Right now it's just a small trip hazard but it could get worse. I'm sure they're working on fixing it so as we go to this motel quite often, usually a couple times to four times a year. The price is great

We stayed for two nights and were happy with the suite and a/c temperature. The pool area and jacuzzi is a nice size and clear water. The breakfast was a surprise and amazing ! Best Western Mall is my go to place and I have been telling friends to stay when going to Alcadonez Mexico for dental work. Best of it was very quiet while I was recovering.

We saw people enjoying the pool. You will be happy with this hotelwhich is located right near a movie theater, shopping mall and Sam’s Club.

I liked the cleaness of rooms. But I feel Ac was too quiet and not enough cold.. we love to feel Ac very cold. And some kind of noise to it. But it's just us being picky. Other than that good stay.

The front dest staff was great. She got us into our room early. My husband had surgery that morning. I knew he would not make it until 3:00. Staff got us in at 1:30. What we did not like was the long walk from parking to the room. We were right behind tennis court. In my opinion the court could be removed to allow closer parking to the room. There are also a lot of stairs in the complex. Staff gave us a downstairs room but had to use stairs to have breakfast and get ice.

Front desk girls are rude and hateful!

This place is falling apart. Clearly the hotel owners refuse to upkeep basic aspects of this hotel. I had to fix the toilet.

Great stop point for the rest and reset of a long road trip! Breakfast was a great addition!

The people were very nice. Front desk 5 out of 5. We couldn’t get into our room. Because I had in my hand the card keys and my phone. The magnet on my phone erased the keys. Anyway the maintenance worker saw we were having trouble. He called the front desk verified us then he walked up to the office and had our keys reprogrammed and brought them back to us. These people are awesome. I will definitely stay here again!!!! 10 out of 10 on customer service very nice people. Thank you. Nothing I mean it’s aging but the price is right.

Our stay was great, the property was clean and quiet we slept great on our pillow top mattress after a long drive it was perfect. The staff was very friendly at the desk. The next day in the morning we had breakfast Claudia greeted us with such a welcoming Good Morning! She made us feel like we were friends she was awesome with everyone that came in very attentive. That made such a great experience for all of us coming from such a long distance. I highly recommend you to stay here.

HOWEVER, Chris, Up until Thursday , May14, I considered BW Yuma Palms my home away from home! I live in Baja and go to Yuma a couple times a month for medical treatment.I don’t know if I will ever go back now!May14,Thursday when I arrived to check in,after a surgical procedure, I was Blown Away by the HORRIBLE treatment/reception I received !!!The 2 females in the office verbally attacked me! This is how it went: I arrived approx 5:30/6pm. Checked in fairly smoothe as always.Got to my room and had no bath tub . was a handicap room, which is normally no problem . I’m not handicapped but no big deal shower is fine. But after the type of surgery I had I really needed a tub! I called the front desk, same girl answered. I said : could I please move to a room w/ tub? And !explained why ! She says that’s the room you booked and NO! I can’t do that. I explained I accidentally had booked that room, not realizing it only had a shower! She hung upon me! I called back: “ why did you hang up on me!!? She hung up again!drove to front desk, she was on the phone..waiting for her to finish her call,other girl came in from the back, gave me a dirty stare ! Finally I said: could I move to a different room please and told her why. They both started attacking!I calledmgr! She moved me next door!

A/c was stuck at 78. Slept pretty horribly. We didn’t ask the front desk so bad partly on us.

We had neighbors who watched TV constantly, which we could hear even near midnight. The walls should be soundproofed.

We had some issues with the internet but the staff promptly came to our room to help us.

Room was basic, but clean. Bed was comfortable, bath, air conditioning, refrigerator and microwave were all functional. Self-serve breakfast options were plentiful with fresh fruit offered. Breakfast staff were attentive and personable. Front desk staff were disinterested, but perfunctory. Room phone was inoperable so unable to call desk for problems. Internet was available only by contacting outside tech service to set connection for personal device. That information was provided only by request after check-in. Front desk staff was uninterested, or unable, in assisting. Tech assistance was challenging, dependent on whomever was answering. Room was somewhat dilapidated. Other than fruit and milk at breakfast, food quality was industrial.

