    We booked the Studio Room. Although it was spacious, the bed was hard, and it seemed quite small for a queen-size. It didn't have a bathtub in the bathroom, as advertised. The pool and hot tub were out of service for repair, which was quite a disappointment for us. Breakfast offered a limited selection of dishes. Some staff were nice, while others were not. Low-budget hotel!

    Staff was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely kind and went above and beyond. You could tell the hotel and been recently renovated. We didn't like the set up of the bathroom, with the sink outside. Breakfast was mid, but the staff on duty in the cafe was monitoring every little thing we did and made us feel uncomfortable.

    Joint birthday celebration with my husband. Breakfast was excellent! Cage free scrambled eggs, sausage links, bacon, potato slices with skins, onions and peppers . Toast, bagels, muffins, bread, DIY waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit… close to all but far enough for privacy. Informative and friendly staff. Front desk young man gave us the best pizza just three storefronts away! Standard Pizza is so not standard. Clean efficiency rooms. No complaints. Will go again. Only 1/2 mile to entrance of Biltmore.

    We loved this Inn. Very clean, has excellent staff, blackout drapes. Loaded with refrig, stove, dishwasher and lots of fresh white towels. Breakfast was wonderful. Hot coffee, tea,juice, eggs, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, it was all there. We were also 1 mile from Biltimore gate, and 3 miles from downtown. Highly recommend this place if you come for a night or a week.

    We have stayed here several times while visiting Asheville for the weekend. We love the location; walk-able to many restaurants and breweries. It's a little quieter and less busy than staying in downtown Asheville, which we appreciate. Love the spacious rooms and the kitchen. The breakfasts are great and there are a lot of options to choose from.

    We liked the spacious room with the full kitchen minus a stove, a king bed, and a couch. The free breakfast was good. The stools at the table in the room were uncomfortable with no back rest. The hotel was in a great location to visit the Biltmore Estate, the Asheville Visitor Center, take the Hop On, Hop Off Trolley with 10 stops and eat at several local restaurants. Our room was quiet except when the ac fan turned on.

    Was warmly greeted upon arrival, room and public spaces were exceptionally clean. Breakfast offered a great assortment of breakfast items. Was very comfortable, wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Only negative was room was next to elevator, and the operating of the elevator was somewhat annoying. It wasn’t excessively loud, just produced a humming noise when operating.

    The accommodation we stayed in had a tranquil ambiance that was conducive to relaxation. As we did not bring any pets along, we expected the room to be free of any pet-related mess. However, we were disappointed to find that the floors, particularly the carpets, and the bathroom were covered in pet hair, which had accumulated in corners and even in the bathtub.The beds were not that comfortable we left a day early to go back home

    I was able to check in early. Everything was clean-- the room, pool, laundry room, spa, fitness center, the property, the dining area, etc. Breakfast was great. Its free and they have a waffle maker. I went to every one while there. They have a wide variety of food. There are many different tables and seats to accommodate everyone. The hotel is dog friendly, but they weren't running all over the place. The spa was a wonderful temperature and there are towels stocked in the pool area as well as the fitness area. All of the staff is nice and friendly, going the extra. The laundry is not expensive. I washed two loads for less than $10. That includes the detergent that was sold on site. The heat works wonderfully in the room, which was needed during the rainstorm last week. Anything that you need extra, the staff has no problem accommodating you. Receiving packages there is a breeze. There is a room up front. Parking is FREE! The beds are comfortable. The room was clean, and I always carry Lysol spray everywhere. I didn't have to bomb the place. I was able to choose the floor that I wanted to stay on. There are three floors and thankfully, the elevator is not slow. Big bonus: the place was quiet. That's saying a lot, especially since I had my baby with me crying some nights. It was a relief that my family was able to have the kitchen so that we could cook and store our meals. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

    To begin with, only one elevator was working... it took 5 minutes to get up or down. There was no hot water, they said they didnt know when it would be fixed. The wall thermostat wasnt working, it was freezing in the room... probably wont stay in that Springhill again.

