Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its great location, clean rooms, and friendly staff. The breakfast is a highlight for many, but some guests have noted a decline in quality. The hotel seems to be in need of some updates and maintenance, as several guests have mentioned issues with the rooms and amenities.

Great location. Wonderful room and amenities.

So close to OSF and shops and restaurants. Hotel staff so friendly and helpful, good breakfast and beautiful , peaceful garden outback. Is getting a little rundown but is kept clean.
- 5/5
The room was large and comfortable with plenty of seating. Parking is limited.
- 5/5
Our favorite close-to-OSF-theaters. Very comfortable & convenient. Wonderful breakfast food and staff. Close parking.
- 5/5
Room was clean and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was good, but a little variety would be nice.
- 5/5
Great location close the theater. Would stay again
- 5/5
Comfortable, clean room. Great breakfast. Just a couple blocks from the cute downtown area of local shops and restaurants.
- 4/5
Room was great. Breakfast was good. Breakfast staff was so friendly and helpful. Didn't like the fact that the hotel didn't have a usb for phone charging - nor did they have any extra charging infrastructure. It seems like a $5.00 charger would be great. Like a robe you could charge for it if it was not left in the room.
- 4.5/5
Location and breakfast Beds were a bit soft
- 5/5
Definitely recommend. Nice hotel with easy walkable access to Shakespeare Festival and downtown.
- 4/5
Perfectly fine place to stay for three nights while enjoying theater at the Shakespeare Festival. It’s an easy walk to the theaters and restaurants. Room was relatively large, bed was comfortable, and it was very clean. It also has an exit in back of the hotel which shaves off a couple of minutes of your walk to downtown.

Great, convienient location!

The complimentary gift coupon to a local restaurant within walking distance of the hotel was appreciated. The hotel is dated and dark but clean and the beds were comfortable.
- 4/5
Beautiful rooms and easy walking distant to downtown. Not enough pillows.

Love staying here when we visit Ashland

Clean property, close to lacrosse fields, and great staff!
- 3/5
It’s adequate. Not something to really look forward to. Was placed in the building for guests with dogs although we had no dog. First floor bedroom window was right on the street. The hotel was very full so parking was also filled up.
- 5/5
Large, clean rooms, and a location within easy walking distance of the Shakespeare Festival and downtown Ashland.
- 2/5
Easy check in Hotel was a maze and the one elevator was ancient.. The underground parking was a nightmare to figure out and doesnt seem legal. Stay was not comfortable, but decent in a pinch. Wish there had been more amenities like the ability to purchase an ibprophene for my partner.

The facility was cleaned, and the staff was very friendly. There were three people in our party and I requested to have a rollaway bed put in the room so we could each have our own bed and they promise to do that and in fact I had gotten a text the week before the trip telling me that that was done. When I showed up to check in all they had were two queens and when we went to check the room we realized that there was absolutely no place to put a rollaway bed at all. The lady at the front desk told us that that’s all they had and they eventually allowed us to look at a room that had two beds that was slightly larger and we were able to get a roll up in there. They assured us that it was not their problem because that’s those are the only configuration of rooms that they have and then it’s the problem of Booking.com who assured us that we could do this. I would not stay there again.

Nice quiet garden views. Hearty breakfast. Charging station was only for level 2 teslas, so wouldn't work for other evs.
- 3/5
It is a very pleasant location and nice quiet rooms. But... I had paid with Expedia and my visa was charged again (more) at checkin. I saw it later and went to desk. She apologized and it looks like it was reversed, but would not have been. Also at checkout they refused to give me a receipt saying that this was expedia's issue, not theirs.

The breakfast could have been better.

Staff very friendly.
- 5/5
Clean, spacious room. Close to restaurants and shops. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
- 5/5
Great location and staff
- 5/5
The location is perfect for walking into town to enjoy the many delicious dining places and going to the theater.
- 5/5
This was an excellent stay. Locations was ideal so we were able to walk to a restaurant for dinner. The plus for us was the Tesla level 2 charger in the lower car park. While a bit tricky to get down there it was safe and close to a door that gave us immediate access to our room. Another plus was the lovely view of the garden that we walked in and practiced Taiji before heading out in the morning. The frogs amused us during the night with their night songs. Comfy bed. Just one minus…no magnifying mirror in bathroom and lighting was bad. All in all, we’ll definitely return.
- 2/5
Property was nice and centrally located to downtown Ashland.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet location
- 5/5
This is a very nice hotel. Everything appears new. We enjoyed the hot tub. Staff was kind in all their interactions, accommodating special requests as best they could. Breakfast had so many choices and felt like a friendly welcoming place.
- 4/5
Everything was great, clean and breakfast was nicely done. Our only issue and it’s the same at every place and that was the room overlooked vacant patio and surface street. Definitely not a deal breaker but not excellent. We will stay here again.