I could not get the tub faucet pulled to the out position and I saw a maintenance man while walking to the office to get help. He was able to get it pulled out and I was able to do it after that. I don't think a little old lady could ever do it.

The location was perfect! Staff was great - friendly and informative. Room was clean and comfortable. The room could use some updating - there was a broken lamp and the blackout curtains could be a little longer. Other than that, it was fine.

The food and amenities were good. Room was very nive and bed was comfortable. My only issue was all of the stairs. It was like a maze!

Staff was friendly, accommodations were poor. Hotel room was dark, location in need of renovation, gnats were everywhere. My family and I left didn’t stay one night, didn’t ask to be refunded just wanted to leave.

Hot tub had dirt in it, moderately warm, but not really hot. Beds were decent, kind of wobbly, but comfortable. Pool towels didn't stay stocked. Great location, close to lots of stores and restaurants.

Wasnt sure about this place with the exterior pictues, but this place was nice! Excellent room, great staff, excellent breakfast with cooks freshly cooking breakfast! Would recommend, dont let the exterior fool you!

The reception was very good, but the housekeeping staff were somewhat unpleasant. We arrived at the restaurant five minutes before 10:00, and they refused to serve us. I will not stay at your hotel again.

Didn't have the type of room I needed because I was having surgery. Refused a refund so I could get a proper accommodation elsewhere. Room phone didn't work. Plug outlets didn't work. Room keys stopped working after a day.

This place is not elderly friendly. Too spread out. The light switches in the bathrooms were located inside the room instead of at the entrance. Not convenient. Staff was accommodating and nice. Area was clean.

The staff is super helpful and the room seemed to have a minor upgrade, but the window is loose and kept rattling through my entire day, the pool looked extremely dirty, and the happy hour was okay. The AC was mediocre, I had to put it down to 63° in order to sleep, and there were fruit flies in my room during the entire stay. I would give this a two, but I’m writing it at three because the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. for the price, I definitely would have picked some of the newer hotels close by.

My room was clean but pillows were substandard. Being next to parking was loud and inconvenient to bring luggage in because of uneven ground. Garbage truck was by before 6 am so I was awakened. Hot tub was discolored by minerals and not appealing. Pool was not heated as stated. Breakfast was very good and enjoyed happy hour.

The area at the back of the property was not very clean. There was dog poop all over the grass and discarded old furniture, BBQ grill etc., in the tennis court. The windows in the room were drafty and you could hear every single sound from outside. The internet went out in our room and they did send someone to fix it right away. The staff was nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable. There were lots of dining options nearby.

The breakfast was the best part of this hotel. Very friendly attentive staff well equiped and supplied with ample choices. Our room was not cleaned for the 6 nihhts we were there. Would only drop off fresh towels and coffee when asked. If I didn't like an answer the front desk gave me i could just come back when a different person was there and get a totally different answer. Last time we stayed here the Happy Hour(which is a grest perk) gave everyone 2 free drinks and there were appetizers for free. This time we were told after the first drink that because there was 2 of us in the room we would have to pay for a second drink, even though it clearly states 2 free drinks per person. Also the free appetizers were now a menu to be paid for. Apparently Covid did a number on this place. Its not the cheapest in town but i thought by raising their rates that the service would be maintained. In need of a najor renovation.

We stayed three nights, the room was clean when we got there, but no cleaning or linen change. We called for clean towels they brought 2, no hand towels. Breakfast was down 3 flights of stairs so being handicapped unable to get to it. No handicapped friendly.

Parking wasn’t great

Our first room was dirty, noisy and felt unsafe where we were located at the far back of the building. We were moved the next day to a different room which was better. The breakfast is always good here. The pool appeared to look dirty so we didn’t use it.

