Do not stay here. Beware!

When we walked in, the desk person was talking to a friend/family member sharing phone pics and didn’t immediately stop and get to us. It took about 10 minutes to get us checked in- unknown why. We got to the room and the refrigerator was making a clicking noise and the toilet was plugged. We asked for someone to tend to the toilet and was told someone would be up right away, but after 15 minutes we went to the desk and just asked for another room. It was ok, but there were water stains on the ceiling in the room and bathroom and the bathroom fan didn’t work. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but ended up going somewhere else the second night. Also, breakfast ends at 9:00. People on vacation don’t want to have to get up do early so we skipped it.

The room didn’t look like the room we booked or what was explained in details. Super small sofa sleeper that had a yellow stain on the mattress. You could hear everything in the room above you, guests walking around their room at all hours which was the most surprising and annoying thing about the stay. I’ve never had that issue in another hotel. We picked it as it had a 4 star review, I have no idea how. Our stay was incredibly uncomfortable. We had been driving for 10 hours and my kids and I just wanted to sleep so I didn’t even complain. Floors were not vacuumed fully.

My grandson loves the pool. That was his favorite part. I enjoyed the queen beds.

Room: Good bed, cold AC, good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast: Average - No tea or extra condiments. Eggs were cold Breakfast: average at best and no tea bags or condiments such as hot sauce for eggs, which were cold. Thankfully there was a microwave

Convenient to interstate 40 the property is a little bit rundown but not in a bad neighborhood and happens to be right next-door to a steakhouse

We were traveling out west and needed a place to stay. As always, I checked Expedia and look for properties that are both well rated and are within my budget. Just property scored on both of those criteria.

I made reservations for her through Hotels.com. No where was it disclosed to expect any additional fees. Did not see it on your site either. I would NEVER have booked a nonrefundable room if I had any inkling that there could be added cost.

Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and quick to help. Pool was nice. Parking was a little weird due to location. Overall really nice stay for me and the family.

We booked 2 rooms with double queen beds 1 of the rooms had bed bugs, woke up with bites following morning. Floors were Not clean little fridge did not close properly Do Not recommend. They said they were short staff, we had to ask for change of sheets & change them ourselves.

Our room was nice and clean. The most comfortable bed linens and pillows I've ever slept on. However the toilet seat was extremely loose and the faucet had a steady drip. The breakfast was good, but it needed some meat. No sausage or bacon. They had scrambled eggs, what I'd call southwestern potatoes and white country gravy, but no meat. What the heck this Amarillo Texas. Plenty of parking. All in all we had a great stay were up and gone a little before 7:30.

When I went downstairs to speak to staff about it at first I was offered a new bath mat for her to put on the peeling paint but finally they moved is rooms. The new room was better tub, but the vent in there was caked with dust or dirt. It was solid brown. The bathroom sink was slow draining. It would fill up before you could finish brushing your teeth. The blow dryer was only half way plugged in. It wouldn’t stay in the outlet. The thermostat was not in Fahrenheit. It took us a little while to figure out it was in Celsius so had to have my 12 year work that for us to get a descent temp in the room. We went to swim late in the afternoon. When I went to ask for extra towels to shower, the front desk clerk asked where were our towels from earlier. He made me feel like we were stealing them. I told him we showered in the morning but no new towels had been replaced. He finally went and got us some. Price was a little high but I guess normal for nowadays. Just wish places would be like advertised. I mean paint coming off in a bath tub.

They have a new policy that if you live less than 80 or 85 miles from the location they are gonna charge you a $300+ deposit for the room.

The breakfast was great! Loved that the pool was heated, but the hot tub was disappointing. The jets barely blew and the whole pool area smelt like sewer and feces. The pool area was not very clean. We had got this motel specifically for the hot tub and the fact it t didn’t work was a bummer.

Check in was an absolute nightmare due to discrepancies in listing. The hotel blamed hotels.com and vice versa, so who knows who is actually at fault. The front desk was unwilling to listen or attempt any sort of resolution.

What stands out is the young man who checked us in! So sorry not to have his name, but he was the essence of courtesy, friendly and helpful all rolled up in one!

The pool was out of service, the rooms could be updated. We stayed for 3 days and housekeeping never cleaned our room, even when we asked front desk to have it cleaned.

Everything was horrible. The room was humid and smelled HORRIBLE, the vents were covered in mold. The shampoo was empty, the carpets were disgusting. The breakfast was nonexistent, pool was disgusting and everything in the fitness room was “out of order”.

The room was mediocre. It was clean, but the fridge did not work, the bath tub had no plug so only showers… the shower head had calcium buildup so badly that the water pressure was not there and I had to use the strongest setting just to be able to get enough water out of it to wash my hair. Then the small things… both shampoo and conditioner bottles on the shower wall were out so I had to go downstairs to ask them to replace them. The tissues were empty, but I didn’t worry about that one. There are places on the wall that were kind of patched up, but not correctly. But, with all that being said, the beds were good and pillows were okay as well. For the price, I feel it was worth it. Also, the location is in a good area, I felt safe, so that was a huge plus!

