Despite reading numerous negative reviews, I decided to book this hotel, which turned out to be a huge disappointment. The air conditioning was non-functional, leaving the room unbearably hot, making it impossible to sleep. To add insult to injury, the shower tub was in a state of disrepair, with the knob broken and the water flow inadequate.

They put better or add furniture in the living room. It was just plan empty space with my couch

Great place to stay! I absolutely love staying at Culebra Suites. I always feel incredibly safe here, especially with their security staff actively walking the property, and I never have to worry about the safety of my car and the staff always makes you feel welcomed and they are very accommodating to all my need everytime im there and for that reason ill always come back 😊

Staff were not helpful or at the desk regularly , the refrigerator did not work. The shower was running out of two different pipes. There was mold on the shower curtain. Hallways reeked of pee & mildew the online advertisement was misleading. The only thing that was fair was the prices.

There was bed bugs and a million bugs in both rooms they put us in. Due to being pregnant it wasn’t sanitary either. The sheets had dirt and stuff on them.

The price of the weekly rate going up every week! Whoever the POS that came up with that needs to be hung in the street!

Nothing I felt unsafe in the hotel , when I drove in to the hotel around 9pm there were homeless people in the back of the building . Homeless people walking across the guests parking lot I was concerned for my vehicle. When I checked in there was a couple in the lobby they had their luggage at the entrance looked messy gave me the wrong impression. As I was checking in I could feel the couple in the lobby looking my way, I had to reposition myself to watch my back. As I proceeded to walk to my room one of the couple asked me for $20, I told him I didn’t have cash on me, that very same man was wondering around near my room window he saw me peek out and he immediately went the other direction the hotel guests were loud slamming doors. I literally did not rest, I cancelled my 2nd night and have reached out to Booking.com for reimbursement they have not responded. I have stayed in many Motel 6 across the US I have never experienced any thing like this before.

They are rude when it comes to your animals that are service. The floor felt like it was going to fall thru. The staff overall is rude. The cleaning lady rushed me out of the room but when we return the next day she didn't even clean it yet. The toilet was leaking all over the floor and they wouldn't come and fix it so I could have fell and hurt myself and I have medical problems. Don't come here I promise you wont like the outcome.

None That the front told me I couldn't have my service cats with me and the cleaning lady rush people to get out but doesn't clean the room until the next day. The floor in the room is was in the toilet leak water. Also the floor in that room felt like you would fall thru the floor.

I put cash down for the deposit and then a card down to be refunded on and they told me after I left town I had to come back to the hotel to get my cash.

I didn't like anything. The grounds were dirty! No customer service abilities. They are pet friendly but they keep my deposit because he was there. It's a scam corporation and they charge you extra money for hotel service. They will be reported to the BBB. My experience on a 1 to 5 scale is an -0

How the maze treat you like a criminal

I enjoyed the part when I was leaving. The location is not the best, many people hanging around outside in different areas. This is an extended stay, so it's some people's home. They definitely need a full time grounds keeper to clean up the place and update the rooms. Old and scary is the best way to describe this hotel.

Clean, quiet, relaxing. The staff from 3pm -11pm is nice and the suite is spacious!

It was difficult to find the right building to enter to get to your room. We were given a room number but there were numbers on the buildings so we did not know which building to enter. All we were told was just park and enter in the back.

Nothing It was horrible, rooms look nothing like the pictures. Connecting rooms where you can even lock the connected door. Homeless man sleeping in the stairwell where we HAD to walk because the elevator was out of order.

Place was nothing like the pictures, our room looked like it still needed remodeling from fire or water damage, had a bad floor, funky smell, water faucets were terrible, no water pressure in shower, was embarrassed to bring a church group to this location.

The staff worker we're okay., but the rooms had roaches and when told about the roaches and showed pictures all he could is that they could move me to another room if one of more customers are saying they have roaches to why would want to stay. He said there's nothing he can do but put in a work order. I ask if could be refunded he said no ok no problem so I left want never get my business again

You pay for what you get. It felt pretty “sketchy.” It’s an extended stay facility, not just a hotel. The workout facility was a complete joke.

