Reviews
The hotel has a great location with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. However, the parking garage is a common complaint among guests, with many finding it cramped, difficult to navigate, and an added expense. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, but some guests have had negative experiences with rude or unprofessional behavior.
- Great location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Cramped and difficult parking garage
- Inconsistent staff behavior

Room was clean, breakfast was nice with many hot items, helpful front desk, very secure property including garage
- 5/5
Very good location and the staff were very useful. I was allotted a room which was not cleaned. When I informed the Front Desk he took personal care to ensure that I was comfortable and allocated a different room Allocated room was not cleaned
- 4.5/5
You have a fridge, a sink, microwave, etc, on your own. Some amenities are a bit old.

Great amenities and location in midtown Atlanta. Very good hotel breakfast- lots of choices and good quality Elevator issues
- 5/5
Upon arrival the staff was amazing! Everyone was so happy and always smiling, the hotel was nice and clean, and surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and anything else. I will be booking again

Great stay

The room wasn't very clean; it had an odor. Bathroom wasn't very clean. Hallways were hot, Parking Garage was horrible. I have stayed at a lot of Home 2 Suites, and this one just did not measure up to the rest.

Elevator was not working immediately after my check-in so I have to checkout next morning and then I have to pay high price to book another hotel on the same day

Clean room, convenient location close to MARTA, comfortable bed Both elevators were broken during our 3-night stay and our room was on the 7th floor. We took it in stride, but it really was not okay for a hotel of Hilton's caliber to have both elevators out of service for days on end. Housekeeping: two big issues. First, no one ever came to clean our rooms, which likely had something to do with the broken elevators. But an even bigger lapse in judgement was when one of the housekeepers opened our door from the outside at 10am the day of our departure WHILE WE WERE STILL IN BED, even though check-out was at 11. Completely inappropriate, to say the least.

The location was near the Marta The elevators broke and we were on the 9th floor. We had to walk up and down the stairs. The carpet was wet and sticky feeling on my feet and we had to move rooms when we got there due to the AC being broke.

The parking garage is dangerous and unacceptable. The breakfast is nasty uncooked meat coffee tastes like cold water. Some staff was amazing but some had attitudes and needs to be retrained on their job duties. The hotel room door lock needs to be fixed the door is too heavy to push open. Garage entrance car reader work poorly and the intercom’s is faulty. Parking spaces is too narrow for the car traffic to be a two way garage. Will never book at the home2suites again.

A great location across the street from MARTA. Breakfast was great. The hotel was updated. Rooms were clean. Staff members were accommodating and professional. Can't think of anything.

Location - EXCELLENT. Free breakfast a great idea and done well. Staff - friendly, and very helpful when requested. Appears to be an older building w/ little updating. Bathroom door would not close entirely. Some mold in shower. Thermostat difficult to adjust. see above
- 3/5
Room was worn out. Mattresses were basically falling apart. Sheets wouldn't stay on mattresses. Towels were thread bare and actually ripped when using. Thos place needs a major renovation/upgrade of mattresses and linens.

The room was clean and the facility was nice. The location is ideal, with a Marta station next door, many restaurants nearby, and excellent security. The room—while clean—was fairly noisy—from both street noise and noise from other rooms. Most workers were polite and helpful, except for a woman at the front desk who was very impatient and rude.

Great location in Midown, very handy to the MARTA rail system. Breakfast average and not very hot.
- 4/5
Location in Midtown is great, but the traffic is horrible in the area. It’s easier to walk! I hate paying extra to park and it was a challenge finding and getting into the garage.

