The staff were friendly and helpful. We were unable to use the pool for the majority of our stay due to some water issue and our 1st floor room in the second building had a beautiful view of the pool, but you could hear EVERYTHING in the hallways/entrance and it was hard to sleep well.

However, the hotel itself is disappointing. There is no breakfast, and no kitchens in the rooms, so expect to eat out for every meal, and the restaurants right around Disneyland are expensive. The hotel only has Netflix, Youtube (and for some reason, pandora) as apps on the TV, so you can't watch Disney shows, which is what my kids wanted after seeing the characters in the park. Our bathtub had hollow spots under the vinyl, so it would pop in and out when you stepped around while taking a shower. The staff was friendly, but they only clean the rooms every other day, and in our case, they didn't refill shampoo or soap in our rooms, and those ran out on day 3 (of our 6 night stay). So great location, but disappointing property.

I like that it’s small and feels cozy very much adaptable & so extremely convenient The staff rudeness, especially the pirate cove area . Very hounding and they don’t seem to like their job and it shows rude to children of small ages .

Excellent place. Pricing is good for the area. Downside is I had to stay at the pool while my 6 year old swam because his 16 year old brother wasn’t old enough according to the life guard.

Staff upgraded our room as my littles shouted its mommy and daddy’s anniversary. We had a lovely time at both pool and pirates cove splash pad. I love that they hire out a third party life guard staff and take incident reports seriously even if but for a small slip or scrape. Having the ability to select late checkout for a bit extra is a nice perk. Just wish the amenities opened earlier in the day. 10 is a bit late.

Our family of five stayed three nights for a Disneyland trip. The walk to the parks was manageable for our kids (7yrs and younger), and we watched fireworks along the walk at night, and had a great view from our room. Our kids loved the waterpark and bunkbeds. Parking was a little difficult to find the entrances when coming in, but the price was fair ($25 per night). We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location on the corner with no hotel on one side. A quieter section with restaurants and food just a few steps away and a beautiful short walk to the entrance of Disneyland. When you walk out of the hotel you are literally staring at the monorail. There are spots closer to the entrance than this place but they are packed in tight and busy. Even with a water park we never heard anyone the whole stay and our check in was easy breezy and they let us in our room early which gave us time to enjoy more of the parks. I recommend this place 10/10 times. I only gave 4 stars overall because nothing is perfect but everything else was outstanding. Will stay here again for sure!

Absolutely perfect in every way! Short walk to the parks, clean, convenient, comfortable. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the area. My four year old said he’d rather play at the pool and splash pad than go to Disneyland.

From check in to check out our experience was amazing. Close to the park. Close to I-5 and the water park was perfect for the littles. Allie at the front desk was so helpful and our cleaning staff were all so amazing. This is the perfect place for families.

This was the third time we stayed in this hotel while visiting the Disneyland Resort. The location is fantastic, i.e., within a short walking distance to the park and to many restaurants. The splash pool was great for the grandkid that we took to the park (5 years old) during each of the trips. The front desk staff was very helpful, even when I contacted the hotel a couple of times prior to our visits to ask about ammenities. I will stay here again. However, we were dissapointed during this last trip because, no one came to our room the next day; our trash cans were full and the tissue dispenser box was empty. Since we are both environmentally concious adults, we appreciate when hotels do not change bed linen and towels every day, every three days will work fine for us. However, we expect the housekeeper coming to our room on a daily basis and ensure trash is removed, and that we do not need refill of expendable amenities. Straighening of the bed sheets is not critical, but will be appreciated.

What I liked about the property was that my kids enjoyed the waterpark, playground. And it’s right across the street from Disneyland and a variety of restaurants to choose from. When I got to the room I was booked for i had multiple problems like very steamy shower no cold water to take bath. Mini refrigerator not cooling my beverages and food. Not feeling the breeze from AC unit even though it was ON very stuffy room. And Wi-Fi not working properly

My family and I had the best time staying here. The water park was so fun. The rooms are so nice and clean. Our view of the parks was perfect and we were able to see the fireworks from our balcony. Walking distance to the parks. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

The main reason this place is getting 3 out of 5 is because of the lifeguards. There were times it was just me and my family in the pool and they never took their eyes off of us, they just stared straight at us, never looking away. If they needed to let someone else in, one of them even walked backwards toward them while staring straight at us. I’m glad they take their jobs seriously, but there were corrections and “friendly reminders” every few minutes. It was exhausting and down right weird. We swim in pools a lot and have never felt so micromanaged before, we really couldn’t even relax and enjoy it. It would make since if it were just my children swimming alone, but when 2 adults are with 2 children it shouldn’t be so extreme. For this reason we would not go back.

