Bed skirt ripped and the towels were dingy and ripped. For the amount of money I spent I expected better.

Property was nice but very noise and the valet and lounge ambassador were some what rude. They were very pushy in regards to trying to valet park the car and taking our luggage up to our room. Neither is something my wife and I needed or wanted.

The carpet on the third floor hallways needs to be re-stretched. I tripped on the way to my room because of the lump of carpet that is loose.

There is no shuttle service to the airport. This would have been very useful for several of us that were there for a seminar.

The hotel has potential but parking is a major issue affecting the overall stay experience. The ticket system is not convenient and is seemingly designed to charge fees for loss or late check-ins

We loved the breakfast options in the mornings. We also loved the happy hour and choice of food offered. The staff was friendly and helpful. We could not check into our hotel room until after 7:00 pm due to "full house" the night before. I was waiting for a call to chevk into our room, but never received one. I had to go up to the desk.

Our family of 4 stayed for one night and we had a great stay! We used the pool which the kids had fun. They had cocktail hour for the adults with bar snacks. We ate dinner at the 1887 Social House and had good options for everyone. Friendly staff all the way around - Valet, front desk, wait staff, cleaning staff! Breakfast was included in our stay and it was delicious! Highly recommend this hotel!

My check in experience was good, receptionist was nice. She said my room was upgraded to the 6th floor which i was thankful. The bad experience began when i opened the door to the room! It smelled so bad, the smell of dog urine was so strong. I went downstairs to tell them to change me rooms, the receptionist told me that they had a service dog convention and that even if they moved me the other rooms would smell the same, horrible service!! She went to get the manager. Worst manager ever! He told me there was nothing he could do but to refund my money and look for a different hotel, he was frustrated and started raising his voice!! It was around 6 and most hotels were sold out! I had to suggest them removing the area rugs and to clean the room (which they never did no one went to clean the room!) thankfully maintenance was fast and he removed the carpet. Even maintenance told me the smell was bad! Removing the carpet made the difference! I took pictures of the carpet full of urine and the floor stayed dirty! This was supposed to be a great experience for my husband and son’s birthday. We chose this hotel because of the short distance to the Sod Poodles stadium. We had to stay due to not having any other choice, but beware of the horrible service!!

There was a bug on my pillow unfortunately they were completely booked so not able to change rooms no I’m sorry by staff just simply offered to come change the sheets. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the bell hops were wonderful and the breakfast was good.

The room was clean, they let us check in early without a fee. The shower wouldn’t get hot, the mattresses were sunken in the middle and too soft. It’s also very noisy, you could hear it anytime someone on the floor shut their door.

Our stayed was great . The breakfast was good . Only thing is that I did not get my $50 dlls back . We did not break anything, did not left a mess and we did not get the $50 back , the security deposit.

Manager blamed me for booking through a third party company, when they made a mistake on their end for my check in date.

The rooms are huge and have all mod con amenities. Located near the baseball park for the Amarillo Minor league team. Staff weee lovely would absolutely recommend

Disappointing

This is a great property but it is starting to show wear and tear. The door to the swimming pool doesn’t open, a patio fan is missing a fan blade, the door hinge of a the refrigerator cabinet is broken. I hope the property takes steps to fix these things. This is a great hotel, but these could be signs of decline.

We arrived late and left early - all the staff we came in contact with was helpful and friendly. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. It was roomy, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They have an amazing breakfast with a cook-to-order omelet station. We only stayed one night, but we will definitely stay there again!

Breakfast was amazing. Friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever met. Hands down the best. Needs to be an adult only hour at the pool and hot tub. Those were the deciding factors when I chose my stay, but I could not enjoy the amenities due to the dozens of children monopolizing the pool and hot tub. It was so packed on Friday that not one more person would have fit.