Room large and comfortable. The location is very convenient next to the public transportation station. Rather limited public areas, although those existed they were never fully occupied. The Breakfast is rather basic but adequate.
- 5/5
only complaint was how super heavy the bedroom doors were. Hard to hold open and push in a stroller or such. was told because an old building!
- 5/5
We were here over Easter weekend, and the staff really made Easter Sunday fun! First, the whole staff was extremely professional and FUN. The Easter Bunny even showed up! Way to go above and beyond for your Holiday guests, thank you!
- 2/5
I have stayed at multiple Home2Suites and was quite shocked at the condition of this one. Entire place needs an upgrade.
- 5/5
Everything good
- 5/5
Excellent location and friendly staff
- 3/5
The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was great I feel like the staff communication wasn’t great, I had to call multiple times for basic things like toilet paper.
- 5/5
Excellent and safe hotel to stay in Atlanta
- 2/5
The staff was exceptional. The building is just old and outdated. It needs renovations inside. The room had off putting smells and the bathroom had rub marks from the overuse of other people in the shower and throughout high trafficked areas. Parking should be free for people staying, $35 for a garage you can barley get an SUV in is ridiculous.
- 4.5/5
The property offers a convenient location, adjacent to MARTA and bus stations, and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, a pharmacy, and a supermarket. The room is fully equipped to accommodate anything from preparing snacks to making a complete meal.
- 5/5
Clean rooms comfortable beds. Good Breakfast! I would stay again!
- 4/5
Clean, great location and friendly staff
- 4.5/5
Location and breakfast. Five minute walk from Marta Midtown train station. Too expensive
- 4/5
I did not see the replacement of towels or sheets. They did not come in to make the beds either which surprised me as other hotels do that. I also encountered uncleaned floors when looking behind the tv stand to get something that had fallen behind there.
- 3/5
The room was ok. It is an old room. The carpet in the hallway was pretty dingy. The hotel was fine but the price was very high for the overall condition of the hotel.
- 5/5
Excellent Location.
- 5/5
Location cleanliness breakfast and the staff all get 5 stars from me.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Location was A1 (Near Piedmont park in Midtown and close to many restaurants and bars). Place feels safe, you need key to enter at any time. The staff was really nice. This was the morning of the Peachtree Road race and my wife was running. Check out was at 11AM so we asked if we could keep the car in the parking garage for a few more hours until we come back from Piedmont park. They accepted. It doesn't seem like much, but it saved us a lot of troubles. We would have had to leave the hotel and find another parking spot somewhere and that morning was crazy on the streets (because of the race) Parking was a bit tough to figure out (There's a space where you can park for 15 minutes while you check-in and then your room key can open the parking garage
- 4.5/5
The woman who checked me in and was there all evening was great!!
- 0.5/5
The condition of the room was horrible. The tub had a slow drain. The room was very dusty and wasn’t clean. The door was broken. The curtains had holes in them. The whole experience
- 4.5/5
Cleanliness Too pricey for a one night stay
- 3/5
Keeping the room, refreshed with towels, coffee, toilet paper, and other essentials. They could put blankets and pillows in the room for the pullout couch. There was no extra blankets or pillows. The people who took care of the room did not do a great job. I appreciated the free laundry and fitness center on site and the breakfast was included and it was adequate. The people at the desk are very nice and welcoming. They have space for you to store bikes if you rent bicycles and the parking was very secure I think the parking should be included at no additional charge but we had to pay $30 a night.
- 4.5/5
Phone didn't work.
- 5/5
While our experience at this facility was great, there was a little confusion about using your room key in the elevator. I feel there needs to be more signage to say that you are required to use your room key inside the elevator.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great location.
- 4/5
Clean rooms, great location. Below average breakfast.
- 0.5/5
the beds were comfortable and the location the staff was rude and didn’t know what they were talking about gave away my room due to a no show even though i booked it late at night last minute and gave it away a hour later without calling me.
- 4.5/5
The water to shower was barely lukewarm. Not a big deal during summer time but it was cold outside and a nice warm/shower would have been good.
- 5/5
Is so good
- 5/5
Great staff - perfect location;

Grey-haired gentleman on the front desk when we arrived was a gem! A really nice, friendly man who was incredibly helpful & very knowledgeable. A real credit to the brand 10/10!
- 5/5
The room was wonderful, loved the lay out and the staff was great, had knowledge of the area, and gave good recommendations of nighttime activities.
- 3.5/5
Mediocre breakfast No housekeeping (even though we asked for it)
- 1.5/5
Location was very good. Staff friendly. Our room was never serviced during our four night stay. My wife asked about this at the desk when she asked for clean towels and no effort was made to ask our room number or schedule a housekeeper. This was very sub par for a Hilton.
- 4/5
Wonderful staff, very clean and spacious studio, onsite secure parking, my request was met and exceeded. The location was very convenient near restaurants and groceries. Wasn't sure if the tub is supposed to be used as a bath tub but the plug did not work as a stopper. But the shower was great!
- 5/5
There was a fire alarm throughout the hotel when I went down for breakfast. But no one in my party who were in their rooms even heard it. Soundproof rooms are great, but a fire alarm should be heard in the guest rooms, not just the common areas of the hotel. Everything else went fine other than that situation which I assume was a false alarm since the hotel staff to whom I spoke had no idea about what was going on and continued to act as if it was something normal.
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to MARTA and restaurants.
- 5/5
Also at the check-out the staff said that my room wasn’t paid (that hotels.com said my card was declined). I paid at the hotel but the invoice y received from the hotel was for $0.00. Now I’m so confused. I think the hotel, shouldn’t charge me again.
- 3/5
Everything was great, minus the elevator was broken & staff did not offer to assist with bringing luggage up the stairs.
- 5/5
Absolutely wonderful stay in the heart of Midtown!! Super friendly staff, very clean, will definitely be back
- 5/5
Great property for a long weekend.
- 5/5
Perfect place right in the heart of Atlanta. The staff is exceptional!!
- 5/5
Nice downtown hotel in a cool area. Parking was really nice in a secure lot under the hotel. The parking was worth the price.
- 5/5
Everything was GREAT minus not having a pool

