Hyatt Place Atlanta / Alpharetta / Windward Parkway

Highly recommend this hotel. Spent 3 nights. There’s housekeeping every day, complimentary breakfast that was great and different every morning. The staff was very friendly. Won’t disappoint.

The staff was amazing, so friendly and helped me look up places to shop and explore I believe it was Malcolm who helped me set up my Uber ride for the night before the day I was leaving .(I am so sorry if I got your name wrong) Ebony she makes you feel welcome and at home ! Honestly if I could remember everyone’s name I would list them all .Alex was great also. Breakfast was phenomenal. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a motel where you had a breakfast like that.. my room was clean daily. My bed was made every day and new towels always smells great. I can’t wait to come back.!!!

The hotel needs to be refreshed. Everything is really dated. The bathroom wallpaper is peeling off, sink was clogged and broken, carpet was badly stained.

The area was nice, close enough to walk to stores, but felt secluded. Rooms were nice, the staff was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel and I will stay again on my next visit to Georgia.

Overall room was clean,bed comfortable and plenty of space. Convenient location was close to restaurants. Construction going on out front we did not hear any loud noises from site.Air conditioning was good. Breakfast was minimal but ok just like other hotels. I would stay here again, price was a good value considering prices of other hotels in area.

Property was clean, large stain in room 222 on carpet, not much room to stretch and do floor exercises in the tiny gym, not impressed with breakfast especially on the weekend. Staff is always amazing throughout the day and evening. Wish they had microwaves in each room for late night meals. Bar was never really open while there. Pool was closed for maintenance. Overall quite and clean facility. Love the guest visitors bathrooms upon entering the facility. Back main entrance door is broken.

If you're booking Hyatt Place, know what you're getting — this is NOT a full Hyatt property, and that's perfectly okay. Hyatt Place is a separate, more budget-friendly brand, and once you understand that distinction, you'll find this hotel is a decent place to stay. The property itself is new and well-maintained, which is a definite plus. Breakfast was good — a highlight worth mentioning. That said, a few things gave us pause: • Not ideal for families with young children or infants: the shower setup was not accommodating for little ones. • Thin walls and poor sound insulation: noise from inside the room can be heard outside, and vice versa. Privacy is a real concern here. • Location: this particular property sits right next to a club, which I would not like

Was informed by staff that if it closed at 11, I tried to order a couple of drinks before 11 and was informed everything was already shut down. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is really what makes all the difference here! They are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable.

This really is a Hyatt “lite”. Nothing fancy or special about it. Gym was tiny, pool was closed for the season. Complimentary breakfast was edible, but lacked any flavor. The staff was really friendly and that was really a redeeming amenity. The room was also nice and clean, but I would expect that of any moderately priced accommodations. It was close to a LA Fitness gym so I was able to use their pool/hot tub and gym equipment.

Staff has persistently gotten worse and worse over the years. And the decay in the rooms is showing. My last stay at this property for sure.

I had an amazing stay! Malcolm was so welcoming, nice, and full of hospitality. He is beyond an amazing person! The room was clean and housekeeping always came while I was gone had me feeling like I walked into a fresh room the 3 nights I was there. I will definitely be staying there for again!

Very noisy cause of highway traffic. Breakfast could be better as I have seen much more options in other Hyatt locations.

Parking, proximity to my meeting location. Room key system was down, hassle getting in and out of room. Left early on departure day for airport. Front desk agent away from desk, unhelpful when they came back. I asked for my receipt, they said it would be emailed to me but it never was. Also didn’t get my points and was told I would have to contact reservations number. Not worth the hassle, will just do Marriott next time.

Day staff was good. The night front desk person was downright mean. When I asked for a microwave before the breakfast bar was open he showed passive aggression by closing the cabinets very loudly and muttering under his breath. My son was with me and I felt bad that he had to go through that.

People would be screwed getting into rooms, we needed a refrigerator to refrigerate an infant dialysis the refrigerator was broken. Had to get ice. in your ad It says restaurant please remove restaurant because you have none. Very disappointed. as we have to run out after 10’clock to get food..

There was hair in my bed, when I brought it their attention they offered to give me new sheets to change myself, the wine had gone bad, and my coworker couldn’t even get a key card. Someone had to get her into her room every time!

