Our only problem was when it was time to leave per my mistake I thought checkout was noon. About 11:35 a man not sure if management or clean up crew knocked on door immediately said we have to leave now. I said we have until 12. He said rudely no you have to leave now. No are you ok how was your stay. I said we will be right out. He said no you need to leave right now. Or we will charge you again for the room. I was a little in shock with the lack of customer service. To put it clearly we travel all the time for softball and due to this man my family and I will never stay with la Quinta in Wylie again. Very rude and unprofessional. I told him this much.

Our experience staying at this hotel was worst part of our trip. First there was a mix up on our reservations and the “trainee” check in person had no idea what he was doing and unable to help so he called the manager who was not only unwilling to accommodate but was very aggressive on the phone to point that he was yelling. Second the walls are very thin and you can hear the people three rooms down. Third, the pillows were hard as rocks and the best was that the toilet paper holder only had one arm attached to the wall and the other arm was on the shelf. They patched the holes and painted over it so you hand unroll the toilet paper like you’re in jail. If you can find another hotel, stay there!

Location was close to our family The cleanliness, the staff, no extra pillows, rug was cut out near desk, smelled like musty mold. When I requested 2 extra pillows because the pillows were flimsy and gave no support, I was told they had to check. This was 11pm at night I waited for an hour and had to call the front desk only to be told there were no extra pillows in the entire property but what is worse no one called to inform us. When I asked the front desk person he said Brenda told him that she already communicated to us that there were no extra pillows. (She didn’t) and when I asked Trevor for Brenda’s last name so I could follow up the next morning he said he did not know her last name. I find it odd that your fellow employees don’t know each others names. I am sure he would remember her name if I wanted to send a compliment to corporate. In any case I asked him for his name and said it was Trevor Smith. Is that his real name? It is unfortunate that your staff believes it is good customer service to not communicate effectively to your customers when requests are made. These employees need to be retrained. The bathroom had chipped paint and mold in the corner. The first room they gave us had a leak and smelled like mold. We left early due to the horrible treatment and room conditions.

Overall the room needs to be completely remodeled. The shower had cracks that were just glued together. The headboards of the bed was peeling. Even though it's complementary breakfast it's the same thing everyday. The bedsheets had holes and the list goes on and on. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Our room was #302. The headboard was worn and flaking with black flecks of vinyl. We woke up with flecks of black specks in our hair and face. The shower pan either had mold or was badly chipped. I mentioned these items at checkout. The manager apologized but didn't seem genuine. For $150 per night, we expected less deferred maintenance.

Shower heads are dirty and you can see the lime buildup and doesn’t put out full strength of water pressure. The room I had had to fight with front desk to get a properly working tv and the bathroom door took all your strength to get it to open and shut due to dragging on the floor

We had to move rooms first night because the shower head didn’t work. They were also missing a door handle on the bathroom door. Also there was no ledge of any kind in the showers to put your shampoo or soap on. Had to put the bar of soap they gave us on the ground with anything else you needed. A few people were traveling with us also had very low water pressure and shower problems.

This property was very run down. All the furniture was in desperate need of replacing. Strong bleach smell when we arrived. Red flag. Trash all over the room and an empty food container left tucked under our bed with old food still in it. Talked to the GM but he did not offer a discount or refund, he just simply asked if I wanted to stay or not. Would not recommend.

Tthe room we were given had an A/C unit that was broken. It was only blowing out of 2/3 of the capacity as fans inside the machine were broken and the temp wouldn’t go below 72 (on a humid night) when it normally can get to 60 in those rooms. Around 7 pm we contacted the front desk about leaving and getting a refund and they said for us to wait as they were going to send someone out. About 2 hrs later they had someone there and they replaced the entire unit and immediately the room cooled down. This was about 10:30 pm by the time the repair men left. 10:30 pm. $170 for a night where I didn’t get to relax until 10:30 pm. Called the manager the next business day about getting a free night due to the incident and they said “we stayed, so we can’t give you anything.” The issue I have is my wife and I attempted to get a refund and leave earlier in the night and they told us they couldn’t do that yet the manager said that because we stayed, they can’t honor a free night due to the issue we had. This is not ok. They lost a loyal customer from this. Don’t treat your customers like this.

Breakfast spread and variety can be improved. Staff not willing to deliver toiletries to room, insisted we had to pick up from reception. Insects got into room which frightened my wife and I had to spend time catching insects and pacifying.