Horrible experience. Worst experience in a hotel. Booked our reservation 2 months in advance and showed up 3 house after check in and room was not ready and had to wait for 1 hour after driving 9 hours with young children. Staff blew off the situation and when escalated to the manager Mark he threatened to kick us out of the facility for simply bringing up the issue. First review I’ve left but this hotel and staff are horrible. Would not recommend and will never stay at this facility again.

We ordered dinner to eat in the hotel room and it was fabulous! I loved the complementary glass of wine. This hotel is very family friendly. My boys liked each having their own bed. One slept on the pullout couch and they each other their own TV. The hotel was very clean and nicely designed. We have stayed here three times and will definitely stay here again.

There is nothing downtown and no reason to charge $33 for valet. The room setup was nice but the fan was soo loud in the room. No hand soap not even a bar. We asked for some downstairs and they said they were out , that is just gross to be out of soap. The beds were so uncomfortable, worst night sleep! The mini fridge was hot. We tried to call the front desk and they would not answer the phone. Then the breakfast--- this was the worst part of the trip. They actually had soda machines but all the sodas were flat and the omelette was soo bad l. The eggs were filled with water and the sausage was So bad and had a nasty film on it an my Kids hate the pancakes They said they were hard and gross

Night shift front desk staff validates our parking but the lady in morning shift refused to validate our parking, saying it wasn’t included in our package. Loading and unloading front area has a strong unpleasant smells

The room was large & clean & the breakfast was good! I only have a tiny complaint & that is there was no soap by the sink in the bathroom so every time we had to wash our hands, we had to step into the shower and use shower gel. Also, the room didn’t stay cool all night. Both nights it got warm around 2am.

The whole hotel smelled great, we loved the drinks and snacks at happy hour, and appreciated the drinks for our kids as well. Breakfast was great, and we enjoyed the fountain drinks as well. We were extremely impressed with the room service, that made us feel like all of our needs were met, and care was actually put into our food, compared to another Embassy suites hotel that we have previously stayed at in Oklahoma city. We did have some issues with our refrigerator not working in our room, and an issue with our shower, and they fixed it right away while we were out for a while. That was exceptional for our two day stay. The parking situation was a little odd, but we didn't end up having to pay for it like we thought we were going to. We did think the check in time being at so late at 4:00 p.m, and check out time being at 11:00 a.m was a little odd, since we were so used to different times at other hotels.

Check in was slow and awkward. You could tell our room had housed a dog(s) there was dog hair in it. The rest of the place is nice. Breakfast was good.

If I'm being really picky, the shower head was leaking and the breakfast wasn't the greatest, but that won't keep me from staying again or recommending the hotel to friends. Overall it was a great stay.

The check in experience was poor.

The parking situation was frustrating and not explained adequately. We were given key cards that did not work, were given 2 more cards, one worked on the room but neither worked on entrance doors - I had to come in the front entrance every time. The room issues; one light flicked on then went back off, the toilet seat was loose, the shower handhelp mount fell off during my shower. Breakfast was advertised as cooked fresh, made to order and ended up being a mediocre buffet. Had to wait in line for about 15 minutes to check in. I reserved a King bed was given a room with 2 queens. I was asked if I wanted a room on the 6th or 5th floor, I said 6th, we were given one on the 5th. It was a nice room. I expected nicer room with no hassles in a Luxury Hotel at that price.

Very welcoming and kind staff, amenities were up to standard. The only complaint were the cleaning staff only picked up the towels but never replaced them or made the bed. The shower head and bathroom sink were pretty dirty as well but overall satisfactory.

Room was good. House Keepers were extraordinary nice. However, found your bar keepers not very gay friendly. Still, I left over 20% tip on my tab because these are working stiffs.

I was driving through Amarillo during the holidays. Booked this hotel last minute after my first selection was not acceptable. City was sold out everywhere. I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel.