The continental breakfast was awful. The room was very outdated. Just not a good experience at all, but was limited on where we could stay due to the fact of the soccer tournament in town, taking up most of the vacancies of hotels in the area

The guy working there front desk (I think his name was Malcom or Marcus...I didn't ask when I checked in around 8:30/9pm but I think that's what the morning shift said.. black man.. longer hair)...anyways...he was absolutely fantastic... extremely friendly, helpful and courteous...started our stay off right. The room was spacious and clean. There was a bit of a musty smell throughout the hallways but overall ok...breakfast was good and pretty well stocked... they could have done a little sweeping during breakfast hours as the floor got a bit dirty but still...a good breakfast. The price was right, the location was right... the service was great. 12pm checkout was great... didn't make us feel rushed to get out. Would stay at again.

This Hotel is not pleasant or inviting at all and is desperately in need of a make over. When I arrived and entered the lobby it was dirty, paper and crumbs all over the floors disgusting. I wanted so bad to not check in but due to it being Valentine’s Day / prior reservations for 8:30 pm I just didn’t have the time to search for other accommodations.

Only 2 luggage carts available for the whole hotel. Upon departure none were available. Also had to leave a day early for illness and would not refund the extra night.

Was a little nervous to still book because of the mix reviews, but my stay overall was great. Although it was not up to date Hyatt like im used to in other areas, the specialty room i booked was very clean; smelled clean and everything operating nicely. fitness room had the essential equipments needed and all staff members were very nice and accommodating.The breakfast just was ok. The English muffins i had were molded the first day. Scrambled Eggs was not really what im used to but they were still ok. I liked that you could make the waffles fresh. The boiled eggs almost seem frozen.However The hotel is in an area that has a bunch of restaurants and shopping close by which was perfect.

I called the hotel and see if I can get an kind of refund or credit for a future stay since I will be traveling down there on the regular for work travel, and was told "nothing we can do for you, sorry" and then terminated the phone call. I was going to make this the regular hotel I stayed at when I traveled for work, but I will be finding another hotel for that going forward

Do not stay at this hotel! We were put in a room where the AC did not work, after being moved down the hall we were put in a room where they were painting outside the door all night. The room smelled like paint.

I don’t know why this place gets such bad reviews. I was really worried before my one night stay here. I was greeted by friendly, helpful staff when I arrived around 11pm. They were fully booked and there was only one room left, but they still met my request to have a bathtub in my room. The room was clean, quiet, and smoke/insect free. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean enough for me to feel comfortable in the tub and I’m a bit of a germaphobe. TV worked. Fridge did seem not very cold, but kept my snacks fresh. There is no microwave. Breakfast was what you’d expect from any of these kind of places. Dry eggs, greasy sausage, bread, plenty of decent coffee, a little fruit and bad danish. Appreciated being able to eat before I checked out. Though I did go early (7am) since people warned of the food/coffee running out. The hotel was booked and there was plenty to eat and places to sit. When I asked, I was directed to the gym to fill my water bottle with cold, filtered water. They do not provide complimentary bottled water as do many hotels of this quality, but they do sell it in the lobby.

The most unique thing was the acknowledgement and friendly greeting as I immediately entered. This gentleman at the desk was just that. Helpful and courteous along with a answering my every question and accommodating me with all the wares essential to be comfortable for my two night stay. Without a question the demographics are precisely right for everywhere you want to be. I don't like big cities, but it was simple to navigate anywhere from my room. Whether you wanna walk or drive. I recommend staying with these guys. God willing, when I return to town, my reservations are gonna be with these guys indefinitely. No need for me to search any further for quality service.

We had a great stay. The breakfast was good, rooms were clean. Unfortunately, one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the photos online showed a beautiful pool. However, when we got there, the pool was green on the bottom and very dirty.We were scared to swim in it. For a hyatt hotel, this is very disappointing.

The property needs an upgrade. Our toilet didn’t work and the shower was flooding so we had to switch rooms. The front desk staff (Malcolm) was great!! The rooms were not that clean but we made the best of it! (Thank god for Lysol and Clorox wipes) overall it wasn’t too bad. I wouldn’t stay again at this particular Hyatt but I’ll continue to stay with the brand

There was no restaurant called La Placery as indicated on the website. I chose this hotel with an eatery so I wouldn’t have to go out to eat. However, there was no eatery. I will not be back.