Rooms were clean and housekeeping was done promptly. In terms of safety, for the most part was pretty safe but the side doors were left unlocked (did not need a key card to enter) for most of the day not sure about night. If I was on the ground floor, I would definitely be a little uncomfortable. Overall, a good affordable stay!

For the most part, the Hotel was quiet and that was appreciated at night. Breakfast was the typical LaQuinta fare. The biggest issue was the bathroom. Not real clean, door would close completely and the sink would barely drain. When sliding the shower door part of the rubber gasket was gone and it would slam against the stop. And the soap dish was completely missing so there was no place to put the soap while showering. Surely this had been noticed before but obviously ignored. The lobby and all was nice but the room was definitely not anything like the photos showed. Wishing I had spent a few dollars extra and tried next door. Won't be doing this one again!

The next day on the 3-26-26 I arrived back at the motel and used the elevator to go to the 4 th floor and there where 3 police in the hallway. What kind of business is this? I will never stay there again and I should get a refund.

You can hear everything happening in the rooms next to you. TV, conversations, you get the idea. Staff was ok, nothing stood out. Beds not very comfortable, a bit hard for me but others might like. It was fine but not up to par with other La Quintas I have stayed at.

I will never stay at this establishment again. It was not a great experience. I had to exchange rooms to get free Internet service only to get to the new room and still not have Internet service. So I had to switch motels which I had already paid for a few days at this motel. So never again thanks.

The room and lobby area was very clean, staff was friendly, shuttle bus drivers were friendly. One of the best La Quinta's I've stayed in. They were able to accommodate me during the ice storm with a late check out. Then flight was cancelled and I had to book for another night and they picked me up from the airport after turning in rental car. Friendly and professional staff. Comfortable beds.

Didn’t feel safe in the room. Dank odor in the room. The door handle needed to be tightened because it was coming loose. Was told it would be fixed or I would be given another room. The clerk went off shift told no one. Had to request it 3 times. It was 1 1/2 hrs before it was fixed. Stay was unpleasant

The stay was one of the worst stays I have traveled to due to an altercation that was brewing in the room next to us. They were having a disagreement and nothing wrong but it was so loud and it sounded like they had a child as well who was crying out of distress. I was concerned because of the child and her well being. I called the front desk to let them know and they did nothing. It continued and I had to call the front desk again they finally came to the door but did not knock or say anything they just stood there listening. I understand these types of things can’t be controlled but the employees should be able to know how to descalate or call the cops especially when a child is involved.

Overall not bad except there was very little water pressure and almost no hot water. I would set a timer with 10 minutes intervals to see when the hot water would be there. With the exception of one time even after 25 minutes there was no hot water.

The water was like warm the whole 5 day stay. The bathroom door got stuck from scrapping on the floor 1/2 way open. It was hard to both close it or open it enough to walk in comfortably. We informed the desk but nothing was done about it.

Found dirty tissues in the bedside table drawer, thermostat was broken (AC worked as it's own unit though), leather headboard was worn down- giving the room a not-so-clean look, and sheets smelled funny. Mostly stayed for a place to sleep and not for the amenities, so did not get to utilize.

When we first got to the reception area to check in the lady had checked me into a room under someone else's name even though I had handed her my DL. When she asked me to sign the paperwork I told her it wasn't my information. Overall our stay wasn't as pleasant as we would of wanted. We had a family event and did not want to be late that's why we didn't ask if we could have been put in a different room.

Toilet ran over, I personally cleaned the floor and disinfected with towels provided. No compensation was offered or even mentioned by manager on duty, who just happen to be THE manager of property. Water pressure so low wife could not wash her hair. Did not offer to change room after fiasco. Had to sleep in that same room. I hope they disinfected and shampooed the carpet of the whole room since we were walking in the over flow and walking past it to carpeted area

The gentleman that checked us into our room was very accommodating. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We were upgraded to a king bed with seating area. There was always someone cleaning in the common areas. The breakfast was well stocked, hot foods were kept hot, and always plenty of coffee. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. Was a great stay and I would book here again.

Glad I brought ear plugs - there was a beeping after we got to bed and the front desk finally figured out it is a fire alarm but it is hard wired and they can’t fix it that night. Offered move us but we were exhausted and it happened only a couple times an hour. Then in the morning the shower door slid off the track and nearly fell. I did not have time to take another room. They could not offer any discount or fix for me so I still paid full price - this was bc I booked thru hotels.com.

