Room had a weird musty smell

Noisey AC. Bed was sitting on a metal frame and made noise every time you rolled over. Room had a weird musty smell.

The bed was as hard as the ground. It definitely needs a freshen up every thing was out dated or the original. Could use a deep cleaning as well

Would be great if they offered more variety at at breakfast (eggs, potatoes, meats).

There's no real breakfast just coffee, juice and waffles. Rooms was clean but everything is just older. Need alot of updates

Staff was great, room and hotel was clean. Solid on most things. Very good value price for the experience overall.

Location was great from the Knoxville airport. Plenty of restaurants in shopping and etc. to do. Breakfast was very slim pickings only one waffle maker, and pastries with juice for breakfast. And had to wait both mornings because there was only one waffle maker for various people waiting would be great to have more selection in another waffle maker.

Dishwasher was broken, no hooks in bathroom

The breakfast could use some improvement. Offering bagels and waffles does not go far.

Location Found several live and dead german cockroach nymphs in the bathroom. Mattress had stains all over it. Room overall felt dirty and outdated. We inquired about a refund for one night as we did not want to stay another night and potentially bring home hitchhikers. The front desk said they'd be able to do this and also provide a partial refund for the first night. We never received a refund.

Great beds !!! Could use a little maintenance

The fan routing the a/c into the separate room wasn't working to help cool the room but maintenance came out and said it would take a couple of hours which we didn't have so he said turn the a/c air temperature down to cool the room at night.

The hotel had a very odd smell to it when you first walked in. It wasn’t super alarming just odd. Once we got into our room this horrible stench was stuck to all the furniture. We had to open a window just to breathe comfortably. My husband and I came to the hotel very late at night from travel so just decided to sleep and leave first thing in the morning. I could barely stay asleep the smell was so awful even with all the windows open. The smell stuck to all our luggage, clothing, and body we took quick showers and left immediately. Won’t NOT recommend.

this hotel gave off bed bug vibes and the pull out sofa was full of god knows what, so disgusting. I wish I took pictures but we only defaulted here because our flight was delayed and we still had to drive 2 hrs to our destination and it got late out.

It was very convenient to shopping and dining. The area was quiet and the parking lot was very well lit. There is an EV charging station. The room was comfortable with so many amenities for a long stay.

Bathtub was slippery. Had to be careful not to fall. The air conditioner was a little noisy and tv had a hard time picking up the channels.

Hotel is older, but everyone was friendly.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pull out sofa and floor had vomit and chicken bones on it that were never cleaned. The room was very small and the beds were not comfortable at all. The breakfast was pitiful with waffles, cereal, toast, bagels, and yogurt.

A lot of issues in the hotel and the room

We arrived at 7 PM and our room still wasn’t ready. The front desk told us they were having issues with housekeeping and that the bed wasn’t made, but it would be “10 minutes.” Twenty minutes later, the room was finally done — and it was still NOT clean. There was no shampoo, the room was dirty, and they do not clean your room during your stay. If you want fresh towels, you have to bring your dirty ones to the front desk, and they only give you one set of towels for two people. You have to repeat this every single day. There was dried blood on the comforter, the kitchen floor was filthy, and the breakfast was extremely limited. Both mornings I went down, there was either no coffee or it was cold — which tells me it was leftover from the day before. Absolutely disgusting. There’s even more I could mention. When I complained, I was told the manager would comp my stay. I appreciated that, and before leaving I confirmed it with the manager — he agreed. But they only comped one night, not the entire stay as promised. If you want excuses, broken promises, and a dirty, gross, poorly managed hotel, then book here. Otherwise, stay far away.

Room was clean but there were live roaches in the room. Stay for the most part was good.

I had expected more to 7.8 stars. Was closer to a 5-6 Hotel. Old everything. Ran out of pillows and blankets for our pull out bed.