Excellent location and service
- 4/5
Parking is fine, the breakfast was ok. We like fresh fruit and the banana were bruised and old but the tangerines were good. They had a giant bowl of cottage cheese and one of yogurt but it made me uncomfortable and I prefer the small yogurt containers.
- 5/5
Pet friendly and clean. Would stay again
- 5/5
Wonderful Breakfast and a very spacious And "well-maintained room close to shopping
- 5/5
Property is very nice inside and out, large and clean rooms, lobby and property setting is beautiful, breakfast was great and the property is walking distance to downtown. My wife and I will definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
We’ve stayed here a number of times. Excellent hotel, and within easy walking distance to Lithia Park and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and restaurants.
- 3/5
Beautiful place and quiet, but the EV charging was challenging to get to and then didn’t work. Only go if you have a small compact car.
- 5/5
The woman at the front desk answered all questions, and agreed to move us to a room closer to our relatives. Some rooms were better situated like my sister’s in 231 (?) which had a couch and a bright view. Very approachable snd accommodating. Thank you.
- 5/5
We stayed at Bard's Inn across the street as well. Both hotels are pretty good. If you plan to utilize the hotel amenities or if you prefer a slightly better breakfast selection, then pick Plaza Inn.
- 3/5
Expected a clean and well run facility. Found a damaged and dirty facility with unprofessional staff.
- 4/5
Parking is easy, great places to walk dogs right out of the door, rooms are spacious, area is quiet.
- 5/5
Just what we needed
- 4/5
Free Tesla charging