This was the closest hotel to Disneyland that had bunk beds for my children, which was quite convenient. The room was large for the four of us. The downside was that we were so far at the back of the building. Also, the bath and shower are not the best, assuming it was made to suit toddlers (shower pressure was very light). If you have young children, make sure you bring a stroller no matter what, Or prepare for a 10-15 min walk to Disneyland entrance.

The water park feature was perfect for my kids. 10 months to 7 years. My biggest kid probably won’t have fun if she gets any older. Proximity to Disney was great. The room setup was nice. Kids loved the bunk beds

The waterpark was definitely a bonus/hit for us. Overall, the stay was quiet and went well.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was great and I really appreciated their two pools and lifeguards on duty. The walk to Disneyland was easy. My only critique is their convenience stores pricing was outrageous. For example, a pint of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream was on the higher end of $14. I can understand paying a tad bit more than normal since it’s a hotel shop but more than double the price of normal for items was a bit much.

Check inn was fast, clerks very welcoming, , our room in building 2, family of 5, 3 kid's, room is spacious, impecable clean, lots of room for the kid's to play around, my best favorite feature was beds, so comfortable, we had very good nights sleep. The area is nice, plenty of parking but we where told we could also park in the hotel just across the street in case we didnt find a spot, both hotels belong to the same chain. Ine big pool and a splash area for the kids, kids had lots of fun there, another thing we loved Disneyland park is just a 10 minute walk or even less, we never saw security on the premises but they have cameras all over and we never felt unsafe, we walked back from Disneyland at midnight. Tv has online features so we could access Netflix for the kids, overal we had a wonderful experience, extremely comfortable, extra fun for the kids, just across Disneyland parks, clean, spacious, definitely we will choose to stay back in the future.

Room was clean, bed very hard. Water park feature smaller than described, and there basically is no pool despite photos making the kiddie pool look like a pool. Some staff nice,‘others clueless. No extra tp in our room and housekeeping only every other day. Bed was pretty hard but overall our needs were met.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you are going to Disneyland. It's very affordable considering it's only about a 7 minute walk to Disneyland. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The kids loved the pool and water park on the grounds. I would definitely stay here again.

A bit suprised by all the 5 star reviews that I relied on. Beware if you have a stroller they have no elevators. The WI-FI is terrible, room was never cleaned and the hallway and bathroom smelled like pee.

At the time of check out this lady was so rude. She has no smile on her face she was standing at front desk as someone force her to stand there. No thank you nothing. No slippers no bath robes . They said they gave balcony room but has no balcony. During check in there were some hair in toilet. There were few stains on blanket.

Check-in went smoothly, and our room was ready earlier than expected. The room was clean upon arrival, and my kids always enjoy the splash pads and pool. It’s also an easy walk to and from Disneyland.

Hotel was pretty good. Kiddos loved the water park area. Our building had a strong floral odor that was very over powering every time we entered the building. No restaurant on site and NO continental breakfast offered.

We were in the “park view” deluxe room which was a 4th floor in building 1, had views of the top of the Matterhorn but not much else. Unfortunately Disney wasn’t doing fireworks during our stay which was why we wanted the view! Our room seemed to be recently remodeled and was reasonably comfortable. The grounds/buildings were in less than stellar condition and the in room coffee came with powdered creamer. Overall not an impressive hotel but for our stay it offered great value (kids pool, close to Disney) and the price was very competitive with the other options around. The Mimi’s Cafe is in the parking lot of the Marriott across the street. There is a small convenience store on site.

The elevators in building one only had one working. The push button to open the doors from inside the building to go out also didnt work. The staff were very friendly and informative, they offered wheelchair assistance with a partnering company that rents electric scooters for our disney trip and we saved some money there. The water park area for the kids is outstanding, the kids really enjoyed it! Did not use the laundry area or the heated pool. The cleaning staff are super friendly. Overall the hotel was booked for our disney trip and it worked well for our first time being there.

Convenient to Disney. We were in building 1, and we could see they made bid efforts for noise reduction, however it is still not enough. If you stay avoid building 1. Pool and splash pad were fun. Bracelet policy for them is a little over the top, not that much fun that outsiders are going to sneak in.

We’ve stayed here twice for Disneyland and it was perfect both times. My only complaint at all is I wish the pool had a hot tub. But beds are so comfortable, everything is clean, quiet and friendly staff!