I decided to book here because of the reviews and the fact it had a pool for the kids. When I spoke to the staff about using the pool they said that the pool was used for inappropriate things by the high school students that stayed the night before which is absolutely disgusting and I spoke to the manager whose name was Mark. He said he can go ahead and cancel the book but as far as a refund I would have to take that with the book and company I went with which at this point is just a poor experience. The manager stated there was nothing that can be done and that the poor is an amenity that is optional and not forcely included. I would recommend staying at any of the other great hotels with great reviews who are happy to make sure you have a great stay before running away with your money once they have it.

The beds, however were hard and uncomfortable and the lumpy pillows were just as bad. We did not sleep well at all. Parking is $33 for a single night in AMARILLO. Not New York City, Amarillo. I’ve paid less to park in a 5 star hotel on Michigan Avenue! Do not recommend and definitely will not return.

Our room was spacious;however, the mattress was horrible and the noise level of the cars racing from 12 midnight to 4 am prevented any notion of a good night sleep. The trains ran constantly and disturbed our sleep. Perhaps thicker windows, soundproofing. We had to leave before breakfast was available☹️

Everything was fine except for two things: (1) the lobby and bar areas are nicely appointed, but they seem "dead" due to the lack of music playing in the background, and (2) the ridiculous trouble I had to go through to get my car out of the parking garage across the street. When I accidentally left something very expensive in the room, I tried calling the front desk for multiple days with no answer. I finally reached out through the Expedia app and was told nothing was found in the room. I know for a fact it was left there, and when I repeated that, I was met with, “as previously stated, nothing was found in your room.” Very unhelpful and frustrating, especially after trying to get in touch with someone for two days. If nothing was found, where did it go? Did it just disappear into thin air? I was hoping the hotel could hold it for me until I passed back through a few days later, but instead I was met with terrible customer service and complete dishonesty. We will not be staying here again.

Clean comfortable

The Civic Center is directly across the street so if you are doing anything there it's perfectly located. Being a downtown area, there is nothing going on after 4 pm or so on week nights or weekends at all. We didn't see any food options within walking distance but there is a restaurant onsite. Parking is available across the street in a garage (kind of expensive) or on the curbs around the building (free although it says 2 hour parking during business hours, don't know if the parking people come by to check/ticket). Overall, a really nice place to stay - rooms were clean & have a nice layout.

Staff was friendly. Definitely a fancy hotel. The lobby floor permeated a strong old-lady perfume smell that gave my hubby a headache, but thankfully the floor our room was on didn’t have that awful smell. The pool and hot tub were very nice, although the pool was cold. The pool area has a shower/rinse area which was a great perk! Room was clean and well laid out. Beds were comfortable. Water was warm to hot, no cold. Breakfast was real food cooked by real people with staff waiting to take your dishes and wipe your table when you finished. Very nice experience.

My hotel view from my room suck. Omg.the scent on 1st floor was too potent and the scent choice is yucky --change to something light The smell in the gallery was too potent and gross smelling. Very nice hotel with new fixtures. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very large with a seating area and desk. The linens were good quality and the bathroom was a nice size. The toilet is VERY VERY LOW which isn’t great if your knees don’t work well. The laundry had 3 washers (unfortunately they are front load) and 3 dryers, they require an app to use them, the app requires a minimum of $10 to be added but a load of laundry only cost $6 so I’m not sure how to get the remaining $4 back. It seems like a bit of a scam.

Room was good; breakfast was good; service was great; street noise was troublesome. Ac in room would not shutoff unless temperature was raised. Either the room was too cold or too hot. Hot tub was out of commission. Pool looked a little dirty.

Breakfast and all staff at that time, was great as usual, only issue was the guy bar tender was a bit of a jerk, ignored us while we waited for drinks. Later in the evening there was a lady bar-tender working alone and she who was so nice, attentive and sweet.

Just what I needed during a long vacation trip on my way home. Super clean. Wonderful staff. Nice breakfast.

