Best Western Plus Yakima Hotel

Our room was clean however, the king size mattress needs to be replaced as it bowed in the middle.

The hotel was great. Super clean and new pool 88 degrees and hot tub 101. Breakfast had everything you could want and was good . Our king bedroom was great.

Very friendly staff. The room just smelled weird.

One side of the bed was comfortable one side was not. They were out of almost everything for breakfast. Did not like the way the door opens into the toilet and that the sink is not in the bathroom.

Everything was as expected to be for a Hotel stay. Breakfast was on point for those on a budget as well. So what needs to be addressed as I booked my stay and paid for the room through booking.com but for a Local Hotel in my area, the Hotel has a "DO NOT RENT TO" list. This list is of cities near my City. This LIST is not brought to attention on this site as I even paid for the room in advance ? Luckily my DL was a different city or there would've been a problem. Not a good thing for someone who has booked, paid, and traveled to check in to be told this. NEEDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION I SO THINK.

I had to book an additional night last minute and got a different room that was handicap accessible, and it was not nearly as nice as the room I had stayed in prior. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and it was noisy every-time I moved and it just overall didn’t feel as welcoming and cozy as my previous room on the third floor. As well as the vending machines being right outside my door. Still a great hotel just not as great as an experience as prior nights

The breakfast buffet had many different options, and we appreciated that the staff was constantly filling items instead of having to ask for a missing item as with other hotels.

The room was extremely small. Not at all what was advertised. It was also situated next to the elevator so was noisy early in mornings.

The breakfast had a nice selection. The room was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. I had a very relaxing time. The only thing that could have been better was that the bath tub was stained, which made it look dirty.

Perfectly suited my needs for a convenient place to sleep. The breakfast smelled delicious, but I don't eat until noon, so I can only go on the smell. I loved that the bed had a whole bunch of pillows. The room had ample room for me to lay out my clothes for my event. Convenient location, lots of free parking, nice staff. I could hear everything outside my door. Cleaning staff knocked loudly down the hall at 9 a.m. and other guests were very loud in the hall. My view from room 313 was pretty rough, but I didn't book the room for the view, so it wasn't a deal-breaker.

The staff is beyond sweet, entire hotel very clean (including parking lot), breakfast is really delicious and in a decently convenient area. Great place for couples and families!

The complimentary breakfast and Indoor pool was the primary reason for us picking this hotel. Breakfast was pretty good. We knew the pool was going to be the main entertainment for our kids while here and we didn’t want to risk weather preventing us from swimming. The pool was a decent temperature and for the most part was great for the kids, but one day there was several clumps of hair in it and the hot tub wreaked/smelled really weird the whole time. So many things were broken. Our key cards stopped working almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day. The entry/exit doors around the hotel key entry did not work so the main entry is the only entry point that would work. The room’s coffee maker didn’t work. The vending machine constantly ate our money. The breakfast room’s “fancy” coffee maker was diluted and super nasty. The hot water in the shower kept reducing even during a quick rinse after the pool. Location is pretty sketchy and in an area with quite a few homeless people.

Staff was nice The springs in sofa bed my kids couldn’t even sleep on it, they had no extra roll out beds, no pillows or blankets, there was no water pressure for the shower, was switched rooms due to this and the next room the ac didn’t work, and the shower still sucked.

location, facilities, pet friendly area outside. the only thing I didn't like was the Room Service Order contracted out. A big laminated placemat sized ad was in the room. I used it. they took my order but canceled it without telling me. Ultimately I called after about 2 hrs., which was when I found out. I do not recommend keeping that advertisement in the room. I still don't have my refund.

The room was clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the family enjoyed the variety of breakfast items, thank you for an enjoyable stay!

overall very happy, we stay here every August and December while my daughter is at the WLEEA academy on the base. Beds great, breakfast good, location good, pool and hot tub great. Only complaint is they never allow us to check in even a few minutes early. We have to wait, or pay extra. Since we know this, we plan accordingly.

Everything was clean and the staff was great, but when I went down for breakfast at 7:40 everything was empty except for sausages. I stood there for 5 minutes and nothing was refilled so I left and had to go buy breakfast.

The front desk staff was fantastic, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was good every morning, my only suggestion would be to replace the door to the bathroom, it was old and damaged on the bottom like a dog had chewed on it. Otherwise, everything met our needs, and we would stay again.

Very clean...it's perfect location during tournaments and has a great selection of breakfast for kids so early in morning before a long day of games. The pool is always a plus the night before.

The mattress was a bit sketchy sounding but turned out to be really comfortable. Would stay again!

The staff are above average in hospitality and customer service. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the amenities are well above expectation and price point.Pool is big and breakfast menu was extensive. Do Gia is a stand-out. We were looking for a place to stay overnight during a road trip so it was what we needed. The area is a bit sketchy, but we did see that the staff does do routine checks around the property, which is put our mind at ease about leaving our parked car. We’re traveling through town again, we will stay here in a heartbeat!

the only thing that was not good was the Hot Tub. The jets did not work and the water was green either from the jets nit mixing up the chlorine or algae. I asked the front desk person and she tried the timer with no success she did ake the temp and informed me it was at the correct temp per regulations. The pool was clear and inviting but not as whay i wanted or needed after a long day. one of the reasons I chose this hotel was because of the Whirlpool /Hot Tub. very disappointed it was not as advertised

The front desk worker was so friendly and welcoming. Offered extra bottled water when he knew we needed it. Advised us of where to have dinner.