The waterpark seemed nice, we didn’t use it because it was a little cold. But during summer this would be great.

On another occasion, our kids were asleep when housekeeping knocked at the door. We politely asked if they could please return in around 45 minutes. They muttered something in Spanish, walked off, and unfortunately never returned. That said, all other staff were courteous, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay, as usual. The amenities were great for kids and the location/proximity to attractions was excellent.

We booked the Baby Shark themed bunk bed room, and our daughter was absolutely thrilled with it. It’s a clever touch that gets the kids excited about the hotel itself, not just the destination. It was clean and the staff were excellent. We were under a very loud family and we could hear everything they did. We were next to an elevator that kept our kids up all night. The waterpark is for very little kids.

It was our first time staying here and we loved it! The walk to the park was a breeze compared to some other properties we’ve stayed at! maybe a 7-8 min walk. We stayed with our 2 year old and we loved the subtle Disney art in the room. We stayed in Building 1 in a 2 queen room at it was very spacious and clean with a little fridge which was helpful to store toddler snacks. Parking is $25 +tax which sucks but is standard for most hotels close to Disney. Will be staying here again!

The room walls were very thin, could hear the neighbors talking so loud in the middle of the night, the AC would randomly turn off and make the room super hott then wed hsve to turn it on again. The water pressure for the shower was terrible, and the tub width is very small. I would stay here again for convenience purposes only because I have a toddler but not worth the price we paid. They also charge $30 for early check in, which is fine.. but our room was already ready and available and still charged us. Barely saw staff cant really comment on them but were nice at check in.

Just a quick walk to Disneyland the hotel was extremely clean, staff friendly, and lots of close restaurants. The suite we got had all needed amenities, perfect AC, and blackout curtains.

I really enjoyed the hotel and was pleased with our room on the bottom floor next to the store. However, we faced persistent technical issues during our stay. For four out of five nights, we had no Wi-Fi or cellular service in our room, which caused significant inconvenience. Despite contacting the front desk daily, calling the Wi-Fi support team, and submitting multiple tickets, the problem remained unresolved until our last day. When my husband was sick and we were confined to our room, I stressed the importance of having Wi-Fi or access to YouTube and Netflix on the TV. Only then did the manager visit our room, verify the lack of Wi-Fi, and help us connect to the guest Wi-Fi. While they were assisting us, a resident across the hall mentioned he also lacked Wi-Fi. This widespread issue made it very difficult to order food, arrange rides, buy tickets, or call family, forcing us to do these tasks outside or away from the hotel. Addressing these connectivity problems promptly would greatly enhance the guest experience and prevent such frustrations in the future. It was a nice walk to Disneyland, and there are lots of food options within walking distance. The pool and water park were very clean and enjoyable.

I have never stayed at a hotel where every employee was in a great mood. The grounds and rooms were clean, the pools and water park were awesome and the location to Disneyland was great and you can watch the fireworks from both pool areas!! We will be back!!

We stayed in a 2nd floor room with two big windows that cannot be covered and it was lit up by the pool at night and bright as soon as the sun came up in the morning. They should have warned us about this during check in when they asked if we wanted ground floor or second. It was not ideal. The bathroom fixtures were old and corroded. But other than that we were satisfied.

We loved the retro vibe of this hotel! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel, lobby, hallways, and room were impeccably clean. Our kids loved both the Garden Pool and Castaway Cove! The walk to the Parks was easy. We can't wait to go back!

Customer service is superb!!!! Walk to Disney from here in 9 minutes or stay in to watch fireworks from the balcony here!!! I will stay at this incredible hotel anytime I’m visiting swing now! The stay is more than worth the price!!!

We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. I found the bed and pillows comfortable, amenities satisfactory, and convenient location in proximity to Disneyland. Staff were helpful and friendly. My kids enjoyed the pool and waterpark. We had a suite with two bathrooms, one queen bed, bunks and a pull out couch which was ample room for our family of four (plus extended family to congregate). My only criticism is the bathroom was a little bit dirty/worn and would love to have better coffee available on site! All in all I’d say the rooms are priced fairly compared to others nearby and I would recommend staying! My kids and husband agree it was a great experience.

Need to be modernized. Buildings are old and need lots of renovation. The pool chemistry was not good. The staff made up for all negative stuff. The kids loved the water park and the staff. That’s what really matters.

Overall we had a pleasant stay here. My little one had a blast at the water park. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, beds were comfy. The only complaint I would have is that the bathroom has a motion sensor light that would sometimes turn off if there was no movement. I had it turn off on me while in the shower. It's about a ten minute walk from Disneyland which was also convenient. We would definitely come back and recommend this property.