- 4/5
The staff was great and the room was more than what I had expected!
- 5/5
Quick and easy check in. Room with the King bed was very clean.
- 5/5
Kind people, great room, wonderful location.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean facility, complimentary take out breakfast.
- 3/5
When we arrived at our room, I immediately noticed that we have been placed in a room that I didn’t book. I booked and paid for a room through Expedia that was supposed to have a balcony to the outside. We did not get a room with a balcony and when I asked for them to correct the mistake they said it is impossible to correct mistakes on rooms booked through Expedia. That was disappointing. Also the door to the end room refrigerator fell off and was broken. The elevator was broken the majority of the time I was there and could not get from the third floor to the first floor. The room was clean and cozy. The grounds are clean. I would stay there again however I would book it directly through the hotel and not Expedia to avoid future problems with getting the wrong room.
- 5/5
Very friendly front desk, quiet nice room, spacious and clean. cozy breakfast must be beautiful in the summertime too
- 5/5
Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast.
- 5/5
We stayed here for an overnight on a winter trip from Washington to California. We liked it so well we stayed again on the way home. Our room was large and well maintained. It’s just a 5-8 minute walk into town where there are many fine restaurants. Their off season breakfast service was a bit weak, but I appreciate they use real porcelain plates and silverware (not paper and plastic). We’d stay again on our next trip through.
- 5/5
Quiet location within easy walking distance to downtown. Spacious rooms. Pet friendly. Good parking.
- 2/5
Fitness center was closed. Unpleasant staff. Lousy breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean room, Quiet, Pet friendly
- 3/5
We’ve stayed at the Plaza many times over the past 10 years, mostly during the holidays and off OSF. The quality of this hotel has definitely dropped in the past few years. Many of the amenities that they offered that made them a unique hotel are gone. The staff level has decreased, with the front desk clerk running the scarce breakfast. The breakfast room used to be kept well stocked with fresh food, but not anymore. Normally the staff is very accommodating, but there is a blonde front desk gal that has no concept of customer service, and was extremely rude to us and other guests. The rooms are still nice, but it is starting to show its age. It’s very convenient to all the shops & restaurants downtown. It’s a bit of bummer, because this hotel has changed, and not for the better.
- 4/5
Staff was great & the breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
Really beautiful area, and so close to downtown. Very clean, large rooms.
- 2/5
Room was not ready at 4:00. We had tried to check in earlier. Left our number with them to call us when ready. Never heard from them so at 4:00 we tried to check in. Room still wasn’t ready. They said 5 mins more as they were cleaning it. Didn’t get keys until 4:20. The man who helped us at 3:00 was nice, but there was an older lady working also that was very put off when we asked questions. That same lady at 4:00 again was unfriendly and unapologetic. We have never had such a rude experience before when checking into a hotel. We understand not getting to check in before 4:00, but after 4:00 we should not have had a problem. That woman made us feel like we were bothering her. If we hadn’t prepaid, we would have gone somewhere else.
- 5/5
A clean and spacious room with a comfy bed. A block from food, shopping and theater area. We come to Ashland a couple of times a year, and usually stay here.
- 4/5
Nice stay again in Ashland amazing location for food and shopping! Love the local vibe. Comfortable bed and simple breakfast to start the day off right!
- 4/5
Ther was very loud thumping coming from the footsteps of the room above me. This happened late into the evening and also early in the morning
- 5/5
The check-in was easy, the room was excellant, very clean with plenty of towels. The room had coffee, microwave and refrigerator ready to go along with a comfortable bed.
- 2/5
I stayed at this property several times, it looked to be very empty and check in. It was late after 4 PM. checking people seem to be disinterested in finding out what the issue was rectifying the problem or even really caring, they blame this on off-season and just seem to be very nonchalant about it.
- 5/5
Premium quality hotel. Only one minor oops...breakfast was provided. It was very good. 1st day food was terrific. 2nd and third days the food was not served at same temp.Potatoes not quite warm and not cooked through. Bacon not the same as 1st day. Potatoes not edible on 3rd day. Seemed to be missing proper prep. I'd still choose this site to stay again.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was very clean and location fit well for this trip.
- 4/5
Comfortable accomodations, friendly staff....would stay here again.
- 4/5
Close to the park, close to shopping
- 5/5
being able to bring our dog was a huge advantage. good sized room and large comfy bed.
- 5/5
Desk staff was very nice room clean and quiet
- 3/5
Ashland was beautiful, but this hotel was just ok. When we arrived they had given us the wrong room so after driving for 10 hours and arriving at nearly midnight, three of us hauled our stuff upstairs to walk into a room with one bed. When I went to the lobby to ask about this the woman behind the counter looked very worried, but was able to find us a new room with two beds. She was very nice about it. The next night we arrived back at the hotel after spending the day exploring Ashland and found that we couldn’t get back into our room. They had not keyed it correctly for two nights so back down to the front desk I went to get it fixed. They were very pleasant and got it resolved. One of the weirdest things was when we got off of the elevator, right in the middle of the floor where all patrons would have to walk, it looked like someone spilled a giant bowl of uncooked oatmeal or something, all over the carpet and walk area. We stayed for two nights and the mess was never cleaned up. That concerned me about the level of cleanliness going on throughout the hotel. We did discover that the maid staff did not speak English. While that wasn’t bothersome to us, other than we had a question and they weren’t able to help (no biggie at all), it made me wonder if a language barrier might impact their ability to do their jobs or do them well. The hotel was fine, definitely average, but it did seem like there were a lot of little things for only being there a short amount of time.
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Always a great place to stay, clean, comfortable and a nice breakfast to boot. Thank you!
- 5/5
comfortable bed, nice courtyard view walkable to town.
- 4/5
My biggest request would be that the driveway was better lit at night and that the parking garage was better lit. Coming in at night it was a bit difficult to see the driveway and then I had to park at the back of the parking garage which was a little scary. The breakfast was simple, but adequate. Overall, happy with my stay there.
- 4/5
great location. Used to be the premium place to stay with good accessibility and still has features of great location, decent rooms but something felt a little off. Could have been the lack of afternoon wine or tea, and bed time PB and J sandwiches after the theater which was previously offered and felt very special.
- 5/5
The room was large and clean and air conditioner. Well. Breakfast with some healthy options. The classes is close to downtown. It was very safe.
- 4/5
The bed in my room was horrible — felt like sleeping on a bed ick
- 5/5
Breakfast room clean and staff friendly. Easy walking distance to Lithia Park and downtown.
- 5/5
We were traveling with a pet and it was very easy with convenient parking and walkability to town. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There were many hot breakfast item choices. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would happily stay again!
- 3/5
