    1st room AC was not working and front desk stated they had no other rooms Sent maintenance who had no clue they then found another room to move us to then the key cards would not work I had to go back to the desk two times. Only 1 elevator working. No ice machines working Poor stay

    I arrived fairly late and the property felt extremely sketchy, like a lot of people probably lived there week to week. There were people wandering around the halls carrying hard alcohol bottles. The entrances and exits were not well marked. The room I stayed in did not even have the curtain so people were able to see through the shears into my room. I arrived with a three year-old, which did not help. I had to drag my bag through a rough Gravel parking. It was just not a place I would ever stay with a child again. I do not recommend this to females traveling alone or with children. The pool was not operational and looked like it may not have been for a while.

    We chose this one because of the pool. We go to take my 6 year old daughter to the pool and find out it's closed for 4 days because of the chemicals. The manager was not friendly and did not care at all. The air conditioner in the room was old. It was also blocked by an Wal from circulating. Our room was so hot all night even with it set on the coldest setting.

    I had a miserable stay, the AC was not working correctly. The unit also was positioned to where the vent blew the curtains up and the parking lot lights lit up the room quite a bit.

    All sheets in the room were stained and as well as the curtains the staff got upset when I told her my room smelt like cigarettes and if I can have a refund but said I couldn’t cause the sheets were messed up cause I checked for bugs in the mix of that I told her that they have signs of no smoking if so they’re gonna get kicked out but the whole hotel smells like cigarettes and weed, very sketchy hotel with people outside and inside all hours of the night overall this place is extremely ghetto and trashy.

    We chose the hotel online based on the reviews and when we entered the hotel, it was hot dark and dirty. The front counter staff was extremely rude. When we entered our room, it smelled like mold and the air conditioners were exhausting into the lobby area. The air conditioner in our room would not cool properly and was absolutely filthy. Even though we paid for our room, we made the choice to leave and return the keys and never returned. We would highly recommend that no one ever stay at this hotel, and I personally feel that it should be closed permanently. There were bags of trash sitting in the hallway as we were trying to enter our room. The entire place was nasty and should be reported to the health department. Even though we paid for the room in advance, we took the loss and moved on to a much cleaner place. We felt like we needed to take a shower when we got there to get that awful smell off of us.

    We ended up getting a different hotel. We left before check in. Many sketchy people were living there. One resident was arguing with staff about being kicked out. Dirty lobby and outdoors area. We ate the loss and left. It was so bad

    Staff was helpful and accommodated an early check in time for us. Property was clean, but dated. The AC wasn’t helpful at all, and made it muggy and difficult to sleep. (In their defense they had signs on the doors saying they were working in AC units in each room.) The complimentary breakfast was fresh and yummy. We would stay there again.

    Only stayed one night room was very spacious. One elevator was broken so I had to walk all the way around the third floor to get to the room or take the stairs. It was nice to be offered breakfast TV only played one channel didn’t feel like calling down to have maintenance come up room had other awesome stuff like the refrigerator sink, mini stove and some utensils easy check in and out places just off the freeway sushi place and pizza place next-door. Would stay again.

    As for the hotel itself it was super humid inside. The indoor pool isn’t separated from the rest of the common area so it’s super humid in there. Would be good if they added some ventilation to get fresh air into the common area. Unfortunately this made the room humid too. Thank god for the AC. It took all night but by the time morning came the humidity was down to normal. Other than that, the staff was great. The breakfast was good. They had a killer ranchero sauce. If I’m in Amarillo again, this place will be on the list!

    Ac didn’t work we slept in the heat went down to the front desk and the girl tells me oh there’s not much I can do I only have suites and I have to keep those free for people passing by then I ask what about us that already paid and she says sorry so we left a whole day early so we paid for two days but only stayed for one very dissatisfied with this place

    The room was in poor repair throughout... sink clogged, ac unit loud, parts hanging off, curtains torn,. There were 3 police units and an ambulance sitting at the front door when we arrived for a "domestic violence" call. Throughout the evening several men stood outside our window smoking Marijuana which was sucked in through the ac unit and we're fairly certain the motel was being used as a homeless shelter for men.

    I was very intrigued. I felt like I walked into some places kinda magical. The decor n lighting were very eye catching. The staff were very friendly. The room we assigned was very spacious and clean. Breakfast ladies were very nice and friendly. I will definitely stay here on future trips to the Amarillo area.

    We loved this hotel, it was so unique in that it looked like we were outside yet it was inside. The rooms were large with a full kitchen. The breakfast was more personalized than your average hotel tiny buffet. My only complaint was the tv’s were hard to work but the staff came right away to help.

    We also tried to relax and watch TV, but only one channel worked while all the others were static. To make matters worse, there was someone in the common area with a crying baby until after midnight, making it very difficult to sleep. Overall, the stay was disappointing and not very comfortable.

