Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. GREAT waffles, muffins, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee. Employees were friendly, the place was clean and quiet. lots of places for your puppy to potty our air in the first room didn't work, first room we were switched to was dirty, bed not made, beer cans on the night stand, next room was GREAT!

The room needed attention. There was a tear in the top sheet and dried lipstick on the nightstand. The shower curtain rod was broken on one end so the rod was just resting on the top of the shower tile and hung a few inches into the shower floor. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. It was quiet and the a/c worked well. The doors had been painted but the paint is on the door handle base. We checked in after 8pm after driving 8 hours and left early to get back on the road.

The air conditioner was effective and the environment appeared safe. You need to think about better tv programming services or tv use. I only had one channel to visit while I was there and the channel was Fox News.

Took 3 times as long to shower because of the trickle. Breakfast is a loose term, good if you want a muffin or yogurt but bad if you wanted something else. They had cold cereal but 2% milk was the only option and I like a large number of people am lactose intolerant so no cereal or yogurt for me.

I believe the property is entirely misrepresented both on Expedia and the “hotel’s” website. To be clear, it’s a straight up motel. I was told by a local that it was once a “resort”. It’s definitely on a convenient location.

The hotel was great for the cost and the staff was nice, friendly and welcoming. I will stay here again the next time I’m down this way.

Check in was smooth and quick, and the room was clean and up to date. The parking lot and building were well lit, and even having seen others go in the rooms next to me, I never heard anyone else. If I'm being really picky, the room I was in had a walk in shower and not a bath tub—everything else was perfect.

The room was clean and perfectly quiet for much needed sleep. It’s perfectly located for food and was easy to find. The lady that checked me in was very nice and I wish I would’ve paid attention to her name.

empty car with open windows running by the front entrance. It had a strong smell of Marijuana coming from it. There were 2 cars speeding through the parking lot as well. One almost hit us as we were parking in front of our room! This is not a safe place!

Based on the photos the hotel and rooms look great. Upon arrival, we were greeted with cockroaches on the walls and floor. I have never felt so nasty walking into a hotel in my life. I have been an Expedia member for many years so I really hope they make this right ! My family had to drive further to find a decent hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

You do have to walk up a flight of stairs and there are no elevators, for those w mobility issues. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Someone had changed the input on the tv so it took me a while to get it working, but once I figured it out, it was fine. Breakfast was continental, only microwave sausage biscuits and oatmeal, pastries, etc. Overall though I was happy.

This hotel was very clean, beds were comfy and staff was very helpful. If you are looking for a swanky place look elsewhere. If you are looking for a clean room, clean well taken care of furnishings and everything works it is the place! Everyone was great! Thank you for a great 2 day stay.

The door didn’t secure to the room checked into, so they gave us another room where the floor wasn’t clean and the room had an odor. You get what you pay for.

The stay was great, as always. I did arrive very late and the desk clerk was a gentleman i had not seen before. I've stayed there many times and the young lady that usually checks me in was obviously already gone for the evening. I guess I was expecting her bubbly personality. The gentleman, although very professional, was almost a little "gruff." Maybe I was just tired. But Ebony, who insaw the next morning, was as beautiful and friendly as ever!!

Soft bed

The cleanliness was NOT the best bathroom specifically. The manager tried to rectify the situation and Ebony the housekeeper went above and beyond to make sure my bathroom was cleaned properly.

The Bathroom sink had low water pressure, everything else was fine.

I was skeptical to make reservations but to our surprise everything was smooth from Check In (Scott was great!) to Checkout. Our room was clean, no odd odors, bed sheets were clean, there were pubic hairs in the shower (a real ick). Shopping and restaurants in close proximity a plus. The only thing my husband grumbled about was that NBC was not televising the Bucs game (lol). Otherwise the stay was lovely. I would recommend. Thanks

I've stayed in worse rooms before, but I feel that the rating should have been more like 7.5 instead of 8.2. Overall, it met our basic needs for the night.

this was a stop on drive from Florida to Ohio. checked in around midnight. check in was friendly and efficient. room was exactly what we needed: a clean safe place to crash for a few hours before getting back on the road.