Amazing staff: Akeino, Shonna and Kerry went above and beyond and we were there for 1 week... good location, good size room, nice kitchennette...parking is small ans tight and do get flooded ..nice breakfast with a lot of hot options... i would highly recommend
- 5/5
Always enjoy staying here. Very easy to park in the under-building lot. Clean rooms and building. Friendly staff. Easy to get around town with plenty to do in this area.
- 3/5
The AC was not working optimally. Some kind of smell in the room.
- 4/5
The staff was excellent. Housekeeping was great. The breakfast could be better. Overall it was wonderful.
- 5/5
Great service and always a great stay
- 2/5
The drain of bath tub was clogged, and they didn’t solve the problem for guests properly. The smell of the elevator was bad.
- 5/5
Nice property in a good location.
- 5/5
clean, friendly staff and decent breakfast
- 4/5
I didn’t like the parking garage. It was tight
- 4/5
The Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However, parking was not included, even though the parking garage was their’s. I did have to get a card from inside at customer service check-in desk. Parking was an additional $30. This information as to an additional fee for parking was not provided on Hotels.com. I was highly disgruntled.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
Unfortunately, beds require an urgent upgrade. Matresses are very old and lost their firmness. Bed sheets are cheap and have to be replaced too.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful The only complaint I can think of was the we booked fro Expedia and therefore didn't get what we orders as a room two rooms with two double beds. But because they were booked and we went through Expedia we only got one room with two beds and one with a king and pull out couch. It worked for our group but would have been better to have what I booked for sure. The hotel as a whole was a nice place to stay
- 5/5
Breakfast was good. Small breakfast buffet. Staff was friendly.
- 2/5
Bad hotel
- 5/5
Pleasantly surprised by the room, it was clean and bigger than i thought it would be.
- 4/5
Safe, secure property. Very clean, comfortable.
- 5/5
Fantastic location, great breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable and clean room. We would definitely stay again.