There are no blankets or comforts, they only provide 2 thin sheets on the bed, there were 2 toilets, we found out after using 1 that it wouldn’t flush, because there was no water in the tank, because the water was tuned off, because the toilet runs constantly. We got to the room the ACs where completely off a took hours to bring to a comfortable temperature! We left to buy groceries only to come back to an unplugged fridge, so all our frozen items defrosted by the time the freezer came to an appropriate temperature. Tv didn’t work at all; most of the lamps didn’t work, the AC had exposed electrical wire hanging underneath with electrical tape showing exposed copper, imagine a child or pet getting ahold of that. Our room didn’t have a do not disturb sign so we asked for one. They said we don’t do those here…

The property was dirty and felt like I was on first 48, service was horrible , no stores near by, dark roads, smelt like death, no soap in bathroom (gross) and no extra linen available. Overall worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

My last night there I seen several creep crawlers on my bathroom floor, and I take it it is from the residence who stay there full-time. Management needs to spray their hotel room once in a while.

I checked in at 7 I just dropped my stuff and left when I got back around 1 am I threw everything on the floor and crawled into bed he sheet smelled strongly of pee dog pee human pee I couldn’t tell you but it was bad the next day I got up for tv and coffee the tv wouldn’t work the coffee machine was dirty and as I went to clean up for housekeeping I placed their dirty pillows and towels (after I took a shower that had someone else’s hair in the tub) together on the bed I came back to the room a few hours later to find the same wet towels I had just used folded they changed the pillow cases not the sheets and when I woke up to pee in the middle of the night the roaches that they have where all over the walls and in the bed with me and after going through all of this with no complaint I was told I’d get my deposit back for staying and these people gave me back 12 dollars out of 50 dollars for THEIR. Dirty sad ass pillow cases!!! Beautiful lobby though

Very extended stay, very uncomfortable, very not great

Already reserved a room in advance, called to make sure our room was still secured arrived on check in day come to find out they overbooked their hotel and gave our room away and now are ghosting Expedia to give our money back. In a span of ten minutes they typed a few buttons gave up and sent me away and didn’t even try to resolve the problem with me.

Our room was located in the back of hotel, kinda scary especially with 3 women and a 9month old baby. Water was on floor from fridge. Roach on kitchen counter, tv didn't work. It was noisey while trying to sleep. Save your money go elsewhere

The beds

The floors, bathroom & couch was clean. I saw no bugs or roaches. The bed, mattress & sheets were clean. This building complex looks like an older apartment building; hence the layout. Exterior needs updating yes- i saw a very old tennis court- probably belonged to apartment complex (not in use now) obviously. I saw some people sitting outside, but no one appeared dangerous or strung out on drugs. Our car was not stolen or vandalized. We stayed ond night and went on our way. If you want better amenities or better lodging.. this one is below your price range. The front desk attendant was nice, gave clear instructions & had a smile. In regards to the noice- i did not hear any unusal sounds, screaming or parties. Old yes, needs a facelift- yes. Do you get what you pay for? Probably.

The hotel is situated in a convenient location just off the highway, which is a plus. However, the overall facility seemed a bit questionable, and there was a noticeable odor throughout the hotel, both in the common areas and in my room. The couch had an unpleasant smell that made it uncomfortable to use, while the bed was acceptable, but the overall quality and condition of the hotel left much to be desired. I have stayed at many properties from this chain, but this was the first time I felt disappointed. I was grateful that my stay was only for one night.

There were roaches in the room. We had to ask for blankets because there was only a sheet. Staff didnt want to give us extra blankets. We had to wait until the next morning for more towels. There was a lot of trash around the property. Halways stunk and property was run down and dirty. Very noisey from dogs and people fighting. AC was super loud that we could hardly sleep. Asked for a new room, but the new one was the same. Not worth the money we paid. Outlets did not work.

I will never use the property again and not recommended. Overall hospitality experience is poor. Before I checked out I resolved never to repeat patronage. The check-in experience was horrible 😢

Stained and smelly carpets. The actual room did not have any carpet, but it smelled heavily of cat urine. It’s a good thing I brought a candle ** They also did NOT stock any type of soap or shampoo in the shower. Only one single bar of hand soap for the sink that happened to be clogged anyways.