AC wasn’t working when we arrived. There were spiders on the bed. The shower water took forever to warm up. Lots of noise from the freeway which was right next to our room. Staff was very helpful and friendly though.

There was some work being done while I stayed but it didn't bother me I didn't hear them. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I have a trip again soon to Disney but will look into other options. I've stayed at other budge friendly hotels nearby that are far way cleaner with parking included. Their selling point is definitely the water park area.

So from what I was told, you want to make sure to get a room in the number 2 tower. We were in building 4 and it felt crammed and outdated. The room was hot and smelled badly of sweat/water damage? Honestly, I have no clue what the smell was but it wasn’t pleasant😑 The one positive thing I have to say about my experience is that we were located right next to the water park and my kids loved that! The on site store was very overpriced imo compared to other surrounding hotel’s stores. If I had stayed in tower 2, perhaps I’d have a different opinion, but I can say I won’t be staying here in the future and we go to Disneyland 2-3 times a year. *Also a huge deal to many*** Our building did not have an elevator. I think only tower 2 does, so definitely make sure the building you get has one if it’s necessary for your trip- we had a double stroller and an electric scooter so we had to have our room moved to ground level😑

The staff was super nice but the room wasn't so great. We found blood on our pillow and fitted sheet. Honestly it grossed us out. The bathroom was so dated and smelled weird. I wasn't too happy with the room for the amount we paid. Also, sucked that there was no elevator for our room. Again, staff was friendly. Just not happy with the room especially with my kids touching everything it grossed me out. We are traveling back in May and most likely won't come back

The rooms and grounds were clean and the staff was always friendly. This is our second stay here and we've decided after this trip that this is our forever hotel for Disney trips. We had put in a request over the phone to be placed near our traveling party and not only did they accommodate, but we received an upgrade as well. We finally tried the water park and our kiddo had a blast. This is the ultimate hotel for our family for our needs.

Always clean. Smells so good as soon as you walk in. With a stroller and two kiddos walking to the park takes ten minutes tops. Water park is awesome for my kids. 4 and 7. And the big pool in the back. All the staff go above and beyond.

Extremely central location. Across the street from Disneyland plenty of food options all within walking distance. Once I parked my car I never had to leave. The pools were in good condition. There are two options a large pool, 5 feet deep and then the little water area with a pirates ship, and Jacuzzi. The rooms were really clean. My only qualm was there were two windows that you could not close leaving light into the building all night. This would be on the second floor of the fourth building. There is no way to close those so just be aware if you don’t like light ask for something on the first floor.

The water park and pool were wonderful for our kids. We had a great time coming back from the Disney and California park for a break in the middle of the day for the kids to go and cool down in the water park. Then we would head back out for a night shift at the parks. It’s a fantastic facility if your looking to be close to Disneyland.

We stayed in a room with a queen size bed and bunk bed. The bunk bed was squeaky on the top. The shower didn’t get very warm at all. In addition to paying to stay at the hotel, we had to pay $25 a night to park at the hotel.

The room we had literally hung over the highway, with a balcony door located inside the closet which let in cold air and extra noise. The room was cheaply decorated and had multiple holes in the walls, the space was pretty small and cramped because all the cheap furniture in the room. The staff skipped over cleaning our room, with two kids, we were overdue and this became an undue inconvenience. When I called for new towels at 2pm, I was told they will get them to us when it’s possible. The bathroom walls were spattered with toothpaste, I think? Lastly, they adhere to a strict checkout time; we were over due by 20 minutes with no less than 5 knocks on the door. Where was that promptness when our room needed to be cleaned or we needed towels. Late checkout is an additional fee. There’s a store on the first floor, coffee maker in the room and a small splash pad for children, don’t expect any additional help.

The splash park was perfect for our toddlers during breaks from Disneyland. The store was open and fully stocked with anything we could need! The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice. The property as a whole is very well maintained. Just be aware that if you stay on the second floor in their older buildings, there are no curtains on the arched ceiling windows so you won’t be able to sleep in if that’s what you’re looking for. It worked out well for us because we are early risers anyways.

The fanAC in the room didn’t work so our room was stuffy and warm. Despite the room being cleaned on our second day, not all towels were replaced and the tissue box was out and not replaced.

Great place. Haven’t stayed here since 1985. They have done an amazing job of updating the hotel. Staff very friendly. I was concerned with freeway noise since we were close to the freeway. But we couldn’t hear anything. Beds are very comfortable too. Yes I will be staying here again.