Night Front Desk Courtney with a C is extremely RUDE, unprofessional & disrespectful! She tried to downgrade us to a cheaper King Bed frrom the more expensive 2 queen bed & refused to give us a refund then threatened to give away our reservation when I refused to back down. Eventually she found our 2 queen bedroom, saying to my husband that since he has been patient, she is taking a room from someone else & giving it to him. Lies! That's the room that we paid for that she tried to take away & then decided to give back because I wouldn't let take her lies! I do not know what scam she maybe doing- taking away from guests their already paid more expensive rooms & giving them cheaper room so they can sell the more expensive rooms & pocketing the difference. Her name is popping up in your Google review for the same complaints. Hilton must look into this employee, her modus operandi & her rude, disrespectful & unprofessional behavior! She does not reflect Hilton values!
- 5/5
The hotel was a good one with clean rooms with a kitchen with dinnerware and other utensils. The breakfast provided was decent and we noticed that the food was hit at times and during peak times, people were waiting for only a few minutes to get their food. On Monday, we were offered by the person working there to prepare the waffle and oats for us. That was a sign of good service.
- 4/5
Perfect location and nice staff. Hotel smelled like weed several times throughout my stay.
- 4/5
Nice staff. Nice location. Good value. Some maintenance issues that should be addressed.
- 5/5
Hotel was amazing, the only thing is that it’s kind of noisy, you can hear all the noise from outside.
- 3/5
We’ve stayed in quite a few of these over the years and I’ve never left a review, but this one we all agreed was certainly the worst and we’ve never had a bad experience before
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and easy to get to. It was pretty quiet. The room was clean and in good condition. It is walkable to numerous restaurants. Parking is $30 which is expensive but on par for the area.
- 5/5
Great service and amenities
- 4/5
Loved the location and how it was close to everything. The only downside is they charge $30 parking and don't tell you until you book so be aware. Room with expedia was $144 plus the $30 parking. Breakfast and staff were amazing and room was clean and spacious.
- 3/5
I didn’t like the fact that my toilet was clogged up in my first room once I had already gotten settled in & then having to move to another room due to maintenance not being available late at night.
- 4/5
We loved everything about the hotel except the parking for compact so with a van or truck was very difficult to park and get out of the lot.
- 3/5
Bed, pillows and linen smell bad.
- 5/5
Courtney was very welcoming and her energy was appreciated! Great staff presence and welcome!
- 3/5
Front service personnel (Courtney) was very rude.
- 4/5
- 5/5
I didn't like there was a $30 fee for parking in a very tight parking deck that was barely even used. Other than that it was good.
- 5/5
Good location for this property walkable too many things around
- 3/5
parking was horrible!! the parking garage is so small and somewhat dangerous to park in or drive through. the gate to get into the garage continuously wouldn’t work, and are room ISNT SOUND PROOF. i could hear everything coming from outside. even from the 6th floor. Overall i probably wouldn’t stay here again, but it was fine for what we needed. also PARKING $30 a night is ridiculous considering you aren’t even promised parking.
- 5/5
All great!
- 5/5
Check-in was quick. Fromt desk rep was very friendly & gave all important info
- 3/5
I really wanted to like this hotel but found it hard to. There is only one elevator that works and no service elevator. So in the morning when the cleaning staff shows up be prepared to wait 5 minutes to get the only elevator that works. The TV in my room stopped working after two days and I asked the front desk to fix it and they said they did (while I was still in the lobby). They said it was a computer problem. When I arrived back later that evening it was still broken and of course the maitenance person was gone for the day. So I asked for a new room and the rather surely front desk clerk made me bring everything down to the lobby before she would give me a new room key. Ridiculous. The other functional issue is the heating/cooling system blows hot or cold air on you as you sit on the couch or are in bed. No diverters are in the room so the blowing air is really obnoxious.
- 4/5
Good location .
- 5/5
Front Desk associate who checked us in was really friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Looks a little old and outdated
- 5/5
Definitely will stay again
- 5/5
Super helpful staff and a really nice hotel.
- 5/5
Extremely friendly staff and a very nice room.
- 5/5
It was good
- 5/5
Great location in midtown. Rooms are very nice. Will be returning
- 2/5
They only clean every other day, and sometimes they forget to do that. Light fixtures are rusty and dirty.
- 4/5
The parking garage was very difficult to get around to park. I did appreciate that it was gated. Staff were friendly. Room was clean.
- 4/5
It was nice and the breakfast options were good too.
- 3/5
Breakfast was not good with very limited selection. Homeless men sitting right outside the doorstep.
- 5/5
Great location, has everything need, friendly and helpful staff!
- 5/5
The stay was great. I highly recommend it.
- 4/5
I really feel this is a great budget option. For the price and location plus amenities in the suites, I’d chose home2 as a preferred option when available
- 3/5
I think 30 a night parking is bit ridiculous. The ac broke 2nd day we were there and after room never cooled dwn past 72. Rooms were average old carpet but roomservice cleans very well and breakfast bar was very nice and good . . Minus the not having ac and ridiculous parking price it was pleasant stay
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Was in town for a girls’ trip to a concert. Spacious room and a great location right next to the midtown MARTA station, making getting to and from the arena easy. Located on a nice walkable street with restaurants close by.
- 5/5
Overall good. Could have used a full length mirror
- 4/5
There is one AC vent in the room and it blows directly on the bed. The room is either hot or cold, not consistent. Huge gap at door with tons of air blowing in, must be some air management but weird.
- 5/5
Clean and well maintained property with pleasant and helpful staff.
- 2/5
I came here with my husband and our son and daughter for one night. I should have realized that I booked the hotel for downtown and not somewhere away from the traffic. The parking garage was tiny, only one car could go in at a time because there was another car parked in the way. Aside from that you have to know how to real for real and angle your car not to hit anything or anyone. Whomever designed that garage needs to be fired it’s not tall enough nor wide enough. I didn’t know that you had to pay for parking and ask for a hotplate for your room. The hotel itself wasn’t bad but the location and the getting in and out was difficult.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 2/5
The front desk person when we first got there was rude. Breakfast was great! The parking garage was sketchy and should have been included in the price of the hotel room not an added expense.
- 5/5
It’s was located great to GT college, 0.8 mile walking distance tons of restaurants when walking distances. Breakfast was good. Very accommodating we needed extra pillows they gave them to us within 5 mins.
- 2/5
The morning staff was the best part of this experience. They were super kind and personable. NOW the night staff needs to either find a job where they’re not dealing with the public or take a Xanax before work. They were rude and looked unqualified to even deal with people in a hotel setting.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for everything we did. Only thing, if you have a SUV or a larger vehicle, their parking garage will really test your driving skills. Narrow space presents a slight challenge, but overall a great stay. Definitely recommend.
- 5/5
I had an issue where I initially booked for a short stay. I was pleasantly surprised when I first arrived at the hotel. It for sure had a home feel and the room was equally comfortable.
- 4/5
Secured covered parking, ease of access and convenient to my business location a definite plus.

