Some guests also experienced issues with the breakfast and certain amenities in the room.

I got lucky and was placed in one of the renovated bedrooms. New carpets and paint, but it looks really nice and clean. Breakfast was better than expected, but do not think is anything spectacular. I was told by locals that the area where the hotel is located is pretty bad when it comes to security but we did not had any problems. The hotel is under renovation but it was just a minor inconvenience.

The room was excellent, no complaints. They were tearing up the carpet and replacing it in the hallway so it was a bit difficult to get in through the side door closest to my room. I didn’t know the area when I booked the hotel but there was a lot of homeless people hanging around outside and I decided to park my car right in front of the office. I was only there for a night and everything was fine. There was absolutely nowhere no grass for my dogs to do their business. That in itself will not have me returning to this location. I did not feel comfortable, walking out along the side streets behind the hotel.
- 5/5
Breakfast was the standard hotel fare, but it was hot and fresh.
- 5/5
Spacious room, well equipped. Very good breakfast with hot cooked options as well as motel breakfast standards. Easy access to highway but not too close. The down side to this property is there is no elevator and we are elderly, but if you call the morning of your check-in day, you can request a ground floor room. We did not try the outdoor pool. Single washer & dryer available. We stay here every year, very comfortable, good value.

The motel is being remodeled. The room was nice and updated. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was not good at all. We had an unwanted and unexpected bug. Where there one there are more.

Very clean the upgrades were beautiful. Even the shower didn't get all steamy so you couldn't see your mirror. I felt it was a great value and the staff was very friendly There was nothing that I did not like. And that's what was amazing to me. It's not like the old Days Inn. I was very pleased

El desayuno Rico, el hotel en reparacion y nos toco en piso en reparacion.
- 1/5
That place is horrible
- 2/5
This hotel is a half way house. Has recovering addicts living there. Which i don't have a problem with but, it should say so when looking into the property. There were many homeless people around. Cops were watching drug deals go on across the street. Very sketchy neighborhood.
- 2/5
Breakfast was sub par. The lobby and rooms had a really off putting smell. Blankets were not warm. Recommended we park where we could see our car.
- 3/5
The elevator certificate is out of date, it DESPERATELY needs servicing!!! It malfunctioned twiced. The emergency alarm came on, the brakes made a screeching noise and it landed so hard it hurt my legs and spine, the second time was the same but my spouse was with me and we both looked at each other and decided to switch hotels. The continental breakfast is okay, I have food allergies with the worst being wheat (not gluten) and so do my kids (it's genetic) so it was very limited for options but there was yogurt, eggs, fruit and a protein option each day. Hotel staff for check in, check out were very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
I kept looking out the window to make sure my car wasn’t being broken into. There were homeless roaming around near the property and a dude was roaring like a howler monkey behind the hotel. Wouldn’t stay in that area again.
- 1/5
When we arrived, the front desk said they had started renovations a week earlier, so it’s very unprofessional to inform a guest only on the day of arrival. Also, the room was very noisy, with constant noise from the second floor above us. Very disappointing experience
- 5/5
Wonderful! Clean, kind and just a great experience
- 4/5
Front desk staff were very helpful. It's under construction so the condition is understandable
- 3/5
Ok hotel, won’t stay again
- 4/5
Area is pretty run down. Hotel is nice beds are comfy although the blankets were rough and itchy. Great price for a comfortable stay.
- 3/5
Room was clean and staff was friendly but, they were remodeling righr outside my foom and never once did they offer any kind of compensation specially when it was at 6:00 in the morning. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 5/5
Room was nice and breakfast was pretty good!
- 5/5
Best breakfast ever at a Wyndham!!!
- 3/5
The room was decent, expected for the price. I stayed there because I was traveling with my dog, but there wasn't an area for him to go the bathroom outside and there were dog feces everywhere on the cement!!
- 2/5
I wasn't able to stay, I was able to come up with the deposit and it was to late to try and cancel it,, I lost out on money I really badly needed,
- 5/5
Very nice and clean. Had a very comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff were Amazing, and breakfast was awesome! Thank you Days Inn.
- 4/5
My room was nice and clean, good furniture, large TV, enough pillows
- 4/5
Everything was clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was delicious!

In a sketchy area with lots of people hanging around across the streets being loud until late.