This Best Western will be my official hotel for my stay overs in Yuma. My room was perfect and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. Scrambled eggs with cheese with a healthy serving of sausage links. Staff was so friendly

Old property

I had entered the office to check in and the lady behind the desk sighed and rolled her eyes then proceeded to help me. Unfortunately our first room had dirt in the shower tub and I have a picture for proof. Then we went to the office to notify the front desk about the problem and he basically tried to shrug it off. But then he switched our room, and again something was wrong. The key didn’t work majority of the time and we finally caved to get a new key. We will not be staying here again.

We did not stay, the room was was called "an upgrade" dirty, old and neglected, freezer jammed full of undefrosted ice, bathtub rusty, painted and peeling, filthy corners, bad smell, ancient gross couch and the staff gave us another room which was just as bad with foam sticking out of the couch cushions full of hair. We had to leave the hotel and book at a different hotel for the night. DO NOT GO HERE SO

When I checked in and asked some questions about the neighborhood and a place to eat , the woman who checked me in seemed distracted and disconnected . My phone in my room did not work as I wanted to call the front desk . No garbage can in the bathroom . The bed was very comfortable! B ding and towels were great . One front desk was very helpful in getting my internet set up . He was friendly and terrific .

I stayed here for a baseball tournament. It was a short drive to/from the fields, it was clean, good breakfast and friendly staff. I liked it. I would stay here again.

The restaurant on site is closed. That is why I booked here for the restaurant. When there are 2 people in room please have 2 chairs. One person has to sit on bed very uncomfortable. I won't book here again.

The room was HOT! No fans available for our room. Yuma winters are not cold. You don't need a jacket. The rooms get hot it would be nice to provide a fan. Lego land in California in December was warm. We asked for a fan and they provided one. We were looking forward to spending time in the room. Sadly it was hot!

The question was how was the check in & check in was fine. The room had a few cleanliness issues. There was grout debris around the frame work of the bathroom door & floor. There was also footprints of debris leaving the worked area on to the carpet which could have been vacuumed up or swept up?

The staff is always friendly. They knew we had a dog and made sure to put us in the most convenient room to make our stay more comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and they were constantly cleaning and making sure everything was fresh made.

We were traveling with our well-behaved and perfectly house trained dog. I had called ahead to make sure we would have a pet-friendly room. The room had carpet which apparently had been previously visited by not so well trained dogs and the smell was horrendous. The carpet needs to be torn up and replaced with vinyl flooring like most pet-friendly places. The check in happens in one building and the rooms are far away. Directions given by staff were not helpful and the path to the rooms is not clear. We had to drive around, stop, get out, check room numbers and finally figured out how to get to our room. It was near the pet relief area so that was a plus. This facility is not accessible friendly. There are a lot of stairs in various places. The breakfast was good, fresh with typical variety. Breakfast room is down a flight of fairly steep and sometimes wet stairs. There is a ramp but it is exposed and also was wet and a bit slippery. All in all, tolerable for a single night budget stay with a pet but barely. Breakfast kept this from being one star.

It was very nice to walk into a clean smelling room & just clean period. The best part of my three day stay was the great breakfast. Fresh eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes & pancakes, hot coffee & a very good selection of cold cereals & juices. I didn't use the pool or hot tub but it looked like it could use some cleaning but overall my stay was very satisfying.

Very confusing layout. Not sure if property was under construction but there were bags of concrete in the hallways. The jacuzzi was taped off and full of brown water. The rooms were actually very clean but very outdated.

The spa was out of service. Many kids running past the room unsupervised and loud. Was almost his by a can of soda thrown by a kid.

Breakfast was a saving grace. Room was noisy from the freeway. And the hotel is under renovation - which was not disclosed when making the reservation. Many areas closed, construction debris all around, sidewalks not maintained and covered in loose sticky sand. We have stayed here many times in the past. VERY disappointed.

Property was under renovations and the new design looked great. Out of their control was some bad weather which caused some damage, from hearing from other people staying, seems like they had everything under control and moved forward to progress. Will stay again

Everyone there were very friendly and kind. The people at PJ's cafe were amazing. They greeted everyone with a hello or good morning. Asked how you were. And they always had a smile on their face.