I was put out in the other building, which is not connected through the rain and then it’s two levels with no elevator.! Felt like I was camping
- 5/5
Charming hotel
- 4/5
Convenient and nice hotel in easy walking distance to OSF theater
- 5/5
With a great view of the garden, spacious room with couch and super soft bed, Tesla chargers, and a short walk to Lithia Park - this place is perfect for us! The free breakfast is pretty good too: bacon, scrambled eggs, yogurt, oranges/bananas and a waffle maker. Only a couple minor down sides: tiny bottles of shampoo etc rather than built in large bottles, plastic water glasses and a really narrow driveway down to the chargers. Nothing to change our minds, though. A great place to stay.
- 5/5
Great location for downtown dining and activities. Breakfast is not bad.
- 5/5
Great view and beautiful landscape.
- 4/5
Nice sized rooms and tasty breakfast.
- 3/5
A/C was SUPER loud (old unit) Tiny room.
- 4/5
Great property and nice staff. More towels in the bathroom and more soap would be helpful.
- 4/5
Daytime staff was professional and helpful, nighttime staff was young people who felt the need to repeat themselves over and over, as if being a senior automatically made one deaf. The pet-friendly rooms are in a separate building across the parking lot from the lobby and main building. The room was adequate, clean and quiet. The room layout was not well-thought out, some wasted space. Opening the bathroom door blocks access to the coffee maker and fridge, which is a nuisance with a pet that needs to get to food/water bowls at all times. Overall, would recommend to those visiting Ashland with their dog. Cats not allowed, BTW.
- 5/5
Staff was great, cleaned room and left fresh towels, etc. everyday. Room was spacious. Great location. Great breakfast.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice but the area for dogs had too dark of a carpet , food was not picked up from the hallways
- 5/5
I’ve stayed here before and like this place each I’m here. It has a great location, very central to Ashland and easy walking distance from downtown shops and restaurants. Most of the rooms look out on a beautiful green belt. The staff are always friendly and organized and I just think it’s a great value for the price.
- 5/5
Service was good location was good too. A short walking distance to downtown.
- 4/5
Nice place close to Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
- 5/5
Near to Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and many restaurants. Beautiful Lithia Park nearby.
- 5/5
We always stay here when on Ashland. Hotel is nice and centrally located, walking distance from restaurants, park and the Shakespeare Theater.
- 4/5
This is a charming hotel, lovely and convenient location bordering on the creek. New management and some small things have changed. Instead of the post evening play freshly baked cookies, you now may pay for baked goods and wine (not quite as inviting) and only available half the week. Our room on the creek side was subject to the noise of very early garbage pickup , not the hotel’s fault but be aware. Lastly, tiny plastic body wash containers are not eco friendly. Suggest these be discontinued.
- 5/5
This hotel is serviceable. Nothing terribly cute/quaint, but close to town and clean. The TV is so small, pretty difficult to see from the bed.
- 3/5
Never stayed in a hotel where they wouldn't let you check out a little late, even if you paid them a fee, and they didn't seem a whole apologetic. Sort of annoyed by the question, even. About what you would expect otherwise for the price, though.
- 5/5
wonderful. Staff at the front desk not friendly.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
As an elderly guest with some dietary restrictions (gluten), their complementary breakfast selections were excellent.
- 4/5
Easy to walk to events
- 5/5
Very convenient location
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Great central location. Clean rooms and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Easy walk to dining and the theaters! Quiet, safe. Loved the free wine tasting!
- 5/5
Quiet and walkable
- 4/5
Loved being near the creek. Wine tasting was a nice touch.
- 5/5
This was a great location to attend one of the plays. We walked to a fabulous dinner and to the theatre. They had a wine tasting in the afternoon and a sweet treat gathering after the play. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy exploring downtown.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and conveniently located within walking distance to the theater and downtown. The staff was friendly, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
- 4/5
The place was nice and clean our room was good. I booked this hotel based on the pictures online of the grounds, landscaping and water feature, we are into that, but we were very underwhelmed in person, making me feel like I paid too much
- 5/5
Room was small but the property was nice
- 5/5
Property is quaint and conveniently located just a block off Main St. We were in town for the Shakespeare Festival and didn't use our car from the moment we parked it upon arrival. Lots of eateries and shops within a few minutes walk as well as theater venues, too. Excellent hot breakfast with several options each morning.
- 5/5
Great location, walk to everything downtown, convenient parking and EV charging.
- 5/5
Great experience and so close to everything. We will stay here again. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Great place to stay in Ashland! Walking distance to just about everything.
- 4/5
The hotel was perfect. I stayed in the towers. It was quiet, relaxing, and very comfortable. The staff was impeccable.
- 5/5
It was nice to have the wine tasting when we arrived. The breakfast was very nice and staff kept up with the food and cleanliness
- 4/5
Very very noisy at 5 this morning with garbage collection going on for over an hour
- 4/5
Great location and spacious room
- 5/5
Great hotel, walking distance to Shakespeare Festival, restaurants, and shops.
- 3/5
Check-in was slow due to only one employee at Check-in time.
- 5/5
Four day stay to see plays. Easy walking distance to OSF. Parking was easy. Nice breakfast with a peaceful outdoor space. Room was spacious and we loved having 2 comfortable chairs. Pillows were meh but the bed was comfortable. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom. Wifi worked well but it was funny that they still had ethernet connections. Reception space had a local winery with tastings.
- 5/5
Loved everything. This is by far the best lodging option in Ashland!
- 5/5
Hotel was a step above your normal hotel stay.
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly. It’s located close to all of the stores and restaurants in the cute neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the jacuzzi
- 5/5
Great location to the plays and shopping , restaurants. Very clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
very close to the key downtown restaurants, shops, and Shakespeare festival venues. Quiet, Clean, & Reasonable pricing.
- 5/5
Friendly accommodating staff. Clean rooms. Great daily breakfast. Within walking distance of great restaurants and plays. Would definitely go again.
- 3/5
A/C wasn’t working during 90° heat, and no one answered at front desk. Had to sweat it out all night. Iron didn’t work. Both situations were rectified quickly. Nice breakfast patio. Coin operated laundry available.
- 5/5
This property is close to everything a bunch of restaurants. Very walkable.
- 4/5
The room was not ready for check in until about a half hour past check in time. Front desk staff was kind and quick but probably needed another person helping because there were several groups. Our room was not cool enough. We had to open the door to the hallway while the air conditioning ran on high for about an hour before it felt comfortable. The bed was amazing. The location and staff are great.
- 5/5
Very clean, quiet, great location, good breakfast
- 5/5
Very convenient to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, local restaurants, and Lithia Park (very beautiful and highly recommend).
- 5/5
Nice place.
- 5/5
Property was close to outstanding restaurants, very clean, and staff was friendly and very helpful.

