly clean, but don't get a welcoming feeling when walking into room. If you need a bed - this will do.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, and the room was very clean and in great condition. Hard to imagine anything better for the very reasonable price. I would have appreciated some brewed coffee in the lobby. In-room coffee machines don’t make good coffee and generate disturbing amounts of packaging waste.
- 1/5
The room shows lack of maintenance. Sink faucet not attached to counter so I had to use two hands to use it; no no sink stopper. Furniture in poor condition, couldn't get curtains to completely close, hole in couch upholstery, bedside lamp flashed for a while then went out.
- 4/5
Easy access, well lighted.
- 5/5
Nice place and I will stay there again.
- 4/5
Just doesn’t have a plug for tub but very clean. Is next to freeway but not bad when inside.
- 5/5
Even the bed was comfortable. I will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Good value for the money for overnight stay traveling
- 4/5
It is a comfortable, good size guest room that satisfies the traveller for a night or two.
- 5/5
Easy parking right in front of the room. Easy in and out access for the dog. Older facility but clean and comfortable. Also it felt safe.
- 4/5
I hope the continental breakfast will be restored some time this year.
- 2/5
Stayed here due to power outage, e erything was fine until dog staying next door unleashed attacked my leashed dog
- 3/5
The hotel was right next to the freeway and was very loud. It was very dated and there were stains on the couch.
- 5/5
it was clean, easy to access, affordable
- 5/5
Pretty clean and right next to the freeway for easy travel access.
- 4/5
Our stay was really good, room very clean and the smell was fresh and clean. On the website part of their amenities it listed Continental Breakfast and when we went to get some breakfast in the morning, they informed us they had no continental breakfast since Covid, eve though is still listed on their site.
- 3/5
Very expensive for a run down room, otherwise ok
- 4/5
It was a pleasant stay, good size room for the money.
- 4/5
Very easy to reach right next to the freeway entrance and exit. Room was a good size.
- 4/5
The room was nice and clean. There was some major construction so we couldn't goto the check in lobby and had to use the overnight outside coubter.
- 4/5
This was the perfect dog-friendly location to stay at while traveling Interstate 5. The staff was friendly and efficient. The grounds were well maintained and the room was well appointed and clean.
- 5/5
I left a magnetic money clip with id’s in the room inadvertently. An honest staff called me long distance to help to negotiate a retrieval. These are high quality attributes. Safe lodging is precious.
- 3/5
No pillows on bed, no TV controller.
- 2/5
The hotel lied about continental breakfast and nothing was served, my room was not clean until the morning of my check out when they came knocking on my door for checkout cleaning . Theres a big green flies in the room can you imagine. The air-conditioning system was just making noise i had to turn it off so i can sleep.
- 5/5
Staff was super helpful when I couldn't figure out how to work the air conditioner
- 3/5
Just used as stop over on trip from WA to So. CA. OK for one night stay. Still no breakfast due to covid.
- 4/5
Good price but no continental breakfast as stated.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent the people are friendly..
- 5/5
Pleasant place. Linens and curtains a little dated. Maintenance needs to change the weatherstripping on the door because you can see daylight when the door is closed.
- 4/5
Good linens, pillows; we found the bed frame and mattress less than comfortable.
- 5/5
I like staying here and have in the past multiple times. It's on the outskirts of town so it is perfect for highway commuters but not great for extended stay since there are no real restaurants or grocery nearby
- 4/5
Good value Lacks a few amenities but it seems like they are working on it. Large, clean room. Pet friendly. Easy access to I-5. We got a room upgrade at check-in.
