Room clean. Suited our purpose for two adults and two young kids. There were no plugs for the bath tubs so it was shower only.

The staff were great. The building is dated but the gentleman that checked me out said they were renovating in the near future. I had zero safety concerns and the room itself was clean. Great for a solo traveler like myself.

I surprised to hear front stuff that no shampoo available for environment consideration. I use soap bar to wash my hair. Fortunately, my suitcase was not so heavy, so no elevator was not problem this time.

Parking was good. Room was clean. The water pressure was not good in the shower. My room was made up daily.

Parking is located around the building, with plenty of accessible spaces. It is a non smoking facility, but the lighting outside aids in a feeling secure. The laundry room is 24 hours, and the property is kept as clean as possible indoors and outside. All staff I encountered greeted me with a smile.

The stay was overall smooth and uneventful. The room was clean, the staff was professional, and everything worked as expected. It wasn’t anything exceptional, but it met my needs and provided a comfortable place to stay. A solid, average experience. 2nights stay.

The room was clean and it was an okay stay but the bed was horrible .. that’s the issue I had. It was sleeping on cardboard and pillows flat like paper.

Staff was nice and the rooms were good the beds some what comfy not for a person with a bad back .No hot water in sink but shower pressure was good .The locks on doors and rooms are a big problem I didn’t even want to go outside because getting back in you had to use several doors but for the pricing near Chicago you couldn’t beat it

Literally the only reason I booked this hotel was to have a nice place to sleep that was also pet-friendly. I had a long drive so I didn't want to drive back exhausted. I should have spent an extra $30 to have a nicer hotel.

2:30 arrival. Checking at 3. I was firmly told 50 for early check in. 50 in his pocket boyeee . It was cute.

Clean, recently renovated room. Lots of parking. Security doors don’t work and r always open. Room lock malfunctioned more often then worked. Very very sparsely furnished making it awkward for multi-day stay. Almost no soundproofing between rooms or floors. Listened to heavy footed guest above all night long and noisy neighbors all night. Would not recommend if you if have other choices.

They have 24 hour laundry, but oddly it was not accessible if anyine closed the door, which there was a sign requesting that it remain open. Please read people. I am certain, based upon the upkeep of the property that whatever the issue, it was in the process of being fixed. There is self parking available, and you receive a parking pass, which I find comforting, only vehicles authorized are allowed on the property. The rooms are kept clean and stocked, and the housekeeping staff is polite. I only rated them a 4 because I had a noise complaint which was handled oddly, I simply asked if the children in a room were being supervised because they had been unruly for 4 hours and was advised by the desk clerk that she wasn't at liberty to share that information. Upon arrival, you sign a noise ordinance. If she knew or didn't know, she made no effort to resolve the noise complaint, instead her superior handled the issue, which my husband and I felt was a bit much, because she could have made the same call to the room that her superior did. All in all, the staff is friendly and will answer any inquiry if they can. And they don't give information that is not across the board. If you have pets or children, the property is well lit for walking your dog and the window sills are comfortable for cats and small dogs. There is no smoking in the rooms, but they have ashtrays placed in several locations close to the doors in well lit areas, so alone or with a group, you can feel safe.

Place is clean and staff is nice. But keep in mind that rooms are small and very less amenities. Mattress was is really bad shape. Good place to stay cheap.

In town for a funeral so I didn’t want to break the bank, so got what I paid for. Telephone didn’t work, there was no hot water in the sink and there were long strands of black hair on the floor and a glob on one of the covers that I exchanged.

The rooms are well lit and clean. Carpeting in the hallway, not the rooms. No mold in sight, no bugs either. Also, the staff is very friendly. If you are a smoker, there's no smoking in the rooms, but garbage receptacles and ash trays conveniently located . There's a 24 hour laundry that's kept clean and there's a noise ordinance. My cat enjoyed it just as much as we did.

I prepaid for my reservation through Expedia prior to arrival. Upon check-in, the front desk informed me that Expedia had not released the funds and insisted that I pay again. I was told to “take it up with Expedia” for reimbursement. This response was unacceptable. As the customer, I fulfilled my obligation by paying in advance. Any issue regarding payment release is a matter between the hotel and Expedia and should not have been passed on to me. The appropriate course of action would have been for the front desk to contact Expedia directly to resolve the matter, rather than charging me a second time. Requiring a guest to pay twice and then directing them elsewhere to resolve an internal billing issue reflects very poor customer service. I am requesting a prompt refund of the duplicate charge and confirmation that this matter has been resolved.

I appreciated how close this property was to Chicago O’Hare. This helped us sleep close for an early morning flight. However, the facility didn’t smell the best; there were multiple entrances that did not close, so that anyone could just walk in the hallways; and the overall location did not appear to be a safe location.

Two days later we are still having respiratory issues- I rang the manager who was rude and obnoxious and hung up on me. Only needed a place for a few hours between flights- health risk big time!!

No staff at reception at 8am.

-The front desk employees were kind/helpful - While in need of some minor cosmetic repairs (chipped floors, peeling trim exc.) the room was clean and comfortable -It was a tad noisy in our first floor room due to outside noises at times (not the hotels fault) -If you are looking for a cheap, clean stay, go for it -I would not recommend for anyone traveling with busy kiddos, as it's just your basic hotel with few amenities (no pool or anything kid friendly in the immediate area) We were happy with our 2 night stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Always enjoy staying here when in Arlington Heights for my Job a couple times a month. Affordability is perfect. It’s Clean and haven’t seen a bug yet.