- 4/5
Walking distance tothe Shakespeare Festval was clearly the reason we chose to come back to the Plaza. The EV underground parking also was a good perk. We kiked the idea of having the breakfast, but
- 5/5
Wonderful and serene garden and convenient proximity to the Shakespeare theater festival
- 5/5
Was able to upgrade to a balcony suite with a view of the creek.
- 3/5
Rooms in this property is aged and it shows. Our room specifically, wasn't cleaned out property (half drunk soda can lying around), some lights didn't work and TV was definitely old. So it was just an ok stay, I am not sure if I would choose to return. The upside was that the location was ideal and conveniently located, walking distance to the dining options.
- 4/5
Cute little spot, very conveniently located
- 4/5
Breakfast- no vegan options, no alt milk
- 5/5
Stayed here several times when attending Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Short walk to theater and restaurants. Located next to Ashland Creek in quiet serene setting.
- 4/5
The location of this property is excellent. The room was huge and everything was pretty comfortable. It would be better to have in room coffee with real cups instead of paper and Keurig machines with plastic trash.
- 5/5
This is our go to hotel when staying in Ashland. The staff is friendly and always accommodating. It is an easy walk to downtown, the theater, Lithia Park, and lots of good restaurants nearby.
- 5/5
Very nice stay. Rooms are lovely. Breakfast is tasty but could use a bit more fresh fruit. Or at least some. Also advertised sweets and treats from 9-12 that were not available. We stay here annually and will return
- 4/5
The location could not be beat. Check-in was chaotic and took twenty minutes when it should have taken two. Our room was just fine, except that the sink shot water out against the backsplash whenever we turned the water on fully. The place isn't really prepared to handle tours; several came and went during our stay. The breakfast room has about twelve tables (more out on the deck), and there were two dozen people standing around waiting for plates so they could serve themselves; others were trying to find places to sit but couldn't. Tip: show up extremely early for breakfast.
- 5/5
Very friendly front desk, easy to check in and out. Great breakfast, too. location is within easy walk to downtown Ashland.
- 4/5
Was able to walk to where we were going.
- 5/5
the riverfront garden is lovely. Make sure to get a room facing the river. There are a few rooms to avoid - opening directly onto front patio
- 5/5
great location close to dining and drinks.very clean.
- 2/5
We’ve stayed at the Plaza Inn in the past, but not after Covid. I always loved the comfort of the beds and the pillow menu. This time, the bed was terrible, the pillow top was flat from years of use, so the underlying mattress was hard and somewhat lumpy. Bad for someone with back problems. I had to get the extra blanket and fold it and put it under the sheet to have some padding. The pillows likewise were foam and not comfortable. The bathroom fan was almost non-existent. I think the Plaza needs to revamp so,e,things. The staff and the location are excellent.
- 5/5
The location worked well for all aspects of our visit to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
- 4/5
Great location and staff was wonderful.
- 5/5
The lower level parking needed to be better we'll let. Very dark.
- 5/5
We’ve been staying there for 20 years. The complimentary breakfast quality has deteriorated and not quite as good as it used to be. Other than that, still a great place to stay!

