Everything was nice

Location Mold in the shower, worn out bed sheets, deferred maintenance, marked up walls, bags of garbage on floor of ice room, loud neighbors every morning at 6 am.

Older property. Housekeeping cleaned every other day; no towel or coffee refresh done on. Off days. Dreary. Poor TV reception

I like the fact that Renee the bartender was open till 11 o’clock. We had a rough day of travel and that was a blessing to have that bar open and Christine at the front counter was just a smiling welcoming help with the rush if people checking in that night

Room was very clean. Bathroom sink drain was rusty. Walls are very thin as we heard our neighbors the entire time.

Staff was great, clean and big rooms. Checking in and out was seamless. Great property overall and awesome stay!

My room had long black hairs on the towels and hair balled up in between the bed and the nightstand. The door leading to the parking lot was broken and not secured. I was told that they come around and lock the door at 11pm to secure the hotel but I do not see how that was possible as the handle on the door is what was broken. Second morning there, I was woke up at 745am by the lawn mower and weed eater right under my window. The morning of checkout, they were apparently working on the rooms and had boxes and equipment all down the hallway, as well as drilling and hammering. The mess in the hallway made it difficult to get down the hallway with luggage. Not a pleasant experience.

Extremely comfortable A/C - never had to adjust anything. Parking near my ground floor room was very convenient. However, there was no freezer in the fridge and the only microwave available was in the food purchase room upfront.

I showed her the booking number and the money they tool from my bank and she told me to place my card. So i got charged twice. Then suddenly she call the manager and i showed her my checking acct that i got charge. So they told me it was a mistake and they will give my money back. It was okay but the person who was in front desk who charge me even though i showed her that they took my money still charge me anyway. She seems like doesn’t know her job.

They do not have free breakfast, they had free parking. Our curtains didnt slide very well. The slider door didn't slide very well. Toilet didn't flush well. The pool was cold water and a cold room. Will never stay here again.

No, it was terrible. My family and I checked out early.security doors broken. We were switched into 3 rooms because rooms were dirty. Hair in the bed/ pillow. Sheets didn't look the best. Splatters on the ceiling. Door lock wasn't working to our room. We decided not to have breakfast, because the room was dirty. I didn't trust the idea of eating anything there

I booked this place last minute after a long delay at O Hare. The check in process was incredibly easy and staff was friendly and caring. I enjoyed the hotel breakfast options I wish there had been more choices than just drip coffee.

Other than the proximity to O'Hara, there is no reason to stay there. Also, they fo not have provided transportation to O'Hara. Old not well maintained. Starting to rehab the hotel and the front entrance is closed without any signage. Essentially very limited food service.

I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room. My check time was at noon but at 10am when I left the room and returned my key card didn’t work. It was flashing a red light on the door lock? Also my door was badly damaged , it looked like someone tried to break in at some point

Front of lobby was under renovations and doors to the rooms were not working therefore you had to go back to front to get in. Lobby was freezing due to renovations therefore eating there wasn’t comfortable.

They were undergoing renovation of the motel's front entrance so the drive was closed off & unlit. I could see no signage directing me to the entrance so I drove completely around the building before I found a place that said Entrance above a door.

It took 3 keys and 3 rooms later ...The 1st door did not work. The 2cd room had the door and window opened . Finally, the 3rd room was avaliable for me. My room was not cleaned on Sunday as scheduled. I even reminded the lady and it was not done. Trash still in the room, towels still dirty and bed unmade. I cant say I will return to the hotel in the future.

Check-in was awesome. Seth and Toni do a fantastic job. Property is worn out and tired. I do think that renovations are planned but the room was dingy and the carpet stained. Mattress on pull-out sofa was stained badly and gross. Masking tape did NOT work to hold the doors open during the day - the exterior is allegedly being painted so electronics had been removed. Plus breakfast was expensive and the property offered no free coffee.

