Dirty room, no amenities in the room, nothing in the area, and they feed the feral cats around the property

It was fairly priced and close to the location needed The lobby was too dark, not estheticly pleasant, no restroom to use in the lobby. Advertised free breakfast, I wouldn’t call that breakfast.

We chose this location because it was near the Hyatt and had free parking.

Room smelled like dirty laundry and no shampoo or conditioner was in the bathroom. Staff was very friendly and check in was smooth.
- 3/5
Price was right on an expensive weekend (due to Football game), and bed was perfectly comfortable. But hotel is feeling a bit run down, and even though it isn’t that far from the stadium, the area is not setup very well for walkability. No real amenities at all at the hotel. The nearest bar to the hotel, there was no sidewalk along a fairly dark street, so it felt pretty unsafe to walk there for fear of being run over.
- 2/5
The room was not clean. The fridge had a pot witj
- 2/5
No real breakfast, just weak coffee and hot chocolate available. No kitchenware at all. Not a spoon. No coffee machine. Shampoo available at front desk. Place is okay if you just need a clean bed and shower for the night. It's inexpensive.

Toilet didn’t work. Staff fixed it next day but I didn’t notice until I came back to my room late. It’s very sparse. I think if you need a low cost hotel and understand it’s zero frills then it could be fine. I wouldn’t go back. The staff are lovely. My rating is the facility
- 4/5
It was a place to stay, a 30-minute walk from Levi's Stadium. It wasn't a spectacular room, but it worked for the Super Bowl. If I go to the game again at Levi Stadium, I'd stay again.

Seem like there was mold spots in the ceiling. Definitely multiple roachs in the bathroom and kitchen area. Beds were super stiff. Pillows were flat. Sheets were dusty and itchy.
- 5/5
The room was clean and I like the fact they a refrigerator in the room. If I could change anything in the room it would be the pillows because they were flat
- 4/5
Sataff was helpful, we had early check in. Dishes provided upon request and just a good simple trip with no conflicts

Clean room
- 5/5
Room was good... spacious and clean. The only thing i would adjust was the bed. It was pretty stiff. But for the price, great deal.
- 1/5
Day two brought roaches and unknown silver crawling thing. Day three brought an ambush from an unknown flying animal when the bathroom door began to open. After requesting assistance from the front desk, they were asleep. I provided all the information, the desk person said he’d come up and try to help. He never arrived. Beyond the smell, the hotel is in disrepair and no services were completed through the entire stay. No clean towels, trash remained and nothing cleaned.. , tears, mold and general filth. The health department may be required.
- 1/5
Be more on top of clean linens.
- 1/5
The worst hotel I have ever stayed at! Do not stay here it’s not worth it
- 5/5
Check in was smooth. Front desk lady was very nice. Bed spread had stains so that was gross. Other than that, all was good.

No tissue and the toilet leaked
- 2/5
Kinda dirty. Smelly. The “breakfast” was packaged snacks at best. I won’t be staying here again if it were the only hotel within 30 miles of my mothers funeral.
- 2/5
Nobody was at the front desk to check out. Just had to leave keys on counter and walked out. Also saw someone else left their key there too. Rooms are not the most clean. Guess you get what you pay for. Will never stay here again
- 3/5
The staff were very friendly. The room was ok. The bed was so uncomfortable. I could feel the metal from the mattress poking through. I actually hurt my knee and elbow on it. The refrigerator
- 5/5
Awesome staff and quiet place
- 2/5
The breakfast that was on the pictures when we booked, was not what was out. That is why we picked this hotel so we could save money on breakfast every day. This hotel was not worth the price. The room was gross and the pots/pans/ spatula/silverware they gave us were gross.
- 2/5
The plumbing was bad. The toilet kept backing up if you did more than 2 flushes a day. The front desk sent a mechanic to fix it but nothing seemed fixed.
- 2/5
The room was satisfactory overall, although several lights were not functioning. There was rarely anyone present at the front desk. Upon check-in, we had to wait approximately ten minutes before an attendant arrived. The following day, the staff member at the front desk did not acknowledge us; despite our greeting, he continued his conversation with the housekeeper and offered no response. Given this experience, we will look for alternative accommodations when we visit Santa Clara next year
- 5/5
Staff friendliness
- 3/5
I had cancellation without notification while my luggage was still in the hotel and my card was charged extra. I had to wait for a refund days after I left.
- 4/5
Clean room. The Staff was very nice and friendly.
- 1/5
Worst kept hotels I have ever stayed and experienced
- 5/5
Friendly polite staff
- 1/5
This is one of my worst experiences as a hotel guest. The room has not shampoo and you can hear all jinds noise easily around the room. The smells like boiled lamb meat. The worst is that there are no kitten cookware and you have to go downstairs to ask for the. There is no one on front desk most of time and you just have to wait there for them until they show up. One more strange thing is that the front door is locked even even at 10 am morning time and if you did not bring your key with you can not get in since there is no one in front desk. Very bad service! Obviously they do not really care about how the guests feel about these inconveniences.by the way, one guest truck window was broken overnight at our first day stay.
- 4/5
Having a kitchen & laundry is lovely. Expect the room to be empty except for towels so BYO soap, dishcloth etc. Accommodation is worn and hasn't really held up. Opening the windows is nice but the fly screen has massive holes. Trash everywhere outside is a real turn off. Staff are great but you have to ask for everything - don't appear to be proactive. Great location for walking trail and Levi's.
- 5/5
Very friendly & helpful staff