8/28-9/1/25 visit. After a 15hr drive, we were early but the mgr Sam said to come back in 1-1/2 and we can check in. We came back 3hrs later and the room was not ready- it was past check in. I asked Sam why he didn’t let the cleaning person know perhaps to skip a room to clean our room. First thing out of Sam‘s mouth was that he can give us a refund and basically we could go elsewhere. Angerly not in the mood, we took the room 106. I took pictures of the condition of the room and expressed severe dissatisfaction. Mgr Sam said again he can give us a refund and can go elsewhere. Room 106 the room wall shared the kitchen area that staff were banging and talking loud @ 6-7am each day. At check out, Mgr Sam did not ask how our stay was, nor said thank you. When I mentioned about the wall ordeal he gave no apologies nor expressed concern. We stayed at this hotel when it was new (2016) to see how poor they treated us, and how the condition of the room was. It’s sad that this hotel is starting on a downward fall. I personally believe it’s because of poor management like Sam. We visit Fam every other year and sadly will no longer stay here.

Was unable to provide receipt that indicated cost of the room. Receipt indicated all zeros. Desk worker was clueless, showed little or no interest in providing the receipt. Have stayed at hundreds of hotels and have been able to get a cost of stay receipt. You just lost a customer.

Our room was not the best, we asked to be moved by the front desk said they were almost booked out, after telling her why we wanted to move she made us feel like we were being a problem. From the headboard being scratched up, to the bottom of the sink being rusted and the shower curtain not being able to stay closed because the bar was falling off the wall. They need to fix this room.

When we arrived on 8/15/25 we were put on the 4th floor. As soon as we got off the elevator, there was a strong smell of weed on the entire floor. Our room was not the cleanest and the carpet and head boards need to be replaced. We left to visit family and return 4 hours later and the weed smell was still there. We decided then to check out. Our stay was scheduled for 3 days and the manager said he had to charge us for one night because we had checked in 4 hours earlier.

When we first checked in we were give a room on the top floor at the end of the hallway. As soon as I opened the door, I could immediately feel heat pouring out as the air conditioner was turned off and absolutely no air was circulating. August in Texas is very hot and this room was unbearable. We turned the AC on, but the room was just not cooling. The man at the front desk was very helpful about putting us into a different room. This room had the AC running upon entry and felt a million times more comfortable. After that little snafu, we had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, the property was quiet, and breakfast was very nice. My only (very minor) complaint is that I wish the pillows were better. They were pretty small and flat, but other than that I would recommend this hotel!

I have been staying at La Quinta since Wednesday, August 6th. I've been extended my stay day-by-day. This morning I went down to extend 1 more day. I was told I have a balance of $11 and some change. When I ask for what, I was told I was charged the wrong amount for last night's stay. I expressed that it was not my fault if the system charged me that. Not only was I quoted that amount, but it was what I was charged. After he spoke with the general manager, he said that it was "simply a mistake" but if I refuse to pay it they will not be extending my stay. It's ridiculous to penalize a customer for a mistake made by their system. I had enjoyed my stay up until today. As a business, you should not penalize the customer for your mistake. Switching the price after paying the quoted price is unacceptable.

The stay overall was good. Rooms need to be cleaned better and the headboards replaced or recovered. Bathrooms need towel hanging bars by sink for hand towels and on wall for bath towels.

The lady at the front desk is very rude and has a stank attitude. Not only does it rank of sewer coming thru the door, I will never stay at this location again for an event.

The room was super smelly. Kind of like how carpet would smell after having water damage. Carpet felt wet and was dirty. Beds were ok. Squished spider on wall. Room looked big in pictures but actually quite small.

Breakfast was terrible, and the staff in the kitchen are not friendly. I went to the breakfast buffet a few minutes before they closed it, and the staff told me that they closed the buffet a few minutes before 9 a.m. and refused to give me food, which is ridiculous.

I changed rooms three times. The sofa beds were awful. They kept breaking down. They should change that issue right away. That's far from a suite. I was promised to be compensated for the inconvenience and that has not happened. I don't think I will be staying there anymore.

I went to hotel and there was no receptionist for about 15 minutes. Then I checked in. Breakfast was really slow and there was no choice at all. I was waiting for pancake change about 10 minutes. And there was only one flavor of yogurt

Clean hotel, clean rooms, everything was orderly. Pool was very well taken care of, beds are they typical hotel beds, just a smudge too hard of a mattress. Staff was friendly. There were no helpful channels list or restaurant lists. Still it was a very pleasant stay.

We walked in to be told by an available associate to sit down and wait for check-in. We waited for quite a while as the other associate finished a phone call. The lobby stank and was noticeably dirty. It seems like the whole hotel stank, was in disrepair and dirty. If we had any other better options in the area we would have taken them.

