    We have always chosen Hilton properties but the entire process at this Hilton location was a nightmare. The staff!!!!! My husband received a call on the morning that he was to check in that he needed to update his card information however it made him feel uncertain to update his card over the phone. We called the Hilton location to change the card and were told it needs to be updated through booking. Within minutes it was updated through booking with a confirmation email at 8:53am. My husband drove to Augusta to be with his children because their mother had passed away. He went immediately to be with them and didn’t get to the hotel until 7pm to check in. When he arrives he is told that the Hilton servers were down and there was nothing they could do for him. They kept going back to the fact that he didn’t change his card over the phone and they couldn’t confirm that he had updated his card. They did not call booking to confirm the updated information from 11 hours before, they did absolutely nothing to get him into a room. He was told by Karen Brown that he would not be charged because they cannot check him in. Being mentally drained he went over to another hotel who immediately got him in to a room. The next day we see a charge by the HILTON for his room stay. I called and spoke to a woman who told me there was nothing she could do to reverse the charge and that he was still showing in their system until Sunday. I get placed on hold and then the line disconnected this happened not once but twice! I called back and get Karen Brown on the line who was a complete and total nightmare. She all of sudden couldn’t talk to me but only to my husband who did not make the reservation but would only speak to him, I bring him on the line (mind you he is dealing with grieving children!) and Karen would not speak to me because I was “argumentative”. Would not provide her last name, never apologized for all of the excess stress, never apologized for no room being available, and never apologized for our card being charged.

    Very clean! From the moment we walked in to getting settled in the room. We checked it all out to make sure it was clean and it was. It is a newer hotel and we felt comfortable staying there for two nights. We will say again when we visit next time

    Staff went above and beyond. They were very accommodating and friendly. It snowed while we were here and the staff set up board games and made hot chocolate for the kids. The room was spacious and had everything we needed.

    I loved the hospitality that Ms. Latricia Kirk gave. She went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I had what we needed to enjoy our breakfast. I would say the breakfast was good, a new toaster oven is needed and the fruit was delicious! Things are also fixed in a timely manner. The thing I didn’t like is I found two bugs in my room. The first one was crawling on the headboard, not sure what it was, but the second one was a flying roach ?.

    The hotel was clean!! The TV in the room did not work, I notified the receptionist and she responded back hours later.     This was our first time staying at Homewood Suites. We see the difference in quality, cleanliness, availability of amenities, and the intentional friendly encounters with their staff. You get what you pay for. The cost was a bit higher, but we definitely had a better experience that was worth the additional cost.     Very nice hotel just like the pictures inside and out, all the staff were friendly. The veda confit and everything was clean. Breakfast was good. Not pricey for a studio w stove, regular side fridge, and all the utensils. Loved out stay there and will stay again when we go visit my son at the Fort. Thanx Hilton

    The hotel was sold out. The room we were given was a handicap accessible room (we did not request this). The room was hot and we literally had to turn til he AC all the way down and it cooled off in the middle of the night (this repeated all 3 nights we were there). The ceiling fan over the bed would not work unless the light was on as well. The shower leaked and the kitchen sink sprayed water onto the floor. It is a very nice hotel and the staff was friendly but that room was not a good one.

    The hotel is beautiful and clean. Very convenient to base. There were 2 issues. One is the pool was “closed due to a maintenance issue” and I feel as it is an amenity to the property that was part of our decision to stay here there should be some small compensation for the inconvenience, but the staff just shrugged their shoulders. The second issue was the hot water not working in our room. When I informed the front desk they proceeded to ask if I turned it on correctly or gave it enough time making me feel dumb. They later confessed they had been having that problem with that particular room. While they did the right thing and gave us another room they made me feel stupid first which was highly inappropriate

    We were ask to leave the lounge area of the hotel, first we thought we were loud, the said we were not. I explained we there with our 90 year old celebrating her birthday, pointed her out sitting in tv area. The was a 15 of us, and each of us were 50plus in age. We packed ourselves in my aunt's room and continued to have a great night. In the the past 4 years we have had at least 3 family events at that location with no complaints and booked at least 20rooms each time. Never had an issue with the lounge area. My family does not want to return to this location

    Great stay for a quick weekend visit to the Fort Eisenhower Army Base which is less than 10min away! It was convenient and very clean with a friendly and helpful staff. For example, the staff "saved the day" when we almost had a very unpleasant food experience using Grub Hub. There aren't a lot of food options in walking distance, so we ordered out. Unfortunately, the restaurant delivered our food to the wrong hotel, Hampton Inn, in front of Homewood Suites and we had to drive to the other hotel in the rain to pick up the order. Already off to a bad start. Then they forgot to include condiments, salad dressing, utensils and the food was cold. We asked the hotel staff for assistance and they quickly offered us condiments and dressing from their kitchen. Thankfully we were also able to use the microwave and cutlery in our hotel suite which made up for what would have been a really bad food experience. Based off these small but meaningful experiences we'll plan to stay here the next time we visit our son at the Army Base!

    Ok if all you need is a place to stay. No frills and not all that welcoming. But by no means a bad place. Comfortable and quiet. House keeping once every five days/by request is not preferable but not a big deal. All in this was an unremarkable stay, nothing went wrong and nothing stood out.

    We stayed for one evening and it was pleasant. We were given the wrong room but it was fixed very quickly. The new room smelled like cigarette smoke but it wasn't terrible. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The noise level in the room next to ours was crazy though. Overall it was clean, breakfast was decent and it was a nice safe area.

    Upon arrival, we were given the choice of any floor in the building. I’m assuming they weren’t really busy. We were informed of breakfast times and that was it. Imagine my utter disappointment and extreme frustration to find out the next day that the pool was closed indefinitely. It was 108° F (42° C) and we couldn’t use the pool. There should have been a notice that the pool wasn’t open at the time of booking. I would have made a different choice, but I’m sure that is why it’s still being advertised as an amenity. Let’s talk about breakfast. The space was clean and provided ample space for sitting. The selection of food was sparse. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was meh and the bedding was scratchy. The pillows were blah. (Feather pillows are awful and unsupportive. I woke with a sore neck and welts on my face from the feathers.)So far, I’m not a happy Hilton customer.

    First everyone was very friendly. Our room was about as far away from ck in as possible. Our Tv did not work and after service we requested another room. Which we received.     The hotel is a little dated, worned carpet and furniture. The first room w e were given vanity sink was stopped up. The breakfast amenities were scarce. Really was not worth the time spent to go get a meal. Some cook items were very depressing. Oatmeal in pouches , cereal in individual containers, boil eggs and fresh fruit would have been better. Staff was courteous and considerate. Location was great, easy to get around. Please work on the the breakfast admenities.

    My stay was great fro check in until about 8am on check out day. The hotel was doing housekeeping at 8 am. On the day of check out (12noon) I took my bags down and put the dnd on the door like I had all weekend. I literally never took it off whether I was in the room or not. And on check out morning heyvwent into my room took the roof I had in there and disposed of it as well as personal items I planned on using to make breakfast that daybefore our flight. However our $70 steals were thrown out and my daughters irreplaceable toy she gave me for travel that was a gift to her from her teacher. When I approached the manager about my things they only returned the grocery it me not the steaks or the stuffed animal. Mind you all of this was around 9:45am after I returned from the store. The manager was rude even to make jokes about how I couldn’t eat my steak on the plane anyway. When I was preparing to eat it before I checked out. have contacted Hilton regarding this matter as well. The hotel was great it’s the people that will be the reason I tell my friends and family not to stay here.