Room was spacious, a lot of room to sleep in. Recommend for sleep only and not for like hanging out. Place smelled a lot like marijuana and the hallways smelled like urine most of the time. It’s cheap and good for visiting the popular locations nearby. The area outside is a bit sketchy.

This place was the ghetto of hotels. Trash everywhere outside, broken gates. A confusing journey through different buildings to get to our room. Never, never to return. Also mysterious explosions in the middle of the night.

The hotel room itself was ok. The walk from outside to get to the room was horrible, the elevator wasn't working. The smell in the hallways was horrible.

If I could give 0 stars for this place I would. But let me start by saying the pictures are deceiving. The place is definitely not nice like the pictures show. I originally booked a King Suite with Kitchenette, they said “oh we upgraded you to a double Queen Suite with Kitchenette” then when my husband and I got there. They said “we had to change your room to a Standard King” which was no kitchenette. But I still had to pay the price for the King Suite that I did not receive. The parking lot is not somewhere to be after dark. Definitely still is a run down low income housing in one of the buildings. I did not feel safe/comfortable here. Never will I stay in a Studio 6 or Motel 6 again.

Avoid this place at all cost. The rooms have an unusual odor, the place is run down and trashy. The lobby looks fine then once you get passed the lobby its all downhill. Only one elevator worked for a two building hotel. Dirty and Uncomfortable.

It was horrible there was dead cats smashed up everywhere, trashy, and I had a black man walk up to me asking me to buy drugs from him. And then they tried to make me pay for a dirty towel but I washed it and they didn't take them

My expectations were average and thats where it was outlets were not capable of handling phone chargers more than 2 at a time, lighting was not bright enough towels were of decent size but could have been bigger.

This place was unsafe, dirty, and just uncomfortable because there were permanent tenants who were loud (radio blasting) and constant "sketchy" people walking around the area. I would NOT RECOMMEND. Also. Look at the photos..it should tell you the condition of this place. I didn't take a picture but when we were sanitizing the counters and stuff, we came upon a used toothbrush in one of the restroom drawers. That goes to show you how much they clean these rooms. NO THANKS! *only thing is the front desk worker was very kind*

It was a good stop to stay. Close to things we were going to. Just unorganized and loudness through out the building.

TERRIBLE!!! 1)We had no shower curtain for the shower the front desk agent told us he couldn’t get one because the housekeeping closet was locked and they had no access. 2) Our first room had no heat at all!! And dead roaches!! 3)The room they moved us to had no heat as well to where they had to bring a small electric one which did nothing!!! 4) The smell of the entire hotel smelled like mold, fried food, and cigarettes!!! 5) The beds were hard as bricks!! 6) It’s like a MAZE to get from the front desk to your room. 7)This was the worst stay experience I have ever dealt with when traveling and staying. 8) Its completely outdated, not clean, staff ok but lost on how to handle situations. It’s more of a live in hotel and the pictures are VERY deceiving!!! If it would not have been for the fact it was late when we checked in from traveling 7 hrs with my elderly father we would have NEVER stayed. Plus there was NOTHING around that we could book with the events that were going on that weekend. I would not rate this hotel a one star!!!

The plas is run down, trashy with liter in the hall hallways, smells bad with an odor in the halls, and just not worth the stay or any payment cost.

This place was HORRIBLE!!!! IT was the worst place I could have ever stayed. Lot of seedy people around asking for money. Followed me to my car. The sheets were disgusting. The room was horrible. I will never stay here again. There was fighting and partying with heavy weed smells. The service was friendly. They tried to make it comfortable for us, but the room was just not adequate. It had a weird smell and we just didn’t feel comfortable.

The room we stayed in was infested in roaches. They were everywhere on floor, walls, in the toliet! And when I called the front desk he said that they didn’t have any other rooms and after I wouldn’t budge he said well I have another room for you. The other room didn’t have roaches but by that time I was already disgusted and didn’t even want to stay anymore and felt uncomfortable.

The motel reeked of weed and there were roaches in our room. The elevator didn’t work the entire stay and we were on the third floor. The complex was dirty and not well kept up with.