The stay was nice. It was just too quick to actually enjoy it.
- 4/5
The room was clean but a little dated, we were there for one night so it was fine. The staff were friendly and nice; they made the stay pleasant.
- 4/5
Faucet handle in shower was broke, toilet was running when we got in the room. I fixed it to stop running. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Good hotel for long stay
- 1/5
Pubic hair in my sheets. Broken Shower that didn’t work. And front desk staff that treats you like you’re an inconvenience to them.
- 4/5
Hotel room was very large and comfortable. The bed and pillows were excellent.
- 5/5
Great value
- 1/5
Looks great from outside but outdated inside. Single elevator that's clanky and oftentimes don't open if you are coming down from the 2nd floor. My wife is disabled so you know it's a problem. I left an inflatable leg wedge my wife use to elevate her legs after a long day and I called to see if they have it on their lost and found. I wasted some time to stop by this hotel just to be told that they did not find any and must have thrown to the garbage??? so beware. Make sure you get all your belongings before checking out or you'll be sorry. Lesson learned. For me I won't waste my money to check-in on this place again.
- 5/5
Quiet place to stay for the week, will keep coming back

Breakfast not available. Only packed bars 😒
- 1/5
The room seemed ok at first but upon returning from our concert we were going to sleep n noticed floor was extremely sticky n saw weird splash stains on walls upon inspection we came across many areas that haven't been cleaned or swept in a long time ! The blankets had hairs on them n didn't feel washed and theeennn the phone didn't work to call front desk so I tried calling from my phone nobody answered the phone. Very disappointed. Would not stay here again
- 5/5
Great reception!
- 1/5
The first thing I did when I checked in was jump in the shower and my son got into bed. I noticed it was dirty so I took a washrag and cleaned up the tub myself. During my shower I looked over to see the shower curtain was dirty. Gross. After my shower I asked my son to get in and he yelled from the shower "Mom, there's bed bugs, there's one on me." I pulled back the bedding to see super dirty sheets (dirt, hair dead bugs) and took a few photos of bed bugs. I called the front desk to tell them we were leaving and asked for a refund and he stated I would need to wait until Monday when the manager came in. After having hotels.com follow up, the manager declined my refund so I am moving forward with reporting to the county health department, the corporate office, and disputing the charge on my credit card. I wish I would have taken more photos but it was late at night and I was more worried about finding another place to stay.