my only complaint was about the television which is a big deal for me. It was very difficult to navigate and we were never really sure why we were getting the channel we ended up on. great location! a good deal for the price. i would stay there again.

Easy walking to downtown Ashland in 3 blocks, sited next to a stream for soothing open window sounds at night, lovely room, great breakfast, too!

Love the location, the covered parking, spacious room, quiet but still an easy walk to the town. My go-to hotel for Ashland stopovers.

So close to all the action but also feels like it’s own little world

Could be better: Beds are not very comfortable. Breakfast at 9 a.m. and most items were gone or not replenished. Not a lot of variety for breakfast items

Easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and plays. It was very quiet. No elevator in the building we stayed in, so had to walk luggage upstairs. We were fine but might be difficult for others.

Great location for restaurants, shops, Lithia Park as and of course the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

I usually love this place, but this time they put us in the separate building with the dog owners, even though we do not have a dog. The bathtub in the room had ants in it and there was a blood stain on the sheets. This was a little disappointing and we hope that if we return, they will put us back in the main building.

Very convenient location

Comfortable, large, quiet room. Easy walk downtown. Friendly staff. Only negatives were uncomfortable pillows and unappetizing breakfast. Same thing every day and not high quality.

It was fine.

We felt the breakfast offerings were always the same and very mediocre. When we checked in we were assigned the room right next to the dining room and you reluctantly changed us to a room on the 3rd floor. While cleaning, your staff threw away a reusable Christmas Starbucks cup and upon complaining, was told there was nothing to be done about it. There was no tea available in the room as there used to be, only coffee. These are small complaints but things we noticed from our long history of staying with you.

We often stay here when in Ashland. The rooms are clean & comfortable and the location is great, walking distance to downtown and OSF. We were disappointed this trip in the hotel's complimentary breakfast. There weren't too many choices and flavor wasn't to our tastes. But there are lots of places to eat in Ashland.

Great location, nice room, good breakfast, and free Tesla charging.

Friendly staff and underground parking is great, especially in the winter

We have stayed in this hotel before but this time the room was not clean, the breakfast was nothing to be desired and the hall reeked of smoke. The front desk was welcoming and the grounds were well kept.

The decor is artistic and revolves around the theme of Shakespeare. It is clean and quiet and has no pet odors (I was concerned about this). We parked right outside the building but walked everywhere to go to dinner, shopping, and the Cabaret. The breakfast buffet featured eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, toast, juices, and coffee. It met our needs because we are not big breakfast eaters and didn’t need a gourmet experience. The breakfast area was very clean and well maintained by helpful staff. We have stayed here before and will stay again!

We again stayed at Plaza Inn to break up a longer drive. We’ve been there something like 6 times in the past several years, and it is consistently a good option for us. This time we stayed on the ‘basement’ level, a first for us. Our room had a nice view towards the rear fountain and garden/creek, and being at ground level was a different experience. It grew on us; we generally prefer the upstairs balcony rooms, but the woman at the desk said those rooms are no longer available via ‘evil 3rd party sites’. Breakfast was improved from the last couple times, but we generally get Ruby’s burritos anyway. Unfortunately our room was directly under the breakfast room, so it became quite noisy above us starting around 0700. An affordable stay in Ashland, very walkable to town, we’ll be back.

Great location. Nicely appointed room for those with pets. Smallest soap I’ve ever seen.

Nice hotel within walking distance of lots of food options. Beds are comfy.