Room 33l...Our bathroom door didn't close, the headboards were full of dirty handprints and oils, paint on the pictures, a nail sticking out of the ceiling, the circuit breaker door (in our room) was open full of mold, the shower was a joke, you couldn't turn the water on without it flying out of the shower and onto the bathroom floor (water everywhere) or get off the toilet without hitting your body on the towel wrack, the sink vanity was falling apart, the kitchen was filthy, and we couldn't sleep because every time the refrigerator kicked on, it sounded like a construction site jack hammer!! Also, the whole place smelled like a fish fry!!! Terrible, would not recommend! Sorry but not impressed with this place!!

Bathroom door was broke. They ran out of pillows. Tv didn’t work. Breakfast was comprised of bread and stale cereal. Other than that, it was great.

Clean room, friendly staff, very limited breakfast items but for a budget friendly hotel I would recommend. Quiet in spite of being near the airport.

The air conditioner was not working it blew air but it was not hot air wasn't cold air it just would not work the room was very stuffy and the wind is opened up which same kind of dangerous in these days but thank Goodness they opened up and we had plenty of cool air during the night that's also a lot of lights that shine into the windows from the parking lot that made it hard to sleep because so much light in the room after dark but it was a very clean room and it was perfect for what we needed that night . We went down for breakfast at 8:30 and that was a joke it was pitiful we had coffee and a muffin there was no fruit there was no yogurt there was no nothing a man was making waffle and eating bread it was slim pickins

The front desk staff was great! The room was not taken care of. The pull out couch mattress was rust stained from the metal support bars. There were also flakes of rust all over the mattress. When the shower was turned on black junk came out first and then cleared up.

Loved the room

I have to say that Katy at the front desk is a superstar. She has a good memory- she remembered me from a stay about six months ago, and I heard her know a guest by name even though he did not frequently come through Maryville/Alcoa. Super helpful and very nice. We were here for Christmas and have enjoyed our stay!

Staff is great but place is run down. nothing like the pictures. bathroom door broken couch was dingy musty smell in kitchen area.

I reserved two rooms. Everything was extremely clean except in one room there was a smell- not to overpowering- but there was a smell. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is very small JUST FYI but otherwise it was a comfortable stay.

First arrived at a room that smelled like cigarette smoke and asked an associate there to verify whether it did, and her response was that it "kinda" smelled like it, which was way off from a "yes" or "absolutely." It was bad enough to ask for a different room since everything in there smelled. After being assigned a different room, I told the manager that one of the entrance doors wasn't closing properly, and her response was that people sometimes leave things in the door on purpose to enter and exit the building. The main reason it wasn't closing properly was that the people who installed that door didn't do it right, but she didn't want to hear that from me, so I just walked away, saying whatever. Later on, I realized I had misplaced some keys of mine and went down to her to ask her if anyone in that first room had turned anything in, and she said no. The fact that she never tried to go to that room and ask if my keys were in there would've been nice. At least an effort or concern would've been nice. The next morning, once I turned in my key card, she asked me what the keys looked like, then got up out of her chair and went to ask another associate if he had seen anything. Zero effort, no concerns, Nasty attitude, and Unprofessional.

Chech in was easy and quick, parking was busy but i think there was a Tennessee football game so i totally understand. Unfortunately when i got into the room that's where it went wrong. Unfortunately there were dirty dishes in the sink, the toilet was dirty and cleaned properly, they left an open pack of razors on the sink, the shower had the last guests shampoo and bar of soap in there. Lastly there was an open can of pear juice on the kitchen counter and when i went to throw it out it was stuck to the counter top.

We would return. Bed is nice and clean.

I had to was those points of contact ising the washrag to get areas wet. I had to wash my hair in the very small kitchen sink. No manager on site to talk to, just the front desk clerk (who was very nice).

Breakfast items out no one to stock. Acted like it was an inconvenience when we asked for a knife butter. Towels were stained. Comforter on bed had holes in it. And the couch we had to sit on for a week was soooo uncomfortable.

Check in was a breeze. Room was a nice suite that we loved. Restaurants within walking distance.