We had a Good Stay Here…
- 4/5
Comfortable nice and clean perfect for sleep not noise
- 5/5
I strongly recommend this hotel.
- 2/5
Room smelled. shower tub had stains and found bugs in the room. try to avoid and the free breakfast is a joke it’s coffee and cold. You get what you pay for in the end. It a 2 star or motel level for sure.
- 5/5
Got the room for my cat while my apartment was being fumigated. He loved the high cabinets for perching and two separate views from the windows. He gave it 5 paws out of 5
- 4/5
Breakfast I think they can do better
- 5/5
The staff was amazing and courteous. Accessible to the 101 and 880 freeway and close to Great America, Levi Stadium, ATT Arena and local colleges.
- 1/5
Breast fast not available on the 2nd day. even when it's there its limited.
- 2/5
Only good thing it was close to Levi Stadium. No room amenities such as shampoo, lotion. Closet shelf was broken
- 5/5
The floors were very dirty. Threw away our socks because they were so black and nasty. Food? Only 2 muffins, coffee, tea, & hot chocolate options. Shouldn’t be listed as breakfast included when it’s only snacks. No ice available. All kitchen items had to be requested, very inconvenient.
- 2/5
I booked this property 6 months in advance and upon arrival was informed that they “overbooked” and my reservation was bumped from a king to a queen in large part because I wasn’t paying the increased rate for the weekend now that the property new it was an event weekend. Was still charged my full rate, not the rate for what would have been a queen at the time of booking.
- 1/5
We went for a concert at Levi stadium. Will never stay here at this location again. No ice machine, no blow dryers, no coffee makers in room. Made getting ready before concert inconvenient.
- 3/5
Staff at check in were friendly and fairly fast. At night the staff was limited only one member and it took a while to get his attention. Key card somehow stopped working and there wasn’t any access until it was fix. The rooms are perfect, but do have lots of wear and tear, a little spotted dirty areas, and bathrooms outdated and low flush/water drainage.
- 4/5
Good hotel to walk home from Levi’s Stadium
- 3/5
Frequeny Train goes by blowing their horn. Hard to sleep.
- 3/5
It was honestly just a basic hotel that we got for an affordable price for the night. Whoever the employee was at the desk on Saturday July 26th a midnight was UNBELIEVABLY SLOW. I understand some things take time, but I stood there for 40 minutes. Not only that, why was my ID scanned and full credit card information written on the same paper and laid on the counter in full view of anyone in the lobby? It rubbed me the wrong way. I guess you get what you pay for. Guess I didnt need to rush as fast as I thought I had to in order to make it there before midnight to check in. The room was fine, but the light above the kitchen had no cover on it and it was similar to a ling fluorescent light so you could see the guts of the light, and the light beside the closet corner you couldnt turn on or it would flicker like you were in a horror movie.
- 5/5
Good experience at this place

Moldy shower.
- 1/5
Really bad odor in the room and floor from the carpet. Train runs very close to the hotel and makes a loud noise early in the morning around 5AM. Neighbor had a cat that made an annoying sound all night.
- 3/5
It was ridiculous. I was on the 2nd floor with young teenagers running and shouting up and down the hall late into the night . As a single female I did not call to complain fearing repercussions of anyone finding out I had called. I did not feel safe and rolled the office table against the door along with the chairs and open the bathroom door as added protection . Third floor had loud banging and running around well past midnight. This is my third time in a room not a great experience so it will now be my last. Pay a little more for peace of mind
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful !
- 3/5
The rooms had very limited electrical outlets. The bathroom door was not your average door. It seemed to be a metal door that should be used for a utility closet. The breakfast was not it. Just pre-packaged muffins & granola bars with coffee. We only stayed here because we could walk to Levi’s Stadium within 20 minutes.
- 5/5
They allowed early checkin every time I requested & very friendly staff
- 2/5
The property was very disappointing. Breakfast was a joke, coffee and a choice of two different muffins, that was it. You,expedia needs to set minimum standards and soon.no toiletries except oneskinny soap bar no shampoo no conditioner among other shortfalls avoid if can but it was clean.
- 1/5
Nothing to like,
- 3/5
First room tv had been shattered and was not identified by the property. I had to.let them know and move me to another room. No one was at desk when i checked out and couldnt get a receipt and when i called later to have it emailed, they said i needed to go through Expedia.
- 5/5
Thank you !

Not much
- 5/5
Clean and in good repair
- 1/5
the woman at checkin was terrible, rude and very difficult to deal with. The manager and the woman had a conversation about someone on the phone at the front desk right in front of us while we were waiting to check in. Then the manager took the phone and had a long deeply personal conversation right in front of us while the woman watched him without helping us. when he finished the call then the woman turned to "help" us but was very rude.
- 1/5
Easily the worst stay in my recent times. Heavily understaffed so housekeeping is once only in 2 weeks. Special requests are taken but never executed. I had roaches in the room and only after I showed the manager pics they agreed to clean the room. Also no bodylotion provided plus day of checkout the elevator was down. Too many redflags, wont return and will remove this from my company list to use as well.
- 4/5
It was better than expected. No shampoo/ conditioner but I brought my own. plenty of towels and comfortable bed. Very close to where I needed to go.
- 4/5
There was a broken shelf and some spackle marks where it should be painted. Bed was suppose to be a queen and it seemed so little. No shampoo, lotion or hand soap. Price was great so it worked for me.
- 5/5
I always have to go early & always Staff always allowed early checking.. very friendly , once I wanted something to eat they gave me a muffin and bars at 2:30pm which they offer for breakfast!
- 1/5
Smells

