    The room was pretty nice, AC was cold. But they tried to overcharge me at the front desk when I told them I already paid, there was no breakfast in the morning (which is 95% of the reason I booked this hotel), and they would only let us check out a few minutes late if we paid another $40.

    Hardwood floors. Nice Continental breakfast. Needs and pillows are comfortable. The bathroom still has reminders of previous guests, hair on the back of the commode and spots on the mirror.

    Parking was plentiful and convenient. I felt safe in the parking lot. The linens appeared to be clean but the floor appeared dirty (particles stuck to my bare feet) and someone had used the little soap on the sink. This was replaced. I chose the hotel largely based on the claim that the rooms were soundproofed but I did not find this to be the case. I could hear someone talking and later snoring from the adjacent room. My room was on the ground level and the window faced a bare wooden fence. Positives: I appreciated the iron, ironing board and hair dryer. The hotel was in a good, easily accessible location for me. When I left, there was no one at the front desk and I left my electronic keys on the front desk.

    It was clean and the location was great, I did not eat the breakfast but the small breakfast area was clean and had a few options with tables to sit at. The room and bathroom was very clean and well stocked with towels and sanitary products. The staff was not the greatest, I was given the wrong room number at check-in but it was corrected in a timely manner. The halls and some staff members did not smell the greatest, and the elevator was very slow.

    Right off 1-20 Staff was the most friendly, cleaning ladies were cussing in front of my children, Breakfast was not appealing, it took the staff forever to replace anything in the breakfast area, they were constantly on their phones. Walls are very thin. My children and I walking down the hallway and you could hear someone having s**. Doors off hinges laying in the hallway.

    When we arrived the two people at the desk were speaking to each other in another language. The one appeared to be training the other but they never said so. They had trouble finding our reservation and didn't explain or talk to us. I only knew they did find it as the one started to make our keys. Not friendly at all like your staff in Macon location. Lisa could train them! In the morning we had to leave before breakfast and I asked if they had any bananas in bad as I know they always put them out. Was told they couldn't go look. Again not helpful at all. This location staff should go to the Macon location for training as Lisa and her staff are amazing. Desk lamp was also broken and hanging from a wire

    The property and room waa cleaned. I stayed in Room 110 and the bathroom had a very bad smell. I should of changed rooms. Front Desk said it would go away but it never did. I bought incense to mask the smell. Asked for extra pillows which I was given but no pillow cases. Water pressure of shower very low. AC didnt work well. To top it off someone opened the door at 1am. Luckily i.had the latch down or they would of gotten in the room. I reported this to the clerk at desk when i checked out. Never will i stay there again

    Got down to breakfast at 9:30 – half hour before breakfast ended and there was very little left. No sign from the front desk that he was gonna replenish anything. Elevator smelled horrific. We avoided it by taking the stairs.

    Room clean except for shower walls/floors visibly unclean with what appeared to be permanent brown stains. Shower door would not stayed closed (broken). Stair well was dirty. Breakfast was a kinda pitiful but it appear other guests enjoyed making their own waffles. Gym was a joke - basically equipment in a closet that could only be accessed from outside - definitely not safe.

Heard the elevator ding and as it moved between floors; our room wasn’t even near the elevator. My room had a broken safety lock. “Breakfast” was very lack luster. I don’t expect much from a free hotel breakfast, but the couple items they had were a joke. I don’t recommend this hotel if you’re traveling with kids.

    My room was dirty, including hair in the shower and bathroom floor. The pool has been filled in with concrete. The rooms have doorbells, which people were ringing all night long. I got zero sleep. I left after the first night and Expedia refused to credit me for the second night. I am done with Expedia - they never remove poor hotels from their website. This one was horrible.

    One of the front desk hotel clerks banged on my door in the middle of the night and used profanity, yelling and telling me to get out because he said the television was too loud. I recorded the whole incident. It was a very scary situation and I was highly disappointed with how it was taken care of (or a lack thereof) by management. I will not stay at this hotel again!

    Excellent experience. The hotel was spotless, the room comfortable, and had everything you needed. The staff was very friendly and attentive at all times. The location is perfect for getting around the area easily. I would definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.

    I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The room I was placed in last wasn’t even clean…. Anytime I check in with I guess the manager I get a room like that, but when I check in with one of the other young men that work there I get a fairly nice room.     Nothing wrong with the room it was the staff. The room was very dirty. The sheets were dirty and so was the floor. There was a red something sticky spilled underneath the bed And the sheets had a yellow stain. Also the microwave was in Spanish which I guess if fine I've just never seen it before. Just let this be your last option.

    One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a while and had not one problem. From check in to check out everything was absolutely wonderful. Very clean and smelled wonderful!!! I don’t know what was in the room but every time we stepped back in, it smelled as if it was freshly sprayed with Lysol!!!