Absolutely DISGUSTING No pool access, the entire hotel smelled like urine and feces. They refused to service my room, stating they only service rooms once a week, I reserved for only two days. Staff was very rude and inconsiderate and none of the housekeeping staff could speak English.

Staff was very nice and everything was clean. Biggest problem was lack of breakfast - almost nothing left with an hour to go. Ended up having to go to a restaurant to get coffee and breakfast. Shouldn't advertise that breakfast is included unless there is more offered.

Room was nice and staff was helpful, but breakfast was really lacking. Only waffle batter (syrup was gone), a few bagels and joghurts left. Shouldn't say that breakfast was included if these are the offerings.

The free breakfast is a joke, there’s a waffle maker, cereal, and yogurt. The orange juice was so thick like it was straight concentrate.

The sink and garbage disposal was messed up but usable. Took a long time to drain. Microwave didn't work properly but everything else was amazing.

Our room has been remodeled. The bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Couch needed to be replaced. They need a reliable maintenance person. Our toilet was not bolted correctly to the floor. And the fan between the two rooms was falling off the wall.

I don't mind that the hotel was kind of old but the couch had stains on it I pulled the couch out to get something I dropped on the floor and there was so much dirt behind it there was a bath chair in the shower that had s*** on it it hadn't been cleaned I felt disgusted and I had to shower at my grandson's

This was a good stay. Decently priced, comfortable and really good staff. Not far from the airport and only about 30-40 minutes from Cade’s Cove.

We didn’t stay there for luxury accommodations. It’s a dated and well used property. Decent price. Staff was nice.

Our room was non smoking, but the bathroom smelled like smoke and they put air freshener sheets in the ac unit to deodorize the room.

The room was clean and well stocked. The only issue there was,was the parking. There were at least 8 straight job freight trucks that took up 6 or six parking spots. There is not adequate parking for big trucks

The check in was smooth. There was only one EV charging station that was occupied by a gas car which belongs to manager. The person at reception offered that we can charge and the manager can move his truck. However, he came back with may be an excuse that the charging does not work. They kept calling and knocking at the door for checkout. I told them i will take a little longer due to work meeting but it did not help much. Breakfast was average.

Desk staff said the breakfast started at 6am, and I had an early flight, so I came to the lobby at 6am but all that was available was the juices, some bagels and muffins. I wish the rest was available for folks like me that have to get out right away.

I stay at this hotel 3-4 times per year. I don't have anything negative. One suggestion might be A guide for the t v channels. It's on the cable station But actually having one printed out would be helpful.

It was clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed. They advertise a hot breakfast, welll that part was a joke. Yes you can get a waffle or cup of coffee hot, but and toast & sometimes donut holes.

Very dirty inside and outdated rooms are dirty bathrooms peeling paint moldy caulking in tubs ac/heat unit filters look and smell when it’s on like they’ve never been cleaned rooms had musty smell to them

Overall it was terrible, however the room had clumps of dirt on the couch and floor as it hadn't been vacuumed before we arrived. The tub also leaked the entire time (would not shut off completely) so we had to hear the water running constantly and it made the room humid and gave it a slight smell. The windows have visible mold growing on them and there were what looked to be poop smeared along the sliding bathroom door on both sides. There also was some yellowish liquid that was dripping down and dried to the wall just outside of the bathroom. As gross as this was for me, the rest of the room wasn't too bad, really. Comfortable bed, good heating/cooling, there were dishes in the cabinets for us to use as well as dishwasher detergent. The bathroom mirror was nice with the lighting behind it and the housekeeping staff was very sweet, kind, patient and helpful when we realized we forgot something in our room after checking out. I think I would stay here again but would immediately check the room and then report any discrepancies with the front desk.

Dated property that has been renovated well. Bed had strange sound when getting in and out. Breakfast was nothing special....sausage was extremely done.