    My 3 little pups and I stayed here 5-19 November 2023 and had the most wonderful stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We were close enough to the elevator and the stairs to make potty breaks very quick & easy. The entrances to the hotel can be a bit tricky with bags and pups in tow, but the hotel staff did help when and where they could. Only one elevator and only one level entrance to roll things in, so if you aren’t lucky enough to get parking close to that entrance, you’re likely going to break a sweat, no matter how cool it is outside. The pet walk/relief areas were VERY dark at sunset. I did suggest to the hotel staff to install at least some ground level lights at the base of the building that aim away from the room windows at that level to provide more light. My little flashlight wasn’t enough to feel comfortable in the darkness, especially knowing there are black bears out there. I must say too, it is absolutely infuriating that some pet owners feel like they don’t need to clean up after their pets. They ruin it for everyone else. I stepped in 💩 twice!!     Good hotel in a great location for accessing the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as routes elsewhere and the city itself. Nice room , quiet, easy parking. Great to have a kitchen when staying for a week. Only things I would change are a bigger tub and a better set of pans in the kitchen.

    This is a wonderful Marriott. The staff are top notch and friendly. The room was well designed with excellent amenities and even windows that open !! The breakfast was better than usual and the staff there were so helpful. In that space they had games for children and books to share.     This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Roomy, clean, secure and close to everything. Really friendly staff, excellent breakfast choices, indoor pool which I did not use but it’s still a nice option along with a workout room. My king suite had a large comfortable bed, nice living area, good TV and full kitchen. They welcome animals with a one time reasonable fee versus $40 per cat per day like one place I stayed. I will be seeking out Residence Inn by Marriott everywhere else I go

    Have stayed there close to a dozen times over the last 10 yrs. Staff was friendly, breakfast excellent, room clean, amenities nice. Felt safe there. Difficult to travel when handicapped so pleased that only had a short distance to get baggage to room. Not great but more manageable than most Residence Inns. We use them all. This was not a handicapped room but we were just staying overnight. Still feel that Residence Inn doesn't get what it's like to be handicapped but it was worse when we got to Chattanooga so....it was better than that!

    The people who worked the breakfast area were very nice and helpful. The hotel itself definitely needs to be updated, carpet was worn bathtub a little iffy. We booked and paid for a room with a fireplace, when we brought this up with front desk we were to D Hotels.com did not notify them we wanted this type room -huge disappointment. Not sure who was actually at fault on this issue.

    The employees were very nice for the most part. The bed was comfortable. unfortunately bug(s) were found in the room and seen in the hotel. It was in all the corners, on the back of the couch pillows, stuck to the tables, etc. I think the maids tried to clean it up (the couch smelled like it had recently been shampooed) but it had to have been under all the furniture as it just kept appearing. I had to vacuum out my car when i got home due to all the hair we brought back with us. The pool area was pretty nice but the hot tub was green. The front desk didn't seem to know what to do about it so they put an out of order sign on it for a while until it was lighter green, then reopened it. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others with the caveat that a non-pet room is a must.

    Residence Inn is a solid hotel. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful when needed. The breakfast is very good, including the regular items and cheese and fresh fruit. The bed is comfortable. The hotel overall is quiet. I have stayed several times and have never been disappointed.

    By far the worst experience I've had traveling. Unloaded the car and went to check in. At this time, I'm informed that the hotel overbooked and they made reservations at a Holiday Inn about 10 minutes away, this despite the fact that I prepaid for my room over a week in advance. On top of this, when I originally booked, the Residence Inn was more expensive than the Holiday Inn but no reimbursement was offered. I was assured that we would have the same room type.(I had booked a suite with a separate bedroom so a couple could have some privacy). We reload the car and head to the Holiday Inn. We get there and of course we don't have a suite reserved for us. We have 2 beds in 1 room, no chance for privacy. It was inconsideration followed by incompetence.

    Room #202...1 BR Queen Suite. Clean and Updated. Main issue was the outside noises not under the control of the hotel. Train whistles and ambulance sirens multiple times in the middle of the night...nearly every night. Breakfast buffet was very nice and the stall was friendly and engaging at every opportunity.