Further away than advertised and no breakfast or fruit it anything

It was annoying to have a lifeguard standing so close to the hot tub. I get it’s good to have a lifeguard but it felt like you couldn’t relax with him hovering so close and listening to conversations. Also, if you have a kid under 14 you have to be IN the hot tub. I’m all about parents being responsible but I don’t get why I had to be in the hot tub and couldn’t be 3 feet away in a chair watching my teenagers, especially with a lifeguard right there! For that reason alone I don’t think we would book the HOJO again. It seems like it’s best for families with young children.

Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room is extremely bright, you won’t be able to sleep past 6:45 a.m. if you have trouble sleeping in light rooms. The pillows are extremely high, the bed is very uncomfortable, and the shower is horrible. I will never stay here again.

The property is well‑maintained, feels safe, and has thoughtful touches that make the stay feel genuinely cared for. One of the biggest highlights is the location. The proximity to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure is unbeatable — our walk from the hotel to the park gates was only about eight minutes door to door. It made getting in and out of the parks incredibly convenient and stress‑free. It was the perfect place for a quick getaway, and we’ll absolutely be returning the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

The room smelled mildew very small would rather pay the extra $50-$100 for a better hotel. Hard to turn the shower nozzle off and on. Bathroom was way too tight and small. Staff was very friendly. That was the best part. Other than that it needs some major remodeling and TV entertainment choices TV was outdated Wi-Fi was horrible. Our room had a small TV compared to others. Bedskirt had stains on it. Pillows were very uncomfortable.

Check in was easy. Staff super professional and willing to help. Answered questions and received recommendations and very polite. The room was clean, just a little rundown. The bathroom vent was not working, so when we showered it was very steamy and we were unable to leave the door open to ventilate since the smoke detector is right outside the door. I did call the front desk and they had someone come fix the issue. Handyman was very polite as well.

What a fantastic hotel for a trip to Disneyland! This property goes that extra mile to ensure your comfort and safety such as a cover on the door peep hole and a metal hotel door stop. The location is close to Disneyland and the price was reasonable. However, our room was a little run down. There was a bench missing the top. There was an also a giant skylight making the room bright around 5:30am. The water park is a top hit for this location but we didn’t get a chance to visit, as we were busy at the park.

Really convenient to stay near by Disneyland park..

We had 2 Jr Suites both rooms and property were immaculate. Suites were roomy and well appointed: super functional design. All staff were accommodating, friendly and helpful. In particular Sam and Fernando went above and beyond in helping to make our stay exceptional — helping to arrange for an electric scooter; attempting to fix a problematic TV in one of the suites. Unfortunately, there was a small blip in both of the suites one evening when we were without heating (housekeeping brought up extra blankets) and all was in working order the next evening. However, this is the reason for the 4 Star rather than a 5 Star review. Nevertheless, because of both Sam and Fernando’s welcoming hospitality and professional attitudes we would still stay at this property again.

The room was so humid it made the windows damp. Also the downstairs hallway flooded and they just left the water there all night and it was very damp and the inside windows leading out were all wet because of the dampness. It was not the best experience.

Had the best day Front Office was super helpful. I love the pool. The lifeguards are super nice. The cleaning crew was on point with everything we had no issues this trip. The only thing this place needs is a wheelchair access closer to the corner street so that we don’t have to go all the way past the gift shop to get into the buildings, especially when staying in building two but even with that I will continue coming back over and over again

This was our second time staying here. The room was fine for our family. Only frustration was the room we booked said it sleeps five in the listing, but when we arrived they said it would be an extra $20 a night for another bed. When we asked they said the listing said that based on fire code and not actual beds?? Other issue was they accidentally gave us the keys for the people that checked in before us. So we got locked out after a long day at Disneyland.

The only positive aspect of this hotel is the easy walking distance to Disneyland. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience did not match the advertising or expectations. We booked a Park View Superior Room, but the view was primarily of the water park—not Disneyland. You can barely see the tip of the Matterhorn. The room itself felt dated despite claims of recent renovations in Building 1. The tub grout and shower were noticeably dirty, and overall the room did not feel refreshed or well-maintained. There is no housekeeping service unless you stay three nights, which was surprising for a hotel at this price point. Basic amenities were also lacking. The provided lotion and soap were extremely small, and although there were pump dispensers for shampoo and conditioner, they appeared dirty. The on-site “amenities” are minimal. The gift shop sells things like water and individual creamer packets for coffee. The restaurant, Mimi’s Café, is not part of the hotel, is located across the street, and does not offer free breakfast. We tried it once and the food was cold—and unfortunately it made my daughter sick. The beds were uncomfortably hard, and despite advertising, there is no room service. Strollers and scooters displayed in the lobby are not provided by the hotel; they are simply advertisements for an external rental company that you must call separately. Be prepared for additional charges: • $50 per room for incidentals at check-in • $25 per day for p