    The shower wasn'tclean. We could see old soap & dirt on the walls of the shower. The breakfast was what is expected at a Wingate hotel. Over all it was a great nights stay.

    We stayed in the third floor and no elevator service. I have respiratory disability and stuck on third floo, the front desk person did offer to assist just to make sure we left on time for checkout. Left number for manager to offer assistance

    I was on first floor in room 113 whom ever was on the second floor they must have had a WWE Battle royal because the noise from them jumping up and down shook my room I finally called the front desk to complain. And it died down other than that it was very clean and I will definitely come back

    The front staff at Wingate are outstanding, so very helpful and patient when guest is unable to work the TV remote. Beyond that they are friendly and are very welcoming. The rooms are lovely, newly renovated and yea no carpet. Beds, pillows are grand. Very clean and will stay here again.

    TV remote was quite difficult to work, finally went to front desk where lovely lady that checked me in helped. Remote should be simple. Room was very clean and comfortable, pillows little stiff for my taste, but all in all a lovely night.

    The bed was uncomfortable and too firm, the linen was nice. I have stayed here twice and both rooms had public hairs in the bathroom on the floor. The curtains are sheer and don’t cover the huge bright lights in the parking lot

    Huge thank you to all the staff in Wingate I20 for their service and hospitality during the Masters last week. My original booking was quite last minute and I could only book two nights due to availability but the team at the front desk were amazingly accommodating and we ended up staying for 5 nights. Highly recommended too for convenience to Augusta National less than 20mins by cab.

    The room and the facilities were immaculately clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with information about attending the masters golf tournament. The beds were very comfortable and the HVAC system worked well. They’re planning some renovations which I needed to improve the lighting in the bathrooms and improve the water flow in the showers. The room floors are hardwood which allows them to remain exceptionally clean. I recommend it highly to those going to the masters golf tournament as it is only an easy 10 minute drive via highway.

    Red Roof Inn is always my go to hotel because they let pets stay free. I have stayed at this hotel probably 4 times and this past time was not great. It says 100% smoke free and yet my entire room reaked of it from the people beside me (we had the joint doors). I didn't ask for another room because we were only there 2 nights. I just asked that he would go ask them to stop. Ironically the neighbor worked at this hotel ...

    Was wonderful! The price was so affordable. Staff at check in that evening and check out the next morning were genuinely friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean, bed was comfortable. Will definitely stay again if I find myself in that area.

    As always the case with Red Roof Inn, it was a fine place for one night's lodging on the way home. Not perfect - bulb in the desk lamp was burned out but other than that, no complaints. No breakfast due to Covid, but that was fine. Always prefer safety. Will be back in the spring.

    It was aweful, they kick me out of the hotel because supposedly my dog was barking and he was mot even at the room. I ask the person in the front desk to come to the room to investigate and he wouldn’t even listen or go to my room to investigate that I didn’t have my dog with me. He said they have cameras but obviously he didn’t look at them because I didn’t have my dog with me. I came down stairs and try to explain the same thing to him and instead of apologizing he treat to call the police. This is not a pet friendly hotel, be mindful you could be kick out of hotel for no fault of your own, like in this case they argue my dog was barking when I didn’t even have a dog with me.

    During check-in is always a problem when you use your free room Rewards because they ask for the card that the room was paid for with and is always a problem. The room is very dated there is peeling in the shower tub mold on the floor underneath the sink in the back but it looks like water has pooled and dried.

    Bathtub was dirty. We had to buy Clorox spray to scrub the dried on stains off. Hotel also had a foul smell. Staff was nice but I wasn’t a fan of the property. Most of the red roofs we’ve stayed in have been way better. Will not stay here again.

    As far as the room and house keeping everything was great.... the only thing that I didn’t like and made me a bit frustrated was the older guy at the front desk telling me not to book through Hotels.com anymore and to book my reservations through the front desk...The reason why I book through Hotels.com is because sometimes they have great deals and after a certain amount of stays you receive a free night..... I understand by going through a third party they only get a certain percentage but they are still making money.... With this pandemic going on right now there is not a lot people can afford.... all these hotel owners are jacking up there prices right now trying to make more money knowing that certain agencies will help pay to put those people in hotels and hotels take advantage of those agencies not thinking about the people that are losing jobs and there houses and have to go to a hotel to stay but really can’t afford on there own.... I’m not saying this hotel does that but that’s when all these third party companies are great to use because you get other deals at the same time while making reservations through them.... Wyndham.com after you get a certain amount of points you get a free night stay or either a discounted price.... hotels.com after you stay for a certain amount of days you get a free night stay.All that comes in handy right now with everything that’s going on with COVID-19 and people losing there jobs and houses. Besides that my stay was great....

    Hotel is clean.Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable.Very peaceful and quiet...Area for dogs to use bathroom. Very nice people from the front desk to house keeping.... I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for peace and quietness and just want to relax.. And also the rates are good....My opinion you get more than what you pay for.....
