Baymont by Wyndham Asheville/Biltmore Village

It was a nice place to stay. It was very convenient to the downtown. The breakfast was great. The hot tub was great. We went in every day.

Everything was very clean; our room, the jacuzzi in our room, the breakfast area and pool and outdoors. We felt very welcome and safe.

The food was good and the parking was convenient. However, the cleaning was substandard. Our bathroom was not cleaned sufficiently. We reported the substandard cleaning to the front desk clerk and he assured us that he would mention it to the manager so that we could get a discount. We have not heard back from them yet.

I was very impressed with the hotel. The rooms were clean , and everything looked very nice. I rate this hotel a 10. Definitely would recommend your hotel. I also want to commend the hotel staff who were very helpful and friendly when we checked in.

Over all it is a very good hotel the first room we were assigned was next to elevator, soda ma home and ice machine. They kindly changed our room. My minor complaints. The breakfast, while good, was in a small room, so not enough tables and chairs. The elevator is a bit slow for such a busy hotel. One night there was not enough parking

The breakfast was very good and the breakfast attendant was friendly and did an excellent job keeping everything stocked and helping folks. We really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub especially after a busy day. The air conditioning was nice and cool and I appreciated being able to adjust it myself. The mini fridge was nice, too. The ladies who cleaned the room were also very friendly and helpful. Elevator was slow, seemed like the building should have had two elevators. Ran out of clean towels/bathmat and wasn’t sure how to get more at night. Was on a very busy street on a sharp curve.

This was a nice surprise! The hotel was spotless and smelled great! The staff were helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were super clean and quiet and I was impressed with the sanitizers they had everywhere. We will definitely be back!

I hate a 4 pm check in time! It used to be 3 pm...why change it? that is late enough anyway. It should be 2 pm honestly! And, most people will check out way before allocated check out time. For people traveling long distances, an earlier check in time is very important because once you get to your destination you are tired and ready to get in and settled and rest some.

The check in staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and we loved there were both soft and firm pillows on bed. A good breakfast selection with waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, fruit, oatmeal, pastries, yogurt, muffins, toast, bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, etc. We appreciated there were nice, fluffy towels in the bathroom. Overall, there were good attention to details towards the comfort of our stay. We will definitely choose to visit again!!

The mattress was a little soft for me to sleep. The heat and air conditioner were bad that I had hard time to adjust.

Everything you need, clean and comfortable beds, microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was very good, love having fresh food and also biscuits and sausage/bacon and eggs plenty for all. Very convenient if you like to stay around the Biltmore Estate and Art district.

One of the most accommodating staffs I have had the pleasure of being hosted by. The Baymont is the go to place in Asheville for a romantic getaway.

Breakfast was standard. Breakfast room was small, so no lingering after eating. Parking lot a little cramped, but we always found a spot.

The property is clean, but a dated. There is 1 small elevator that is very busy. Our stay was fine, but I was disappointed that about an hour after check in they started emailing and texting us to do online check out for the next day. We got 5 such messages. It seemed like they could wait until a few hours before check out. The fact that we barely got in our room and they were already pushing for us to check out did not make for a relaxing experience.

We had a quick 1 night stay and all was fine. Just old carpet but seemed clean. Very small bathroom. It met our 1 night needs.

The hotel was clean enough, although, as others have said, it could really use with an update. The staff seemed nice, the little that I interacted with them. The breakfast was small but had a wide enough selection of foods to have something for everybody. The back parking lot was almost constantly a mess. I'm not sure who needs to take care of the trash situation out there but it seemed out of control.

It was fine. Can’t say it’s the type of hotel room I’d like to lounge about in, but it was sufficient for one night of sleep.

It was very loud and I work at night and required sleep during the day. The staff knew i worked at night, but when i requested a late check out to drive home, safely. I was told, despite walking in at 8am that they could only extend me until noon. I will not book another reservation there. Especially being a night time travel nurse in the area

The hotel was nice. It was just frustrating to get checked in. I was using my mom’s credit card to pay for the room. She couldn’t physically be there because she’s in Hospice. I had 2 grandchildren ready for bed and it took almost 2 hours to get checked in. I understand policy but it was very difficult to get everything squared away. Another client came in and he reserved his room with a card he didn’t physically have but was in his Apple Pay. He made the reservation online so he could get extra bonus points but had to use another card. Just ridiculous. 😡

Some furniture needed updating, there was a small rip in the chair and lampshades but popl, hot tub, excerise room were clean and well maintained. Excellent breakfast but the breakfast room is small and can get crowded. Traffic is heavy at certain times of day making getting in and out a little difficult. Safe area walkable to restaurants.

I booked this hotel for a last minute trip and I’m glad that I did and will certainly be returning. The staff was so nice, rooms were clean, and a wonderful breakfast! It was also very quiet at night.

Breakfast area small, eggs and bacon cold (eggs were warm second morning but because of the Aircon went cold after a few mouthfuls.) everything plastic or cardboard , for recycling I guess, knives forks etc out of a dispenser which from the UK was very strange. The recycling angle is good except people were putting food waste in the bin as well, notices not clear enough so a complete waste of time. Overall a good base for Asheville and the Biltmore estate.