Clean, nice staff, and a super beautiful room and super safe parking
- 5/5
Very good breakfast and it was quiet in the hotel.
- 5/5
Super close to Centennial Park, Georgia Aquarium, CNN & State Farm Arena. Room exceeded my expectations.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and had a variety. The parking garage was cramped. There was a fair amount of outside noise, but that was to be expected given its location.
- 5/5
Awesome hotel, clean and good breakfast
- 1/5
i arrive early at hotel I know check in is later in the afternoon i am a black gentleman i went to front desk The young lady said no rooms were ready yet . i sat there for a hour or so they let 2 white gentleman were allowed to check in...early i asked to speak to the manger He told me they were sold out last night i would have to wait for hour or so He finally let me check in He told i needed to booked through the hotel He was black manger I felt so disappointed how i was treated there I will never stay there ever again Its because my race they did not allowed to checked in earlier

There was only one soap bar, which we found it inconvenient.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing
- 5/5
Clean, modern, good location, good service. Room was very nice with a sitting area and kitchenette.
- 4/5
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. One of the beds you could literally feel the springs in the mattress on one side. The parking garage and additional parking fees were horrible. Breakfast was good and service was friendly.
- 3/5
The parking garage is a nightmare. Sharp turns, and not enough spots. We had to squeeze into a parking spot (that was not a spot) and hope that the car next to us wouldn’t hit our car when trying to get in. The room was nice. Nothing too crazy good or crazy bad about it. Was enough room. No view, but we didn’t expect to get a view with the price we paid. The toilet would not flush. (That’s always a great time) The location was decent. We walked a few blocks and got to where we needed. Lots of night life around. Overall I’d give it a 3. We prolly won’t go there again, but it wasn’t an awful stay. I think we paid $200 plus $25 parking fee (a night).
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 1/5
Gentleman at front desk at check-in was rude, confrontational and obviously had no clue what he was doing since he couldn’t pull up our reservation, charged our credit card and then had to refund it. Also told me to “back up” at the front desk when I was literally standing at the check-in desk. Also sent us to a room that had not been cleaned and acted out out that we came back down asking for a new room. Several people were waiting to check-in because front desk was understaffed. Terrible experience!
- 4/5
Clean, great suite, bed a little hard for my taste. Would love to see these down in PCB.
- 5/5
It was nice and clean.
- 4/5
Convenient walkable to nearby area, comfortable beds, nice and the staff reasonably priced
- 5/5
Every staff member was super friendly and helpful. Location was perfect next to the subway and walkable to great restaurants and venues. Free in-house laundry was greatly appreciated. Will definitely stay her again!
- 1/5
Management was great. Just multiple issues since arriving. Service in room sucked. Manager was fantastic and fixed all my issues
- 4/5
Great location, walkable to shopping and lots of restaurants. Safe and clean
- 2/5
Sheets were dirty, had to go to front desk and get a clean set. Changed the sheets ourselves without any apology from the staff. The elevator was terribly slow, we literally had to wait over 15 mins to get on the elevator. Overall the hotel was not clean and felt dated. Very disappointed