Room was pretty clean and super spacious, on the second floor they have arches that will definitely give you a lot of daylight inside the room, staff was awesome, amenities are old but they work. Internet was almost unusable. Shower head was super low and we are short people, that’s to give you an idea lol. Outside noise wasn’t bad.

The hotel is a bit far from Disney but it was just across the street from Marriott Courtyard. There is also a market place/gift shop next to the reception area. Although the hotel is older but you can tell that it is very well maintained and was very clean. We were assigned at bldg 2 where they have the newly renovated rooms. We have large room with a microwave and a fridge. The staff were also very accommodating and they are also quick to respond to our requests. We definitely recommend this hotel esp if you have smaller children.

If you are going to stay with children I would highly recommend staying in the first floor especially if you have a stroller. There is no elevator so taking a stroller up a flight of stairs after a long Disney day isn’t ideal but not impossible.

The HoJo by Disney Land is an excellent place to stay for families. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The pool is a great place to relax, too. I appreciated that they staff the pool area with several lifeguards who maintain safety for kids. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very nice - which is the only reason I gave 2 stars. The building smells like mold, the rooms are very outdated, the AC couldn't cool the room, the bathroom tub fixture was very loose and difficult to use, and there were gnats in the room. Not worth the price at all.

We had a bunk bed room, and there are no fitted sheets, they just fold a flat sheet & tuck it. This is our usual experience with hotel bunk beds, but it's a huge bummer for my sensory sensitive kids. Water park was not heated. parking is limited, but we found a spot. No loading zone at the front of the hotel. Food options around the hotel is limited.

Stressed out my daughter who is autistic and six years old and doesn’t know anything about WiFi. We stayed in building two last time and it was perfect. Very chill and quiet. Better WiFi and better parking options for the handicapped.

Overall. It was great. Close to Disney, great view of fire works. I will say that the future is on its last legs with a couple broken pieces in the room. Also the rooms are very, very, very bright during the day do to the arched windows which have no shade or curtains. Nap time for toddlers not an option on top floor, which has the best view for fireworks kind of a catch 22.

Family friendly, clean rooms,staff were very friendly and helpful. Very convenient for the Disneyland Parks. My only concern was that the aircon was rather noisy when sleeping but was solved with ear plugs

Had the best time staying at the hotel! Decorated for Halloween. The pool/water park was a big hit for our daughter. We loved it!

The room was clean and quiet! There was not any coffee or prepared food available for purchase! In comparison the Marriott across the street had Starbucks and sandwiches available!

Always enjoy my stay here

I’ve stayed here several times, however the last time was such a disappointment. The fridge and bathroom were disgusting. When I complained to corporate, nothing was done. So, I’ll take my money elsewhere next time.

Everything was great at hobos. We had 3 rooms- 2 family suites and a park view queen. The family suites were more than adequate for our families of 4 and the two bathrooms were wonderful. Our park view room was fantastic for watching the fireworks. We found lots of restaurants near by and the walk to Disneyland was fine for our 6 year old. Overall I would recommend this hotel for families - we stayed here 31 years ago with our kids and brought them back with their kids

I really liked how comfortable the beds in the room were and how updated everything seemed. Not to mention the location was convenient to walking to disneyland. It was also pretty quiet, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I didn't like that the door to the room didn't go all the way down to the ground and you could see some light coming in from the hallway. Also our toilet seat was a little dirty, which I ended up cleaning with a clorox wipe I had, which was pretty upsetting.

Excellent property. The room was clean and specious enough for 2 adults and 2 primary aged children. Loved the pool and the short walk to Disneyland. Would definitely stay here again.

Housekeeping staff is friendly, a lot left to be desired

Room should have been cleaner. AC was absolutely terrible. Forgot to bring us towels. Bathtub was clogged from a someone’s hair. We got woken up by a vacuum cleaner outside our door. Ladies having a full blown long conversation.

This property is close and within walking distance of Disney. We had a wonderful time and have stayed here a couple of times now. Highly recommend.