Staff (young man) greeted me outside and asked if I needed help with luggage, and I responded yes please. He brought a rack for my luggage, and asked if I wanted Valet parking. I responded no I’d self park. He then walked away, and did not help me with my luggage as he had asked prior. He was standing in lobby why I struggled pushing the cart in. We had a room for 6, and only 3 towels, and front desk made us co d back down to get them. I was told no staff to bring it, but the young man that didn’t help me was standing around..

We had a Studio King suite. It was very clean and nice. The few things I found uncomfortable were the pillows- sorry but they felt all chunky like the My Pillow. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom. It’s a beautiful place, the bar, restaurant, lobby and valet were great!

Included breakfast was very good. Hotel staffs were friendly and room was clean.

PS What I didn’t like is parking experience: we came late, and the 3rd party company with valet parking was too “selly” for $32/night - they gave me 3 options on parking, including parking outside, but didn’t mention (I suppose intentionally), that I can self-park for free on the hotel.

The outdoor area look like it was rarely cleaned in terms of picking up glasses and cigarette butts on the outdoor tables. So that is why I give the cleanliness a 3 but as I said, I enjoyed the room and thought it was nice

Mini fridge didnt work in our room

It was the best stay we have had in a while. The room was ice cold which is exactly how I love it. The ice machine was empty but that is most likely because guests fill up their coolers with it. The bar downstairs gave me some ice for my room. Overall we were very happy with our stay. Would stay again if we ever find ourselves back in Amarillo .

Excellent but a staff member was yelling at children in the lobby for touching the water fountain which was really unprofessional.

I was a great stay except for a couple of items. 1) several of the ice machines were broke 2) there was no soap or shampoo in the shower dispensers. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and experience. Breakfast was one of the best on our entire trip. We were there for a Sod Poodles baseball game and the stadium was just across the street, making it a very convenient location for us. Will definitely stay there again when in the area

The elevator door closed on me, hurting my shoulder and neck.

They upgraded our room to a premium king (I assume because we are Hilton Honors members & they had room). Everything was great except that they only had decaf coffee in the room & no regular to bring us.

Vert nice and convenient spot. Everything was in walking distance. Only thing I think they can improve on is the explaining on how the parking works.

The service was great but had issues with AC. Our last night ac quit working in the middle of the night and started to work exactly at 1045 am. My parents were staying next room over and had same issues with same results with the AC not functioning well and off in the middle of the night and starting back up at 1045 am prior to checking out.

Very friendly staff. Very beautiful lobby, with nice large rooms. Tasty restaurant with good breakfast!

Parking costs money but the stay and staff was awesome. Worth it!!

Room and hotel are not well kept. Room was not kept stocked with essentials, bathroom hooks and thermostat barely hanging to wall, musty smell in room. ,

We love this property as they have an excellent valet option especially when I have the car full on a long road trip.

This is a very nice embassy suites, will for sure stay here any time I am in town.

Everything was wonderful except the air shut off when temp was reached where other hotels always ruin the fan. Air was heavy in the room, when AC stopped running. Wish it had been on so maybe we would not have been woke up by the baby crying somewhere and later a dog whining until it was taken out.Not going to any more dog friendly hotels. I love dog, but not when trying to sleep.

Very clean and quiet. Busy in the lobby but the rooms were a joy to stay in.

The building and room is perfect. I was warned not to park in the street because of crime. Had to park in city garage. Otherwise great property

My room was not cleaned at all by house keeping. I checked in Friday afternoon. I left the hotel at 7am on sat morning. Came back around 3pm sat afternoon and my room was not touched. very disappointed.

Enjoyed our stay very pleasant and very hospitable

Great stay, just our keys stopped working for the room, and was never fixed, had to get cleaning lady to open it, glad she was around!

Everything was perfect nice and friendly people. Hotel clean and we loved the breakfast a big plus. Only part was the area to play corn hole in the front needed cleaning was super dirty at least swept for being the front of the hotel.

Booked this for our family to attend our daughters college graduation. Staff is amazing here. 100% recommend if you are looking for perfection. Thank you to all at this location!!