- 5/5
Clean hotel, great customer service, breakfast better than most.
- 5/5
The only problem was broken glass in our parking space. We told the front desk and maintenance was to clean. They did not.
- 4/5
Lots of homeless people in the area but we had no issues. Beds are slightly higher than we like but then again other places we stay in have been the same. Bed is firm like we like.
- 5/5
Clean and nice
- 5/5
Inexpensive, rooms nice, but neighborhood is a bit sketchy
- 4/5
It was a nice stay though. Thank you M. Lane
- 5/5
The staff were very welcoming and professional and the room was excellent. Breakfast was complete and staff was very helpful. The area surrounding the hotel was rundown but that is not the fault of the hotel in any way.
- 5/5
very friendly.
- 5/5
Property always clean inside, friendly staff and an over all restful stay
- 4/5
The T.V. Control Was Dirty!
- 5/5
Very clean, quiet, great pool. Check in staff very pleasant. Nice room with great bed. Great place for the price.
- 4/5
Parking lot is like unsecure.
- 2/5
Staff is excellent, property and surrounding area less so.
- 3/5
Now theres nothing wrong with transients, only the trash left behind which then blows all over giving the area a very dirty appearance.
- 4/5
The hotel is good value for money, and the location is quite convenient.
- 1/5
Staff was out of line!
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly! Was a great stay!
- 4/5
Last minute booking since rain killed our family camping trip. Needed something affordable and for the price it was great for us! A little dated and no frills, but the pool was great and staff was very attentive and helpful! Homeless population nearby is a little disconcerting but overall we felt safe.
- 2/5
Breakfast was good but it has no elevator and we had to haul all our stuff up to next floor were in our seventies! Bed was uncomfortable and A/C worked but was God awful noisey - noisey outside hotel - Seemed like not a safe area
- 5/5
It was a nice quiet night. Did not have any issues.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Overnight stay. Easy check in, nice staff, room was clean, quiet and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Very good breakfast, large and comfortable room. Had an issue with an employee during check-in but when i spoke with the manager the next day, she took my concern seriously, was not defensive at all, and agreed to work with the employee to avoid similar problems going forward.
- 4/5
Great place but the fear of being robbed is very much there. The hotel and its area was safe and we weren't burglarized.
- 5/5
Nice, clean, affordable prices. Decent breakfast options. Area around the property seemed a little shady. Lots of homeless/transients that hang outside an abandoned property next door. I will say, they seem to run a tight ship here, as I saw hotel walking through the parking lot checking up on things throughout the night. If you're on a budget and staying in the area, this is a nice option.
- 4/5
Lots of homeless people sleeping on the streets nearby.
- 4/5
Well kept pool.
- 4/5
Great staff …clean
- 5/5
We were a little worried about the neighborhood but do know that the night shift does a walk around every 45 minutes.
- 3/5
Nice hotel, easy parking clean room decent breakfast but the staff at night on front desk super slow and talk too much un necessary. There was no issues with my reservation but still take like 20min and other guests behind me was angry
- 5/5
The front desk staff was awesome, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was great with waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, breads and cereals. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice, cool, clean, and comfortable. The price was great for everything we enjoyed! I would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
had hot and cold food options. Not so good: Our room was on the roadside and was fairly noisy. The room was a little worn but still comfortable. A good amount of homeless and police activity nearby.
- 3/5
It was an okay place to stay the night. Sounds like Yakima is trying to clean up the area. We would most likely find another hotel in the area to stay unless the area is cleaned up.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was lovely and very thorough
- 5/5
The pool was amazing
- 2/5
Upon checking in we asked about the laundry. The lady told us we cannot use the laundry until 10 am the next day. We desperately needed to use the laundry due to multiple kiddos and all, and we needed to check out 9 am the next day. We had to charge our future plans due to laundry issue, only to find out upon checking out that washer/dryer has been there available to use all this time. So there you have it, awful customer service. Not to mention the bad smell everywhere. Will never return.
- 3/5
There was a smell in the room but we where next to the pool so that could have been the smell.
- 5/5
Good service. Will come back again
- 5/5
Very clean room and a good bed. The area around the hotel was very sketchy
- 5/5
The breakfast was pretty good, except for Fox News being on the TV! Yuck!
- 1/5
I arrived and found numerous people hanging around up and down the street. I witnessed a drug deal taking place as soon as I arrived. I could not leave my motorcycle in the parking lot overnight for worry of it being stolen or my gear stolen while on my road trip. The hotel would not give me a refund so I went on my way. I cannot recommend staying here in good faith.
- 4/5
The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot breakfast.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. The room was clean. Everything we needed for our stay.
- 5/5
The morning breakfast was great. Good location, convenient to shops.
- 4/5
The property was nice and they had a great breakfast selection. The location was extremely sketchy. The pool should have a heater so that you can enjoy it at night.
- 5/5
The neighborhood was kind of sketchy. Glad for night patrols.
- 4/5
The area isn't the greatest as there are many homeless people wandering around, but we did not have any problems with them. The beds are comfortable and rooms are decent. The breakfast is wonderful with many hot items, cereal and breads, plus coffee. Will stay here again.
- 2/5
Good checkin service. However, the room smelled to cigarette.
- 2/5
Had clogged sink. Called to front desk who said will be up in 15 min. After an hour called again again told 15 min. After 2 1/2 hours were told they would change rooms, but kids were already in bed. Offered to plunge it myself, but was told they didn’t have a plunger that worked. Not happy.
- 4/5
The only negative was the bathroom had a high tub I was not able to get in due to mobility issues with my legs. I was not able to get in & take a shower.
- 5/5
Large, comfortable, clean room with all we needed for a pleasant stay. We are elderly and there is no elevator but we got a ground floor room by phoning early on the day of check in day to request one. Breakfast ends at 9 am but is about as good as it gets for a free motel breakfast with waffles, scrambled eggs, home fries, sausages plus cold options.
- 4/5
Clean and easy to get to. Fast checkin. Receptionist was very polite and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed. Very pleasant and cheerful. She is a gem in the rough. You don’t find this kind of service everyday.