The Extended Stay Hotel Santa Clara is very well located at North San Jose, between East and West Bay (South), with easy access to the main technology centers of the Silicon Valley. The hotel is clean and well organized. The room is elegant and practical for family and especially for work. It has good structure for longer stays with competitive price. Highly recommended.
- 1/5
I will never book this place again because the front desk was not helpful at all. The online pricing for my room was 106 but they charge me 114.52.
- 3/5
Poor amenities, no coffee maker, just soap in bat.
- 2/5
Customer service is horrible. They are never at the front dedk. I needed hygiene stuff and du a h soap snd they told me to wsit u til next day
- 1/5
My room have sticky floors, I have to ask the front desk to clean it again, train very close to the hotel and very loud
- 5/5
Staff is very helpful
- 5/5
Front staff and all their team members are very friendly ans moreover they always allow me on request early checkin .. ekandra front desk person is very professional and helpful !
- 1/5
Right now, I am in California for a business event that I have been preparing for over a year, after traveling from New York. However, the hotel is dirty, there was no hairdryer, and worst of all, there were bed bugs, which have severely bitten my neck and arms. I intend to file a formal complaint about this. Additionally, I have taken photos of the affected areas.
- 1/5
When we checked in, there were no shampoo in the bathroom. Checked with front desk staff but he said they dont have any. Dialed 0, no answer. Next day the morning staff said there were lots of shampoo in the stock room!

- 5/5
Good affordable stay. Easily walkable to the Niner game
- 4/5
It was fine.. pretty close to Levi Stadium.. which is what I wanted
- 5/5
Great
- 1/5
I did not see a worker other than when I stood there for a while to check in. No vending machines of any sort for a beverage or water. The room was in poor condition and not clean. Iv stayed in a lot of rooms and this was among the top 3 worst stays. Also the beds were uncomfortable which was the least of the problems.
- 5/5
We had a nice day. Check in was quick and service was great. We will be back. Bed was super comfy. Like the fact that it had interior entrances to the rooms.
- 5/5
Nice and quit
- 3/5
Was one of the cheaper options near Levi, you get what you pay for. Older facilities, beds were clean but the rest of the room wasn’t very clean. Walls so thin you can hear the neighbor snoring, very poor water pressure. Can walk to Levi stadium, take Great America otherwise you’re walking in dirt. Front desk staff were nice.
- 1/5
Terrible stay room had a wierd odor. Pillow cases were dirty and only had two pillows in our room. Moldy shower curtain. Terrible breakfast on had muffins and Breakfast bars. There was no sugar for the coffee. Room key never worked always had to get it fixed. Would not recommend staying here.
- 1/5
Check in time was at 3pm , we got here about 320pm only to be told there was no rooms ready. There was about 5 or 6 of us who didnt have a room, who had to wait about an hour plus for a room, just waiting in the lobby. We were all here for the 49ers game. The guys at the front desk kept giving different wait time to guests. We had to rush our trip to the game because of the hotel not being ready. The general manager didn't offer a room upgrade or discount for the inconvenience for over an hour. Very poor on management here. There was no Utensils in the room for our kitchen, rooms just left rushed.
- 2/5
I chose this hotel due to it's proximity to Levi's Stadium and I had stayed here previously. My experience this time was significantly worse. My room had been recently painted and the fumes were still quite strong, but it was the only room left. There isn't a lot of dining options nearby, so we walked 15 minutes to top golf. Not sure I will stay here again when I travel to see the Niners.

Awesome 👌
- 5/5
Cool. No complaints for what you pay last minute. But always ease of check in n courtesy. Forgot my idea but bc I stayed before easy for clerk to try to help check in from previous renting. Thank God he was patient and understanding made me feel ease to know I wasn’t turned away. Plus my room was great not bad at all
- 2/5
Property needs to be revamped. Severely outdated from the rooms, carpets, and the linens. Outside needs to be power washed
- 5/5
Friendly staff. area super quiet and felt safe. Rooms very nice
- 2/5
Maybe I was just given a room by accident that wasn’t ready but the room was not cleaned and specifically the bathroom was the worst I’d ever seen. Dirt and feces smeared all over the tile floor
- 1/5
Dirty floors in the hall and room. Not white towels. Thin blankets. Shower that didn’t drain…
- 5/5
This is the best value hotel in the area.
- 5/5
Good coffee, muffins & cereal bars for breakfast, easy to operate tv remote
- 4/5
Good value for what I needed at the time, room was clean and front office staff friendly.
- 1/5
Upon walking into the building there was a bad oder, it gets worse as you walk through the facility. The room was very run down and didn’t look clean, the ved was very uncomfortable, tiny pillows just a couple of sheets to cover yourself. The water from the shower was very low pressure and cold, the toilet didn’t work well also due to the water pressure. When I called the front desk they were very dismissive and not helpful. When I asked for a member of management, the attendant replied “there is no one to help”. It was a terrible stay.