Cleanliness of rooms. Minor issues like the shower curtain rod was bent downward a bit so the curtain didnt stay shut and kept sliding to the middle of the rod (not a huge issue) . One of the double doors on the bathroom didnt close all the way or it was too hard to close.. The halway reeked of piss oder. But i could look pass that. Overall the place was decent. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. They could use a new pave job outside.would stay again if ever visiting the area. Also. The guy working front desk had beautiful eyes. Haha

It was dirty, old, and unsafe people hanging around the lobby and parking lot. My husband and I are not afraid of anything, but we just don't have the patients for this type of environment anymore. Our money will be spent on better service elsewhere. Clean up your property! The beds are sitting on tables that are a few inches off the floor and the rooms are barely big emough to turn around in.

I stayed for one night at Motel 6 because my house didn't have any power. No complaints because I always visit this location once in awhile It's always nice and quiet area. The 606 Pace Bus is convenient to get to the Blue Line and Woodfield Mall.

It was ok for one night, but I wouldn’t return. It was so noisy. People were banging on doors at 3 am and a dog was barking at 1am, which I did report to the front desk, so I did not sleep well at all. Someone was sleeping in their car behind the hotel. The floor had what looked like burn marks on it and the room itself looked like a dorm room. The bathroom was clean which is always great. There was a terrible smell in the hallway and room which clearly they tried to cover up with an air freshener. Parking was easy where my room was located, but limited toward the motel lobby.

No elevators but clean and comfortable. Wish they had tissues and a clock in the room though. Great service and staff.

The beds needs to be replaced. The first room I was given smelled like vomit. The facility charged my credit card at 3pm instead of 6pm which is the hotels.com/expedia policy which I indicated I would pay cash at the property. The checki-n attendant was very rude digging into my personal reasons for my stay.

This is a good place for a weekend stay. Just so long as you don't expect too much. Remember, that you get what you pay for. But room was clean, equipment was in operating condition. Powerful a/c unit, it can freeze you out. Good water pressure in bathroom ( both sink and shower). It was worth the money.

We were given a room on the second floor. We carried our belongs up only to find that one bed had been slept in and there was urine in the toilet. The front desk wanted to come clean but we insisted on another room, not knowing if someone else had a key. The next room was clean, but the main bathroom light didn't work. It wasnt worth asking for yet another room. There were men outside our window drinking and being loud for about an hour. We also found that the side entrance was broken and anyone could enter, but fortunately the door to our floor was locked and required a key to enter. We didn't feel safe. If we could find another hotel, we would have left, but it was a holiday weekend and nothing was available nearby. We toughed out the night and canceled our reservation for the 2nd night. The person at the front desk was apologetic and credited our 2nd night. Definitely an unpleasant experience.

All the doors have a "slow close" mechanism on top, all of those were broken so all night long those doors would SLAM every time someone went out. Car alarms going off, loud, ants on floor 1.

It was clean, but a little bare in the rooms, no extra pillows, blankets, no tissue paper, no iron. I liked that you can open the window though.

Clean and for the price will be going back. Disappointed do not offer late check out of a hour or so without buying another night. But other than that the place was clean and more than what was needed for sleeping when not at work

I liked that everything was clean, and the vending machines. I liked the price of the room. I liked that the room had ac, heat, microwave, fridge. I didnt like that some of the vending didnt take change, and the vending items were overpriced. No shampoo, hair dryer, coffee maker, no free breakfast provided. Lighting in room not very bright. TV is very small. Hotel stay should make a person feel special, pampered, get away from daily life. This didn't happen for me. I will try to avoid this hotel from now on and pay a little more to get more.

Just what I needed, a central place, clean and very attentive staff at an incredible price. I would definitely return and highly recommended.

Lots of dining down the road. Near-ish to airport so lots of planes overhead but you couldn’t hear them from the room so they didn’t keep us up. They did not provide shampoo or conditioner even after asking but there was a Walmart near by so it was okay. Overall good, would stay again :)

Why wouldn't they post that there's a mandatory security deposit of $50 so yeah the rates online are low but you have to pay that security deposit now I have to wait five to seven business days to get my $50 deposit back, and the front desk was terrible the lady was on their phone for like 12 minutes while I was standing in the lobby seeing myself on the cameras watching the camera switch off to the somewhere else for 12 minutes switch back to me and here she comes from the office to check me in

This hotel has plenty of safe parking, it's clean, does not have breakfast, is quiet.... Down fall is don't ask for anything, you will be told no.... Asked for extra pillows only 2 paper thin ones on a bed... Was told NO

I haven’t stayed at this location for several years because the staff was always unbelievably horrible. Just rude, dismissive, unprofessional and unfriendly. I thought that perhaps now it might be a little different, maybe some different people there. Thing is, while it did seem to be different employees from who I remember, they were actually just as horrible as the ones I remember from before. I actually over heard the front desk person tell a guest who inquired over the availability of drinking water to drink out of his bathroom sink. I’m sorry… what? It’s a shame, because the property itself is actually not terrible and is fairly clean. But oh my God. The people working there… Do better, Motel 6.

They only have 2 pillows on the bed that are so flat I don’t know why they bothered. The bed was SO uncomfortable I could hardly sleep and woke up feeling so sore.
