Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas North - Addison by IHG

Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk, and we had to wait approximately 15–20 minutes before receiving assistance. Unfortunately, no apology was offered for the delay. Later, I called the front desk to request spoons and forks and was told they would be delivered to our room. After waiting for some time and receiving nothing, I had to go down to the lobby myself to pick them up. When I arrived, the front desk employee appeared occupied with her cellphone and seemed to have forgotten my request. Additionally, the window shades in our room were broken and would not raise. Overall, the lack of attentiveness and maintenance issues made for a disappointing stay.

It smelt like someone had peed on the carpet several days ago and no one cleaned it. We could not bear the smell, so we went to the reception to get the room changed but they never had another available room. We left and had to get accommodation in the neighboring hotel. I was very dissapointed and I would never recommend the place to anyone. Unfortunately, I could not get a refund because I had booked it via Expedia, another very major mistake. If I could have booked directly via the hotel, they could have refunded.

This was our 3rd year staying here (we stay 1 wk every visit) and this year was the worst! Last year we ran out of soap, had problems with the tv & unbalanced bathroom floor. They were fixing when we left. We were placed in the same room as last year and same problems in addition to not changing our linen - especially after asking & not changing the stained comforter (it was clearly dirty!!) and the toilet kept filling until you jiggled the handle. Also, what happened to the bacon as a variety of meat choices & hot chocolate choice for the new coffee machine in the lobby. Another note: The outside lounge area never had the cushions out - not setup for guests - so no where to sit. Bright side: The front desk staff was great! Very friendly. Wish things weren’t so bad, The location was perfect for visiting my family. Needless to say we will not be returning again. Very dissatisfied customer

There was blood and private area hair on the comforter. I don’t believe the comforter was washed between guest. We were brought new bedding, but the customer service just pretty much said “I’m sorry” and it was hair from their cleaning staff.

Free on site parking was easy and helpful, and complimentary breakfast was tasty. Coffee and tea available in lobby all the time. Staff very friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Was quiet area too. AC in the room was kinda loud but aren't they all.... overall I'd stay here again for sure.

The breakfast menu was nicely varied, tasty, and the buffet area was well stocked and maintained. The coffee was the best buffet coffee I ever had.

Breakfast was okay. The location was nice. When we arrived, the cerk was waiting on another customer. After they left,he typed into the computer for a while, then a young lady sitting behind the desk showed him her phone. He typed a while longer, she shows her phone to him again. After about two minutes, he looks up and says "You checking in?" No greeting, and a not very pleasant tone. Had I been able to cancel and go someplace else, I would have. That's not how you treat customers.

The team is always so accommodating. I stay here frequently because they make me feel welcomed, safe and they always remember me. They have a great group of people from Maangement to hospitality! In all my travels (200 plus days a year) this is one of favorite places to stay. Oh and the beds are very comfortable!

We like staying here, it’s central to our activities. But, We chose a room that said “ non-smoking” and confirmed it with the front desk upon check in. She said Hotel is non-smoking so that was good. However, the room smelled so bad. Smelled like it had been smoked in or was just dirty/mildew Desk said they were full and couldn’t move us. We were there 3 days and ended up buying air fresheners and a candle to offset the smell which did help so much. We did report it on the check-out and suggested they change the filter and clean the carpet. Breakfast was good. Chairs sure are worn out in the dining area, staff was cordial but not super friendly.

Television in the room was so dark that unable to watch. When called front desk was told it is what it is and that would set a different remote out that I could try and adjust settings. The television didn't have brightness option for adjustment.

We stayed for five nights (originally meant to stay six but cut visit short for other reasons) and never had our room cleaned during the stay. The bed was made once when we asked for towels, TP, and to empty the trash can. Other than that we only received any necessities by stopping and asking for them at the desk.

Listen, when me and my husband changed our stay to this hotel, it was a game changer. This hotel was such an upgrade from the first hotel we were at that was ALL under construction. We will definitely be back to Holiday Inn!!! Daisha at front desk was soooo nice and helpful!!! The welcome waters were a great welcome. It's the little things!! Breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! The room was so nice and clean!! There was a full gym for my gym rat husband. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were the coolness pillows! We really enjoyed our stay here! The price, was also cheaper than the from hotel we had with all the construction. This is your hotel right here ...HOLIDAY INN!!

We found this hotel to be pretty average for the price range. Front desk employee was fairly disorganized for a few minutes, but that was fine! She was friendly but did something we found to be very unsafe. As I was checking in (I’m female, my husband was in the car so it looked like just me) another few people came to check in. Instead of having them wait a respectful distance she told them to come and stand right behind me. It made me uncomfortable as then she started to give me instructions and was very polite, but announced out loud (regular volume , no whispering or effort to be discreet ) what floor I was on. Thankfully, she did not announce my room number because these people were in line behind me like they would be in a conveniencestore line. It makes me very uncomfortable when I’m traveling, even with my husband ,for my floor to be announced to everybody in the lobby. I’m sure she meant no harm but I feel like maybe more training should be put in place to help keep guests safe. Room was average for the price. Bathroom and bed were clean, but the carpet was very dirty. We were exhausted and I wasn’t thinking and walked around barefoot. My feet were so brown from the carpet that before getting into bed I had to wash them in the tub and wore shoes the rest of the time. Normally I do anyway, but again was very tired. Breakfast offerings and quality were average for the price. The staff that were serving breakfast were very friendly and professional.

I come here every time for my aviation check rides or recurrences. Rooms are clean, comfortable, studious. Hotel is near food places, and 2 minute drive to my flight school.

I love the fact that I'm not sleeping in a kennel with everyone's dogs. The breakfast was great! Could use some hot chocolate for us non coffee drinkers.

The hotel was nice but the maids are rude as hell. When you don’t respond to them knocking the bust in your room unannounced no warning. I was naked laying in my bed when the maid walked right in my room.! I felt violated and will never book here again.!

Quick trip to visit local lacrosse training facility. Very clean, quiet and in walking distance to lots of eating places. Good breakfast.

Everything was great, except i kept getting calls from reception complaining about noise, not sure why, I had two toddlers with me maybe it bothered someone. Once i got to breakfast i seen Fox News on TV which made more sense about where i was and the type of people. If you have kids make sure they keep it super quite

The location is excellent, the room was clean, front desk was friendly and the breakfast attendants were attentive and courteous. Breakfast was fresh and all countertops were clean. My wife and I THANK YOU!!! All common places around the building looked maintained, as well as the parking areas. Overall a great place, fantastic front desk service and definitely would stay again when visiting the area.

I chose this property for it's Location and #1 due to Expedia showing that this facility had an onsite EV Charging Station. Upon arrival I was informed that Expedia was incorrect that they do not offer an EV Charging station. This greatly inconvienced our plans for a weekend of Christmas shopping as we had to make alternate charging plans and additional time away from our schedule to charge our vehicle due to not being able to charge overnight as we have on other occassions at other hotels. Other than that major disappointment everything else about the hotel was great. After spending 45 minutes trying to get in contact with a live person at Expedia to discuss my disappointment with this error, they agrred to give me a $50 cedit for my inconveninece.