People at the front desk were nice but once I got in the room, it was not very nice. The refrigerator was all scratched up and had huge dents in it. The shower head had a constant drip that was annoying and the when we tried to turn the heat on, the unit was so loud, we had to turn it off. Also, the beds literally did not have blankets, but had the equivalency of two sheets on them. The door separating the bedroom from the living area was missing, and the unit which came with a small kitchen area, didn’t have things like paper towels. Lastly, no ice machine in the entire hotel.

Very outdated and room smelled awful. People next door were yelling and fighting all night and cops were finally called.

Got the ground floor room I requested for my mom who was in wheelchair. That was a must! Separate rooms to sleep, watch tv w/o waking sleeping family members was excellent. Ease of getting to and from hotel to AT&T Stadium to watch football game was great!

The building was old and smelled terrible. The room had the AC that sounded like someone was drilling in our room all night. The bed smelled of mold snd the couch was more than of questionable cleanliness- I draped towels over it so the kids could sit down …. I was extremely disappointed

This was the filthiest hotel EVER!!! It was awful! No TV in the room, no towels, bathroom door broken, nasty all around where you don’t even want to touch anything!! Will never stay at a studio 6 again!

I Love the set up was perfect as well as amminites. Personel was unfriendly and they added charges was not willing to compromise....alot of hidden charges for things not explained. Be careful who you give your card info to

We had a great stay, room was clean. Only complaint was stayed in room 308 the rooms little 2 burner stove only one burner worked and they didn thave extra blanket. We did have a good time and all of us slept great.

The lobby was the only thing that was clean. I first pulled up and they looked my apartments. When I go in to check in the man was nice. Walking to our room the halls are dingy and it smells weird. The elevator were very dirty. The suite was spacious but the couch was DISGUSTING, the bathroom facet was literally falling apart. The alarm clock and phone were not even plugged in so if we wanted to talk to the front office we had to walk down there. Not a good stay at all! The office didn’t care about our complains at all.

Room was a decent size. Furnishings were nice. Service is lacking. Requested extra for injured and was in a wheelchair. Never came!

We left early and didn’t get a refund. When we first checked in our room smelled like fish and the front office gave us a disinfectant spray to spray. We ended up leaving we couldn’t stand the smell, @10pm we left and started driving home to Austin. Terrible just terrible

The hotel is an old apartment complex and needs a true face lift. The rooms were very spacious, no toiletries in the bathroom. No dish soap in the kitchen. The elevators stayed broke the entire 4 days we were there. Front desk never offered new room due to the handicap people in my room. Won’t be back.

The hotel staff restricts visitors after 8pm or 11pm, of course theres two diffrent times because they arent on the same accord. While on the 2nd day of my stay I recieved a call to the room phine from the front desk asking how many people were staying in the room. I know they have my reservation on file which clearly says that I have 2 guests for the room but i indulged and answered yhe question. Then the staff proceded to ask me why I have 4 people at that very moment in the room and with perfectly accurate details of gender, race, and even the ckothes they were wearing and in the order that each visitor arrived. The hotel staff watches the guests and their visitors almost to a disturbing level. They thwn called back 2 other times and showed up and knocked on the door. At this point I was ready to leave due tovthe harrasment because this behavior went on well into the early morning hours. 1am 3am and finally 5am. I informed the hotel staff that I will not be rebooking or extending my stay and the man responded by telling me that they werent going to allow me to anyway. The clerk stated that My guest and I come in and out if the room abd property too much. That statement blew me away. Since when is there a cap on how many times a guest is allowed to leave and come back to a room that is being paid for. I might understand better if I was stating at a shelter or sone kind of public or community housing, but this is a private purchased room. Key word PRIVATE!!!! Dont Book Here!

Everything was outdated. Hotel had a smell no matter what area we walked in.

Room was on 3rd floor elevator did not work. Room was next door to the stairwell and every time the door slammed it spooked the dogs and they would bark and get upset. We only stayed 2 hours and left deciding it would be better to stay at home where it was cold than to stay here and not be able to relax. It appears that this is an extended stay place lots of people with grills on their balconies.