I liked the king sized bed, the cleanliness of the room, spacious room, the free breakfast was delicious, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room was a plus. However, I didn’t like: how hot the hallways, elevator and lounge was, the a/c made a constant squeaky noise that made it difficult to sleep at times, and the shower door would open at the tiniest movement and would get water all over the bathroom floor. Overall, i rate it 4/5 and I would definitely recommend this to travelers or anyone looking for an overall good quality hotel with free breakfast and good amenities.

From checking in to checking out we fully enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff was very friendly. Our room was great and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great with a great selection of items. Definitely somewhere we will stay again.

While the staff was helpful, the overall condition of the property was aged. Seating fabric worn out, headboards worn where heads touched, pool area furniture broken and unsafe.

it is not spanking new and it shows; holes in headboard, carpet stains, and on the furniture. I don’t know if the freezer works, but nice to have refer and micro. AC works good and plenty of hot water. What hotel has great TV? I’m satisfied only here for 1 night. I could not do 3.

We cannot complain about the cleanliness of the room, it was perfect. However the barking dogs, constant ice machine use and general noise levels from other rooms as well as the noisy air conditioning did not make for a 5 star stay.

We only stayed overnight. The position of the bed was such that you had to sleep next to the AC unit, so it was blowing right at your face or back all night. Breakfast was ok. Overall just ok.

The lobby smelled of heavy floral cleaner. The room was really dark. The headboard was gross. The bed was the best part -- firm & I slept well. Chair was frayed. Desk had stuff spilled on it. Staff was not friendly but got me checked in. Skipped breakfast. Coffee was good.

The rooms are okay. The pool area had trash and cigarette butts everywhere and the furniture was torn and ratty. The breakfast buffet wasn’t anything special. The fire alarm went off at 6:15 am which wasn’t fun.

First of all, we requested a two bedroom they gave us one king size in a lousy couch without sheets when we requested the sheets they told us that we need to make the better self because I didn’t have any stuff

Property needs a Maintenance. The room in which I was the bathroom lock was not working. Shower was very hard and the water flow was not enough. Seriously it needs a lot of Maintenance work.

Very kind and accommodating staff. Clean rooms, breakfast area and whole facility. Included Continental breakfast had many hot, fresh item’s compared to most I have experienced. Very fair price. Overall a great experience! Highly recommended!

No air in room. Complained at counter. They did nothing to correct. Didn't get into room until 9:30 and had family in adjoining room so moving wasn't an option.

Very unhappy!!! The elevators were not working. Per other guests, been non-functional for about 5 days with no explanation. My room was dirty, the sink was leaking water and got all the hand towels soaked. The phone wouldn't work. The front desk girl was not helpful or apologetic at all. Most of all, my reservations were canceled even though I pre-paid in full. I ended up paying again, so I have been doubled charged. Currently, disputing with hotel to resolve with Expedia's help.

There were thin walls, could here people above us and next door to us. The bathroom floor was not level so you had to aggressively push the bathroom door to open or close it. The hallway had an odd odor. Breakfast was nice though!

The property,hotel room and surrounding area were not bad. Honestly, is pretty decent. But, with the 2nd day we stayed there the elevator was broken and our room is in 4th floor! We have to go back and forth using stair untill our last day. Carried our luggage down the stairs from 4th floor! They didn't say anything apologetic at all! Terrible! Their excuse was they need to wait for a part to be shipped to fix it? Really? The breakfast items was super mediocre too.

The rooms are showing age from previous stays. Forgot how noisy it is because of thin walls. The one breakfast didn't have any food except to make waffles at 8:30AM- was to last until 9AM. The kitchen lady had left and turned out the lights- she did come back at 8:45AM and started to refill all items- but many people had left seeing no food. The shower had been damaged, and the fix was to caulk it vs replace the panel. The microwave wasn't plugged in for use in the room. Overall just OK stay.

One night stay was very poor. I Lee could not sleep well bc of the noise in the hall . I slept only 1 hr , in addition , also we could hear noises in the bathroom by the small refrigerator. I was scared thinking something was trying to open on our door , bc it felt that way. I was spectong a good night sleep . I still wonde why I heard noise in the bedroom . The light bulb of the lamp that was on my side was not working . I wondered if a ghost was in that room . Management should hav it checked . The receptionist that assisted us at check in at 4:40 pm - was not friendly as all . It felt like she was rushed and bothered by my questions . Not going back to that location .