Could have been cleaner. The remote control was missing and the TV was messed up. Then the fire alarm went off at 7 in the morning because someone burnt some toast at breakfast.

Pool was out of order. Couldn't watch the world series. Had to be moved to another room because the TV didn't work. Breakfast area smelled like burnt toast and stunk up my clothes.

We asked to change rooms, which Christi easily obliged. The comforter was better the pillows and towels didn’t smell very fresh. Bathroom mirror frame noticeably needs to be touched up with paint. Rust spots on bathtub need cleaning, yes there is a product that can take out rust or replace the tub. Headboard needs to be cleaned and polished. Looked like someone was “getting busy” against it. The rooms just need someone to get in and clean all the nooks and crannies.

They had the best biscuits & gravy of any hotel I've ever stayed in. It was delicious and tasted like homemade.

Hotel was some what clean, bed was comfortable but the lady that does the breakfast was it helpful saw that food ran low and did not get it refilled until 29 minutes after it was done! She looked angry the entire time!

It was good except the pool was not open and we booked for the pool. We didn’t know until we checked in and no refund was given even though nobody informed us that the pool was closed. I looked online and indeed it said it was closed from July something to August something, but I never received an email letting me know this with the option of rebooking at a different location or even a voucher for another time. The stay was good, although some of the things in the room were run down or broken but we just needed a place to swim and sleep. Overall it was good.

It was dirty the bed was uncomfortable as hell! Felt like the mattress was about 20 years old! Carpet & bathroom floors & walls were dirty a hole in the wall corner going into the shower from it being exposed to water. We were only there to sleep a couple hour so we could get back to AZ earlier in the day after we had already driven 12 hours from Indiana. Went down in the morning to see if they had any coffee in the morning & the girl setting in the chair behind the counter was asleep & someone else had already been through there & left their key on the counter. It took quite a bit of noise for me to get her attention to wake up. Definitely did not feel like a very safe place.

Check in was quick and easy. The staff was great! Breakfast was good. I had to do a late check out due to my family being sick and they worked with me on that! The staff was very kind, friendly & personable. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stay with them!

Cheap but a bed for the night. It’s a tired hotel. Pool closed. Everything a bit old and well used

Great property right off the freeway. Easy parking with excellent bright lighting. Check-in was fast. Owner politely offered to store our expensive bikes (two) in a locked storage area for no additional charge. The morning attendant (Christie) was very helpful in checking us out, and retrieving our bikes. All and all, a great stay. We will be back!

The email I had from hotels.com said I had a king size bed in the room, but the computer at Sleep Inn my room had 2 beds. The staff would have switched us, but there weren't any rooms available that had a king size bed. I am just glad that they tried. I love staying at the Sleep Inn!! Its conveniently located to places I want to go.

Was surprised how nice the room was. I was especially happy with the walk in shower. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I will be staying at the location again. Easy on and off the I40.

Was suppose to accommodate for wheelchair but when arrived was told there was no wheelchair accessible rooms, felt disrespected when asked to provide certification for service animal even after explaining all paperwork has been packed due to out of state move (also is against HIPAA) so ended up paying an additional $50 more than originally quoted through Expedia. I would not recommend for anyone with special requests

You get what you pay for

Hotel isn't in the best tip top shape but its homey and the owners are quick to help in any way they can. Everyone is very friendly. My little family enjoyed our week long stay. We will be back.

Stay was ok besides the being accused of smoking/vapeing in the room once my mother got there for a daytime visit/swim, husbandand i felt as though we were being followed by management each time we exited the building to vape/smoke and again upon reentry. We didnt appreciate the constant side eye while being met with a friendly smile from us each time we entered the building. Was an ok stay just would have been better without the drama. Was clean, didnt eat the breakfast.

The good- If you are looking for a friendly, clean, convenient (next to hwy) hotel with no frills this may be for you. The not so good- sink was cracked, indoor pool was very cold and hot tub barely warm, bfast ok (no bfast meat). Price was right for rolling in late during a thunderstorm.

I have stayed at this property several times when needing to be in Amarillo… This time by far was one of the quietest and calmest times I have stayed. The staff was very accommodating and very cordial up on arrival and I had a very peaceful night.

The woman at the desk was kind and got us checked in, once we entered the room, it was not what we expected. The lamp shades on all the lamps were busted and stained, the bed skirts were stained, the bathtub had rust stains, the microwave wasn’t plugged in and couldn’t reach an outlet, the tv remote wasn’t working. We decided to see if we could just cancel our reservation and get a refund.

The property musty and damp. The room smelled very heavily of cleaning solution. Had to leave the door open in order to breathe. Bathroom did not have an exhaust fan.

Our room was horrible. Our TV was broken. When trying to have someone fix it, he was rude and hateful about it and didn’t believe that there was something wrong. (it kept automatically switching to the analog snow screen every few minutes.) Then, the desk chair was broken in a leaned back position. To top it off, our air conditioner was not functioning. The room unit was set to 65, but the thermometer on my alarm clock showed it was 79 in the room. We slept terrible because we were so hot!