Stayed here with my two sons (who are in their 20’s) to attend a family event. Love that the rooms have a suite and pull out coach so all three of us had our own space. Beds were comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. And I liked the complementary breakfast.

The guy on duty promptly changed is to a new room once informed there was an ant infestationbin our original room.

Our room had to be reassigned due to the refrigerator not working properly but our final room didn’t have a microwave. There’s an elevator that is not functioning properly. Caused undue waiting.

Spend a little extra money and pick something else. The hotel was FINE. We got there 20min before check in - no room ready. The room was outdated and the bathroom was pretty disgusting. It was quiet and the bed was comfy so that’s a plus. The breakfast was HORRIBLE! No eggs, no gravy, no condiments, it seemed like they just put out whatever was extra in the fridge. We ended up having to leave and go across the street to Cracker Barrel. I would bet money we will never stay here again.

Understaffed so they weren’t able to provide room service even when I requested for one; the room was out of shampoo, and body wash when we first moved in, and the phone in the room wasn’t working, so I had go downstairs to ask for them, and even then they weren’t able to deliver it to my room and I had to grab it myself.

When I checked in my room, it smelled of mildew and menthol. None of the ice machines worked, had to go to the front desk to get ice The property offered parking but they allowed coach buses and work trucks to park in the front of the building and take up several spots, which left you with parking in the rear of the building where you cannot access the building due to the card authorization not being operational. I will never stay at this location or hotel again.

AC could be updated. Especially with a double room, the unit did not keep the entire area at a comfortable temperature. Especially in the middle of July. Otherwise everything else was great.

The property was fantastic. We went for the 4th of July and it was affordable, breakfast and staff was great. Easy drive into Atlanta without all the hassle and expense of staying in Atlanta. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone or any group.

The room was nasty and the bed had a washed over dubious stain. There seemed to be something wrong with the window as it was extremely humid in Georgia in the middle of July. The room was so humid that the carpet and sheets felt damp to the touch. I reached out to the hotel front desk about canceling my second night because it was not clean and they kept saying they were “busy” and to come back in a few hours. After finally being pushed off a few times, they finally got back to me saying no returns because I “had not let them know”. I don’t even care about losing the cost of the second night. I will absolutely never stay there again. It is dirty with terrible service!

Throughout our stay ,we were not Provided with a room key for our accommodation.Instead , the staff had to use a master key to grant access to our room each time.While,we appreciate the staff's assistance ,the situation caused us significant discomfort and a sense of insecurity,as it deviated from the standard expectations of privacy and convenience. We arrived and their card was broken so during several days the staff member needed to open our room door. On the last night that we finally had the keys the door wouldn’t open and they needed to fix again. The hotel is all but well maintained. Breakfast is normal, it has the basic things.

The hotel staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. The room (double queen) with sofa bed was very clean and roomy. Towels, bed and room were cleaned and changed daily! Breakfast was included and was great! Lots of options. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

On this app it says this hotel has laundry. IY DOES NOT! Stayed 7 days had to drive 30/45 minutes every day to wash baseball uniforms! Then I had a family emergency had to leave a day early and they would not refund me! Mean while the GM and her family were there in the lobby as if that was their primary residence. I’m sure there was a washer/dryer access to only them!

The service was great but everything else fell between the cracks. Our room was dirty, the key cards didn’t work for the rooms. The front desk had to walk us up to our room every time we needed back in. Also, it felt like the AC was out in most common areas. I would not recommend.

During my stay I was not able to get a key to my room due to a power surge wiping out the card machine main board. With all the craziness the staff was really helpful. I did not have to wait at all anytime I arrived and needed to enter my room they took me right away and opened the door. I dont know all of the staff names however Malcom was very helpful and pleasant to talk to.

Sheets & bed/bedding was not great. The shower curtain had mold. One of the two elevators were down. Breakfast was included but could never get up early enough to get it. So no opinion on that. All in all, just okay.

But it was the best room I had on my week away. I don't know if the price was because I booked so late it in the day, or if they just made a mistake.... But I recommend this place completely, and if staying in the area again, I'll stay here.

it was a clean room to stay. no complaints. everything as expected.

They placed a $50 hold on my credit card that is still there 3 weeks later. When calling multiple times to resolve, they can not help me, as my reservation is too old. They suggested I call my credit card company to remove their hold on my card.