    Poor customer service at check-in. There was an issue with the key or breakfast ticket, I don't know. The front desk agent would not communicate with me as we just stood there after she handed my ID back and confirmed the reservation. A solid two minutes passed with nothing, I thought there was an issue with my card or something but again, since she didn't communicate anything, I had no idea. Additionally, she kept socializing with an off-duty employee that was hanging out in the lobby. This person came up to the desk, interrupted my check-in, and asked for two room keys for herself. The agent stopped helping me to give her those keys and continued socializing. When I finally checked into my room, I settled into unpack and relax a bit. A couple hours later, I'm standing in the room in front of one of the beds when the room door abruptly opens to reveal the same front desk agent with another guest barging into my room, no knock, no warning. This is a pretty egregious error and I felt extremely uncomfortable the rest of the evening. All she said was "oops", closed the door and left. This was in no way worth my money, even for the brief stop I had in town for the night. It looks like this hotel used to be a fun place but between the staff and most of the amenities inaccessible, I would recommend scrounging a few extra bucks for a Holiday or Hampton Inn.

    Clean room. Excellent breakfast—which was an unexpected bonus because breakfast was not mentioned online. Loved the full size refrigerator. Wish the room decor would have been brighter—the ceiling was very dark (black?) and rug was also dark. The stairwell smelled like pee, with a discarded beer can and cigarette lighter there. We had to carry our luggage quite a ways because of a broken elevator.

    One of the side doors closest to my room wouldn't open. As a woman, coming in in the night hours, this is especially important to have fixed. I had to walk a while to the next and HOPE that the door would open. Upon getting in, the elevator on this side of the hotel didnt work. So I walked with my dogs and bags across the hotel to the other elevator and waited with a couple other people. Atleast they do have stairs close to the outside doors. Breakfast was nice. Room was clean.

    The room appeared clean however you could definitely tell it was older property by the paint and the fact is was just outdated. There was a strong smell of marijuana near the rooms. The back door was blocked off and I didn’t notice any parking lot security cameras in the back or on the side of the building.

    Leslie at the front desk was always AMAZING. Patricia at the breakfast counter was as well. Thats the only positives. The rooms were ok, you can tell this hotel has been though some bad tenants. But the lack of security was my issue. This is a non smoking facility but I assume the staff only worry about cigarettes but there were multiple times when I had an adjoining room, I had to put a towel under the door to prevent a contact high from my neighbors. Walking down the hall to my room was almost as bad. My wife would come with me every other week but she couldnt walk outside to our vehicle without cat calling and being approached by other tenants. She never felt safe. My last week there, I called the desk on Monday asking for one extra pillow and a pan (mine was missing from my kitchenette). I received the pan on Wednesday and after even speaking to the hotel manager, I am still waiting on the pillow. As I said before, it started out great, the price was great. The longer I stayed, the worse it got.

    We called other hotels and they said that if the Fifth Season is full, there's not anywhere else to stay in Amarillo. Which came as no surprise, as we were scared to leave the car unsupervised just to check in. We had to drive over an hour to the nearest small town that had availability in the middle of the night.

    Air conditioning was great. Staff is always great. I have put off statung that the parking lot always has trash in it. Noone makes an effort to clean it up. This last visit they had certain clientele that openly smoked dope in the parking lot. Were loud and disruptive at all hours. Sevwral guests had loud dogs that was never addressed. Even with onsite security people were left to run free.

    Everything was great as it usually is. The staff, the rooms, the area, the rooms. Except it has become increasingly common to have to make multiple trips back to the front desk to rescan our room cards. They stop working sometimes later in the day and sometimes immediately upon checking in. The door scanners are obviously outdated. Also, something i have been hesitant to bring up. There is noone policing guesta to make sure they do not smoke in their rooms. Sometimes what they smoke is not legal....get my drift. And if i am given a room with a conjoining door, well we get the smoke as well. If you havent guessed, i am a non-smoker.

    Air conditioning has always been great. The parking left alot to be desired. I own an 18 wheeler. I oftentimes park it at the hotel. However, there has been an asphalt company staying there full time. And as such they have taken up permanent residence in the parking areas for larger vehicles. Even going so far as to separate trucks from their trailers just to keep others from parking there. I have witnessed this first hand. I have had to make other arrangements for parking based solely on their actions.

    They think that they have done a renovation on this place. They have not. Other that the friendly staff, there is nothing to like about this place. The street sign is on the wrong side of the driveway and there is no hotel markings on the building or inside the building. Am I in the right place? The photo on Expedia shows a Motel 6 sign that is falling apart. That should have been a clue. The ground floor room had a rear door to a dodgy unpaved alley and the room key didn't work on that door. In the room the ceiling is low, as is the bathroom counter, toilet and shower head. I'm not a tall guy but I wonder what size of person this room was built for! On checkout they had coffee to go but even the coffee cup lids were small (didn't fit the cup). This ranks on the worst three hotels I have ever stayed.