I needed toothpaste and the lady at the front desk said she had to hunt some down. She called up to my room to let me know she was still looking then later brought it to my room. Room was clean and check in was easy!

Stayed one night here and was floored by how great it was for the value. There was some nice soft music playing in the lobby, my check in was literally 2 minutes, the decor and interior were very upscale. When I walked in my room there were some lamps already on and a little nightlight lit near the sink area which gave it a very cozy feel. The bed was super comfy! My room overlooked the busy street so I would suggest if you are a night shift worker ask for a room on the backside of the hotel cause the street can get noisy as it’s by a major level 1 trauma hospital. Overall a great stay and I’d highly recommend!

The texts for upgrade such as jetted tub or late/early check in was unique and I enjoyed knowing these options were available.

I thought this was an excellent hotel, clean, nice rooms, bed was acceptable, not my bed at home but it was acceptable. Starbucks was right next door and we could walk to the Texas Roadhouse which allowed my husband and I both to be able to enjoy some adult beverages since we could walk back to the hotel. My only complaint was the coffee in the reception area was empty at 6pm Saturday and the hand sanitizer bottles near the elevator were empty for our whole 2 night stay but everything else was excellent.

The traffic made it difficult to get in the parking lot, but other than that it was a good place to stay!

It was an affordable and clean place to stay close to the Biltmore. With so much of Asheville still recovering from Helene, it was in overall good condition with typical continental breakfast.

Check-in was easy and fast. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great pillows. The room was everything we had hoped for. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time we are in the area. The breakfast was regular hotel breakfast. I tried the sausage, eggs, biscuit and gravy. I only ate a bite of each. I would pass on that. Didn’t stay long enough to use the pool but it looked good.

After mobile check in I received a phone call while I was in route to the hotel informing me that a $150 cash bond is required for locals!! I did not see this on the property listing. I was simply in need of a place to stay while doing hurricane Helene repair work on our house. The guy who called me was rude and inflexible. I scrambled to get cash. When I arrived at the hotel no one asked me for the bond. This was a great and unnecessary inconvenience. Otherwise a clean and comfortable stay.

4 guys parked in back parking lot all night long with doors open and smoking. Work truck of some sort. Parked near the rear entrance. Just made you feel uneasy. Checked with front desk and they said they were fine. But just odd when you look out of your window and the same truck and guys were there from 6pm all night long both nights we were there.

And I liked that the doors locked after a certain time at night. You had to have a key card to get in. It was safe. Good location to down town and other things. Staff was friendly. Would stay again.

Everything was great other than limited parking spots, only 1 left when we pulled in at midnight and couldn’t fit my truck into so they had me pull into a non parking spot where I could fit my truck safely.

It was very nice, the girls at front desk checked me in fairly quickly I was very tired from the post hurricane procedure.

Everything was great! Bed was wonderful and it was very quiet! Would stay here again! Staff were very friendly and helpful!

Good price for what it is, but you should know there is nothing left open in walking distance. The room was good enough and very clean, but they only have one elevator for the whole hotel and the dining room is the size of my dining room at home, but serves the whole hotel. Nice people and decent breakfast, but the infrastructure just doesn’t support this many rooms.

Our room was on the 1st floor. We had to pass the laundry and cleaning staff to get to our room. When we arrived the door to the room was not even closed tight. We later found sticky stuff on the end table and didn't know.

Very clean, terrific, friendly staff, very,very comfy beds. Excellent breakfast, very good variety of foods, (Im diabetic). We’ve stayed there several,times as we have family in Asheville and plan to,stay there whenever we’re in Asheville.

Everything was so great we made a second stop on our travel home. We used my husbands veteran discount and booked directly through the hotel for the best deal which was very good. We highly recommended this hotel!

It was amazing! A fairly large jetted tub and a ceiling fan! Breakfast bar had a large variety of breakfast foods - including biscuits and gravy! All the reviews were right on the money!

Overall my stay was pleasant. Nothing remarkable but also nothing detrimental. It is definitely an older property that has had a few light remodels over the years. The staff was wonderful and professional on the order of a full service hotel. The elevator is from the Bush administration and is laughably slow. Breakfast is standard fare however the breakfast room is akin to a BnB not adequate for a hotel of this size at all. Breakfast options are what you'd find at any franchised property. The pancake maker was nice but didn't make up for the ice cold bacon. I had a room with a Jacuzzi tub and that is probably where the age of the property really shows. My partner likened the mirrors and overall setup to a scene from a rather lewd movie genre. Its like taking a bath in the 1990s. Not worth the upcharge. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Great location. Is it worth the nightly rate... That's certainly debatable.

Comfortable and clean room with Dove bath products. Breakfast options varied and good quality. Breakfast attendant very helpful and constantly kept items stocked and fresh.

Very clean room, comfortable bed, good pillows. Breakfast was great, the attendant was friendly and helpful. Room wasnt large, nor was bathroom, but the sink was in the entryway, so that helped. One complaint was that the building has 5 floors, but only one painfully slow elevator. We took the stairs down from the 5th floor. But really, 5 floors and only 1 elevator??

I thought the elevator took a long time to get to you. Really not able to use the spa due to children being in it for long periods of time.

Breakfast buffet was very fine. Offering green tea bags would be a good addition.