Absolutely disgusting. The stench in our room was a combination of dirty diapers and old lasagna. I was sick too my stomach all night. We slept on top of the blankets because it was so gross and dirty. I did not even bother to take a shower or eat the ice or breakfast. The room with the ice machine had about 2 inches of water. I will never come back here again. It should be condemned. Trust me. The night clerk was absolutely adorable and so sweet.

Booked ahead figured for the price I would get a decent hotel Definitely not! Got there late so went up to our room. No bathroom door, hot tub jets didn’t work and when I did take an awkward shower the shower drained to the second drain in the middle of bathroom floor. I get that they probably took door off because they stuck us in a handicap room but dangerous for water to be all over the floor and not drain properly. Then breakfast looked raw and dirty. Definitely would not recommend way too much for this cheap hotel at a way high rate $200 for the night

As soon as we arrived there was a man blasting loud music out of a portable speaker. It looked like he was begging for money. We didn’t like the fact that he was in the hotel’s parking lot and were hesitant to leave our things in the car. We arrived to an empty lobby and pressed the button to be helped to check in. 15 minutes later someone finally arrived. The room was dirty and old by at least had a comfortable bed which is what we needed. To our surprise, there were no full size pillows just small square pillows. We asked the receptionist for more pillows, and he said he would help us but never did. Overall, poor customer service and will not stay in this hotel on our way home. We have already booked another hotel in hopes of a better experience.

This is an affordable place to stay, therefore you get what you pay for. The building does need a retouch, is not the most pristine but good enough for a stop and recharge. It was quiet, room had enough space, breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly and welcoming, no complaints.

It’s a comfortable bed and it’s quiet and everyone is friendly and the best eggs I have ever tasted but not sure if they clean your room while you stay there or if I was supposed to ask for it, because I stay two weeks with three day not there in the middle with no freshening up the room with towels or anything. But overall a good place to stay. I just got to figure out the freshening up the room part lol I guess I could have asked lol oh and one other nice thing it had a nice laundry room to use especially when it’s snowing outside and you can’t go anywhere.

Went to meet our sister who was bringing us a puppy. The Bathroom in the hotel looked like it was recently remodeled but not finished and the light in the shower was strobing. The heat was set on 68, but it was so hot in there, if we turned it off, frozen out bums off. They accepted pets which was nice.

This was an absolutely great room and property!! To be honest, it was up there with a Hilton to me. The rooms were large and nicely done! A bonus is that there is an outback steakhouse on the side of the hotel which is super convemient. I will awlways stay at this location in the future!! Oops, the price was good too!

Nice, clean, close parking. Staff was very nice and understandable.

The beds were really comfortable and overall the folks there just made it relaxing and comfortable. I felt at ease

Breakfast was lousy. Looked like scrambled egg whites.. and some diced potatoes... No meat. Totally disgusting place. Should have walked out but I was to tired..Traveler Beware.

Finally, we did get only a single bed room even though we paid for a Standard 2 queen bed room. Facing these situations during the night time and that too with the kids is more embarassing.

Thjs Sleep Inn is clean and convenient when traveling east on I-40 through Amarillo. We stay here each time we are passing through.

While the property was conveniently located, the thermostat didn’t work well, the hallways smelled so bad that we wore face masks, and the breakfast was sparse and abysmal. There wasn’t even enough food for a full plate, and what we think were scrambled eggs looked like poorly-cubed tofu.

Room clean...

It was a comfortable bed. Hot shower. The fact that they allow pets is ok but when you put a dog that barks all night next to a family without pets is annoying.

A nice place for a good 1 night stay. Convenient location, and the rooms were clean.

Check in wasn't good at first and the breakfast wasn't good. The rest of our stay was good. Next time the ownerof managerneeds to keep comments to himself.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. It was perfect for our night passing through town.

Breakfast was hot bu no bacon or sausage. Beds very comfortable, but all pillows were too large. Wish hotels would give a mix. Pizza Hut and steak house were next door.

asked for a king, was given 2 fulls....the lighting in the bathroom is terrible...no stopper in the sink....the shower roof is peeling....the trim on the floor in the bathroom is coming apart...the bathroom door is broke at the handle...stains on the floor....marks on the wall....the spray for the waffle machine does not work at all. husband tried to get the mix off of the top and bottom machine. the next mans happened as well. told the kitchen lady and she said that they won't buy good spray. told the desk man and he said that they have house the same brand spray that goes with the machine. IT DOESNT WORK. we will not be staying there again.

I like the friendliness of the staff, and the quiet, clean property. I do not like the limited spaces of the parking lot, and I prefer hardwood floors instead of carpets

The facilities feel very new and everything is very clean. I enjoyed using the exercise room.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean.

Once i went in(very dark outside, due to an electrical problem) the lobby was very nice. The receptionist was nice and helpful. Rooms were great, clean, updated. Breakfast was fine. The rates were great. Definetly recommend.

Hotel is exactly as described on website, love that its pet friendly for our Duncan.

Only ok for a quick sleep. Run down ie: peeling wallpaper, missing caulk, dirty carpet. Saw 2 German cockroaches when I got up to the bathroom at 2am and turned on light. Outdoor lights inoperable. Kinda didn’t want to park there. Beds ok though, shower clean. Cheaper than most chains