    Loved staying here. Some staff could use hospitality training, others are pretty cool. The new manager walks around and treats everyone the same and as if this was a five star hotel. Breakfast is getting better and better and you cannot beat the price anywhere! Plus I don’t get any hassle for having my animals. I’d stay here again and again.

    The back of the bathroom door was ripped and torn, possible from a dog scratching to get out. The chairs were well worn out. The curtains were barely hanging on. The plate in the microwave was "wonky" but serviceable. However, the bed was clean and comfortable.

    This is an older property so the current owners have been improving the lobby and common areas which looks modern and great. The rooms are still in need of upgrades which we understand it takes time and capital. Some quick fixes are 1. Switching out the toilet seats so it doesn't look scratched up and worn out which will give the bathrooms a cleaner feel. 2. Also, change rhe carpets to regular floors like laminate. The rooms used to be smoking and non smoking and now it's all non smoking. However, the carpets still held on to the cigarette smell. I am very sensitive to cigarette smells so I can tell that the upholstery in the room still had the smell of smoke. Besides that, the staff was very friendly and pur stay was pleasant.

    Aged building, probably used to be an amazing place to stay. Clean enough for us to get a few hours of sleep before getting back on the road. Our room smelled like a pet store. Normally wouldn't have accepted that, but we were too exhausted to complain.

    I appreciate that there was free parking not too expensive for a three nights day, I was a little bit fussy that the carpet in my room had a little bit of leftover food from past customers looking like chips or trail mix on the floor, and the pool did look a little bit bubbly to were it almost looks like Whale sperm in the pool and the hot tub wasn't even on or working to where I was kind of bummed out, and my key card did have a couple times to where it wasn't working all the way to where I had to go to the staff to ask them to fix it for me a couple times and it does suck that I only got one breakfast card for a three nice day which I had to save it for the final day in order to eat in the morning before I checked out before going for a 4 hour drive back home otherwise I give it a 7 out of 10 four stars

    The parking was terrible for my car with all the holes in the road and large bumps. The sheets were stained like they didnt get changed and so was the towels. And towels and towels eith holes in it. The floors and floor boards were disgusting. The table wasnt wiped down. There was stuff in the refrigerator. Terrible!!!

    2 weeks after Christmas and Christmas decorations were still up. Building not marked as 5th Seasons. Still distributing Motel 6 soap. Noise lounge area. Seal around backdoor to room allowing outside wind to blow into room. Breakfast used a ticket stub to obtain meal consisting of eggs, toast, bacon , cereal, juice and 2% milk.

    Okay location 1. The heater squealed all night. I had to turn it off. Squealing at midnight does not equal a good sleep. 2. TV required manual intervention to correct input selection to work. Every time you turned on the tv. 3. Coffee maker did not include the tray to put coffee in so hence no coffee. 4. No soap or shampoo in the bathroom dispensers. Very disappointed

    Good price, convenient location off the highway, check in and check out were easy. I don't want to be too scathing here as this motel seems to be a family business, the young lady who checked me in was perfectly pleasant and the price is obviously great for a budget but the space and vibe of this place are very strange. Just feels a bit run down with the addition of strange blue lights everywhere, room smelled like smoke and someone was placed in the room directly next to us - could hear every word said in their room as well as their television late into the night. My coffee maker was broken, toilet paper holder broken, they give you an all in one face/body/shampoo/conditioner wash in a very industrial feeling pump in the shower. I've stayed in a ton of different types of accommodations including open air barns and mud construction homes that felt cozier/safer. Just a very seedy feel here. Not my first experience like this with the Motel 6 franchise, may be done with them honestly. Just doesn't seem they maintain any very caring standards of hospitality/cleanliness/comfort at their properties.

    Lady checking us in was rude. We never got a ticket for the included breakfast. And was rudely talked to by the lady running breakfast when we were asked if we had a ticket. The closet smelled of mice and something like mice kept me up scratching on something all night. The room was extremely dark when all lights were on. Then bright light came in from outside when we turned them off.

    This is a renovated old hotel. The air conditioner didnt really cool the room down and was humid because of the indoor pool. The mattress on the bed was really bad. The floors felt sticky on my feet. I slept maybe 4 hours out of exhaustion from my day. It's a $60 a night hotel. Maybe I'm expecting too much. Next time I'm in town I'll spend $25 more to be comfortable. On a side note: breakfast was alright. A nice lady makes you a plate of eggs, potatoes, and sausage. She'll make you a couple slices of toast. There is coffee, orange juice, and apple juice.