I have stayed here previously & I had a great time. This time however I was very upset. First there was hair in the sink & bathroom floor. The corners in the bathroom were caked with yuck! The bed was not clean, there was crumbs under the blanket & the cover was stained with a yellow substance. Then when I opened the cupboard to get a cup there was a bug…I’m sure you can guess what type. The children next door were jumping on the bed & running something along the wall till late. Even after asking for a new room. I come to the area to work with the homeless & veterans. I donate my time & don’t have money to spare. I would have changed hotels if I could’ve. Very disappointed as I had a great stay previously.

There were bugs in the cabinet with the glasses and the glasses and drinkware were very dirty. I checked out 2 hours after I checked in because of these reasons.

I picked this hotel specifically for the handicap access room. I showed up and we were put in a normal room that was very difficult for my wheelchair bound mother in law. There were no accommodations or discounts offered, and no other accessible rooms available. The prices were jacked up because there was some football game earlier in the day so I thought I was getting a nicer hotel. Stains on couch, chairs, and floor. Moldy, dripping shower all night long. The whole hotel smells funny. I realize now this is a bargain motel, but if you promise a room with handicap access you need to provide it.

Everything was satisfactory. Arrived 30 minutes before check. Unfortunately was not able to get a room early. The staff were friendly. The room was clean. The mattress is a lot softer than I prefer so that caused a few problems but those are me problems not the hotel problems.

Our room was extremely dirty. The mattresses were badly stained. No linens were provided for the pull out sofa. There were dead bugs stuck in the curtains. The air vents were filthy and the door handle to the bedroom was broken. Had it not been so late in the night when we arrived, we would not have stayed there. It was filthy!

This is our 3tf time staying for a VOLS game and the staff is wonderful and the location is perfect.

My wife and I love the self efficiency apartment idea. We don't like eating out to much because of the food quality in alot of the chain restaurants. Nice to know I can cook my own and save alot of money too.

The staff was helpful

This was our second time to stay here and once again surpassed our expectations. Rooms are clean and staff is very polite and professional. This time I had left the lights on over night and the battery was dead and the manager helped jump the car off and stayed and talked for awhile. You just don't get this type of service everyday. I highly recommend this place. We WILL be back.

The property was well lit, and the picture on Expedia seemed dated compared to the refreshed condition of the exterior when we arrived.

There were dirty clothes in the room. The room was extremely decrepit and just oddly set up. The carpet was ancient. The bathroom was newer and clean, and the staff was very nice. The breakfast was unexpectedly good.

Spend your money somewhere else , smelly rooms . Staff unable to change rooms and automatically charge your card by 4pm

I think it was just an honest mistake. When we notified them they took care of it immediately. The rest of the stay was fine. About a 20 minute drive from Neyland and in a quite area.

The room had an unpleasant odor and wasn’t as clean as I would like. The smell was the worst part. I’m having to wash everything that was in my suitcase. I would not stay there again but it served the purpose for this trip. There are some good restaurants nearby (Blue Moose and Kickback Jacks).

Lack of communication. They called me on a Friday to say they needed to change my room for tile repairs on Sunday but change didn't hapoen until Tue evening. Then room felt like a downgrade. Other than that not bad

I enjoyed the room with kts amenities, the full kitchen, couch, eating bar, and the updated bath and charge centers. However, the AC did not run according to the thermostat, just on or off. The toilet seat was broken and needed replacing. You can hear people in the hallway quite easily. Breakfast standard acceptable, nothing grand, basic. Some staff friendly, one argumentative. I would stay there again.

One complaint: the water barely got warm and the shower head was clogged and was not functional at all. I had to take a bath.

Very nice and clean hotel, stopped here and stayed one night because we were too tired to continue driving from Dollywood and made a last minute booking. Beds were super comfortable and so were the pillows. Id like to know what kind of pillows they use so i can get some for my bed at home. Only negative thing id say is days later they tried to take money out of my account but thankfully my card was locked. I called to ask why they said their system went down but that she didnt see anything being charged, the lady was kind of rude about it but it just seemed odd to me even if your system goes down theres no reason it would try to charge someones card.

It was a nice place for the money. And great staff.