Overall condition and staff was great, anything you want to eat is nearby.

I had to take an upstairs room.

People sitting outside of the rooms playing cards. On second floor hanging over railings smoking. when arrive arm-chair or accent chair was outside of the room. Was told that they was out because they was getting clean and would be replaced back in room before dark.

Baymont at Albany was quiet, clean and the night staff on the night of the 6/12/25 was very cordial (give her a raise). Overall enjoyed my stay very much. It was what I would expect from a hotel for this price.

Room had been updated and was very clean.

The service was good. The place overall looks like they're trying to update things with new paint. The room while somewhat clean, is in need of repairs in the bathroom and with the flooring. The shower head is fixed and pointed to the wall. The water pressure was low. The flooring is wavy and a trip hazard that could use a good mopping. The room could use blinds, as well. The bed was very uncomfortable. If you're going to use a bedframe with metal springs then you need a thicker mattress so it's not jabbing you while you're trying to sleep. On the plus side it was decently quiet.

It was good rooms were clean only issue was everyone around us was smoking things other the cigarettes and with kids I had to keep them indoors

Property was extremely nice to be considered a motel. The room was nice and big. Bathroom was extremely nice with dove products to use if you didn’t bring your own. Room itself was updated nicely and didn’t seem old and dirty. Property does offer breakfast along with an outdoor pool. Staff were wonderful and friendly.

The room was clean. Service was excellent. The only complaint would be that the bed made alot of noise but it was comfortable.

Ok noisey rooms people talking outside our door and people stomping upstairs over our room. They don’t have coffee after the breakfast is over.

We were nervous about staying in a motel but we needed something affordable. We were very surprised and happy that everything turned out great and eased our worries. The walk in shower was great, hard wood floors and the beds were comfortable, clean and smelled good. I loved the pillows too. Our kids loved the pool it is very well kept and clean. The breakfast was decent being included in the price. Waffles, sausage biscuits, cereal and juice etc. pre made stuff but still good. The staff including front desk, maintenance and maids all were so friendly and waved/smiled Everytime they saw us. Front desk gave me 2 large trash bags to use since the trash cans in the room are always so small. It’s a great location only 15 min from chehaw park. So many restaurants around and a target right across the street. Everything was super clean and well kept including the mini fridge and microwave. They have ice machines and some vending machines but unfortunately only take cash or coins. The only real hiccup we had was the gentleman working front desk Wjen we arrived at 4am. He was a bit rude and left us standing out in the cold while he was on his personal phone it seemed. Also a homeless man riding around asking people for cigarettes and money was a bit unsettling but nothing major. It was a bit pricier than we wanted for a motel running about 125 a night but it was clean, had breakfast, pool and so on. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. I saw some bad reviews but were happy.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the frame made lots of noise just when sitting or lying down on it and rolling over.

Do not recommend this motel, did not feel secure, no blankets only sheets had to ask for blankets, old dried blood on back of bathroom door. Frig didn't work and when temp turned down started leaking on floor. Need way better house keeping.

It was just ok

My family and I were in town to attend a funeral. I am thankful to the management of the hotel for understanding the need for us to check in a little early so that we could change out of our traveling clothes. When your family is grieving, it helps tremendously for others to show you kindness.

Everything was great! The only thing I can say is that the shampoo bottle in the shower was completely out of shampoo. But otherwise a great stay!

Friendly desk clerk

The staff were very friendly, the grounds were clean. The only issues I reported were the toilet not secured to the floor correctly(it wobbled) and the sink had a small leak that you could see where it had started to ruin the floor. I reported both before I left. Other than that it was a nice stay. The room was clean the people were nice the hotel was in a great location and it was reasonably priced.

There were ants in the bathroom and vanity area.

Clean and accessible. It's an older motel so you can hear people outside and in the room next door. Recommend for a fast low cost night stay.

I didn't eat the breakfast. The room was clean. The fixtures were old and need to be updated for example the tissue holder in the bathroom was rusty!!