They were not prepared for the number of guests at the hotel. They were out of bath towels, ran out of food 1/2 way through breakfast hours and started arguing with other customers who asked for more food. The gentleman who checked us in was great (seemed like the owner, or someone heavily invested in the success of the property). The a/c in the room made a horrendous rattle while running, which woke us all up multiple times each night. Pool was open, with pool towels available. Overall, it was mostly ok-ish, but would not stay there again if continental breakfast is important.

We had 3 rooms. One, the air conditioner broke. It took 5 hours, but they were moved to a new room. One room had no microwave or clock. The air wasn't super cold. The one faucet was broken. The mini fridge didnt cool. The trim fell off the wall, and there was no water pressure compared to the other rooms. Too much variation in rooms to ever recommend it. The breakfast was good, but they ran out one day.

Hotel staff was excellent though understaffed at checkin. AC wasn't working in our room and multiple calls to the front desk went repeatedly to useless phone tree. Went to front desk and verify professional desk clerk went to attempt to fix AC which left front desk unattended . Finally moved to different rooms. Hotel is showing its age a bit but room congratulation and rate I paid $107 was fine. Breakfast was also a nice variety and excellent.

The room was great. Although i dont know why we were given a handicapped room. The continental breakfast was anything but. It was one of the reasons we opted for this hotel. We went down to have breakfast which was supposed to go on till 10 am. It did not.There was hardly any food. I asked about eggs and waffles etc. The front desk said nope its all gone. And the waffle machine was broken. They were of no help and they were rude. Two ladies at the front desk went on to scowl at the people that were eating and complaining about the mess everyone was making. My opinion as well as some others. Get some more respectful and helpful staff. They are in the hospitality business after all. Will not stay there again.

Great stay

Our stay was excellent. The staff delivered exceptional service throughout our time at the hotel. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We were pleasantly surprised by our huge, spacious rooms. Our connecting rooms allowed us to enjoy a lot of family time together. When we got locked out of one of our adjoining rooms because we latched the door leading to the hallway, the entire staff at the hotel and the manager at home worked out a plan to get us back into our rooms at 2AM. Kudos to the maintenance manager, who used his tools to get us back in our room; and it was not an easy task. Our hotel was conveniently located near great restaurants, shopping, and recreation. Overall, I would give this hotel and staff a 10 out of 10. Thank you for helping us make phenomenal memories.

Comfortable, clean stay. Facility needs greater access to USB and power in the living and bedroom areas.

The room was great, but the only problem I had was the hallways were really hot and stuffy.

Staff were helpful and friendly, good bed, EXCELLENT breakfast. The only issue I have is paying to park at the hotel, I’ve never had to do that before, and the taxes Georgia charges guests to its state.

Staying here was an extremely disappointing experience. I called a few days earlier to get details about my reservation and they were unprofessional and unhelpful from the very start. I arrived from the airport to my hotel and they said there was a problem with Expedia and couldn’t let me in the room unless I paid for it again so I had to pay AGAIN using my credit card. This was why I called a few days early, to make sure that there was no issues but instead I was double charged. I was told the issue could be solved the next morning when the general manager came in. Surprisingly, my whole 3 day stay the issue was not solved and I never once even saw the manager! The room looked nothing like the pictures on Expedia. It was dirty, walls were peeling, the sofa was wet, the sheets were not cleaned, toilet was not flushing properly. The breakfast was cold and undercooked. For 3 days they served the exact same breakfast. No vegetarian options. No halal options. No vegan options. Looked like the meat from the previous days was just reheated each morning. Then I asked for my room to be cleaned on the second day of my stay but he told me the cleaners had already left??? Mid day? I didn’t question it and front desk wrote down my room number to have my room cleaned the next day. The next day, nobody came to clean my room. Basically my whole stay nobody cleaned the room, refreshed the towels or toilet paper, changed the sheets, or even ASKED a single time if there was anything I needed.

As a matter of fact, the customer service was top notch in all areas. We had a problem shortly after check in but it was resolved in less than 15 minutes. The rooms were clean , comfortable and quiet. There are plenty of restaurants/shopping within minutes of the hotel. The most impressive thing had to be the free breakfast. It was far above the usual cereal/donut/juice selection that’s the norm in other places. Will stay again when I make a return trip.