This is our go to hotel. The safe is friendly and the place is clean and comfortable. We love the theme park view. Its an easy 10 minute walk to the park. The staff makes balloon swords for the kids. My Son loves the water park. We will definitely stay here again and again.

Super close to Disneyland! The walk wasn’t bad at all! Overall the hotel stay was great. Chose to stay in one of the smaller older buildings and while clean it did have a mix of musty air conditioning smell and chemically smell in the hallway. Also the smaller cheaper two story buildings don’t have elevators and we had to walk to a different small building for ice. The water park was great for kids though and the pool/water park hours were excellent! I would stay again, but in the newer building. Overall good choice for the money!

Very family friendly!! Water park is amazing for kids. Only negative is that there is no jacuzzi at the main pool. The only jacuzzi is in the water park.

The staff was amazing. The room though was extremely outdated, the towels were terrible, the water took forever to get warm, and the AC barely worked. Also you can hear everything like the highway from the room.

Room was well furnished, really liked the bunk beds for my kids. Bed was very comfortable. Very convenient for Disney land, plenty of food a short walk away. The only issue we had was with housekeeping, a few small pieces of trash in room which I wouldn’t even bring up if they weren’t so rude to us day of checkout. We were a little late leaving room and within 15 minutes of checkout they came to our door twice, first one wasn’t very friendly and second was very rude. We also had a call from front desk, which was fine, I don’t mind that they were checking and they were very friendly and understanding, but housekeeping needs to leave that to front desk. This was in the middle of the week and not peak travel time. Hotel was kind enough to not charge us for late checkout.

Very nice room and tastefully decorated. Seemed to have been recently updated. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was great and of decent size. Appreciated the ability to walk to Disneyland in only 5 minutes or so.

We stayed in building 5 and they didn’t have an elevator. I would have preferred to stay in the building that has an elevator. Since we have a baby and the stroller makes it easier when coming back from the park.

My daughter loved the water play area, jacuzzi and the pool. They also had a small scavenger hunt and she loved looking for the clues. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

We were there 4 night. Room didn’t get cleaned once. No new towels.

Good, comfortable room. Not easy to find out they have $25 per night parking. Also the in-room refrigerator does not have a freezer. Had to use my cooler i brought as my freezer. At least the ice machine is free.

Quiet, well kept property. Our daughter loved the waterpark.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this hotel. My 2 yr old granddaughter slipped by the pool and the lifeguards were very helpful and attentive. She was fine but they even checked on us the next day. I can’t say enough nice things about the lifeguards and staff. Thank you so much !!!!!!

The room was not what we had expected. It was not as nice in the pictures they advertised on the website. The air conditioner was not working well. The shower and bath room sinks took forever for the water to drain. When we arrived at the hotel they told us we had to park across the street at another hotel because they were at 85% capacity. Definitely will not be staying at this hotel again. Very disappointed

Clean room and nice staff. I did request for an early check in, so im not holding anyone accountable for this, but my room was a little messy. I found wrappers in random places and silverware. The fridge was also rusting on the inside, which im not sure exactly why. Other than that, all staff was accommodating, friendly, and easy to talk to. Beds were comfortable and all linen was clean.

Walking distance to Disneyland

Nice property for the price. Only thing we had 5 people (2 adults 3 kids) the room says sleeps 5 I assumed there was a pull out couch with the 2 queen beds but no just the 2 beds. Kids had squeezed together on Queen. They did enjoy the water park the next morning though.

Did not like the fact that the pool didn't have enough room so they only let so many in was the main reason we stayed there didn't care for the scum around the top of the pull an could of done without the bug bites for starters paid for parking left to eat an returned to a full lot no parking

Outdated and dirty

This is the hidden gem of Disneyland. Splash pad for kids on hot days and a view of the fireworks from the room.

Staff sucked

When we checked in. We were helped by Sam, very friendly and welcoming. We went to the water park, my daughter had so much fun. Dinner next door at Mimi’s and Disneyland the next. It is a very convenient location

Clean place within walking distance to theme parks

Water park was great. Got upgraded to queens iin room adjoining our double with bunk beds. Much appreciated. BUT: front desk person screwed up my slight res. change request. Wristbands made of paper so not water friendly, as opposed to some other material. Bathroom for double./bunk bed room had almost no storage area. Poorly designed. And alternate day maid service was overlooked twice. Very annoying motion sensor entry light which went on whenever anyone used the bathroom in the middle of the night, disturbing those sleeping. Toilet seat should be soft close. All of these defects can be easily fixed, but I would be shocked if anyone really cared enough about feedback to make any changes.