We ended up not staying because we didn't feel like it would be safe to leave our vehicle in the lot.
- 5/5
Kristina was very pleasant, went out of her way to make sure the room was up to her high standards. Room was very nice and beds very comfortable.
- 5/5
I have stayed at other Days Inn hotels in other cities. This one, in Yakima, far exceeded my expectations based on past experiences (which weren't bad, but not as great as this location). I arrived to check in shortly after 3 PM. The room was not quite ready for occupancy but I explained that as soon as I was checked in I had to head over to the Convention Center for several hours. The desk clerk was extremely pleasant and most accommodating. When I returned several hours later I found the room to be in perfect order and even smelled clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning had an excellent variety and was fresh and hot. The dining area was spotless. Check out was quick and easy and, again, the gentleman who checked me out was friendly and efficient. I couldn't be more pleased with this stay and the next time I have a reason to spend the night in Yakima, this is where I'll go.
- 2/5
The property should be sold or have the squatters removed from the area. Cant walk around the area without protection
- 5/5
King suite with kitchen was very large a well equipped.
- 5/5
There maybe be homeless but that is for anyplace you go to. Love the hotel its quite and safe and across is waffle cafe well be returning love the hotel
- 5/5
Girl at front desk was awesome
- 5/5
Personnel all friendly
- 4/5
The property and staff were great. The homeless people digging in dumpsters and asking for money when you went outside was not great
- 5/5
Hotel is clean , rooms been clean up every day
- 2/5
Area not so great but your average dated days in hotel. Good for price in area.
- 1/5
Located in a terrible part of town. Next to homeless mission. No restaurants in walking distance

The guest service was good
- 5/5
Friendly staff at check in.

Great place for a good price. Slight odd smell but not impossible to ignore. Employees were great, breakfast options were great and the space felt “homey”. Would stay again!
- 5/5

One of our children is disabled and the other is an injured toddler who got sick suddenly after the severe injury. When we explained everything the only response we got was “yea I hear you” and we asked to speak to the manager we were told we’d have to wait 72 hours for a Response. This was a terrible experience form a hotel chain I have recently been using often. Our room also had items still in it from our previous stay when we returned a couple days later and the room was said to have been cleaned. I don’t know if we will continue using this chains hotels
- 1/5
Most of the staff were respectful except for Hailey, she is rude, has an attitude and definitely needs a course in customer service. If Hailey is there avoid this establishment
- 5/5
Third visit, continues to please. One of nicer Days Inn establishments. At least for non-family travelers - - warm weather pool area looks depressing.
- 5/5
Staff were super friendly and very helpful.
- 1/5
Took my deposit for a stain that was already in the sheet was to tired to say anything nd by morning forgot they kept my 100$ for a sheet and it's not the first time they done it
- 4/5
No hot water late at night. Otherwise it’s good for the price.

They need bigger towels!
- 5/5
was great! friendly staff , great comfortable room, decent wifi, great breakfast with waffles (vegan options!)
- 5/5
It was ok
- 5/5
The staff here are all very good. We stay here often on our trips to Yakima. We tried a couple other motels. We end up coming back here. We will be back again next October.

Unsafe feeling around property

busy parking lot thru the night Comfy beds though Wouldn’t recommend
- 5/5
It was really good. Great customer service! Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was extremely kind. Greeted me by name and knew me on arrival and check in was very timely. Let me know about local dining options, places to explore, and have information in an educational, but not overbearing by way.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Everything here was top notch, especially the management. The manager really goes out of her way to make you feel welcome.
- 3/5
The women who worked the front desk was very nice and did her job well
- 5/5
Easy quick check in and very quiet
- 2/5
The clerk who checked me in was great! I'm grateful she asked if I was able to walk up stairs or if I needed a room on the first floor, because I wouldn't have been able to walk up the stairs. The motel is located on a busy street and across from a gas station. When I checked in, there was a group of men standing around and I thought they were day laborers, but after dark there were a couple more groups of men loitering. I decided to order delivery for dinner rather than risk having to park on the street when I got back, because it didn't feel safe. The room was a lot smaller and dingier than I expected from the photos - the walls and the headboard had stains on them. The A/C was off when I arrived so the room was hot, and it smelled strange. The smell never went away.
- 3/5
Average hotel room to stay in. You get what you pay for. Downtown and restaurants are close.
- 2/5
This area of town was so sketchy. We worried all night that our car would be gone by morning
- 1/5
Nothing. Checked in left 5 mins later. Stupid me for not reading reviews. Dirty smelly and not safe for kids.

The property was very easy ro find as I was new to the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had all the conveniences. The room was very nice and clean and very reasonably priced.