    They’re also very pet-friendly 🐶. I brought my little 4.5-pound pup and while there isn’t a dedicated pet park, the grassy islands in the parking lot and areas out back worked great 🐾. The hotel is a bit older, so don’t expect luxury — but for the price, you get hotel-level comfort at motel-level rates 👍. The only downsides: unclear signage at the front 🚏 (it’s easy to miss) and rough driveways with potholes 🕳️, though it looked like repairs may be underway. Overall, clean, comfortable, budget-friendly 💵, and pet-friendly 🌟 — I’d happily stay again!

    This was our 2nd time staying at this particular hotel. Well, you get what you pay for. The important thing is that the sheets and the bathroom were clean. Some of the exterior door locks were nonfunctional and wouldn’t let us enter with our key card. Also, every single day we had to get our room keys reactivated. The first room had a tv that wouldn’t work. Had to change rooms. 2nd room the microwave didn’t work. Most of the ice machines were missing. And half the elevators were out of order. So, not sure we will be staying there gain.

    First of all we got there considerably like due to uncontrollable circumstances and we were very tired we're pulling in what's the parking lot has hose the size of craters so I had to be very careful with my new car I go in and I explained who I am never once did I ever read I was going to have to pay a deposit so the young man explained and it was okay with me he guaranteed that I would have it back as soon as I checked out so we get the key and ask him where it's at we go to the room to enter after having to swerve so many hoes in the parking lot that could swallowed my car I depart several feet away to get to it we go to open the door we can't open the door from outside we have to walk considerably a long ways to get around to the front to walk through to unlock the door which we were not happy at all over that he never explained that bring it in the room the room is considerably nice yes they have redone that motel and I liked it but then I didn't I'm there was a great big old whole crater in the wall due to somebody kicking the wall the commode it was so outdated it wasn't even funny. You have the money to redo the whole entire place but you never wanted to touch the bathtub or the commode that's not good because come out she was from the 1930s we get up the next morning and there's no breakfast no where to get one in there unless you want to pay an ungodly price we got two drinks $12 so we decided to leave. This is a choice I will not make again at this place

    The room was perfectly fine. But if I didn't have the curtains drawn over the windows then I could see the middle atrium of the whole hotel. Unfortunately that environment was in the center of the entire hotel and created the entire atmosphere. Meaning, that no matter what time of day it was everything always look the same. So it was very strange to check in and check out and feel like no time had passed kind of even though it had I found that to be very odd. And I didn't like that there was no Bell service of any kind no offer to help in any way with all the bags.

    The middle atrium/lobby where the the pool is, is hot and humid because the room air-conditioners blow hot air into the enclosed areas. The rooms dont actually get cold, gets cool at most with it running nonstop all night. If you like a cold room, this isnt for you.

    Our room was disgusting. There were dirty hand prints over the walls in the room and bathroom. The hot tub was drained and looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The pool looked like it had a film on it. The lobby chairs were stained. The floors were dirty and the hotel as a whole was very run down. We switched rooms and were still unhappy but unfortunately could not find another one short notice.

    Dated hotel, but fine for a one night stay during travel. We stayed here on our way to our final destination and on the way back, we stayed here again. Dylan and the front desk was nice. There's a dine in pizza hut next door which was convenient and the staff there was friendly. The hotel isn't the cleanest, but can't expect too much for the price. It's a great price especially when we need two rooms for our big family.

    The pool was closed and the hot tub was as well. Didn’t say anything about it on website and didn’t offer refund. Had one pillow per bed. We stayed four night and not once did they come in and get trash or make beds or towels and wash rags. We had to go in and ask for more and put ours outside for them to even be picked up.

    The photos are misleading. At one time, it was a nice property. However, the physical condition of the premises was horrible, there were guests blocking the hallway drinking alcohol and the elevator had a warning sign regarding "human trafficking". NOT a great experience.

    We were not able to stay here. When we arrived the clerk at the desk gave us a list asking if we lived in any of the towns listed. This was all cities and town within over 100 miles including ours. Because we lived in one of the towns we were not allowed to stay and refused service. This was something we were not aware of before hand and it was not listed anywhere on the hotel site. We had to leave and got stuck trying to find a room last minute all over town.

    It’s a bit dated, maybe needs a facelift. The price was good but the pool was out of service, the first room he booked us smelled of cigarettes due to it having back door access. The complimentary breakfast was ok. It’s a bit dark in the main area. Other than that the shower was nice and hot with great water pressure and the rooms were clean. The fridge was a great size as well, with a freezer that was exceptional in getting our freezer cubes frozen for trip home.

    The entire lobby, which was beautiful, was unbearably hot, so much so we couldn't eat our complimentary breakfast. We were told the a/c hadn't worked in years. The pool and spa were also out of commission. Thankfully our room was cool, spacious and clean and our stay just one night.