When we returned to our room after our evening activities we found out they were having electrical problems. Our A/C was not working. It was well over 100 degrees outside. Allison power went out for short periods several times. All power and A/C. Was finally restored around midnight.

When I arrived I found out the pool wasn't working and was very disappointed. The front desk lady upgraded my room to a suite, no extra charge. It was big and amazing. Lots of room and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was really good too. The eggs had a nice buttery flavor and the rest of the food was hot and fresh. The pool was fixed the next day and I was able to enjoy a nice swim. I will definantly return there again.

Bed was not serviced, and door lock would not work twice

This hotel is disgusting. The photos looked nothing like the ones in the listing. The couch had ripped cushions with the stuffing coming out, the room smelled, and I checked out immediately and the staff didn't seem surprised in the least.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The overall appearance of the property is quite dated and in need of renovation. One of my main concerns was the door lock—it felt loose and not very secure, which made me uncomfortable during my stay. While the location might be convenient, I think some updates and maintenance are definitely needed to improve the guest experience.

The rooms are so comfortable, clean, and pretty!! The property is very well maintained, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly!

I had a little problem with the air conditioner. Woke up in a sweat as it didn't seem to be running. But all I had to do was turn on the fan. So not a big deal. A little difficulty finding my room. But everything else was fine. Nice breakfast.

It's slowly deteriorating. The pool look very cloudy and dirty. Overall you get what you pay. Un expensive nice area convenient to any store or restaurant you could think off.

The pool was great, we enjoyed the breakfast, and as one of us is on the tall side we enjoyed the taller shower heads. We were disappointed that the basketball hoops were taken down. The mattresses were very firm and one of them was broken. Also, the ice machine was broken. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would go again.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable at a staff was very friendly and very courteous. The service was outstanding just no bacon for breakfast. They should add it on to the menu but overall it’s worth coming again.

Liked the heated pool and hot tub. Liked that they provided towels although they did not have any out at 8:00 at night. We had to use room towels which made it uncomfortable to use same towels to shower.

I rented a suite, it was clear in the back of the hotel overlooking a tennis court that was probably abandoned twenty years ago. The net is broken, there is cut off pipe sticking out of the concrete that once held basketball hoops, the entry gates are secured shut with rusty bailing wire. The phone for room service was broken with no dial tone and the desk clerk told me a repair request would be filed for Monday. If you're into theme parks the bathroom is like crapping in a cave, its dark with walls and floors covered in some ugly faux dark stone. The bathroom vanity looks like it was bought at a thrift store with dark brown chipped and peeling paint. Mattresses are lumpy and old. No utensils or cooking implements to use the advertised kitchenette. If you are handicapped or disabled stay away as no elevator exists and walkways are a wild maze in various degrees of disrepair. With very little landscaping it's mostly dead or dying, rock and dirt seem to be the main theme. On a scale of 1- 10 I'd rate it 1 1/2.

We booked this hotel because it said it has a bar onsite, but were notified it was not open the time during our stay. We liked the layout of the rooms and amenities, but my curtains would not stay closed, and the bed was right by the window. As a single female traveling alone, this was very uncomfortable.

The staff was quite noisy, discussing how Ana didn't come to work. It's important to remember that some people stay up late and need peace and quiet. Please encourage employees to be more considerate, especially since the beds are near the window and the walls are thin.

Arrangement of the rooms is a challenge

Customer service - above and beyond! Room was very clean.

The front desk ladies helped the transaction go smoothly and very presentable attitudes. Would recommend this location if your looking for a affordable but welcoming and clean spot

The bath and sink were clogged water would drain really slow

Bathroom is in less than good condition needs painting and general maintenance. Faucets corroded and a timer switch over the sink?

This place was absolutely horrible. We lost out on all our money for 4 nights because I refused to stay here. I did not feel safe and the room was pretty bad. and neither Expedia or the hotel was willing to work with us.

It’s was a good stay overall but could use some updating. You pay for what you get so can’t really complain

Visited for the weekend and had a great experience. Rooms were clean and property was well kept. They has a great potty area for pets.