We had a nice simple room on the third floor. The clerk at the desk upgraded our dining to include our daughter in the free breakfast. The pool was nice and well kept. There was a fun Japanese grocery down the road as well and we hit them up everyday. A good stay overall

The wallpaper in my room was raveling, room smelled as though someone had smoked in there, two outer doors broken on the building? Peeling paint above the shower, numerous light bulbs burned out, remote batteries not working in the living room area

OK in general but deteriorated. Needs improvement but it is OK in general.

One of the comforters was clearly not cleaned for a long while - stains on it (blood?). The bathroom had patches of mould in the wall and the last night there the vanity light stopped working. But the pool was nice, pretty clean and well stocked with towels. The shower had amazing pressure, there was no hotel funk to speak of and the staff were all prompt and courteous.

The hotel is well located and very good. However it was missing a fan on the bathroom of our room. The toilet seat was a short like a child seat and no microwave on the room.

Property is tired. Toilet was a foot off the floor and did not flush in middle of the night. Staff was very helpful when checking in. This must be near top of the list for an upgrade.

I could hear doors banging after midnight. And they vacuumed the hallway at 8am. The beds were super comfy.

They dont inform you about what is your included breakfast. And once you end up paying for it then they tell you oh and still make you pay for it. Never again.

Convenient location. Not the 3 stars it claims to have. The hotel is clean but dated and needs renovation in the rooms. No fan in the bathroom leads to excess moisture. The paint was pealing off the ceiling because of that. For a King room, it was very small and not laid out for relaxation. TV to the side of the bed makes it hard to watch. No complementary coffee or any breakfast in the lobby. Can buy muffins etc at the “ we serve Starbucks” in the lobby. If you can get a cheap rate it is ok, would have paid a bit more for a real 3 star place.

I always choose Arlington Heights as my preferred stop before traveling out of O'Hare International Airport, and Courtyard Chicago Arlington Heights South offers everything I value in that routine. The location is incredibly convenient, especially with its close proximity to Mitsuwa Marketplace and a wide selection of Asian restaurants nearby. The atmosphere in this area is relaxing and culturally vibrant, which I truly enjoy. The hotel provides a comfortable and consistent experience. However, I believe the television system could benefit from an upgrade, particularly for guests who enjoy streaming platforms such as Netflix. Despite this, the overall experience remains very positive, and I look forward to staying here again.

Only stayed here for a night and the staff was friendly! Was really expecting there to be a robe in the room but there wasn’t.

This is not marriot where i used to go. feels a like motel condition and service. Dont go to courtyard at schaumburg.

Our room was clean. We had a nice view from our room. The staff were all nice. I have no complaints. One suggestion though, people need more than one tiny garbage can in their room.

Terrible experience! My reservation was for a double queen bedroom instead i got two full sized beds and i was told by toni the concierge that the i had to take that up with hotels.com, the reservation clearly said double queen. Then she changed the reason after calling someone and said that the queen mattresses they carry are lomg not wide. I guess I must be stupid written on my forehead and im pretty sure me and my family were bitten by bed bugs

Superb customer service and the quietest hotel stay I’ve experienced, regardless of a large family gathering across the hall. The building is older but extremely well taken care. Very clean and fresh smelling. Well worth the affordable charges!

This property is looking a little tired. The room was clean, but there was a hole in the door of the bathroom. An additional problem is the property next door, a budget hotel that has been used to lodge indigents since the pandemic, many of whom still live there. When we stay now for a family event, our relatives warn us to park on the north side because there have been reports of vehicle break-ins and vandalism on the side adjoining the other property. As long as we feel reasonably safe, we will continue to stay here because it's convenient for family events.

This hotel was very convenient and off the highway enough not to have that noise. The room doors were a bit loud every time they closed. You could hear people talking outside your room but didn’t seem to be a problem while trying to sleep.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well kept and we appreciated the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the shower. The staff was friendly and the small restaurant inside was great. All three days of our stay the same young woman was working all by herself manning the register, the coffee and food and she was fantastic. She remembered details about us and what we had told her the day before. The facility is updated and the grounds are beautifully maintained.