Pretty convenient place to stay, no complaints

The front desk man was so helpful and nice. He came and tried to fix both the beds in our room which when we layed down on them they collapsed. He felt so bad that he couldn’t offer us another room but they were booked solid. He fixed them enough that we could lay on one side of each bed.

The staff was very friendly and actually wanted to help guests. And their breakfast was amazing. The only other hotel I been to that had breakfast that big was in Florida . Just make sure you stay inside at night because there is a lot of wandering people outside at night.

I liked how friendly the employees were and the options they had for breakfast. What I didn’t like was the original room I stayed in had stains in the bath tub and the shower head was broken.

Place was fine, nothing to complain about. Yakima in itself is a bit of a hole. Sorry if you’re from there. Homeless camps just down the road and the like, but the hotel itself felt safe enough.

But not enough staff to take care of problems to busy for one person and they don’t tell you about signings form for a service animal except to say they saw you on camera and try to charge you till they realize the are ESA animals with paperwork Amd try to charge you. And give you a accessible room that you request for a walk in shower because you have someone in a wheelchair and they need a walk in shower not a bath tub shower combination where the sitting bench is to short and the legs don’t adjust in height and are told there are no rooms that are available with a bench style to sit on.and find out there are rooms in the building that have bench seat showers and the website shows them. and the pictures that say walk in showers show bath tub combos ??? What really? And kids running up and down the halls .

The whole experience was great, from check in to departure. I want to point out one employee that was above what I would expect,his name was Tony, unfortunatly I did not get his last name, but he went above and beyond in his service.

Worked well for an overnight stay while traveling, staff extremely helpful in giving us an equal alternate room due to chirping fire alarm that could not be corrected. Excellent breakfast! Just a bit more of a drive for dinner than expected - we made it work though:) Noticeable homeless population within a few blocks but no concerns with safety at the property.

I liked how close it was off of the exit. The pool was one of the reasons we chose this hotel but because it was having maintenance done we were given a voucher to swim at a nearby hotel.

Smelled like a old hotel. We could hear everyone, upstairs, downstairs, in the bathroom and maids hitting on doors. Hot Tub & pool looks dirty. Not enough towels and we had to ask for extra, which we only got 2, after giving them the 2 that was in the room. Food was locked up right at 9:55 am. The surroundings outside is a bit sketchy. The only thing I gave it 2 stars for was the bed. It was comfy.

The staff was insanely helpful! They even had an issue with a third party vendor, and they were calm, helpful and professional. I appreciated every interaction I had with staff.

It’s fine except it’s at the end of town where all the drug addicts are hanging out. Literally lining the sidewalks. It’s pretty far from all the restaurants and shopping. Only chose this place for the indoor pool and it’s closed for renovation.

It was nice perfect for a small family with a king bed, and a pull-out sofa bed the only complaint I have was the king bed mattress definitely needs to be replaced there was a horrible lump in it but for the price that's a small complaint excellent service the breakfast was unexpectedly very good definitely worth the price be fair warned the area is definitely not the nicest lock your doors

We had booked online through Expedia when we went to go check in they told us that they do not rent rooms to locals. It would’ve been nice if that was on the website so we’re out of $126 and they couldn’t switch hotels to the other one that was in Union gap

The hotel is right off of the highway. It is clean, comfortable, indoor pool, and overall a very nice hotel. Just stay at the hotel and do not go for a walk. Just a few minutes driving past the hotel First Street is a dump and seemed very unsafe. I have heard police patrol the area especially by the hotel so I think it's still safe to stay there just don't explore outside the hotel. Sadly most places in Yakima is not a very nice, but I think they still have a mix of a good crowd of people in the town.

Right off the Freeway. Great accommodations, just not the best location to stay in Yakima.

Loved the pool & hot tub, plus the 24 hr availability of both! Slept well, awoke refreshed and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

I just noticed that every time I have been booking with Expedia best western has been charging me also. So I have been paying double every time. I will be contacting someone about this. I doubt I will ever stay with best western.

BWP is my favorite to stay at. The comfort is above every other hotel at the price point offered. I would definitely recommend this particular location or any BWP!

Clean room and quiet. Breakfast was included and good. They have a coffee machine that makes decent cappuccino.

THE GOOD: is located right off the highway so it’s super easy to find. You get a really nice breakfast. The staff is always friendly and they are super hospitable. The indoor pool and hot tub was nice for the kids. The rooms were clean (except for the wine smell in the room my friend had). The beds were comfy and it was honestly a decent place to stay. I was expecting a lot worse due to its location.

Hotel is aging.

The housekeeper that cleaned the room on the day for our stay, did a phenomenal job. Corners everywhere where even clean. Did our usual wipe down before settling in and the wipe was still white clean!!!!!

We enjoyed the pool/hot tub. The breakfast was great. We stayed 2 days. The 2nd day the key card did not work and I had to go back to front desk to have fixed. One of the cards still did not work.

Just few negative comments. However, it was a great stay overall. We arrived late at night and there were few big vehicles parked in the hotel parking lot so there was no parking spot. Had to park around entrance area which made me worry that other car might run into the car so woke up early in the morning and moved the car to the opened parking spot. Also, we got the room on the end room on the second floor, people who is next door decided to take a shower around 4am or 5? In the morning and the shower sounded like as if someone taking a shower in our room. Water sound was so loud and woke us up. Other than that, everytging was clean and staffs were nice. Overall, it was a great place to stay. The hot tub and swimming pool was great as well. The pool was so nice and warm. Kids enjoyed swimming.

I only stay at the Best Western when I’m in Yakima! Stayed there about six times so far however, this last time the bed was not comfortable… It’s probably my bad back. See you again soon.