Mouse trap outside my door…. Fear of mice so not a great sight….

Hotel is in a great location close to shopping and dining options. Well maintained property.

Good stay for the price

We had the "executive suite". What a joke. Bathroom and sink area were at opposite sides of the room. 1 face clith. 2 towrls so if you showered and washed your hair you had 1 towel. Stove top so old and filthy. The tiny freezer in the very tiny fridge had not been defrosted for a very long time. Rug is in terrible shape. The grounds are filthy around the barbeque area. The lady at tge front desk was rude as well.

Walls are to thin, i could hear the niefhbor. And all the semi trucks going by on I8!! Slept like crap , hardly slept a wink..

For saying they are hotel and suites they should have an elevator. It was difficult to get to the room too many stairs. The handicap ramp though accessible, was difficult to use and to get to eating area. Eating area was so small it only had 5-2 chair tables. Not enough for such a big MOTEL not HOTEL!🙁

The room was great, bed comfortable and front office staff were friendly. The breakfast was pretty good but with only 2 people they were understaffed. Overall great experience.

Won’t stay again. Could hear our neighbor cough and snore. Lots of interstate noise. When we booked I specified lounge and restaurant. There was one but only open Mon-Wed. We were there Thursday. Very angry because we are bikers and don’t ride after dark or after having a cocktail.

Dirty hotel room. Not even worth commenting on

My husband was moved the last night he was there in the middle of the night due to a burning smell and ended up having to check out a day early due to an emergency and they refused to refund his last night. We have always stayed here and had a wonderful time but this time they have let me down.

Very nice property with excellent staff. Breakfast was very good. Traffic noise from busy highway but was acceptable.

Easy check in as it was late and we were exhausted.

The room where we stayed had a leak and the restroom was a pond that would travel to the room most of the time. The noise is terrible you can hear the cars all night since it's right by the freeway. The door seemed unsafe and cracked .

I was so surprised that the place was so nice, the bedding the cleanliness, the pool, the breakfast, the quietness during the night. We were even offered a free beer at social time by the pool. The employees also went out of their way to please.

The room &breackfast were good only problem was when we got back to our room for the 2nd night the keys did not work. After getting new keys we got into our room and it had not been serviced. Some of the used towels were gone along with the trash. No new new towles, coffee & cups etc. The bed was not made.No cleaning was done as well Not realy my next visit to Yuma.

Great room for a night of rest as part of a long trip. The included breakfast was surprisingly good! The location was calm and quiet.

The suite we got was very comfortable with TVs in the living room and the bedroom!

For the wife and I was easy access to the malls and local restaurants all within walking or driving distance. The rooms were clean. The staff were friendly and polite I would go back in a flash when visiting Yuma. Thank you best western.

Hotel is dated and the cushions on the chairs were stained. In addition to the general appearance of the room and bathroom which looked lacking in maintenance.

Hotel needs some up grades and area is not well kept. Did not look like the adertised photo at all. We will not return.

One night stay very comfortable bed and room was clean. The shower was a little dirty and the water kept running hot and cold.

I didnt like the way I was treated at check in. I reserved 6 days but when I got there I found out I only needed 3 nights stay. I hadnt paid for the room yet and tried to ccancel 2 days off my stay and she told me I couldnt do that even though Im a Best Western member and that she was gona charge me for 6 nights regardless if I stayed there or not..This pissed me off to no end. I will never stay there again because of her.

I have stayed here multiple times and each time I've had little to nothing to complain about. Only complaint I can think of is that two out of the three TVs I have had in my hotel rooms have not had any internet connection, so I was not able to watch YouTube.

The bathroom exhaust fan was not working The refrigerator was not plugged in There was no desk chair The cord to the phone would not stay plugged in

The hotel was over all okay, the parking isn’t the greatest, the spaces are very tight. The room had like a stuffy smell to it, and I always flush the toilets and open the faucets to see if they work and the toilet was leaking. I called to notify no one picked up the phone. The AC situation is very confusing. Beds were squeaky and not really comfortable.