This is a very nice hotel. Lovely rooms and great beds. Shout out to the girl working the food area. She is really nice and a FANTASTIC worker. Our only complaint would be there needs to be a second elevator in the front part of the hotel. One elevator in the back corner was extremely inconvenient.

Christine the worker at the front desk was doing everything. She was literally running around letting people in their rooms due to keys not working, handling phones, and welcoming guest. She was a super hero!

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. However, the hotel itself was an older property. It has been taken care of, but some age issues needed help. Our toilet was leaking. But we used other things like the laundry and everything was good. This is a larger property and is in an ok neighborhood near ORD. But the hotel next door was not as nice and the clientele reflected that. Good hotel if you can get a great rate, or you need to be near the airport.

Needs updated internet. Internet was inconsistent and only 6 mbps when it did work. Marriott has an upgrade option which didn’t work and the front desk didn’t have a clue how to do it. Otherwise, room was clean and safe neighbor

The hotel is ok, the staff is excellent. I don’t like the shutter service, because some time is not available. There are security problems in the surrounding area. I will still return because the place is good. I hope they can fix the shutter service because it is useful for the professionals who are here for a few days.

Convenient to airport and Arlington Heights. Dated and not as nice as most Courtyards where I have stayed but certainly adequate.

The hotel is located in a quiet suburbs around 40 kms from downtown Chicago. The quality of air is great. There is a nice forest nearby and lots of activities

The staff were helpful. The bar/restaurant even though has a limited menu...the food was very good. The lounge area was nice ... but had very worn chairs. We were very surprised that there were no usb outlets in our room or anywhere.

Stayed here on numerous occasions and it’s a tremendous value. Claims of staff having attitude but looks to me like people doing their jobs and that’s more than good enough for me. Will stay here again definitely.

Comfortable the tired. We came into town to visit family and got a larger room with a courtyard view. The beds are always comfortable at Marriott and the service was fine and the lobbies were nice. The rest of the room was pretty tired. Kind of dingy. The were standing water in the tub when we first got there but it drained away once we opened the drain. The towels are kind of thin and worn. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. And the arms on the chairs were worn and actually coming apart. This hotel could really use a redo.

Front desk staff were super helpful and nice. Front area was very clean and well-put together. Room was great. Desk chair was great, might need one of the screws on the arm tightened. I loved the sofa and table. Table looked a little rough. Looks like someone put something very hot on it because it had a bubbling-up effect on the countertop. Bed was super comfortable. Pillows were a little too soft and worn. Might need a firmer pillow. Absolutely LOVED the shower. Water pressure is everything to me and this hotel had the best of a couple hotels we stay at. Everything else was great.

Courtyard Marriotts can vary to very nice to depressing - this fell on the depressing side of things. Dark, drab, and no wifi whatsoever - which they tried to blame on the weather, even though wifi for neighboring hotels came through strong enough! Would not recommend this particular Courtyard.

We woke up with very bad back pain due to the huge sag in the mattress. We had to throw our leftovers away the next day when we saw our refrigerator did not work. Told manager about it, she gave a vague she will have maintenance look into it, so we were just out, I guess. Very limited tv channels. For a Wyndham hotel, and for the area, expected much better. Will not go back.

A bit disappointing for Courtyard. 1st room, TV didnt work. Very easy move to next room, phenomenal staff response. 2nd room wallpaper needs repair, replaced in multiple places. Tub tile at floor needs cleaned or replaced.

Great service and clean and everything worked

I absolutely love this hotel. This is not our first time here and every time we’ve never had a problem. Big bathrooms beautiful vanity comfortable bed clean sheets as well as an updated television. The only problem is there connectivity. I don’t know if they have DISH but the signal kept going on certain channels.