My daughter and I stayed here for a Disney trip from August 9-11th. I noticed a couple bites on us, but I thought they might be mosquito bites and didn’t think much of it. It wasn’t until a week after we got home that we were both covered in bites. No one else in our home had any bites, just us two. The doctor told us they were bed bugs, and then the real hassle began. Do you feel like washing every fabric item in your house? Do you feel like replacing your mattresses? Do you feel like vacuuming twice a day and spending hundreds on poisons to coat your house and skin? Then maybe you’ll enjoy the Howard Johnson Anaheim.

Not very many amenities and the staff just wasn’t as helpful as we would have expected

Our family reservation was for a room that would accommodate five people. However, the room assigned to us was extremely small, located in an outdated building, and reduced in size due to its placement by the stairs—approximately 15 feet smaller than comparable rooms. Instead of appropriate bedding for five, the room only had two double beds. The cleanliness was also unacceptable: the floors were dirty, there was feces on the bathroom floor upon arrival, and one morning we encountered a large spider. The positive aspects of our stay were that the beds were tolerable, the location was conveniently close to Disney, and our children enjoyed the water park. However, the negative aspects far outweighed these: the property was poorly maintained, our room was undersized and inadequate for our family, and the bathroom was both small and unsanitary with no counter space.

It was walkable

At the pool. Acting Like it was a 5 star with people at the gate providing a lot of rules. We had our grandkids and our kids and are in our early 60’s. Seemed like overkill. Overall though, we would return but was up on the pool regs. Oh and the kids life’s etc should be with a pool where you can swim also. Keep adult pool but add another pool with the kids equipment. 😁

My room smelled like urine and cigarettes, there was a dead roach on the floor of the bathroom, the tub and toilet was dirty. Everything was outdated and stained. I honestly want a refund, I tried to get one just a couple of minutes after check in due to the circumstances but they didn’t want to give me one.

Stayed in bldg 6. Building and room were hot. Strong smell of some kind of cleaner in building. Skylights cause brightness in room during day and add to heat. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom extremely dated, water pressure poor and tub faucet was difficult to maneuver. Really wanted to love our stay… last time we stayed we were in the larger building. Didn’t have the problems in that room. The bed comfort was really the only saving grace….

Enjoyed my stay at the Howard Johnson. Was a 7 minute walk to get to the front of the Disneyland parks and my room was clean and quiet. Will be staying there again on my next trip!

It was refurbished and clean. The pool was relaxing with pool towels and lifeguard.

I like everything, very convenient, near to Disney. I love that after walking whole day at park we can enjoy the jacuzzi at the water park on the hotel, very relaxing. They closed the water park at 10:00pm.

Fun hotel close to Disneyland about a quarter mile walk to the front gate waterpark area and pool area very fun for the kids to break up the day in the heat. The room was very clean nicely set up the bathroom. Water pressure was very very low in the shower, could not get it to put out much water at all.

Wristband routine and NO food on property—Won’t stay here again. Not even vending machine with chips. Staff and rooms were fine. Parking easy. Bathrooms have VERY bright auto on lights. Need nighttime option.

Great having a pool you can jump into on a hot August day. Was able to accommodate my request of a top floor. Reasonable walk to Disneyland.

Staff were kind. Walkable to park. Rooms were very old. We stayed in building 5. My room and my friends down the hall smelled like mildew even with ac on (that did not work very well). The tub did not drain after use either. The mildew odor was very bad. It has very old carpet everywhere so maybe it all needs to replaced. I had trouble breathing in there. My friend stayed in building 4 and she had great Ac and no odor. Staff let us check in early with no charge. But based on odor I would never stay here again

Main floor stay there was space between the door that let a lot of freeway noise in and the A/C unit was really loud. Good proximity to the park but we visited friends at the hotel next door and the amenities were so much better. Hotel room was pretty run down and is in need of updates given the price they charge.

The water park is not available all day upon the day you checkout unless you want to pay an outrageous fee, unlike all the other resort hotels in the area that include it. Had I known I wouldn’t have stayed here.

Quick 10 min Walk to Disney entrance, fun pool area for the kids, stayed in building 1 remodeled and pretty nice, soundproof is good, good mattress, good food options around, I would stay here again.

This was our second stay! We love the location and the friendly helpful staff. The splash pad is also always a hit. The only thing we would like better is to have food available at the motel.

This location is great - I really enjoyed the proximity to Disneyland. The facility is clean, quiet, and rooms are comfortable. The waterslide for kids is nice - my nephew loved it!
